Restaurant Oelder Brauhaus in Oelde

Immer bestens zufrieden gewesen. Bereits mehrfach dort gewesen (sowohl mittags als auch abends), immer lecker. Außerdem 7 Tage geöffnet und täglich auch mittags, das trifft nurnoch auf wenige Restaurants zu. Dieses Mal dachte ich mir, muss ich auch mal eine Bewertung schreiben. Die Karte ist sehr vielfältig. Essen (meiner Meinung nach besonders die Burger, der Rest aber auch) ist immer sehr lecker. Zudem gute Portionen. Außerdem modern eingerichtet, besonders gefallen mir die Würfel auf den Tischen, mit denen man sich über zwei verschiedene Knöpfe bemerkbar machen kann, wenn man ein Anliegen an den Service hat (Getränke nachbestellen z.B.) oder bezahlen möchte. Der Würfel leuchtet dann in verschiedenen Farben (je nachdem wo man drauf gedrückt hat) und zusätzlich bekommt das Personal eine kleine Info. Sehr einfache, intuitive Bedienung, meiner Meinung nach ein ziemlicher Pluspunkt. Alles entsprechendes Preissegment, aber Preis-Leistung ist absolut passend. Natürlich nicht ganz günstig, aber man bekommt hier eben auch keinen Fastfoodkettenburger sondern entsprechende Qualität. Preise sind absolut angemessen, nicht überteuert. Zusammengefasst sehr gutes Essen, super Service, super Restaurant.

Super Lage mitten in der Stadt. Geparkt haben wir an der Kirche, also 2 Minuten zu Fuß. Nettes rustikalen Ambiente mit sehr netter Bedienung. Bestellt hatten wir 3x Thaigerichte und 1x Wiener Schnitzel. Kam gleichzeitig nach guten 20 Minuten, also ging seehr flott! Alle 4 waren optisch und geschmacklich begeistert von den 4 verschiedenen Speisen, echt lecker! Der Kaiserschmarren war nix. Wir waren eigentlich sowieso schon satt, lach. Aber die Österreicher können den auf nem ganz anderen Niveau, sorry!

Über viele Jahre eine sehr solide Küche aufzustellen ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Wir sind in den vergangenen Jahren immer mal wieder hier gewesen und wurden nie enttäuscht.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, grosse Auswahl, lecker. 💯

Es ist ein sehr ruhiges und schönes Restaurant. Kulinarisch sehr empfehlenswert. Die Speisekarte ist sehr gut.

Wir hatten unsere Jahresauftaktveranstaltung im Oelder Brauhaus. Der Service ist dort sehr gut. Schon im Vorfeld, bei der Buchung hatte ich mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern Kontakt. Das Essen war klasse (großes asiatisches Buffet). Wir hatten dort einen tollen Abend. Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen bestimmt und gerne wieder.

Der letzte Laden kann ich niemanden empfehlen. Alle unfreundlich vom Chef bis zur Bedienung.

Tolles Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen und Getränken

Das Oelder Brauhaus bietet ein ansprechendes Ambiente und solide Brauhausküche. Die Speisen sind ordentlich zubereitet und geschmacklich gut, der Service ist freundlich und bemüht. Insgesamt erfüllt das Lokal viele Erwartungen an ein klassisches Brauhaus jedoch zusätzlich mit internationalem Einschlag ! Besonders nett ist der kleine Willkommensdrink der gleich sie Stimmung etwas hebt! Deutlich negativ fällt jedoch die ausschließlich bargeldlose Zahlung auf. Dass keine Barzahlung akzeptiert wird, ist gerade für ein traditionelles Brauhaus ungewöhnlich und für viele Gäste unpraktisch. Besonders ältere Gäste oder Besucher, die bewusst bar zahlen möchten, werden dadurch ausgeschlossen. Qualität und Atmosphäre stimmen, die strikte Bargeldablehnung hinterlässt jedoch einen unnötig schlechten Eindruck und schmälert für uns das Gesamterlebnis.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war sehr gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank!

Ich war dort mit meiner Abschlussklasse zum Essen. Es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Thai Curry war wirklich gut. Man kann es sogar bei Bedarf schärfer machen lassen. Bis 3 Millionen Scoville. Aber nur auf Anfrage. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Hatte einen Tisch für 11 Personen reserviert. Essen kam für alle fast gleichzeitig, Service war sehr gut und die Burger wurde von allen als echt lecker beschrieben. Gerne wieder und zu empfehlen 👍👍

Ich war im Sommer in diesem Restaurant. Das Steak war gefroren. Die Schüssel war in Teriyaki-Sauce ertränkt und viel zu salzig. Der Service war okay. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist deprimierend. Das Steak war eines der schlechtesten, die ich je gegessen habe. Bei diesen Preisen würde ich es auf keinen Fall empfehlen.

Das Lokal wirkt schon von außen charmant und einladend – und die große Terrasse direkt in der Stadt mit Blick auf die Kirche ist einfach wunderschön. Perfekt für gemütliche Stunden draußen. Innen ist das Ambiente warm, modern und sehr gepflegt. Der Service ist super freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell – hier fühlt man sich sofort wohl. Ein echtes Highlight war der Bauernsalat: riesige Portion, extrem frisch, bunt, perfekt abgestimmt und richtig lecker – mit Garnelen, knackigem Gemüse, Mozzarella, Croutons und vielen frischen Zutaten. Absolute Empfehlung! Ein kleines, aber sehr angenehmes Detail: Auf dem WC steht sogar Deo bereit – falls man sich kurz frisch machen möchte. 😊🥰 Solche Kleinigkeiten zeigen, wie viel Wert hier auf Komfort und Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Für mich ganz klar: 5 Sterne – tolles Essen, tolles Ambiente, tolle Location. Ich komme definitiv wieder! 🙌😊

Das Essen meines Mannes war super...der Service TOP...Ambiente prima...mein Flammkuchen mit Lachs war leider ein Fertigprodukt, welches etwas nachgewürzt und mit Kresse aufgehübscht wurde. Im Nachhinein fiel mir auf, dass ich den gleichen in einem Restaurant in Beckum serviert bekam.

Wir waren am Sonntag Abend da. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Das Personal war nett und freundlich das Ambiente angenehm. Meine Tochter hatte den Frauenversteher unser Sohnemann Nuggets und Pommes, ich selber den Krossen Burger. Wir hatten an diesem Abend sehr nette Sitznachbarn mit denen wir uns auch gut verstanden haben. Das Personal erfüllte uns auch kleine Sonderwünsche. Das man nur bargeldlos bezahlen kann steht überall dran und ich finde es super. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

In my opinion, nothing better could happen to a resident of Oelde than eating here. I went twice. Everything was delicious. I didn't try any of the Thai dishes. Cash payments aren't accepted. I personally think it's great that everything is paid for by card, including tips.

I was at the Oelder Brauhaus four years ago, and I wasn't particularly satisfied, but last night completely changed my opinion of the place. We had a small company party there, and everyone was very satisfied. The staff were all very competent, friendly, and courteous, and seemed very motivated and cheerful, which isn't often the case in the restaurant industry these days. We all found the menu a bit confusing, but after a few initial hiccups, we all found something to suit our taste. There's a wide selection of dishes, so there's something for everyone. For a small starter, we ordered two vegetarian tarte flambées with salmon; they were truly delicious, super crispy, and the toppings were perfectly seasoned. The main courses arrived quickly and beautifully presented. We were a fairly large group of 12 people, and we ordered many different dishes, and everyone was truly satisfied without exception. The quality of the food is truly high-quality and well-priced. I personally ate the Wiener Schnitzel and recommend everyone to try it at the Brauhaus. The veal was very tender, very thin, yet juicy, served with trimmed capers and, of course, anchovies. All in all, it was truly super delicious. A baked potato with it was almost too much, but also very tasty. The restaurant staff heard that my team had congratulated me on my birthday, so they treated me to a warm chocolate cake, which was incredibly thoughtful and very surprising. My conclusion: The first impression from four years ago is completely forgotten after last night. The food, ambiance, and staff were absolutely top-notch! I will definitely be back, and we would also love to host our next company party at the Oelder Brauhaus. Thank you for the delicious evening and attentive service.

In short: For just under €94 for two people, I expected considerably more. I'd rather add €20 and go to Ferdinand, Kampwirth, or Nuro – they offer the perfect package. Unfortunately, not here. If you have big marketing, you have to deliver – and that wasn't the case here. I'd like to highlight the friendly service staff and my appetizer soup, which was the most convincing. • Beef soup "Asian style": Unfortunately, the taste was more like a classic beef broth, just "dressed up" with a bit of Asian spice. A proper approach with, for example, lemongrass, ginger, and beef bones would certainly have made a better impression. The long, tagliatelle-like strips of beef were also impractical for spooning. • Veal schnitzel: Solid, but nothing special. Side dishes (fries for €6!) were unfortunately almost cold. • Burger: A disappointment. The meat looked like cheap discount store mince, gray and overcooked. I should have saved myself the extra patty, which cost almost €10. I deliberately left out the side dishes – the value for money just wasn't right. For comparison: Check out the burgers at the Canadian Hut – you get better meat and honest quality for significantly less money. So it's possible without exorbitant prices. Conclusion: Price-wise, it's on the upscale side, but the taste and quality aren't convincing. It's a shame, I was hoping for a new alternative in Oelde – so I'll stick with Zelic.

A visit to the Oelder Brauhaus is, for me, not only culinary but, above all, sociopolitically unacceptable. The menu itself is a prime example of sexism and toxic masculinity constructs: a burger called "Frauenversteher" (Women's Understander) or spice levels categorized as "for boys," "for men," and "for heroes" perpetuate outdated gender stereotypes and promote an anti-feminist climate. Given the exorbitant prices (€16 for a salad plus €11 for chicken), I canceled my drink and left the restaurant. A subsequent look at the Instagram channel reinforced my impression: sexualized, ableist, and inflammatory content, deliberately designed to provoke and maximize reach, conveys a clear ideological message. For me, this borders on the normalization of discriminatory narratives and the trivialization of extremist rhetoric. My conclusion: Anyone who stands for diversity, equality, and democratic values ​​should not offer this place a platform or economic support.

I can't comment on the food. We always enjoyed going there in the summer mornings during the weekly market. The cappuccino is very small, however, and not cheap. My biggest criticism: You never know when they're open. The times on the poster are different from those on the internet. However, both times are different from reality. In the past, it was difficult to get a seat outside. When they're open, it's no longer a problem these days. That's something to think about. What I really like: they don't accept cash payments. But that's sometimes controversial with older people.

We sat outside, and it was quite "dirty," to use that Westphalian term. Leaves, plastic, etc. were lying around. The restrooms are completely 70s, clean, and almost "cult" again. The prices are exorbitant and unreasonable; around €6.20 for a large Coke or around €26 for a salad with chicken breast strips is pretty darn expensive for Oelde and the ambiance... We then had a burger for around €16 - and it was great and worth the price...

The Oelde Brauhaus is a very, very good restaurant. Everything is perfect from start to finish. The products are fresh and made with love. You can tell with every spoonful, which is always full of enjoyment. The price/performance ratio is commensurate with the quality of the food. We always look forward to the Oelde Brauhaus.

They make fun of people with gluten intolerance. As someone with celiac disease, it's very painful for me to see something like that.

We stumbled upon this place by chance the first time. But we've been completely thrilled ever since. The food is delicious, every server in the shop is very friendly without being overbearing, and the ambiance is simple and modern, well located in the city center. We saw it on TikTok and went there on vacation. The burger and bowl were delicious. The atmosphere was very nice, and they immediately gave our little one crayons and paper to color on. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to stop by again.

Rarely seen such a good restaurant

The brewery's advertising depicts violent, aggressive, or antisocial behavior. There's no response to criticism. I therefore decided not to visit.

Top restaurant. Delicious food, cold beer—what more could you want? They even have toiletries for women, including deodorant and hairspray, and for men, deodorant and hairspray. Some people have said the restaurant is misogynistic because of its advertising, but this cannot be confirmed. A clear recommendation, and the menu offers a good selection of food and drinks.

We had a wonderful stay there! A very friendly team with a great sense of humor looked after us (6 people) and catered for us. We would definitely go back!

It was delicious again! The service was amazing, and the pleasant conversation with the attentive waitress was, as always, cheerful and refreshing. The service was friendly and attentive. The food, however, was really bad. We ordered six different dinners, two of which were for the kids. A kids' burger for €12.90 without a side dish is simply excessive in my opinion. The other dinners could have been improved in terms of quality and preparation. Even side dishes like the sweet potato fries were soggy and not really edible. The dips we ordered either tasted like mayo or not what they were supposed to be. Sorry, but for the money, it just wasn't good enough.

We've been satisfied regular guests for a long time. Now, in mid-April, we were looking for a caterer for a large event in our community and chose the Brauhaus. We were extremely satisfied with the planning, ideas, implementation, delivery, and price. The Brauhaus also offers catering. Thanks to the entire team.

After hiking 30km in the Stromberg Switzerland region, we stopped here yesterday rather spontaneously. Spontaneously, because we didn't know exactly when our hike would end, we tried to book a table at 5:15 PM using the online form, but the form said: No.... ;) We could have called, but we didn't, so we just drove there spontaneously. Shortly after 6:00 PM, we were warmly greeted at the entrance and immediately assigned a nice table. This was despite the fact that the place was already quite full on a holiday. Shortly afterward, we received a small welcome drink, what a surprise, it was delicious. After browsing through the somewhat amusing menu, we ordered burgers (I had the Asian Gourmet) with sweet potato fries, chili mayo, and whiskey ketchup. It sounds strange, but the whiskey ketchup was the highlight of the whole experience for me, although that's really unfair compared to the delicious burger and the perfect sweet potato fries. ;-) All in all, a great way to end Father's Day.

Nice atmosphere with relaxed service and delicious food! There's a house drink at the beginning and end of the meal! Very tasty :) I also highly recommend the cappuccino from the portafilter machine.

I can't quite understand why some people are giving such bad reviews here, even though they weren't even there. Personally, I find the marketing quite funny and don't understand how anyone could make a problem out of it. If it had been a man instead of the woman, everyone would have found it funny, too. Some people seem to be going to the basement to laugh 😌

We were at Potts in our RV and couldn't find a place to eat there. So we quickly reserved a spot online at the Oelder Brauhaus. We had a truly delicious meal there. I had a bowl, my husband a real Wiener Schnitzel. Delicious, fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a free welcome drink and nightcap. The rest of my "giant bowl" was kindly packed in a cardboard box for takeaway, and it was still delicious the next day. We would come back again and again.

I haven't been there yet, but I'll be back soon. Just because of the really cool TikToks! If the food is anything like the commercials, it's going to be amazing!

I want to use this review to draw attention to the marketing strategy: Aif TikTok uploaded a video of the restaurant in which a woman is drugged as a marketing gimmick and then used like a puppet. The message is that people "like" coming to the restaurant. In times when women are murdered daily and suffer from constant physical and psychological violence, I find this type of advertising deeply tasteless and ill-conceived. For every woman who has experienced violence at the hands of men, this advertisement will be a slap in the face and shows how uneducated society is about such issues.
