Beautiful dining rooms (and a terrace in summer), friendly service, very good food 👌👍

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – An absolutely perfect New Year's Eve at Picok! We celebrated New Year's Eve (December 31, 2025) at Picok, and I don't want to overstate it – but this evening was simply perfect. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by a warm atmosphere; the entire team was attentive, welcoming, and always available. Hosts Golubic and their team know exactly how to pamper their guests! The buffet was a culinary explosion: Mediterranean cuisine at its finest – fish, scampi, shrimp, steaks, chicken, delicious salads, and so much more that I would need the menu to list everything. And then the surprise: there were even additional dishes that weren't on the menu! We were particularly impressed by the live cooking, where steaks, chops, lamb chops, and other specialties were freshly and perfectly prepared – incredibly tasty, juicy, tender, and simply cooked to perfection. Fresh food was constantly being replenished, ensuring a plentiful and high-quality meal at all times. The four of us spent about three and a half hours there and felt completely pampered. The service was attentive and friendly, anticipating every need before we even had to ask. The meal culminated in a magnificent dessert highlight – incredibly delicious Kaiserschmarrn and other sweet treats. In short: An evening we will remember for a long time. It was delicious; we were there for the New Year's Eve menu. Everything was very fresh and there was always plenty of it. They kept replenishing the food. It was freshly grilled. The service was very friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back. Highly recommended.

Excellent cuisine, a menu that goes beyond the usual fare, though it is a bit more expensive! There were four of us, and we ordered different dishes, all of which were superbly prepared. The service was a little slow; otherwise, we certainly would have ordered a few more drinks. The staff were consistently very friendly! Parking is available directly in front of the restaurant, but unfortunately, as far as I could see, it's only accessible via a staircase!

I always enjoy going there when I'm visiting family in Aschaffenburg. The food is good, the staff is very friendly, and there's a good selection of dishes. There are some reviews here that criticize the prices and/or the food quality. I can't agree with that and believe that high-quality food simply comes at a price. I've been there many times and have never been disappointed.

A friendly, but very large restaurant. You're always greeted warmly, even when it's packed, and you'll get a seat (if one is available). Because of its size, it's quite noisy inside, especially during family celebrations. When we were there, there were apparently three birthday parties going on! Despite the commotion, everything was handled efficiently, and we weren't forgotten. I imagine it's quieter and more comfortable outside in the summer when the weather is nice. The food was delicious; someone clearly enjoys cooking there!

We spontaneously asked for a table here by phone, and it was still possible for two people. The restaurant was very busy. You can also sit outside with a view of the Main River. The menu offers something for everyone, from Croatian cuisine to German schnitzel. The menu isn't too extensive, which is fine with us. In addition to the regular menu, there's also a supplementary menu with recommendations, so I opted for the lamb shank. It was super delicious, I can say. We received very friendly and attentive service. Personally, this is my absolute favorite restaurant. We'd love to come back.

We ate at the Picok restaurant in Aschaffenburg, and it was simply fantastic! I had a steak – cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavor. My wife ordered shrimp as a starter, followed by fish, and she too was delighted. Everything was fresh, excellently prepared, and simply delicious. Added to that was very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately what is served is not what is on the menu but something else!!

For a year now, the quality of the food and the preparation has been declining sharply. The weight of the steaks is wrong. The cooking times are wrong. Cooking for this price... has to be different. ...I'm not a chef... I'm a master... !

Very nice restaurant. Plenty of space, even for larger parties. The food was delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff. Views of nature. A bike path also runs past here, for anyone who enjoys a bike ride. We'd love to come back.

We were invited to a small family gathering and visited the Picok restaurant... we were greeted very warmly and escorted to our table... the orders were excellent and quick... you are often asked by different waiters if you want anything else because there are already so many... the food was delicious and I highly recommend it, of course a bit more expensive than elsewhere, but you are happy to pay more when the quality and taste are very good... all in all, a successful evening

Beautiful outdoor terraces with lots of shade. The price/performance ratio is still somewhat ok for the side salad and grilled squid, but unfortunately not for the gratinated sheep's cheese. 12 € for a small piece of sheep's cheese (not yet 100g), two olives, a few snippets of pepper, a few onion rings, two half cocktail tomatoes and white bread. Quite disappointing.

Absolutely recommended – our favorite restaurant on the Main! We go to Picok regularly and with great pleasure - and for good reason! The quality of the food is consistently at the highest level. We would particularly like to highlight the truffle sauce, which in our opinion is the best around - a real dream! The beef fillet is also cooked to perfection every time and is incredibly tasty. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right – you really get quality for your money here. The service is first-class, the staff are always attentive and friendly - hospitality is truly lived here. We think it's particularly nice that Mr. Golubic, the head chef, personally asks the guests whether everything was to their satisfaction. This personal touch always makes the visit special. Sitting indoors is very comfortable - the tables are positioned so that you can enjoy your privacy. In summer we like to sit outside with a wonderful view of the Main - simply fantastic! We always reserve in advance as the restaurant is very popular - and rightly so! Conclusion: An all-round harmonious experience that we enjoy again and again. Many thanks to the whole Picok team!

It couldn't be better. Went there for the fish buffet... sensationally delicious.

The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly. We had a fish platter with 1x sea bream, 1x perch and 4 shrimps for 2 people with a side salad and white bread. At a price of €31.50 per person, that was okay. What I didn't like was that the white bread wasn't enough for us (3 slices per person) and the bread we ordered was charged separately. At this price I would expect that this should be included. I also find it totally unreasonable to charge €6 for a bottle of sparkling water.

Our 4-course Valentine's Day menu was simply fantastic and exceeded our expectations! Each course was prepared with attention to detail, tasted excellent and was beautifully presented. The service was attentive, friendly and perfectly coordinated. An unforgettable experience – we would love to come back!

We recently visited the restaurant and chose a Croatian Zagreb platter as well as a Swabian platter. The portions were normal in size, but we were not completely impressed by the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately, the sauce for the Swabian plate was much too salty, which affected the taste experience. The Zagreb platter was good overall, but lacked the typical side salad that is usually included. Here the salad has to be ordered separately, which was a bit disappointing for us. The restaurant's prices are rather high compared to the quality of the food and the location, which spoils the overall picture somewhat. What should be highlighted positively is that parking directly in front of the restaurant is easy, which makes the visit pleasant, at least in this respect. Overall, a mixed impression.

We have been guests here several times and are always satisfied with this restaurant. There is a lot of space inside and outside, and the menu, which changes daily, also offers a large selection of dishes. The service is friendly, but in my opinion you sometimes have to be patient.

The food and service can amaze you, we've been there a few times now and each time we've had excellent food and friendly service. Since it is a former clubhouse, the ambience/design is unfortunately not appropriate to the high standard of the food. It's clean and you sit comfortably. As I said, the food is great, you should treat yourself to pleasant company, then the surroundings are of secondary importance.

Had dinner there and I have to say that the nice reception alone was really great. For my main course I had the Surf&Turf and I can say that it was one of the best steaks I've had up to that point. I can only recommend it and will definitely come back :) Price performance is 100% okay. Top quality at a reasonable price.

We went to eat at Picok again, delicious buffet on Christmas and New Year's Eve. The warmth of the service staff and the boss is simply amazing. Here you will be pampered with charm and enjoyment. We really enjoy coming here. We're already looking forward to the next visit...keep it up

We like the restaurant very much and come to eat often. We have never been disappointed and it has always been delicious and plentiful. The price is a little higher, but since the quality is top, it's definitely justified. We would love to come back...

There were 7 of us eating goose. The food was excellent, everything was beautifully prepared, with salad, chestnuts, pears and cranberries, a real feast. Unfortunately we only got the bony parts of the goose. The breast with skin and the upper thighs were missing, a lot of stuffing and not so much meat. It was still enough and we will come back. Next time maybe eat half a duck. Staff very friendly.

Had dinner here today. The service staff was friendly and the food, although a little expensive, was good. Portions easily sufficient. BUT: Although there were few guests there, my son's drink was first forgotten, and then my daughter's food too!

It was definitely a great surprise during a meeting with colleagues and friends. We ate very well. Everything is prepared with the right seasoning and the service is very friendly. All the types of meat we tried were very good and the atmosphere was also impressive.

Unfortunately the cheese in my Cordon Bleue wasn't melted and I thought the price of 22 euros was a little high. But service was great

1st time visiting and wasn't disappointed. Very large restaurant with various dining areas. Typical Croatian dining with very nicely cooked meat and vegetables etc. There was no little free shot at the end like at many Criotian places but we were so full of good food nobody cared. Will definitely go again.

Totally nice reception. We wanted to take our children to the jumping hall and then to the restaurant to wait. Unfortunately, we were immediately spoken to in a very unfriendly manner because we were standing in the parking lot restaurant. Of course they thought we were going to the jumping hall, but you can ask people politely. Now let's look for another place. So you should still work on being friendly

A really excellent restaurant and very, very tasty food. Completely atypical, thank God there are edible portions here :-) and not the completely overloaded plates that you would otherwise find with a Croatian. Very good quality, we would love to come back.

After the fish buffet, my companion, who was with me at Picok for the first time, said that the food alone was worth the three-hour journey. For me, a visit to Picok is always worth it. For as long as I can remember, this restaurant and its cuisine have always been a highlight for me.

The fish buffet on Good Friday was terrific. Top quality, top selection, great taste. The cooking here was done with passion. It doesn't get any better. To mention the great staff. Very friendly, very fast. This is how you want service. Perfect. We felt very comfortable all around. It was fantastic. Thanks to the entire team. We'd love to come back.

Food is very good, but very expensive. Starter was great, but just way too expensive.

Great ambience, especially if you sit outside and great food no matter where you sit 😉 I would deduct half a point for the volume inside. It feels higher than elsewhere, but that's probably due to the large rooms. Otherwise everything was tip top. Been here several times and will come more often 😊

Wir waren an Weihnachten da und es gab Buffet. Das war sowas von lecker 😋... Nicht nur das Essen war lecker, auch das ganze Ambiente war sehr stimmig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Wir waren definitiv nicht das letzte Mal da.

Wir waren zu sechst dort essen und ich muss sagen, dieses Restaurant ist ein muss für Liebhaber der guten Küche! Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich, die Bedienungen sehr aufmerksam und alle Gerichte von der Vorspeise bis hin zum Dessert sind ein Hochgenuss. Hier passt einfach alles. Überzeugt euch selbst. Wow, war das erste was ich gedacht habe. Super tolles Restaurant in Nilkheim. Essen, Filetspitzen in Cognac mit Krogetten zergingen auf der Zunge. Nachtisch, Vanille Eis mit heißen Himbeeren hat das noch abgerundet. Service ist super freundlich und sehr flott auch wenn der Laden voll ist. Hier stimmt alles und darum gebe ich mein Geld hier sehr gerne aus.😀👍😀👍

"Gans"-fantastisch haben wir am Sonntag zu viert gegessen. Die Präsentation der Speisen, der tolle Geschmack, der sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Service, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis...alles hat gepasst! Wir sind Nilkheimer und können "unser Picok" sehr gern weiterempfehlen.
