Restaurant Oelder Brauhaus in Oelde

There were three of us and we all enjoyed it very much. Service very nice and attentive.

We were given a small cocktail right at the start and were pleasantly surprised. The card reads with a smile on your face & you did a great job. The duck leg was a dream with delicious 😋 sauce. The sea bream / sea bream cooked to perfection. This makes it easy to tackle the journey home, well strengthened and feeling comfortable.

Food was very good. Service very nice. Too many different directions on the map for me. (Thai, burgers, steak, Vietnamese, bowls, tarte flambée, home cooking) That didn't make the decision easy for us/slightly overwhelming😄 For us, less would be more but the concept seems to work 👍

I came across the brewery by chance and was immediately amazed by the delicious food! A very, very wide menu, Thai, steaks, burgers, vegan, vegetarian, fish, salads, no wish remains unfulfilled! I drank non-alcoholic Pott's beer, delicious with its very own Herbert touch! I like the atmosphere, the staff is nice and quick! It's a shame that it's 175 km away from OL, otherwise I would be a regular!!

My girlfriend and I had a great evening at the brewery. The food is excellent, the portions are almost impossible for normal eaters :-) But we particularly liked the great service. All of our wishes and my special situation were responded to perfectly. I have some food intolerances and mentioned this when making the reservation. When ordering, careful attention was paid to ensuring that none of this food was included in my meal or that a suitable alternative was offered. We can highly recommend the brewery and are already looking forward to our next visit.

We ended up here spontaneously and were amazed when we saw the map. This really has nothing to do with Brauhaus anymore, in a positive sense! I chose the Phuket duck and I have to say, the dish is a poem! :D In short, if you want to try something new, you won't be disappointed here!

Overall, the four of us had a lovely evening. The Asian dishes were bomb. I had dry aged entrecote. Unfortunately that was really bad. Since I make dry age steaks myself, I have to say that the quality was poor but it was more expensive. Regardless, the evening was lovely and Lilly from the service was very attentive.

I tried the tartare and beef carpaccio as a starter here and both were great. The fried capers were awesome. I also had a Brauhaus bacon burger that was nice and juicy because the meat was fried medium or medium well and my wife had a thick fillet steak that was perfectly cooked medium, which isn't that easy with a piece of meat about 5 cm thick. The quality of all the dishes is relatively high, which is clearly “tasty” and fully justifies the prices. Decent portions and overall very cheap. Service was great with these order cubes. This was certainly not my last visit.

Good morning, You can sit outside and drink coffee or a beer. I deducted one star because cash payment is not possible here. Nevertheless, the brewery is definitely worth a visit!

We were booked through our hotel for the fair Saturday at 6 p.m. If we had come that way we would have gone straight to looking at prices. 18.90 fake Wiener Schnitzel (veal 23.90), 5.90 fries (more on that in a moment)...and 1.60!!! For a dollop of mayo. The other dishes accordingly. Fries...a small bowl with (in our opinion not homemade) 2/3 hard something fried in older fat. When I asked that they were old, hard and not pretty, I was told that the chef would be “informed”. We would have expected to get new, perfect ones... nothing.! When paying, the fries were mentioned again...no discount, the chef would be informed again. If this restaurant places so much emphasis on quality and justifies the prices, I can unfortunately only give it 2 stars. The staff was friendly, neatly dressed, atmosphere OK. Prices, size/quantity of dishes, well. Quality in individual cases?! bad, really bad. On-site improvement upon request...as described. Once, never again

It was great. I loved the beer and the food.

1. Please note that cash is not accepted here, so only cash payments. This even contradicts EU law if card payment was not clearly agreed with the guest before ordering. A small note on the table pictures is not enough. Note to the owners of the restaurant here, something should definitely be changed immediately regarding the payment conditions. Hopefully this will get a reprimand from the Oelde public order office!!! 2. Be careful, the prices here are completely overpriced, e.g. portion of mayon. €1.60 - fries €5.80!!! That's what I call exorbitant prices!! 3. Those who don't have or can't get a card to pay should keep a long distance here. That is probably an exclusion that is not permitted by law.

Because of the many positive reviews, I went to the brewery for dinner with my husband today. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The welcome drink was delicious and refreshing. The burger was unfortunately disappointing: the patty was poorly seasoned and unfortunately not very hot. The sweet potato fries were ok and plentiful. To compensate for the not so hot food, we got a house espresso. Conclusion: it was ok but nothing special.

Nice location, with an unusual menu. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. But also burgers and meat, vegan food of the highest quality. Very nice customer-oriented service. There is a small welcome drink, very tasty. Finally, a glass of frothed milk with Baileys.

For the first time in the brewery. Definitely not for the last time :) It's cool when you can order roast pork with potato salad and an Ono Bowl (which was excellent by the way!) at the same table! Child-friendly, great service, very good cuisine. Highly recommended!

We had dinner here on Sunday. The concept fits, old restaurant with a young flair. I think it's very good that people use the same name here and can only pay by card. The service is super friendly. The dishes are rich and of a very good size. Everything is fresh, the burgers are cooked to perfection. The only thing I find a bit “too much” are the prices for the side dishes and drinks. That's why not the full star rating. But if someone wants to eat well, this is the place to be.

We were there on Saturday and everything was fine for us. Very, very nice and attentive staff. Food was great 👌 All 9 dishes came almost at the same time so we could actually eat together. So we'll be back!

The food was probably bad because I got the stomach flu the next day. Price performance not justified at all. You order a burger for just under €16, fries for €5.90 and you also have to pay for ketchup or mayonnaise for €1.60, so without a drink you will be treated to burnt meat for around €25. As a starter you are given a few baguette rolls, which we forgot, only when we paid attention, about 2 minutes before the real meal was served. The meat was completely burnt because we asked that the meat be cooked through, but not BURNED! In the end, a price reduction won't help if you get sick the next day! Been there for the first and last time! The abolition of cash is definitely supported there, which is very annoying. If someone goes out to eat, you also have to be able to pay for the food in cash, which is not possible there!

The food was okay BUT and now comes the big but, this quality, which is constantly mentioned here by the nice operator - who reacts to criticism like a little stroppy child - is not present here. A kilo of chicken costs €10 max. for 200g. To charge 11€. Cheeky ! I can even get it cheaper in Hamburg. Well, I personally can't recommend it. Gladly not again.

Has nothing to do with a brewery anymore. Instead there are bowls and burgers. Good quantities. You have to like it. Very young, friendly service. What is not possible is that no cash is accepted. People there probably don't know yet that they are contributing to the abolition of cash, which will then make us fully monitorable. So I won't go there anymore.

Chip shop 3.0 Overpriced, food tastes okay. Nice location but ugly furnishings. Annoying music and the staff in general make it far too loud in the store, very disturbing.

Das Angebot ist vielfältig und der Service gut und sehr aufmerksam. Die Portionen waren gut und schon sehr groß. Preislich fand ich die Preise eher schon hoch Burger und Bier > 30€ . Zudem bin ich Geschmacklich nicht ganz zufrieden gewesen auch angesichts des Preises.

Food was good, but priced way up. 5.90€ for a side of fries and 1.60€!!!! for a dollop of mayo? The fact that only card payments are possible is certainly easy for the operator, but not customer-friendly. And the "straw" straw in the cocktail may be very trendy, but 100% impractical, I think there are better alternatives. It was a nice evening, but it will probably remain a one-off event.

Nice decor and friendly service, really good! The food - we had burgers with fresh salad etc - was good in terms of portion size and taste. BUT: The prices are really completely outrageous, because this is a brewery and not a 4-star restaurant: A bottle of water (0.66 liters) for €7.50 A scoop of ice cream for just under €3 A salad for 17 € and if you want to have chicken on it, for example, that adds another 11 €. Yes, energy, staff, meat, etc. have become more expensive, but in our opinion these prices are totally excessive for the service and food on offer. We would have liked to come back, but this will be our first and last visit.

The food was delicious, that's all in advance. Overall, a brewery with the prices of an upscale restaurant. Dessert for €12.90. Prices overall are also completely exorbitant. The menu is a mix of Asian, burgers and home cooking. Overall, unfortunately only 3/5 points.

We had our Christmas dinner here from the office. We didn't like the food or the service. We were seated in a secluded back corner, where we had the feeling of being completely isolated from the rest. Rarely, rather after walking behind and calling, one of the service people came to take orders. Accordingly, I cannot recommend this restaurant

The food is really delicious. The service, well, we didn't see the staff often and around half past nine they gave us the feeling that we would like to leave. Overall it was quite cold, but the interior was comfortable.

Very good food and a really great selection. Of course it's not necessarily the cheapest restaurant, but you definitely get something for your money. Fresh, delicious food, great staff, great service and chic furnishings. I'm happy to pay for the taste, the freshness and the variety. What I also think is good is that you can only pay by card.

Wrong concept in the right place. The traditional Oelder Brauhaus is in a great location, right on the square with the large church. That's why we're there, we stopped by for lunch in Oelde to visit. Unfortunately, this convenience store concept, a little bit of everything, is not at all suitable for the location. The menu, poorly copied sheets of paper on a clipboard in a 90s layout, the dishes are a simple search game, and the prices are completely incomprehensible (10.50 for tofu?). Nothing against diversity. but a smaller card, with quality, would probably be a better approach.

Der Abend im Oelder Brauhaus hat uns nicht nur mit der freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Bedienung von Joel und Mia überzeugt, sondern als digital affine Persönlichkeiten haben wir uns im deutschen Raum endlich im 21. Jahrhundert angekommen gefühlt.. warum?.. Dieses Restaurant akzeptiert ausschließlich nur "bargeldloses Bezahlen"! Die Burger, die wir hatten, waren auch unfassbar lecker! Das Gesamtkonzept des Restaurants ist mutig, entschlossen und für jede Altersklasse ausgelegt. Wir empfehlen das Oelder Brauhaus mit gutem Gewissen weiter und bedanken uns für den schönen Abend!

Speisekarte auf Klemmbrett überladen und z.T. nicht bestellbar. Hinweis auf stumpfe Steakmesser wurde ignoriert. Steaks schlecht gebraten, Ofenkartoffel war keine. Preis/Leistung schlecht!

Es war ein super Abend mit meinen Freunden gut gelegenes Lokal mit schickem Ambiente der Service großes Lob ans Team und Joel der überwiegend bei uns war es war einfach super genauso wie das wunderbare Essen empfehle es definitiv weiter bis zum nächstenmal.

Also ich dachte erst beim Blick in die Speisekarte, dass das Essen doch verhältnismäßig teuer ist, aber es war wirklich, wirklich, sehr sehr sehr lecker und dann im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis doch angemessen. Der Service war top! Joel hat das hervorragend gemacht, wirklich prima. Wir kommen wieder und haben direkt weiterempfohlen.

Guter Service, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Das Essen war okay bis lecker, teilweise unserer Meinung nach preislich nicht gerechtfertigt. Ein kleiner, gratinierter Ziegenkäse schön angerichtet als Vorspeise für 14€ viel zu teuer. Ein frischer Salat mit zusätzlich Rinderfiletspitzen knapp 28€. Viel zu teuer!!! Ein klassischer Burger hingegen ca. 14 €. Passt nicht zusammen. Sie haben die Desserts vergessen, als Entschädigung gab es die letzte Runde Getränke aufs Haus - sehr zuvorkommend. Und die Speisekarte ist viel zu groß, man hat ewig gebraucht um überhaupt erstmal zu wissen was es alles gibt. Ambiente ok. Sie geben sich Mühe, aber es sind viel zu viele Stile gemischt.

Mein Essen (grünes Curry) war sehr lecker, süffiges Oelder Bier. Sehr netter, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Lockere Atmosphäre. Also ich kann nicht meckern, Preis und Leistung haben gepasst!

Bürger war zu trocken. Mayonnaise schmeckte zu sehr nach Zimt.

Best burgers in town 🤩 inkl. Salate und Beilagen. Der Gnadenlose ist mein Favorit! Aber auch die ONO Bowls sind immer wieder super als Lunch. Alles auch zum mitnehmen 🤗

Wir haben ausgezeichnet gespeist. Vom Wiener Schnitzel bis zum Rumpsteak war alles vorzüglich. Die einzelnen zusätzlich bestellten Beilagen waren wirklich zu reichlich, sodass wir leider nicht alles schaffen konnten. Schade, so musste der Nachtisch ausfallen. Also Achtung, eine Beilage reicht für 2 Personen! Trotzdem war alles sehr lecker!
