Excellent Greek restaurant – a culinary experience! 🌟 I had the pleasure of dining at this Greek restaurant recently with my wife and our daughter and I have to say it was an absolute hit! From the atmosphere to the food and service, everything was just perfect. The restaurant exudes a cozy, Mediterranean atmosphere that immediately evokes holiday feelings. Lovingly decorated details, warm light and soft music make your stay particularly pleasant. The menu offers a wonderful selection of traditional Greek dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. I can particularly recommend the scampi, lamb and liver – tender, juicy and full of flavour. The side salad was crisp and fresh, and the tzatziki was a poem. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and authentic. You can tell that people put their heart and soul into the work here. Our wishes were quickly fulfilled and we felt welcome from the start. The portions are generous and the prices are absolutely fair, especially for the high quality of the food. It's worth every penny! This Greek restaurant is a real gem. Perfect for a romantic evening, a cozy meal with friends or a family dinner. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone. 5 out of 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It was our first time here, but definitely not the last time. Food was good, especially the starter. The fries were excellent. The service was nice, but not always attentive. Also, no fixed table assignment. Otherwise gladly again.

Very family-run restaurant with typical Greek specialties. Pleasantly quiet and yet attentive. The food is very well prepared and the price-performance ratio is very good. An absolute recommendation for me.

The food is good, but if you pick it up, half of it might be missing. What's most annoying is the lack of tzatziki in the dishes, especially when it's picked up. An up-to-date menu available online would be great. And the menu at the entrance is outdated and should be replaced.

As a Warendorf resident, I have tried many restaurants, but I always feel particularly welcome at Philippous. No matter whether it's a starter, a main course or an incredibly delicious dessert - everything is just right here! The portions are always generous and delicious, and even special requests are met with a smile. I particularly appreciate the warmth and hospitality of the entire team. My dog ​​is always provided with fresh water and, if he likes it, even a treat without asking - that's really extraordinary! It's always a pleasure to eat here and I always look forward to the next visit. :-)

Absolute enthusiasm. We've been here several times now. No matter whether grill plate or lamb fillet. The portions are great and the food is really tasty. There's always an ouzo beforehand 😀 the service is first class and very attentive without being intrusive. The owner lends a hand himself. Great class. And the dessert is really delicious. We were definitely not here for the last time.

First time there and thrilled. Reserved for 4 people and received a very friendly welcome. There is a good selection and the food arrived about 20 minutes after ordering. Not only did they look good, they also tasted delicious. The quantity was completely sufficient and we were all full. The ambience outside was really nice and calm. Price/performance is appropriate for the food on offer. We would therefore like to come back and spend the evening there.

Food tastes good, normal Greek dishes. It's a shame that you don't get bread with tzatziki or something similar before eating. The service could be better, drinks are sometimes forgotten and it wasn't nice that four dishes weren't at the table at the same time. First the three salads(!) came and after five minutes the pasta. The beer garden is very nice.

2024: we order the Gaia platter (50€) with baby calamari and get another platter (65€ without baby calamari, but with fried liver). I asked nicely and kindly if the baby calamari had been forgotten because we didn't realize that we had received a completely different plate. The waitress (very nice and polite) said she had put the wrong plate down, it was her mistake, she would bring us the calamari. Ok, no problem at all, mistakes happen and are not serious. When it came time to pay, we were supposed to and did pay for the record for €65, even though we neither wanted nor ordered it. We should still be grateful that we didn't have to pay an additional €13 for the calamari?! Surely they would have been there with the dish we ordered?! So we're actually supposed to pay €65 for a plate that we didn't want and an additional €13 for calamari?! And be grateful that the €13 is waived?! We actually ordered a plate for €50. The error is at the expense of the one who errs!!! We paid the 65€ and we didn't feel like discussing it anymore! Sorry, that was rude! 2023: Waited 2 hours for the food, even though we specifically asked if it would take long because we were traveling with children. This was denied and we still waited 2 hours. No apology, no accommodation and you still had to pay the extra mayo for over a euro, despite the long waiting time?! 2022: The food was very good, as was the service. The owner was super nice. Absolutely top value for money! It's great that there is a bottle of water on the table upon arrival. Dessert was also amazing. We'd love to come back!

Very nice staff, you get a really friendly welcome and good service. The food is also great, rarely have I had such good Greek food! The gyros and mezes (cold starters with bread) are all freshly made and highly recommended.

We had dinner there this evening. We were able to spontaneously order a table for 10 people. The food was super delicious, everything was just right!! The staff is super nice and organized and you can have fun with them :) Always a pleasure!

Today we went to Philippous for dinner without a reservation. Really thought there wasn't much going on. Pustekuchen, sitting in the almost full beer garden and feeling good. Super warm welcome, a very tasty meal and excellent service. So if the service suggests small portions - take them.

Poor Pizzas and meat is very salty

Located in an old farmhouse, just outside Warendorf. It's really nice to sit outside and the food tastes really good too. In any case, my companion and I run. The waiters were all very nice and very attentive. We only stayed inside for a short time to get outside, but it looked very cozy. We'll have to try this again in the winter. With the menu being quite versatile, you can always find something that appeals to you.

Wonderful Greek restaurant with Greek flair in a beautifully decorated traditional half-timbered house. A huge beer garden in the middle of the Münsterländer countryside. Food is very rich and tasty with a large selection of Greek dishes. Very attentive and friendly service with a nice Greek sense of humor! I like coming here when I'm nearby because the guests here are so nice and relaxed. Apparently this is a very powerful place with a long tradition.

It was super tasty and very filling. The waiters/waitress were also very accommodating. We definitely recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.

DANGER! The owner uses deletion software to delete unpleasant reviews! So 4.8 out of 5 stars is FAKE! 1st visit: Super delicious food, cozy atmosphere in the beer garden, nice and courteous service! It was also worth paying the slightly higher prices! 4.5 out of 5 stars 2nd visit: We had to wait a whole two hours for our food! There was no explanation, we were always put off. The mood in the whole restaurant was very bad - because it took so long everywhere and everyone was angry. The restaurant was not crowded. In the end, our criticism only came with excuses and the boss blamed everything on the employees instead of simply apologizing or something. The food was good again, but given the very high prices, the extremely long wait and the bad atmosphere, it was absolutely not worth it. It wasn't a nice evening. 1.5 out of 5 stars

The fish platter was very good. The service is very good and motivated, almost too motivated. Overall, I felt very comfortable in the large outdoor area!

It was super delicious! The atmosphere in the beer garden is really nice and the service is very attentive! You don't feel taken by surprise, you have time to look at the food, drinks and dishes come very promptly without long waiting times! The price-performance ratio is very good! For my part, I became very full and couldn't finish the portion! But you can have it wrapped up! All in all, highly recommended, I would even give it 10 stars!!!

You don't quite get an authentic Greek feeling, but it's still rustic and cozy. • Service: 5/5 We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and immediately shown to our table. We were greeted with an ouzo and our drinks were quickly picked up and served. Within five minutes we had our drinks, the order was taken, and an appetizer salad was served. The service was consistently professional and deserves high praise. • Starter: - We were only served a salad as a starter as we had decided against a starter from the menu. Therefore I cannot rate the starters. • Main course: 4/5 I chose the Olympus plate and also tried the gratinated gyros, which was the highlight for me. The Olympus plate consisted of gyros, souvlaki and soutzoukakia, with fries and tzatziki. The gyro was a bit too thick for me and not crispy enough, but still tasty. The meat was tasty but slightly tough. I found it very tasty with the Metaxa sauce. I particularly recommend the gratinated gyros in Metaxa sauce, which I would order again every time. The gratinated gyro cost €20.50 and was served with fries. Although €20 seems a bit expensive, the taste was worth every penny. The Olympus plate cost €20.80. • Dessert: 3/5 After the sumptuous main course, I was too full to order dessert of my own. So I tried it on my table neighbors. They had galaktoboureko (warm phyllo dough with semolina cream, served with ice cream and cinnamon) for €7.90 and a chocolate soufflé without a liquid center, with a little cream, for €8.00. Overall, the desserts were delicious, although I would have liked a liquid center in the chocolate soufflé. = Conclusion & price-performance ratio: 4/5 A friend recommended the restaurant to me and reported that the food had previously been excellent. The many positive Google reviews convinced me to try the restaurant. Overall it was a very nice evening. I paid €40.05 for my meal because I shared the gratinated gyros. The price-performance ratio was good and we will definitely come back in the summer.

La Familia is the heart of this gastronomy. You can feel it immediately and it's fun to experience Greek culture live. The food and service is unique in Warendorf. It's nice that the gastronomy in Warendorf has something really nice to offer again. 5 stars in all categories. Every wish is immediately recognized and fulfilled. This isn't our first time here. Today we were able to sit in the garden when the weather was nice and enjoy the delicious food. The welcome was friendly and warm. Our dog was also welcomed and immediately given water and a treat (!). We had ouzo and a small salad first. The selection of dishes is varied, the service is very friendly and quick, the portions are large (taking away is not a problem) and the taste is good. We were occasionally asked whether everything was to our satisfaction - that was also very nice. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back :-)

Good service, large portion but no real taste.

We were on assembly in Warendorf with 4 men, and at 10 p.m. the selection of open restaurants was unfortunately no longer large. After a short phone call, we were warmly invited to come by, even though the kitchen was already closed. The boss offered us a large grill plate, which was served a short time later. After a long day at work, we were absolutely thrilled with the food, both the look and the taste. There were also nice conversations with the innkeeper. Wow! Craziness! The awards on the door are not just decoration. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. As soon as you entered the entrance you felt warmly welcomed. The food was -VERY GOOD-! The selection of dishes was just as large as the portions. You'll get your fill here and the quality of the food deserves another award. Fresh, perfectly seasoned & the cooking points were terrific. This isn't the last time you've been here. We are looking forward to our next visit with you! It's a shame that you can't give 6-star reviews. We noticed the restaurant on the way back from the nearby garden center. In a nutshell the decision was made to try out this restaurant. The service is great, everything you would expect from a restaurant. The gods in Olympus would have dreamed of the portion size. The quality of the dishes was excellent, everything was prepared and garnished with a lot of love. We'd love to come back.

The ambience is beautiful! Food was good so far, souvlaki was unfortunately quite tough. Unfortunately the main course came immediately after the starter even though we said to please take your time. Huge portions, so a starter is completely unnecessary, especially when the food comes so quickly one after the other

We planned a meeting with friends from school between the holidays and looked for a location in Warendorf. Since almost everything in the center was closed, I remembered Philippous. We all had grilled chicken from the Christmas menu. The only thing we were missing on our plate was a dip for the very tasty home-made fries/chips. The food was plenty and delicious... our service was very friendly and a bit clumsy... the restaurant was well attended, rustic atmosphere and atmospherically decorated for Christmas. We also found the welcome drink and the sweet greeting from the kitchen at the end very accommodating We didn't regret the visit and really enjoyed it...thank you very much!

Just a really good Greek restaurant. We were there today with 11 people and nothing was missing. Service and boss very friendly, attentive and accommodating. As always ;). Food was very good and the portions were fantastic for the price. I've been there several times now and haven't been disappointed once. 10 out of 10 (or 5 out of 5 stars ;) )

We were super satisfied, very nice boss and attentive employees. The restaurant is at ground level (except for a small part where there is a step) and has a disabled toilet. Since we travel with a wheelchair, this is important for us! The food was really great, we had different starters and then the main courses came, everything was really tasty. But… not a single one ate, my tip > share the starters. The portions are really big, but you can pack it up if you want.

The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is very nice. The service is super nice. There are also parking spaces in front of the house, so you can drive there in a relaxed manner, park in front of the house and just have a nice evening. The prices are perhaps a little higher, like everywhere else now at the moment. Therefore a point deduction... Otherwise, the restaurant is highly recommended.👍

Ein unfassbar gutes Restaurant. Ambiente stimmt, Personal ist supernett und zuvorkommend und das Essen… selbst die Götter auf dem Olymp wissen nicht was ihnen entgeht. Königliche Portionen, liebevoll garniert, vielseitig. Kurz gesagt eine Liaison des Geschmacks. Mein Gaumen hat jeden Bissen genossen und mein Geldbeutel hat sich quasi mit Vergnügen von allein geöffnet. Ein kulinarisches Meisterwerk der griechischen Küche

Super Essen, Super Service, unfassbar netter Chef, nette Gespräche geführt. Der griechische Joghurt zum Nachtisch hat meine Geschmacksnerven zum explodieren gebracht! Immer wieder einen Besuch wert!

Super leckeres Essen und toller Service! Immer wieder gerne.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und an unseren reservierten Tisch begleitet. Die Karte wurde uns schnell gereicht und Getränke und Speisen schnell gefunden . Die Vorspeisen waren fast schneller da als die Getränke und die Hauptspeise kam als noch nicht mal die Hälfte der Vorspeise gegessen war. Die zeitlichen Abläufe müssen unbedingt besser koordiniert werden. Geschmacklich ist noch viel Luft nach oben, da sind wir einfach besseres gewohnt. Als abgeräumt wurde, keine Nachfrage ob noch Wünsche offen sind - wir saßen 30 min auf dem trockenen und auch als wir zahlen wollten hat es noch sehr lange gedauert bis die Rechnung kam. Was wir ganz schlimm fanden war die Bahnhofs Atmosphäre. Es war extrem laut. Es gibt keinerlei Schallschlucker wie Bilder oder Grünpflanzen. Die Bestuhlung ist immer noch die alte, zum Teil durchgesessen. Schade- wir hatten mehr erwartet für ein griechisches Restaurant. " Aust" ist immer noch all gegenwärtig. Fazit in Schulnoten: Bedienung 2 Essen 3- Atmosphäre 4 incl. vertrockneter Tischdeko Absolutes no go. Erst als wir am Tisch saßen wurde uns mitgeteilt das keine Kartenzahlung akzeptiert wird. In der heutigen Zeit ein Unding. Wir haben Verständnis das alles noch am Anfang steht und man sich erst zusammen finden muss, daher werden wir später nochmal rein schauen...

Große Portion, lecker zubereitet und guter Service 😋

Eigentlich ein gutes solides Essen. Leider passen Preis Leistung überhaupt nicht. Für Pommes mit ein wenig überbackenem Gyros 16,50 Euro und ne 0,4 Liter Cola 5,50 Euro. Dann ein Nachtisch mit einer Kugel Eis (nicht selbstgemacht) und ein kleines Stück Grießauflauf 7,00 Euro passen einfach nicht. Und ich gebe gern Geld für gutes Essen aus. Kleiner Nachtrag 12/2023: Ich finde es schade, dass man seine Meinung nicht äußern darf und man nach so einer langen Zeit vom Google Beschwerdemanagement angeschrieben wird, dass der Inhaber sich beschwert hat. Das war damals meine Meinung. Man sollte doch mit negativer Kritik umgehen können oder nicht? Schade.

Ganz selten bei so einem vorzüglichen Griechen gegessen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Selten in Warendorf solche Gastfreundschaft erfahren.

Gutes Essen zu akzeptablen Preisen.

Das Lokal war kalt und ungemütlich (die Bewertung ist aus 12/22) Wir waren am 01.05.23 bei Ihnen im Biergarten. Konnten uns dann bei Lammbraten vom Spieß einklinken. Das Essen war sehr gut und schmackhaft. Danke an den Griller und die Küche. 5***** Achtung! Am 18.12.2023 wurde ich von Google aufgefordert zu meiner Rezension Stellung zu nehmen. Der Inhaber hat über seinen Rechtsbeistand beklagt , dass ich nicht bei Ihm gewesen sei und deshalb die Rezension gelöscht werden solle. Ich habe gegenüber Google meinen Besuch mit Rechnungsbelegen nachgewiesen. Ich bestehe darauf, dass meine Beurteilung weiterhin für Jedermann zugänglich bleibt.

Leckeres griechisches Essen. Reichliche, gute Portionen. Toller Service, sehr freundliches Personal. Geht hin!
