Restaurant Oelder Brauhaus in Oelde

The service was friendly and attentive. The food, however, was really bad. We ordered six different dinners, two of which were for the kids. A kids' burger for €12.90 without a side dish is simply excessive in my opinion. The other dinners could have been improved in terms of quality and preparation. Even side dishes like the sweet potato fries were soggy and not really edible. The dips we ordered either tasted like mayo or not what they were supposed to be. Sorry, but for the money, it just wasn't good enough.

We've been satisfied regular guests for a long time. Now, in mid-April, we were looking for a caterer for a large event in our community and chose the Brauhaus. We were extremely satisfied with the planning, ideas, implementation, delivery, and price. The Brauhaus also offers catering. Thanks to the entire team.

After hiking 30km in the Stromberg Switzerland region, we stopped here yesterday rather spontaneously. Spontaneously, because we didn't know exactly when our hike would end, we tried to book a table at 5:15 PM using the online form, but the form said: No.... ;) We could have called, but we didn't, so we just drove there spontaneously. Shortly after 6:00 PM, we were warmly greeted at the entrance and immediately assigned a nice table. This was despite the fact that the place was already quite full on a holiday. Shortly afterward, we received a small welcome drink, what a surprise, it was delicious. After browsing through the somewhat amusing menu, we ordered burgers (I had the Asian Gourmet) with sweet potato fries, chili mayo, and whiskey ketchup. It sounds strange, but the whiskey ketchup was the highlight of the whole experience for me, although that's really unfair compared to the delicious burger and the perfect sweet potato fries. ;-) All in all, a great way to end Father's Day.

Nice atmosphere with relaxed service and delicious food! There's a house drink at the beginning and end of the meal! Very tasty :) I also highly recommend the cappuccino from the portafilter machine.

Rarely have I seen more tasteless marketing. Perverse, misogynistic, and shameless. It's not worth supporting, and it's clearly not a safe place for young women.

I can't quite understand why some people are giving such bad reviews here, even though they weren't even there. Personally, I find the marketing quite funny and don't understand how anyone could make a problem out of it. If it had been a man instead of the woman, everyone would have found it funny, too. Some people seem to be going to the basement to laugh 😌

We were at Potts in our RV and couldn't find a place to eat there. So we quickly reserved a spot online at the Oelder Brauhaus. We had a truly delicious meal there. I had a bowl, my husband a real Wiener Schnitzel. Delicious, fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a free welcome drink and nightcap. The rest of my "giant bowl" was kindly packed in a cardboard box for takeaway, and it was still delicious the next day. We would come back again and again.

I haven't been there yet, but I'll be back soon. Just because of the really cool TikToks! If the food is anything like the commercials, it's going to be amazing!

Bad food, bad service, and even worse cleanliness

Top-notch service – as always. I've been coming here irregularly for several years and have never been disappointed. Whether it's a burger, bowl, or curry – the food is always top-notch, and the staff is friendly and attentive. A constant source of good food.

This review has nothing to do with the food, service, or location! I want to use this review to draw attention to the marketing strategy: Aif TikTok uploaded a video of the restaurant in which a woman is drugged as a marketing gimmick and then used like a puppet. The message is that people "like" coming to the restaurant. In times when women are murdered daily and suffer from constant physical and psychological violence, I find this type of advertising deeply tasteless and ill-conceived. For every woman who has experienced violence at the hands of men, this advertisement will be a slap in the face and shows how uneducated society is about such issues. I ask that we remove the video from social media platforms. Use humor that is non-violent, regardless of gender. Thank you, Klemens K.

First of all, the service: super nice and helpful waitress and fun for everyone. When eating out, the biggest “problem” is deciding from the selection on the menu. I would have liked to have taken everything but I will come back. The quality, taste and quantity were each 5 stars. The location was absolutely great with the outdoor area and the view of the market square in great weather. Definitely an absolute recommendation for every visitor

We are regular guests and enjoy every time. From burgers to steaks to Asian food, everything is on offer. The service is always very courteous and you feel very comfortable.

The food is always delicious and you just feel full every time. The waitresses are all very personable and often have a relaxed saying on their lips. So a nice evening is always guaranteed.

Waren zu 6. 5 hatten Burger, 1 Salat. Mein Pullet Pork Burger war gut. Der Inhalt auf jeden Fall, der Bun leider nicht gut. Wenn er unten pappig wird nicht schlimm,das passiert bei der Füllung. Der Deckel war leider zäh. Die anderen Burger waren gut, der Crosse aber leider auch sehr trocken. Die Preise für Mayo etc. finde ich persönlich völlig übertrieben. Der Service ist allerdings echt gut und sehr nett.

The food is simply fantastic and sooooo delicious. Everything is so fresh, you have the feeling that it comes fresh from the market straight into the pan, whether it's vegetables, meat, punch, just everything. It's very cozy there, great atmosphere, nice view of the market square etc. Again at any time!

We had lunch at the brewery today, and I have to say the food was really tasty, and the lady who took the order was very nice, friendly and competent. I can't understand some of the comments that the quantity is too small. I manage to get rid of something while eating and I was completely full.👍👍👍👍👍 We will definitely come back👍

Food 3 to 4 stars: There are a few classics on the menu that are always good. However, there are days when the burger tastes and smells like old fat. I would describe the atypical dishes and special promotions as a failure. Service: 3 to 5 stars, depending on which service person you get. Owner and experienced staff always top. Inexperienced staff sometimes a bit overwhelmed and unprofessional. Ambiance: Excellent inside and outside. I'll leave the back room out of the review because it's hardly used. Overall 3 to 4 stars because you have to have a good day for everything to go perfectly.

Really fine restaurant! It's not a classic brewery, but rather a brewery plus, because instead of hearty home cooking, which a brewery would suggest, you'll find burgers, steak and Thai here! Important note: you can only pay by card. But it's everywhere! The service is very nice, the orders come quickly and everything about the food is as expected. We'd love to come back!

A pleasant surprise was the non-alcoholic welcome drink made from ginger ale and limes, which sweetened the start of our culinary experience. After a perfectly acceptable waiting time of around 25 minutes, our dishes were served - visually appealing and tasted to the point. Everything was excellently seasoned and showed high quality and care in the preparation. A particularly funny detail was the small lamp on the table, which allowed you to discreetly call service - a charming and practical idea. Overall, our visit to the Oelde brewery was a complete success. The combination of friendly service, delicious food and thoughtful details makes this restaurant highly recommended. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Das Servicepersonal war überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und sorgte dafür, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlten. Eine angenehme Überraschung war der alkoholfreie Willkommensdrink aus Ginger Ale und Limes, der uns den Start ins kulinarische Erlebnis versüßte. Nach einer vollkommen akzeptablen Wartezeit von etwa 25 Minuten wurden unsere Gerichte serviert – optisch ansprechend und geschmacklich auf den Punkt. Alles war hervorragend abgeschmeckt und zeugte von hoher Qualität und Sorgfalt in der Zubereitung. Ein besonders witziges Detail war die kleine Leuchte auf dem Tisch, mit der man den Service diskret rufen konnte – eine charmante und praktische Idee. The restaurant has nothing to do with a brewery. When Thai meets burger = disaster. We were so disappointed with the food and we also had gastrointestinal problems the next day. The meat was mixed with some Thai spices to form a salty paste and served as a burger. Three stars only for the friendly staff, otherwise it was our first and last time there.

We were given a small cocktail right at the start and were pleasantly surprised. The card reads with a smile on your face & you did a great job. The duck leg was a dream with delicious 😋 sauce. The sea bream / sea bream cooked to perfection. This makes it easy to tackle the journey home, well strengthened and feeling comfortable.

I came across the brewery by chance and was immediately amazed by the delicious food! A very, very wide menu, Thai, steaks, burgers, vegan, vegetarian, fish, salads, no wish remains unfulfilled! I drank non-alcoholic Pott's beer, delicious with its very own Herbert touch! I like the atmosphere, the staff is nice and quick! It's a shame that it's 175 km away from OL, otherwise I would be a regular!!

My girlfriend and I had a great evening at the brewery. The food is excellent, the portions are almost impossible for normal eaters :-) But we particularly liked the great service. All of our wishes and my special situation were responded to perfectly. I have some food intolerances and mentioned this when making the reservation. When ordering, careful attention was paid to ensuring that none of this food was included in my meal or that a suitable alternative was offered. We can highly recommend the brewery and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Overall, the four of us had a lovely evening. The Asian dishes were bomb. I had dry aged entrecote. Unfortunately that was really bad. Since I make dry age steaks myself, I have to say that the quality was poor but it was more expensive. Regardless, the evening was lovely and Lilly from the service was very attentive.

I tried the tartare and beef carpaccio as a starter here and both were great. The fried capers were awesome. I also had a Brauhaus bacon burger that was nice and juicy because the meat was fried medium or medium well and my wife had a thick fillet steak that was perfectly cooked medium, which isn't that easy with a piece of meat about 5 cm thick. The quality of all the dishes is relatively high, which is clearly “tasty” and fully justifies the prices. Decent portions and overall very cheap. Service was great with these order cubes. This was certainly not my last visit.
