Restaurant Mykonos in Fulda

I was at the local restaurant with my team and even though I'm a vegetarian, I felt absolutely comfortable here! The selection of vegetarian dishes was creative, fresh and incredibly tasty - you can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality and taste. The service was also attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting. The team who ordered meat dishes were also enthusiastic. Absolute recommendation – I or we would be happy to come back! Thanks!

As a local guide who travels a lot, I noticed this restaurant. Apparently tourists are not welcome here. Despite prior reservations, all tables were occupied and our group was put off. You could wait - but I don't make reservations for that in advance - there is no space inside to wait for a table, and the weather wasn't suitable for waiting outside either. We got involved in an unpleasant discussion, that's not how you treat guests. Luckily, there are many other stores nearby with better service.

Highly recommended....will go again

One of the best Greeks we have ever visited. We almost always eat bifteki and here it is made with a firm sheep's cheese inside that doesn't run out when cutting. The bifteki is also spiced with mint, which we really like to eat. Plus the warm sheep's cheese as a starter and we always drink rosé. All very good and it is rounded off with our favorite Ouzo Pilavas.

We were passing through again and had dinner in Mykonos again. This time too we were not disappointed. The lamb fillet and baby calamari were very good. We will be here again next time we stop.

I can't contribute anything to the food in this restaurant because it never happened. Therefore, I can only describe my experiences in dealing with guests and these are unworthy of gastronomy. We reserved a table for six people for 8 p.m. yesterday, Saturday. When we arrived at the restaurant shortly before 8 p.m., we were told that there was no room for us and gave flimsy excuses for this. An employee accompanied us outside and in front of the restaurant this led to an unpleasant exchange of words in which insulting words were even spoken towards us. It's a real shame - we would have accepted a simple "sorry, we made a mistake", but I found such an attitude towards the guest very unfortunate.

Friendly, competent and really tasty food. With the huge picture of Mykonos on the wall, all we really wanted to do was go to the airport and go to Greece! When we are back in Fulda, we will come back!

We came here because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. Food and service were very good, the only small drawback was the somewhat cramped tables. The ouzo afterwards wasn't missing either, but you should reserve a table...

Waited a long time for a gyros that only the spice mixture could save. Compared to other cities, it cannot keep up.

Unfortunately the meat is not roasted on a rotisserie but in a pan. (In the picture you can clearly see that this meat cannot be from a spit!). But fries and tzatziki are very tasty. The coleslaw is homemade but has little taste. Tastes like homemade

The food was tasty but the portions were too small, but of course that's a matter of opinion... Service was polite, quick and the ouzo on the house wasn't missing either! Points of criticism are the very steep, narrow stairs to the toilets and the very narrow toilet facilities, especially since it was very stuffy inside! But apart from that it's definitely worth a visit!

Unfortunately Beefteki was too dry. Otherwise everything was okay, staff very friendly.

We were here once before a concert last year and were thrilled. This year we were really happy, but were bitterly disappointed 😞. The mini grill plate for a whopping €19.50 without salad consisted of a dry bifteki, hard gyros and a halfway edible suflaki. The fries and tzatziki were good. The Gyros Bifteki plate for €15.90, which had three times the amount of gyros as the grill plate, met with the same fate. A pity.

Nice cozy restaurant in the heart of Fulda. Price/performance for the location is also very good. We shared the appetizer with pepperoni and feta. It was very tasty and was brought to the table with 5 slices of baguette. Of the main courses, the lamb chop tasted best; you can see the Athens platter in the picture. Absolute recommendation for the lamb. I suspect that the calamari was standard frozen food, I've had better, but they still tasted good. The service itself was friendly. However, our empty plates stood at the table for a long time after the meal and we could have asked again if we wanted something to drink or dessert. All in all we were satisfied - 4*

That was a spontaneous stop. We were warmly welcomed and given a table straight away. We didn't have to wait long for food either. The food was tasty and sufficient. Serving the tzatziki on a salad bed looks pretty but is impractical to eat.

I had a really great experience in this Greek restaurant in Fulda. The food was really tasty and the choice of dishes was large. The staff was really friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more pleasant. In addition, the price-performance ratio was really great - you get a lot for your money here. All in all, I can only recommend this restaurant if you fancy Greek food and are in Fulda!

Unfortunately not more than average. The breaded sheep's cheese was ice cold inside. This was complained about and he was taken out of the oil bath again. Of course it was full of oil and the only taste was oil from the deep fryer. It could have been rebuilt for 7.50 euros. The main course was baked gyros. My impression was that it was the leftovers that were processed there. They were all thin strips 2 to 3 cm long. There was nothing so classically cut. Taste was so ok. The fries were served so carelessly. So for me there is no reason to eat there again. There was also no question about the obligatory snaps at the Greeks. Service so so... Answer to the owner: Throwing something back into the pan is done in a snack bar and not in a restaurant. Pictures of a pan with a cheese lid wouldn't have shown anything. Yes, and the plate of fries came exactly as shown in the picture. I didn't say that the meat was old, just that in my opinion it's the crumbs that don't look great on the plate. I saw that there was another way on the table next to me, where there was gyros just like you would expect from a Greek restaurant. And other pictures wouldn't have changed the fact that this dish has to do without any garnish. But that seems to be different for you too, when I look at the pictures.

The food was very tasty, the service was very friendly and attentive. Maybe a little loud. We'd love to come back. Price level at around 25 euros including drinks.

The food was very tasty and came quickly, considering we were there with a larger group. The only drawback is that you often have to ask for drinks when the glasses have been empty for so long ;-) Value for money is good.

Nice Greek with good gyros. Ambience was ok and the price was reasonable. All in all, a good average that can be recommended.

Super friendly staff, it felt like the whole family was working in the service and kitchen. Useful additions were recommended to me by service. The taste was very tasty and the wood stove made it cozy and warm.

Update in January 2024: Still very good gastronomy, run by very friendly and attentive people. Still an enrichment for the gastronomic scene in Fulda. Price / offer: Very good. This is how gastronomy works! Very nice people serve great food. Top! One of the very few gastro highlights in Fulda.

Es hat alles gepasst. Das Ambiente, der Empfang, die sehr nette Mitarbeiter, der tolle Service und das leckere Essen. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Essen war sehr lecker, Tzaziki schmeckt super. Auf dem Bild ist eine Seniorenportion zu sehen, da wir uns schon mit Vorspeisen den Bauch gefüllt hatten. Ambiente ist eher ein bisschen trist, bin aber auch zum essen da, nicht um mich von Dekoideen inspirieren zu lassen. Service war super, nur eine weibliche jüngere Bedienung war ein bisschen lustlos und wortkarg. Aber auch das war aufgrund des guten Essens nicht weiter schlimm. Gerne wieder!

Das Ambiente und der Service sind sehr gut. Beim Essen und den Getränken muss man Abstriche machen, so gibt es als Beilage zu den Hauptgerichten nur Pommes und Reis muss extra bestellt werden und dann erhält man weißen Butterreis. Der Salat ist zu klein und teuer, der billigste Wein ist mit 7€ pro Glas auch zu teuer

Selten einen so aufmerksamen Service in einem Restaurant erlebt - kann leider nur 5 Sterne dafür vergeben! Essen auch sehr gut mit sehr fairem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - klare Empfehlung! Reservierung ist von Vorteil, da sehr beliebt und sehr gut besucht!

Das Essen schmeckt lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Preis/Leistung stimmen. Kann man gut weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war lecker und der Service war freundlich. Ambiente ist gut, Bilder an der Wand und ein paar Fischernetze. Schöne griechische Klänge im Hintergrund. Die Plastikpflanzen holen mich nicht so ab aber geben dem Raum etwas grüne Farbe. Rumpsteak Hawaii finde ich aber etwas gewagt.

Das Essen sowie der Wein waren sehr lecker. Freundlich und lockere Kellner. Kommen wieder!

Mit seiner ruhigen Lage und sehr leckerem Essen kann man das Mykonos fast als Geheimtipp bezeichnen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren jetzt schon 2x dort und waren beide Male begeistert! Der Gyrosteller schmeckt super, die Preise sind absolut fair und wir waren sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal da!

Wir waren völlig begeistert. Obwohl das Restaurant eigentlich schon komplett voll war wurde uns noch ein Plätzchen eingerichtet und obwohl wir uns dadurch schon auf längere Wartezeit eingestellt hatten, war auch der Service super schnell. Das Essen war richtig gut und hier gibt es auch meine griechische Lieblingssüßspeise Galagtobureko 🥰

Es war ein sehr schöner warmer Abend gestern, so haben wir draußen gesessen und die leckeren Speisen zu uns genommen. Wir hatten gerade Glück gehabt, das ein Tisch frei wurde. Ich werde auf jeden Fall noch Mal dorthin gehen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist Top, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.👍😄

Leckeres Essen, toller Service. Wir waren nun schon zwei Mal ohne Reservierung da und haben jedes Mal noch einen Platz bekommen, einmal direkt, einmal haben wir kurz gewartet und es war beide Male sehr gut. Sowohl der Grillteller, Bifteki als auch das Gyros haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war nett und zuvorkommend. Das Personal war freundlich und hatte immer ein Lächeln für uns. Die Kritik, die einige an den Pommes haben, kann ich nicht so recht nachvollziehen. Uns hat es geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und ich kann das Restaurant guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Meiner Meinung nach der Beste Grieche in Fulda.

Das Essen ist immer ein absoluter Genuss! Das Mykonos gehört zu unseren top Lieblingsrestaurants in Fulda, wir gehen sehr gerne vor Ort essen, da man besonders im Sommer toll draußen sitzen kann. Aber auch zum Mitnehmen sind die Speisen super geeignet und stets frisch und lecker zubereitet. Das Team ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich wohl als Gast. Wir können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und tun dies auch regelmäßig. Weiter so liebes Mykonos & bis ganz bald!
