We were there for lunch today with a larger group. Let's start with the service: the lady who served us, and brought out the drinks and food, was unfriendly and didn't seem particularly enthusiastic. Despite having a reservation and one person less than stated, we had limited space per person (the missing person wouldn't have even fit). The food arrived very quickly, but wasn't warm enough, but for the most part, it tasted good. The side salad was poorly dressed (probably just water/olive oil) and tasted of nothing. It also wasn't cleaned properly (it crunched quite a bit). Overall, I have to say the seating is nice, but the service and the temperature of the food could be improved.

I had two meals here. The first was a very good salmon pasta. I came back a few nights later and had the gyros furno. It was SO salty, I could barely eat it. I should have sent it back to the kitchen. Friday night was busy and the staff were a bit frantic, which made dining unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend

We were there on the evening of August 7th (Thursday). The terrace and the restaurant filled up quickly. As a result, service and kitchen capacity were at their limits. The appetizers were excellent. The main courses, however, didn't arrive for over an hour. There was clearly a lack of consistent flavor. The product quality, however, was beyond reproach. A final dessert took the kitchen another 35 minutes. Regarding the service: As the number of guests grew, it reached its limits, which unfortunately resulted in irritability towards some guests. Drinks were brought, but the service later left much to be desired. One could have expected a friendlier service. This was our second visit, and we will continue to visit the restaurant, if only for the excellent appetizers and the stunning view from the terrace. We classify the above impressions as "it can happen once in a while, but it should remain the exception."

A very nice new restaurant, the food was very good, and the staff very friendly. The only downside was that in some places (there were four of us) the place setting was cleared before everyone had finished eating. This is unacceptable, and I haven't experienced it in any other restaurant.

The zucchini in it wasn't great, and it was pretty dry overall. I love moussaka, but I won't order it anymore. The servers seemed a bit disorganized, as different people kept coming in. We asked for bread for the starter platter, but it arrived very quickly (there were 12 of us) after we asked twice. The visit was okay.

Bei meinem ersten Besuch war alles perfekt. Sehr gutes Essen, perfekter Service. Jetzt 2 Wochen später war ich sehr enttäuscht. Wir hatten die Nr 72 bestellt und auch das Gericht genannt bekamen aber die 62. Kann vorkommen aber beharrlich argumentieren nein da hätten wir wohl falsch bestellt. Da wir alle gemeinsam essen wollten wurde das Gericht nicht zurück gegeben. Essen und Service waren gut aber die Überraschung kam beim zahlen. Ich wollte mit Kreditkarte zahlen und der Betrag war immer um fast 5€ höher als der Rechnungsbetrag. Der Kellner wusste nicht weiter und rief den Chef dieser meine wenn es eine ausländische Karte ist oder eine Geschäftskarte kommt das drauf. Er hätte das Gerät noch nicht so lange aber das wäre so. Also meine Bank ist um die Ecke aber von den Gebühren ist es wohl egal die sind alle bei Visa 1,45%. Das müsste dann aber auch vermerkt werden. Der Rechnungsbetrag war über 126€ Trinkgeld wurde bar gegeben. Man wollte dann unbedingt eine andere Karte oder Barzahlung. Bei so viel Unannehmlichkeiten hätte ich wenigstens einen Uozo erwartet wie bei meinem ersten Besuch auch. Aber nichts kam und auch von der netten Verabschiedung vom ersten Besuch keine Spur. Schade es hätte ein neues Restaurant auf meiner Liste geben können

Wir, zwei Griechinnen und eine Österreicherin, haben im AVRA eine modernes griechische Restaurant mit einer spannenden Speisekarte voller authentischer Gerichte entdeckt. Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich, der griechische Chef und Küchenchef ist sympathisch und leidenschaftlich bei der Sache. Das Ambiente und die Lage machen das AVRA zusätzlich zu einer interessanten Location für Feiern. Es lohnt sich nach der Tagesempfehlung zu fragen und auf jeden Fall die Vorspeisen mit einem giechischen Weißwein und ganz besonders die echt griechischen Desserts - vorzugsweise mit einem doppelten griechischen Kaffee - zu probieren.

The ambience is nice, but it was also from the second to last tenant. Unfortunately it doesn't remind you of anything Greek. We were there for lunch because we saw that the menus only cost €12.90. When the food came, we were all disappointed. 1. The portions were way too small. 1 small Suflaki skewer with 5 small pieces, some of it tough meat, the plates had a lettuce leaf and what felt like 3 raw onions on the plate. The fries weren't particularly good, the tzatziki was good but far too little. The homemade chicken nuggets for children were really tasty. But too expensive for the small portions. Too bad.
