Wir hatten ein Jubiläum zu feiern. Dafür wurde unser Tisch wunderschön dekoriert. Im Wintergarten mit einem herrlichen Blick über das Wesertal. Das Essen war super lecker.

Tolles Ambiente mit einmaliger Aussicht und hervorragend zubereiteten Speisen. Service sehr aufmerksam aber nicht "nervig". Dafür wirklich ☆☆☆☆☆

Ein Besuch im Restaurant Paschenburg lohnt sich absolut! Ich hatte das „Steak Dreierlei“ und war wirklich begeistert – perfekt gegart, unglaublich zart und geschmacklich auf den Punkt. Genau so muss ein gutes Steak sein! Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der wunderschöne Ausblick, der das Ganze nochmal zu etwas Besonderem macht. Dazu kommt ein freundlicher Service und ein rundum stimmiges Ambiente. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wunderbares Ambiente mit toller Aussicht. Das Essen selbst schmeckte ausgezeichnet, die Portionen beim Vier-Gänge-Menü waren fast schon zu groß, viele Bestandteile waren aus regionaler Herkunft. Der Service war absolut freundlich und entgegenkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Ich war mit meinen beiden Kleinen Kids wandern und sie müssten dann natürlich auch mal. Wir durften die Toilette dann in der Paschenburg benutzen. Das war echt super nett. Das Personal war echt super freundlich und lustig drauf. Vielen Dank nochmals.

Wie immer eine Freude! Sehr leckeres Essen mit saisonaler und regionaler Küche. So lässt sich genießen. Das Ambiente im Haus ist besonders und sehr gemütlich. Im Wintergarten ist es manchmal etwas laut, ein kleiner Abstrich, den tagsüber der fantastische Ausblick über das Wesertal mehr als wett macht. Das freundliche Team rundet mit gutem Service jeden Beuch ab. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Toller Steingarten am Schloss, wunderbarer ,zauberhafter Wald darum herum...

Das Menü war ausgezeichnet und der Service perfekt zusammen mit der Aussicht über den wichtigsten Teil Deutschlands hatten wir ein schönes Hochzeitsessen.

Wir waren heute erneut mit unserer Familie an der Paschenburg zu Gast, konkret an der zur Anlage gehörenden Wichtelstübchen. Da wir dort oben regelmäßig Zeit verbringen, fällt die Bewertung dieses Besuchs umso klarer aus. Im Mittelpunkt der negativen Erfahrung stand das Auftreten eines dort eingesetzten Mitarbeiters gegenüber unserem vierjährigen Kind. Die Ansprache erfolgte in einem Tonfall, den wir als deutlich unfreundlich und für ein Kind dieses Alters nicht angemessen wahrgenommen haben. Aus unserer Sicht entspricht ein solches Verhalten nicht den Erwartungen an einen professionellen Umgang mit Gästen, insbesondere nicht mit Familien und Kindern. Auch insgesamt vermittelte der Mitarbeiter den Eindruck starker Überforderung. In diesem Zusammenhang kam es zudem zu einer verbal sehr schroffen Reaktion gegenüber einem weiteren Gast, ausgelöst durch das Fehlen von Waffelteig, der erst noch beschafft werden musste. An einem gut frequentierten Tag sollte eine grundlegende Warenverfügbarkeit aus organisatorischer Sicht sichergestellt sein. Der wiederholte Bedarf an Nachschub nach kurzer Zeit lässt auf Defizite in der Planung schließen. Ergänzend ist das Getränkeangebot für Familien kritisch zu bewerten: Für Kinder werden an der Wichtelhütte ausschließlich kalte Getränke angeboten, während für Erwachsene selbstverständlich warme Getränke wie Kaffee oder Glühwein verfügbar sind. Gerade bei niedrigen Temperaturen erscheint es wenig nachvollziehbar, dass für Kinder keine warme Alternative – etwa Kakao – vorgesehen ist. In einer familienorientierten Umgebung wäre dies aus unserer Sicht eine sinnvolle und naheliegende Ergänzung. Zusammenfassend entsprach der heutige Aufenthalt weder in Bezug auf Servicequalität noch auf Organisation oder Angebotsgestaltung unseren Erwartungen. Für uns steht daher fest, dass wir die Paschenburg künftig weder privat mit unserer Familie noch geschäftlich besuchen oder dort einkehren werden. Als Geschäftsführer und Inhaber einer Firma werde ich für geschäftliche Termine und Aufenthalte ausdrücklich eine andere Lokalität in Betracht ziehen. Wir hoffen, dass diese Rückmeldung als Anlass genutzt wird, sowohl den Umgang mit Gästen als auch interne Abläufe und die Personalplanung kritisch zu überprüfen.

Ein wirklich gelungener Besuch, der recht kurzfristig ausfiel, weil ein reserviertes Restaurant nicht gut vorbereitet war und auf den Besuch verzichtet wurde. Die Paschenburg ist in jeder Beziehung zu empfehlen.

Es war ein sehr schöner, ruhiger und insbesondere leckerer Abend, eine wirklich gute Lokalität, die ich gern weiter empfehle.

Friendly service and, depending on where you sit, a great view. Unlike the drinks menu, the food menu is concise but well-chosen. The ingredients used in the food are of high quality. Unfortunately, the food was too salty for my taste. Good for those who usually add extra salt, but a shame about the quality of the ingredients.

First of all: the food was excellent. In this case, a venison and venison stew. The combination with red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and mushrooms was rather unusual, but very tasty. The same applied to the starters, such as pumpkin soup and two small salads, which weren't on the menu but were flexibly offered and prepared upon request! As spectacular as the winter garden and the view are, when a group of 10 people is celebrating a silver wedding anniversary, communication becomes difficult because it's very loud. You might have to go inside. The service was overall perfectly fine - the "hospitality" could have been a bit friendlier, but that also depends on the mood of the day. In the end, what matters is: we'll be happy to come back. Oh yes, and we found the price/performance ratio to be fair.

This top-class restaurant, which was once a forester's lodge, also has a very beautiful winter garden, from which you have a fantastic panoramic view of the Weser Valley and the Schaumburg region. Binoculars would be helpful, though. I ate "Braised Beef Cheeks" Black cardamom jus, wild broccoli, and potato and parsley mash. There were two special features at this wonderful lunch: first, the extremely tender beef cheeks and the dark brown gravy, referred to here as "cardamom jus," a concentrated meat stock made from the meat juices. The term "jus," by the way, comes from French and actually just means "juice." It refers to a rich, dark brown meat sauce made by roasting bones and vegetables and reducing the liquid. In this case, the chef also added cardamom. It was exceptionally delicious, to put it mildly. A huge compliment to the kitchen and the very friendly waiters.

This is easily in my top 10 most favored restaurants in Germany. It deserves a Michelin star or a reccomend 100%. It sits at the top of a baby mountain over looking the countryside, the staff is fun and Friendly, my server the second time was great, nice wine knowledge and we had some laughs. The decor is fine nothing crazy but cozy a bit chic clean yet somehow still modest. The food tho, wow wow wow! It’s a small menu which I prefer, all pretty standard German fair but done with the upmost attention to detail, plating, ingredients and just exceptional quality. I did notice and I confirmed with the chef that each dish has a tiny tiny hint of love of Asian food and tastes which helps make his work stand out in my thoughts. Truly great work! Love this restaurant I can’t wait to return! 8 stars!

The food was excellent. The drink prices were good, easily comparable (wheat beer €5.50). The service was very friendly. The view would have been even better with cleaner windows.

Exquisite food and a stunning view! Whether as a stopover while hiking, biking, enjoying a cozy get-together with delicious food, or simply enjoying coffee and cake, Paschenburg is worth a visit and the view is simply magnificent!

We stopped in spontaneously for lunch and were treated to excellent cuisine, attentive service, and a fantastic view. Many dishes were also available vegetarian. Thank you very much.

A very nice restaurant, located above Schaumburg Castle, with a fantastic view! The menu is varied and offers something for everyone. We received a warm welcome at the restaurant and were served by a very friendly server. We enjoyed the delicious food and will definitely return! There are plenty of seating options – inside the restaurant itself, in a glass-enclosed winter garden, and on an outdoor terrace under a lush green canopy.

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ RISK OF ADDICTION! Incredibly fantastic cuisine! I had a 4-course meal (three steaks). All courses were perfect down to the smallest detail. The flavors were perfectly balanced. The vegetables were just right. Not too firm, not too soft, and lightly seasoned. Fantastic! Five stars for the thoughtful service. I ordered an asparagus cream soup without asparagus, and they also thoughtful about the main course and adapted the side dish. 👍 I highly recommend this restaurant. See you soon! 🤩

Exceptionally delicious food with a solid selection and homemade dishes.

We enjoyed a delicious five-course meal. The saddle of venison for the main course was exceptionally good! Overall, the cuisine was creative and delicious. A fantastic location with a stunning view of the Schaumburg region from the conservatory. The very friendly and attentive service rounded off a successful evening. We'd love to return soon.

Very friendly chef and staff... incredibly exciting, ambitious menu, making it really hard to decide because everything sounds so good... Bread from the local bakery 👍, lemon and sage risotto with a very balanced flavor and extremely delicious. Three asparagus spears and, unfortunately, rather heavily salted, tender plaice didn't quite live up to the price. The steak was also unfortunately almost cooked, rather than just medium, and the side dishes were good. So, in our opinion, there's still a bit of room for improvement in the prices. We'll definitely come back sometime to try it out.

On a bright day there is cake, filter coffee and soft drinks in the shady courtyard. The restaurant is only for fine dining. It's a shame that you can't enjoy the view from there.

Unfortunately, the path to the toilets is not barrier-free and in winter the winter garden is unfortunately very cold in the foot area (hence only 4 stars for ambience). We spent a wonderful evening at Paschenburg on the last day of the year. We were served a very, very tasty five-course menu. Everything prepared with a lot of handwork and love. The highlight, however, was the homemade chocolate ice cream, which was served with the pear tarté with pear mousse. Incredibly delicious! The service was very friendly, considerate and quick. Very nice restaurant in a historic building. Excellent food (we had roast goose, saddle of veal and, as dessert, the pear tart with chocolate ice cream) and very good service. Parking space directly in front of the house. When the days are brighter again, it will probably be a very nice view ;-)

The price is a little higher than other restaurants, but worth the money. The food is unique, something very special. The ambience is very nice and the service is super nice.

Here, on Remembrance Day, we sang at the memorial memorial with the Liederkranz-Enzen-Hobbensen. We were then invited by the district administrator to the Paschenburg restaurant for coffee and cake. The stars 🌟 say it all.

The high expectations were in no way met. The food was overpriced and, except for the nice decoration, it was at canteen level. The highlight was that at 3 p.m. sharp in Jugendherbergston you were asked to finish your coffee quickly as the tables need to be re-set for dinner. I'll definitely never go there again

Food wasn't that good, I ordered fried halibut as stated on the menu, the menu on the internet said redfish fillet, noticed the difference straight away and for the price you can't do that with the guests, waited an hour for it and then didn't give it back when it was luke warm other local places where you can eat better

We were in the Paschenburg for the first time today. There was a very tasty 4-course menu. The food was consistent in terms of taste composition, quality and presentation. Price-performance was also completely fine. You sit comfortably with a fantastic view. The staff were attentive and friendly, we would be happy to come back.

We spontaneously went to the Paschenburg. The service was a bit stressed and therefore not so friendly. But not that bad. The food was very tasty, but the prices were below ground. Unfortunately far too expensive. Some guests were affected. But like I said, delicious.

A very manageable range of dishes, some of which are not at all convincing in terms of taste. The presentation does not at all meet the expectations that the price level would lead one to expect. Rump steak on a pile of tasteless green beans, only the potato gratin served with it was great. I don't understand what a braised snack tomato and a mini corn on the cob should say to the inedible red wine shallot. The veal liver was well fried but the presentation also had the appearance of canteen food. I can't understand why a 0.7 liter bottle of mineral water has to cost €8.50. The tables have neither a tablecloth nor placemats and the cutlery that is thrown together lies on the tables. My conclusion if you want something reasonable for the price you should stop a little further down in the restaurant. I definitely won't bother going up to Paschenburg anymore. My conclusion: due to the pricing of what we were served, the approach of an upscale restaurant unfortunately no longer corresponds to an average restaurant kitchen.

We went to the “culinary magic forest” event, which was organized together with the Schaumburger Ritter. From start to finish we were looked after and entertained, there were special culinary highlights, and the service team was very nice and attentive. The meeting point was the Pagenburg, from there we walked through the forest to the Schaumburger Ritter, the path was lined with culinary and entertainment stations, with magicians, fairies, storytellers and guitar duos, from starters, snacks, intermediate courses, main courses and dessert. If this event happens again, we will be there again and can only recommend it to everyone. Thanks for the great day!!!

One of the most beautiful restaurants in Schaumburger Land. Top view with high quality food. The staff is friendly and courteous. Just to enjoy.

We were often guests at the Paschenburg. The view and the winter garden are fantastic, we also celebrated our wedding there. The entire Paschenburg team is also responsible for making this day something very special for us. Due to the changing menu, there is always a new creation from the kitchen that we can enjoy. Both the food and the service correspond to the level of a luxury 5 star hotel!

Thank you for the nice break on our way to vacation. That worked well and started the vacation off really well! Amazing view, excellent cuisine, very nice and fast service! We were here on a Monday evening and I can only recommend it to everyone, whether as a couple or as a group, from the reception to the farewell it is a really nice atmosphere, a dream. The boss and his employees are absolutely polite, courteous, cheerful and infectiously very friendly. Plus the fantastic view over the Weserbergland and a menu presentation with incredible taste perfection: First of all, bread from the Scholz country bakery with herb butter, menu veal liver with vegetables on mashed potatoes, as dessert, a rhubarb cake. Once again a very special experience. We decided on the Paschenburg for a small celebration and don't regret it. Excellent food. Refined presentation with great attention to detail (as we all know, your eyes eat with you). Top in aroma and taste. The bosses have built a great team there. Very hard-working staff with great attention to detail. Example: Dishes are always served from the right. Our dear friend had also been given flowers and the innkeeper immediately came with a vase filled with water. There is a good spirit and good energy. With excellent food in good company and excellent service, your gaze will always wander far into the lovely Weser Valley. Thanks!

Yesterday I was in Paschenburg for the first time and it couldn't have been better. The food (especially the salmon tartare) was great. The entire team is super friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. I will definitely come back and can only recommend it. I was here for the second time today and it was just as great as last time. The food was great (Steven's large crème brûlée is particularly recommended). I am really excited. Thanks to the entire team!

We couldn't have wished for anything better for confirmation! We got a 4-course menu, everything was perfect, the chef's advice beforehand, the decorations on the tables were implemented as desired, the courses were visually and tastefully enjoyable, very accommodating, children were included (if there were alternatives to the ones chosen corridors are desired), helpful in unforeseeable events, and always to the satisfaction of the guest, who can feel like king! Wir haben anlässlich einer Familienfeier ein 4- Gänge-Menü bekommen, alles perfekt, im Vorfeld die Beratung durch den Koch, der eingedeckte Tisch, die Gänge optisch und geschmacklich ein Genuss, sehr zuvorkommend, Kinder mit einbezogen ( ob Alternativen zu den gewählten Gängen erwünscht sind), hilfsbereit bei unvorhersehbaren Ereignissen, und immer zur Zufriedenheit des Gastes, der sich als König fühlen darf! We were with 4 adults and a child - everything was excellent, great experience, great waiters, great view. Really highly recommended. Very child friendly

We had dinner at Paschenburg on a Thursday evening and it was a really nice experience from start to finish. We felt very welcome, the wait staff looked after us well and the food was a highlight. The plates were beautifully colorfully arranged, crunchy vegetables, perfect sauce, the meat was tender, the fish was juicy. We all went home very satisfied and with a good feeling in our stomachs.

Menu eaten, price-performance ratio very good, personal taste was particularly met with quail variations, as was the deer, which was perfectly "pink". The only thing that was a little too long for us was the waiting time in the sparsely busy restaurant, between courses, especially since we unfortunately weren't able to enjoy a large selection of wines/drinks for personal reasons. Neighboring tables that had several courses but probably not the menu received their courses a little quicker. Maybe this has something to do with the, for me, irritating period selection that you have to make when booking online. You should indicate how long you would like to stay. Since I find this difficult to plan, I specified the longest period of time so as not to have too short a time between courses or because we didn't even know what we wanted to order when we made the reservation (dish or menu). .

Went to dinner in the Paschenburg again on Saturday evening. Loving and warm welcome from the staff and the owners. As always, a very nice table and very nice and warm service. Food and drinks are of very, very high quality. The best thing is the flexible nature of the kitchen. No matter what request you express, they always find a solution. As always, the food was excellent and tasty. Just go there, it's really worth it. Very tasty cheese for dessert.
