The decor looks a bit dated. I recommend the fried noodles. There's a football game tonight, but the dining environment is quite quiet.

We've tried many buffet restaurants of this type, and we were absolutely thrilled with this one. The food was excellent—fresh, hot, and delicious. The selection was good for a lunch buffet, with all the typical items. We'd definitely visit again, as we've heard there's a larger or different selection available in the evenings. The service was a bit slow and reserved. Perhaps that was due to the restaurant being full later on?

The "New Garden Duck" was dry and tough; the skin was flabby. Far from crispy. Even the good service couldn't save this terrible meal. That's the only reason it gets a second star. Since this has now happened repeatedly: Goodbye, New Garden! What a shame.

Of the original 4 stars (7 years ago), only one remains. After being there again today, I'm revising this. My dears, this was nothing. The food was bland, the raw meat for the show cooking already had gray spots, and the pork smelled pungent. This wasn't the first time, by the way; I just hoped it was an exception, but no, the meat was definitely "off." The plates are worn, the cutlery covered in water stains. The decor is slowly giving up. Next to our table, Plexiglas panels were attached to separate us from the neighboring row – glued on. It looks really disgusting. The staff is attentive, but somehow not particularly friendly, if I'm honest. Show cooking? Well... When you hand over your plate there, you get yelled at because you forgot to clip the disgusting clip with the table number to your plate. Are they ever washed? It really shook me up. After that, you have to return to your table; no show. Just obey. In the past, you were "allowed" to wait and watch. That's what I mean by show cooking, not a grumpy chef who wants to get rid of you as quickly as possible. We didn't feel comfortable; a friendly smile now and then wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings. What a shame about all the money we spent there.

It's a large hall, and in the colder months, you should dress warmly, otherwise it can get chilly. The food is okay. Sometimes some things aren't as tasty, like the completely burnt and hard fries, or the undercooked baked fish. You have to be careful what you order. Live cooking is rather disappointing. I don't fill a plate with everything jumbled together, but rather place small portions separately. What comes back is a plate with everything thrown haphazardly. Eating is a visual experience, too! Especially when it's quiet, it could be presented more beautifully. Dessert is a matter of taste. Lots of fruit, which I'm not a fan of. Tiny pieces of cake, two varieties, and ice cream. No whipped cream with the ice cream. I'd like more here. The staff is neither friendly nor unfriendly. As it gets closer to closing time, they sometimes simply pull the plate away.

Large portions, friendly service, and decent value for money! The buffet is also recommended. The round table is fantastic for larger groups!

The soup tasted like someone had added tap water. The buffet was practically empty, even though it was almost 6:00 PM. When we opened the meat and fish cover, it smelled terrible. They'll never see us there again!!! For €65, it's better to buy fresh produce at EDEKA and eat at home.

I'd like to write something now. We were there last night at 8:30 p.m. to eat at the buffet. So we went in, and it really wasn't that busy anymore. So we asked if the buffet was still possible. The employee gave a clear answer: "No problem, I'd be happy to." And then it began. The sauce ladles had thick crusts on them. I then spoke up very politely. It was late, it can happen. It was noted but ignored. And then it was time to eat. Pretty much everything was gone, and what was left wasn't exactly fresh, but still tasty. The boss must have seen my disappointed face and offered to make me something else if I wanted. I gladly accepted and asked for broccoli in sauce. It arrived promptly, fresh, hot, and hard. And way too much for two. But we really didn't want to have something made for us every bite. And that's what a buffet is all about: trying something new every time. On top of that, cleaning started at 9:00, all the notes with descriptions were put away, and the kitchen was already closed for fresh food preparation. When paying (€60.40 for two), we gave the manager the opportunity to accommodate us. Unfortunately, he wasn't interested and started talking about us in Asian slang. Absolutely unacceptable. Sorry. I also made that clear. Unfortunately, we didn't experience any Asian friendliness yesterday. Conclusion: Unfortunately, it's getting worse every time, and that's for the price.

There's also a wide selection of freshly prepared ingredients, but the selection is average—definitely tasty, but neither particularly positive nor negative. The dessert selection is very good; overall, we were very satisfied with our visit. Drink prices, however, are on the higher side at €5.20 for a 0.5l Coke. There's plenty of parking (at least when there aren't any events going on in the stadium next door), and the staff were very attentive and friendly.

I ordered a takeaway dish from New Garden Restaurant: rice with chicken, vegetables and peanut sauce. The taste was really good - the chicken was tender, the vegetables were crunchy and the peanut sauce was nice and flavorful without being too heavy. The portion was absolutely sufficient and packaged in a visually appealing way. The order was prepared quickly and the service was friendly and easy. Everything was clean and well organized. I think the dish is fair for the price – good quality, fresh ingredients and a harmonious overall package. I will definitely order again!

All in all, a very average restaurant. Far too expensive for too little. Lots of sweets and not much of the regular stuff.

We spontaneously went out to eat with 4 people, the buffet was too much for us, so we ordered 4 different dishes à la carte. The portions were huge, but seasoned completely bland. The meat was extremely rubbery and the vegetables were barely present. If you want to get fed up cheaply, you can do it, otherwise not. Quantity instead of class.

The parking situation is uncomplicated thanks to a spacious parking lot directly at the building.

However, I found everything seasoned to be very boring, but perhaps that corresponds to the mass taste. The service was friendly, but not particularly fast. The ambience is neat and it is clean too. The evening buffet costs 24.90 euros plus drinks, so everyone has to decide for themselves whether it's worth it.

By the time all the food is available in the displays, it will be around 5:30 p.m. I paid €28.10 for the buffet and a small special. I'd rather go to Essen because there you can get the buffet and all the drinks for €30. And the selection is significantly larger there. It's a shame, but the store definitely won't last much longer.

I was there once and it stays that way. Service was OK. The restaurant was not crowded. It was pleasant but the food is super bad. I was looking forward to baked chicken breast, but they don't have that there. Instead, there is simply chicken fried in breadcrumbs. A no go for me. Generally very poor quality.
