We were thrilled Really very large buffet in the evening. We had enough choice. And there was always enough of everything. Everything really tasted good and nothing was dried out or anything like that. That was really a visit that was worth it. Only recommended. Everything seemed very clean. Service could be a little warmer but we think it's still worth 5 out of 5 points because of everything on offer. 🙂

Huge selection, I can only recommend it

No. We were guests with two people, and both were struggling with stomach and intestinal problems. The veterinary office was informed.

Despite having reserved a table, we had to wait 35 minutes, and nothing came, and still nothing happened. No waiter or anyone else showed up, so we left empty-handed and hungry. There's no such thing in Rostock 😄

We have been visiting this restaurant for years now and again whenever we feel like Asian cuisine. The service is always friendly and courteous. The food buffet is varied, tasty and there is something for everyone. I particularly like the cooking station, where fresh ingredients you put together are freshly fried. The restaurant itself is very large and offers plenty of seating. The furnishings are typically Chinese-style and cozy. There are enough parking spaces available. Wheelchair accessible entrance. A highly recommended restaurant. 👍

The whole family enjoyed and enjoyed it. From the ambience, parking and food to the cleanliness, everything was right. Clear recommendation!

One star deducted because the round tables (intermediate plate) haven't been cleaned for a long time. Otherwise the food is good, the service was nice.

I tried many different dishes and the duck was dry, the chicken was completely overcooked and the rice was completely hard in the cooker. Only the roast beef was edible. Soups totally salty. More quantity than quality and the buffet is no longer that cheap. Service was very difficult to understand. If you want to gorge yourself cheaply with a low standard, you can do so here. We will definitely not be coming back again.

The restaurant is different from what we know from Chinese restaurants. Instead of “normal” dining rooms, there is a huge hall with a high ceiling. I heard this isn't unusual in China. So maybe it's more authentic than what you usually see. Apparently the building was already planned by the architect as a Chinese restaurant, because it looks very Asian from the outside. In any case, the food is okay and you can't complain. We're not buffet fans, but the selection is huge and you can always see employees refilling fresh food. All in all, interesting to see, but we don't like the large hall that much. But that is just our personal impression.

We ate here on February 16, 2025. Some tables are relatively close together and the ambience is rather less than great. The food was excellent.

Recommended. Food quality and selection good, always sufficient. Service tried very hard, really good. Not cheap in price, but reasonable. The fact that children up to 11 only pay half the price is good, but I would still like to see a gradation. Ambience is functional, we prefer “outside” seats. Brighter, quieter, more views.

We went there weeks before and personally selected an area for the celebration with the service and reserved the table. Service itself was really friendly and very helpful. We were allowed to go there a little earlier and decorate the table. The food was okay. But I've had a much better buffet. But the selection was very large, especially for children. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant smell of toilet/drain in the area where we had the long table. Unfortunately, that didn't go away over the course of a few hours. In general it was a bit cold in the store. We still had a nice time together, but after more than 2 hours the waitress came and told us that we had to clear the table now. The menus would say that you can only reserve a table for 150 minutes, after which you could pay an extra charge and stay longer. But this would no longer have been possible because the tables were already reserved, so we 16 people had to clear everything including decorations within 10 minutes. I couldn't find anything about it on the website. Since we were there in person weeks ago, I find it even more regrettable that this information was withheld from us. The waitress apologized. Which unfortunately doesn't change the fact.

We had dinner at New Shanghai yesterday. The quality of the food was okay, but unfortunately it was very cold. The restaurant was totally uncomfortable because you were freezing. It was so cold that even the service staff were walking around in vests and the occasional warm food cooled down very quickly because the air was so cold. For the already high price per week, I wouldn't visit the restaurant again.

Yes, I can recommend it. Feel free to go there. Large selection of food, including a lot that can be freshly prepared. Ambience is one of those things for me. The volume and noises bother me when so many people come together, but for many it's okay.

Some of the food could be warmer. The grill is great. The selection is fantastic. I would like wooden sticks for the chocolate fountain so that you can dip the fruit. By the way, dogs are very welcome here.

Unfortunately the food at the buffet was quite cold. This shouldn't happen, if it sits for a long time it needs to stay warm. Unfortunately, service sometimes forgot to bring a drink. Tables were always cleared quickly. Rooms could be a bit warmer. Found it pretty cold there.

A nice authentic restaurant but…. Drinks are delivered on the tea cart next to dirty dishes. The volume is far too high and the food is only a little Chinese and much more Mongolian cuisine. Die Lautstärke aufgrund einer Großfamilie , welche ununterbrochen eine leere Colaflasche warf fast unerträglich. Ich liebe Kinder, schon beruflicher Natur, aber das war zuviel des Guten. Drei Mal wurde von den Kindern das Licht ausgemacht und auch auf Aufforderung des Personals wurde es nicht besser . Schade um ein eigentlich schönes liebevoll eingerichtetes Restaurant. Wir kommen nicht wieder

Parking is easy, food is delicious. It's just very loud and very crowded on weekends.

Based on the pictures we were expecting a cafeteria atmosphere, but it wasn't that loud at all. Quite the opposite and I'm really sensitive when it comes to volume. The ambience was nice, not excessive, not too kitschy and the food was really very good. The price-performance ratio for the buffet is top notch given the quality. We were there on a Sunday evening at 6 p.m.

This shop is very bad. Yesterday I was eating there with my boys and I wasn't treated kindly either. This food was very disgusting. I've eaten there twice now and I felt very, very bad afterwards. Previously, two prizes were offered at different times. It currently costs €24+ for a few Chinese noodles at the buffet. The quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. Together with drinks you can easily get 30-40€ per person. For that you can go to a real restaurant No recommendation!

Today I was unfortunately very disappointed because some of the food tasted salty, had a disgusting aftertaste and some tasted completely out of date. I also noticed that the Internet network (Wi-Fi) suddenly seemed to have a different identifier - I only know this from Wi-Fi or LTE relay spoofing. Since the food was not edible and I can only evaluate the data for evidence processes, I just tasted most of it and collected information in the sense of data mining! I would ask the companies behind the chain to use real data and recognize fake systems. Given the amount of nanites that function in a decentralized manner, it is now relatively difficult to draw conclusions from bottom to cloud on a digital level. If the matter is pursued sensibly, the magnificent lions no longer have to wear their certificates on the mane that stands for arrogance and pride!

Super nice service, lots of space, atmosphere almost stereotypically Chinese, i.e. lots of gold, wood, dragons and huge wooden chairs. The volume is high and the constant pushing and squeaking of chairs doesn't exactly help with relaxation... The selection is very large. You can only choose the buffet, which costs just under 23 euros. Unfortunately, the dishes are not labeled with allergens or whether they are vegetarian/vegan or not. The Thai curry sauce from the Tepaniaki Grill, for example, contains cream instead of coconut milk, and half of the salads are also dressed with white sauce. Unfortunately, the main courses were very oily and heavy on the stomach. The selection of fresh fruit was very good, the sushi had seen better days. I don't think it's for me.

The restaurant is large, well-kept and offers a really large buffet. And not just big in terms of the selection you can find there, but also in terms of space. Even when it's full, you don't have to step in your heels and you can get anywhere easily. In addition, everything there is looks really appealing, fresh and hygienically top and tastes very good! There is something for every taste, both savory and sweet! Always chilled with lots of ice, immediately refilled, constantly checked and more than enough plates everywhere! AND everything is labeled! There is also a large fresh food counter where you can take different types of fish or seafood and have them prepared to your desired cooking point with the desired marinade. The staff is very friendly and super attentive, you are not left high and dry and dirty dishes are taken away straight away. If you add the drinks flat rate for €10 to the buffet, you have such a great price-performance ratio that there is simply nothing to complain about. If there is a single thing I would like to see improved, it would be the toilets. Totally fine in itself, but if there's something you want to upgrade in the near future, it would be the toilets. :) There is also more than enough parking space.

The food is rich and varied, the service is quick and friendly...if you don't look for a moment the plate is gone...the ambience is really very nice...the only drawback are the toilets and the station toilets same in ambience and cleanliness. What I found is not in the dirt created in an hour after opening. This is really an absolute no-go if the rest of the restaurant impresses with elegance. There are enough photos of the food...I really hope that the toilet will be improved.
