Restaurant Munzur 2 in Bad Salzuflen

Das Brot zur Döner-Tasche geht gar nicht. Es war nicht knusprig und zerbröselt bereits in der Hand. Auch wurde ich nicht nach dem Fleisch gefragt. Kalb? Hähnchen? Was war das überhaupt. Ich vermute Hähnchen.

It's a shame the old owner isn't there. He's incompetent and unsympathetic. The food is overpriced and not worth the price, either in terms of quantity or quality. You're always surprised by what you find on your plate and the bill you end up paying. In my opinion, not worth a visit.

I often eat in Munzur with my son, and I know the old owner of the shop and what it's like there. Once we ate there, and they "accidentally" packed more sauce without asking us first. It was supposed to be on the house, but they charged us anyway! €4 just for the sauce. We gave the shop another chance anyway. When we ordered, a few dried-out pieces of chicken arrived, which, first of all, aren't filling. The meal alone costs €17.50, so you expect a bit more, especially for that quality. The appetizer consisted of two sauces that I also know, which we always had at the old owner's. They were spoiled and sour in taste. We called the waiter, and the sauce was simply taken away without an apology. Never again. Not recommended. Such audacity is incomprehensible: you spend so much money and end up getting something like this on your plate. In the picture the meat still looks big, it won't fill you up.

A good kebab but made with poultry meat...a shame

Two of us went for dinner, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Very attentive service, and a complimentary tea after our meal. The portion was large and the price was reasonable. We didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for our food. We'd be happy to go again 👍🏼

Ate here three days in a row. The grilled meat and chicken doner are simply unbelievably delicious. The fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—just how they should be. The appetizer plate is enough for a main meal. We received very friendly and courteous service. Thank you for the wonderful time.

The food is okay, unfortunately I had to ask for more sauces, and the flatbread wasn't at all untypical for Turkey. Previously, there were 5 pieces on the plate, but today, unfortunately, there are only 3. They're very small, less than 150 grams in total. It's a shame the price has been adjusted! Conclusion: This won't be my regular restaurant.

We went there for the first time today and were thrilled. The Pirzola (lamb chops) and Adana (minced meat skewers) were grilled to perfection. The side dishes were also fresh and delicious. We left the restaurant more than full! You get value for your money here. On top of that, the service is very friendly and the food came very quickly.

The food is really delicious and authentic, the service is excellent, the ambience introduces you to this country and the grilled food is particularly good.

The restaurant smelled so good, was very busy, and I got a great seat by the window. The atmosphere was wonderful, pleasant, quiet, and the staff very friendly. The menu is very varied. I was delighted with my choices. The salad was mixed with mint, which I loved. The value for money is great! To finish off my meal, I had the choice between tea and schnapps. The tea was excellent! I highly recommend the restaurant!

We ate here several times five years ago and were extremely satisfied. Today we were very dissatisfied. The wait was very long (an hour), the food was only lukewarm, musty wine glasses, and the salad was undressed.

Unfortunately, 0 stars isn't possible. We've always enjoyed eating here for many years. Since the change of management, we can no longer recommend it. We will NOT be coming back!

Really bad since the change of ownership. The kebab's bread wasn't toasted (fell apart into chunks when eaten) and there were neither cucumbers nor tomatoes on it. It was an attempt but we won't be going here again. Luckily there are many alternatives

We used to eat here often. The owner recently changed and you could tell straight away that the food was really bad, some burnt and some not quite baked through. Our last visit there, a shame.

Thank God everything was closed on the first of January 2025, otherwise we probably wouldn't have discovered this restaurant. We really enjoyed eating here and were treated excellently. The food is definitely worth 5 stars, if not more. The baked vegetables from the oven are great and the charcoal grill prepares meat dishes really well 👍 we'll be back!!!

My girlfriend and I go there from Porta Westfalica on our only free days because we are guaranteed that we can enjoy really good food there. The service staff consists of young men who are very attentive and serve customers immediately. Behind the counter there are experienced older men who do their work very well as “Usta”. You can taste it straight away. The quality is consistently very good. Thank God, you have to say, because I - and I'm not just saying this - would be very sad if the quality were to decline at some point. In my opinion, the food is the best Turkish food there is within a radius of at least 160km. Please never close and keep it up!

Large portion, tasty and fresh food

It's bad that meat doner is not available. Adana and lahmacun taste good. However, the atmosphere is stuffy, the table is messy, and most importantly, the waiters are good, but the person and people in the chef-boss position are very rude.

We were there on a Sunday evening, very crowded and noisy, but the food was very good, plentiful and cheap. We'll definitely go there again when we're back in Bad Salzuflen!

A really good shop. Service, food and even the toilets were great. This will be our new favorite place. We sat outside at the wine festival and enjoyed the atmosphere. The prices are fair and as a vegetarian I get my money's worth here. A smile was always included.

Hair found in food😨 I was in this restaurant with my family and my guests for several years and I really liked everything. Last week we decided to go, but unfortunately we found a long hair in the food, the workers didn't want to exchange the hamburger we ordered and even took money for it. Despite all this, they charged us €63😅👈 🙈

Munzur is a wonderful restaurant offering authentic Turkish cuisine. The dishes are prepared with a lot of love and taste simply fantastic. I would particularly like to emphasize the hospitality of the staff, which made our visit a completely successful experience. We'd love to come back!

The portion was great and the meat was well seasoned. Unfortunately, the kebab meat was not freshly cut from the spit but was taken from the warming container. When I got back home, the bread was soggy and dripping all over it. But like I said, the meat was delicious.

My dad was in a wheelchair and so that my dad didn't have to go up a step, a table was quickly cleared and we were helped with the wheelchair. The food was also great. Great restaurant with delicious food and fair prices. Whether kebab, pizza, pide or burger - everything tastes good and the portions are generous. The prices are good and fair - e.g. 0.5l of wheat for 4.30 euros. The service is friendly, attentive and quick - no long waiting times. At the end there is always tea or schnapps on the house - very hospitable.

Went there today with the family. Man, these are portions at a very fair price. The kebab burger was super tasty and a very decent portion. The pizza rolls are also amazing and not like you would think just 5 pieces or so, the plate was full. Plus the prices are really fair, we had 5 drinks and 4 dishes, all for €50. I think it's very fair. I'll definitely stop by again while I'm in rehab.
