Delicious food and friendly staff

The food was delicious, but the service was really poor, as there was usually very little staff. But the food was definitely good! Highly recommended.

My husband bought two Turkish pizzas with him today, with different toppings. One was practically meatless, just sauce, even though it was labeled with minced meat. The second was supposed to have cheese and meat; there was meat, but the cheese wasn't fresh. We ate a little, and now it's badly burnt. We had to take it back. For 25 euros, they didn't get any food, just problems.

My review of MIRA: the food was disgusting. My son had chicken, and then the chicken was raw. I had Adana kebab. The Adana was completely burnt, and you could use it as a baseball bat. Then they put sauce on the table even though you didn't ask for it, and then they charge you €5 for it.

First time there. It looks special from the outside, but unfortunately, it's very dark and cold inside. The food was also very disappointing. The salad was from yesterday, the bread had burnt edges, half of the warm food was burnt and black, and the lahmacun didn't taste like lahmacun! The meat was processed like rubber. I would never eat there again. The service was very disorganized and unkempt.

A wonderful, well-maintained, and well-organized restaurant with a wide menu selection. All the staff are extremely polite and relaxed. Guests enjoy the quiet preparation of their meal selections. The aromas there are so delicious, it's like being at your own mother's house. There were four of us at the table and we underestimated our menu selection. Even while eating our delicious meals, we were surprisingly full and happy. The feeling was wonderful. Thank you for cooking and grilling such delicious and plentiful food. It was absolutely delicious! You deserve it!

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at Mira Charcoal Grill. Although the restaurant was hardly busy, it took quite a while for us to get our menus and be served. After ordering, the waitress brought us sauces, but no bread. 15 minutes later, we went to get our own bread. The food (we had a meat platter) was simply not tasty. The Adana was overseasoned, the chicken barely seasoned. It was a random mix, and the portions were simply small. Some of the food was cold. It seemed as if we were getting leftovers from the people who met us upon entering the restaurant, who left a meat platter for four people almost untouched. Since the change of ownership, the restaurant is no longer what it used to be. What a shame.

Hello A modern Turkish restaurant in an industrial park, a bit too modern and sterile for me personally, but everyone has different tastes. The portion was plentiful, fresh, and I was full. The prices are a bit higher, which isn't what I'm used to from a köz restaurant. If I ever stay here overnight again, I'll definitely go back.

We ate there today by chance. Everything was great, prices were reasonable, food was excellent, service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. It wasn't our last visit; we'd love to go back.

You can eat chicken here, but everything else is poor quality, both the kofte and the Adana skewer. It's unacceptable that you have gristle in your mouth with every bite; it's simply bad meat.

Nice staff, the atmosphere was okay, but unfortunately the food was not tasty at all. Not seasoned at all. Some of it was cold... The icing on the cake was that there were worms (maggots) on the bread. I completely lost my appetite, but unfortunately, we had already ordered and eaten everything. Unfortunately, I didn't like this restaurant at all. The lentil soup wasn't tasty, and the mixed meat for two people was completely tasteless. It used to be a good shop, but the quality has gotten worse. I recently ate there, and they entered more into the card reader than I was supposed to pay. They charged me €42 instead of €24, and after calling several times and constantly saying they'd get back to me, no one did. I can't recommend it to anyone. It's completely unacceptable. Be careful, no one scams you! A terrible shop!

We spontaneously decided to grab some takeaway today as we were passing by. Although it was almost closing time and we weren't expecting to get anything—which is by no means a given—we were pleasantly surprised! The server greeted us warmly and immediately indicated that it wouldn't be a problem to order something else. Our food was freshly prepared without hesitation. The short wait was pleasantly shortened with a delicious tea. The food was truly outstanding—fresh, delicious, and exactly what we needed at that moment. We'll definitely be back! :)

Was here for the first time, invited by daughter. Was surprised by the cozy location and large selection of Turkish dishes. Wasn't there the last time. Had a small starter plate and lamb skewers, very tasty.

The service was catastrophic! Cutlery and napkins were simply thrown carelessly on the table in front of us. The portions only seemed large because of the many potato slices - in fact there was little meat on the plate, especially on the 2-person grill plate. We specifically asked how many Adana skewers were included and were told a skewer that is simply split in the middle. For a grill plate that costs €51, that's pretty disappointing. When we wanted an additional skewer, we were charged another €11.50. It was just a skewer, just a skewer without any side dishes for 11.50? Exorbitant prices! Our child only wanted 2-3 chicken wings, which could have been added given the price. Instead, a whole portion was simply served — for an additional €17.90. In the end we paid €189. The problem is not the amount, but the lack of hospitality. Over tea we finally realized how little value is placed on hospitality: in almost all Turkish restaurants you get tea on the house with your meal. But here even the tea was charged extra - with a bill of almost €200. Really sad...

Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was of poor quality - my dishes were hardly seasoned and some of them weren't fresh. Particularly disappointing was the meat, which was tough, dry and chewed like plastic. The cutlery was not washed clean. The service also left a lot to be desired. The staff was inattentive and we had to wait a long time before we could even order. Questions were either ignored or only answered reluctantly. Overall you didn't feel welcome. For the prices I definitely expected something better. I will not visit this restaurant again and unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

We were there on Saturday with a very large group. We wanted to break the fast together. We paid EUR 35.00 per person. When we arrived, soup was served just in time for Iftar. Afterwards we had to wait 40 minutes to 1.5 hours until the main course even came. Very rude, since they knew full well that we were coming to break the fast. They weren't organized at all. The food came on platters and there wasn't even any real meat. There was only kebab and chicken, half of which wasn't even cooked. The food was already cold and for this price we were really hoping for different food as we were also shown other grill plates when organizing. In addition, we were brought water of the cheapest brand. I've eaten there three times before and never really been satisfied, but I thought with such a group they would definitely offer something good. There was no changing facility either, only on the floor in the disabled toilet… Not recommended at all.

I was there on Saturday from the outside and told my wife and children that they would like it here. I placed the order at 6:05 p.m. and told the lady that I would be back at 6:30 p.m. so that the children wouldn't disturb the other guests. I was back around 6:30 p.m., our mixed grill plates only arrived at 7:10 p.m. and they were really cold. The potatoes and rice were also cold. When paying I also mentioned that the food was cold, she said I hope the food tasted good, then I said if the food is cold it doesn't taste good.

Disappointing experience, not what we expected After driving 45 minutes to try this restaurant as it was well promoted on social media, our expectation was high. Fortunately the food arrived quickly, but unfortunately the quality was disappointing. There didn't seem to be any attention to the different meats as everything was marinated in the same way with a taste that wasn't balanced. It seems that the person preparing the meat has little experience in using the correct spices and techniques. All in all the food was not worth the money and we do not recommend this restaurant. If you're looking for good, tasty food, stick to the familiar places.

I traveled 100 km with my companion to try your restaurant because we had heard about your offer. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met in any way. Our experiences were as follows: * Cold dishes: All dishes were served cold, which represents a significant lack of quality. * Lack of cleanliness: The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The portions are always different even when we order the same thing. When you order home they give you disgusting sauces, they don't even ask what sauces we want. The meat is always like coal that sometimes you can't eat. We always take take away and always number 52 but the portions are always different or different meat or something different. No words for the store. A dürüm with lamb for 12.50 which is cold, the meat was also cold. When you read what you should get on the menu, you imagine something different for the price. A poor quality children's portion. Not only did I think so, but also my numerous friends who were there with me. The atmosphere isn't exactly clean with spots on the floor that look like rust. Dürüm with lamb and a small cola for 15.70 just doesn't go with what's on the table. More than bad value for money. The size of the Dürüm is a maximum of an appetizer.

2 stars are really nice, 12.50 for a dürum that you can get in other shops for 6 euros, the food was mediocre to bad, partly cold, but the price is much too high, although you have to note that the dürum is on the menu (which you can only access via Facebook) still cost €7.50. I think you can expect the map to be found on the internet in an up-to-date form.

Have been to the restaurant several times. The food is always great and, above all, it is really fair in terms of price performance. You never come out with an empty stomach. I always go for Beyti Kebab, it's a solid selection. The grilled dishes are also worth it.

I paid €50 here, on my own, for just salt. First the mercimek soup. It was already too salty, but okay, that can happen (I thought). Then, the main course. Even saltier than the mercimek 🤮. I tried to wash away the salt with weizen beer. I was hungry, so I thought, maybe the pide isn't that salty. So, I order. Gvd, gvd, gvd. I wish I hadn't done that. It was extremely salty. 🤮. I think I ate half a kilo of salt 🤮. And the service, what a bunch of arrogant people they are, especially that woman who thinks she is Miss Germany. For me it was the first time in this (case). First time too many, unfortunately. Folks, ignore this thing and drive past it real quick.

The mixed grill looks very tasty, but several dishes do not really taste as they should. Some also have too many spices in them, so you can't taste the meat clearly. We went to the Mira charcoal grill based on a recommendation. Since we were there at 4 p.m. there were of course no other customers. We were warmly welcomed and a short time later we were able to order. Despite the roof being a quarter open on the terrace, it was still too warm. This room has electric heaters and 4-5 air conditioning split units on the wall. When we asked whether the air conditioning device could be switched on on our site, we were told that it could only heat and was not an air conditioning system. Then why the electric heaters? If there's something I hate, it's being made out to be stupid. Tell the truth that you are not allowed to turn it on, but don't think the customers are stupid. In addition, we had quite a few flies while we were eating. There are also enough solutions for restaurateurs. You could make something up with the food. Kudos to the grill master. The meat was tender and well grilled. Rice, potatoes and the salad were also very good. You can't complain about the portions either. I can't say anything about the prices because nothing is cheap anymore, so I think it's normal now. All in all, despite the heat and the foolishness, everything was good. Hence the deduction for the service and the ambience. If necessary, I would come again in different weather conditions when the terrace is cooler.

This Turkish restaurant is located in a somewhat strange location on an industrial estate on the edge of Ochtrup. However, the building is beautiful (new, modern and spacious). Service was friendly and hospitable. Dishes are typically Turkish and of excellent quality. We had a delicious meal here.

We have reserved a table for 10 people for the sugar festival. When we were there, we didn't know about the reservation, so we picked a table and sent it there. The table wasn't cleaned and stayed like that. A waitress took the order. 20 minutes later the waiter came and gave us a piece of paper with which we had to write the order again because the waitress had lost the previous order. 20 minutes later the drinks came and after we asked when we would get the food we were told straight away. We reserved the table at 6 p.m. and got the food at 8:00 p.m. because we said if the food doesn't come in 5 minutes we'll leave. Finally the food came cold and was just thrown on the table, so to speak. The staff was unfriendly, the atmosphere wasn't too nice, and the food wasn't good either. Other people who came after us got their food quickly. Had a very bad experience. I don't necessarily recommend the restaurant and we won't go there anymore.

Zero stars. I was there yesterday with my two daughters. The restaurant was not heated and we had to sit at the table with jackets on. We had 3 plate dishes for €18.90 each. These prices are normal these days and we thought nothing of it. When the starter (salad) arrived we were shocked - the salad was served in dip bowls (very small) without dressing etc. and was DEFINITELY from the day before. The tomatoes and cucumbers were shriveled and the iceberg lettuce was gray in color. We didn't even try it because it looked so unappetizing. Bread and dip was ok (3 small breads with 2 dips). When the dishes arrived (with dirty cutlery) we were horrified. The meat was cold, didn't taste good and they even cut so much that an Adana skewer was cut in half to make it look like two skewers. At these prices you would expect at least two skewers!! We've never experienced anything like this before. The plates were returned almost untouched. After we expressed our disappointment, only €5 was deducted from the €70 bill. This meal wasn't worth €50. Savings are being made in all the wrong corners. We're definitely not coming back. We also don't understand all the good reviews here. If you have a certain standard and know something about really good food, you won't be happy here.

Hey, I was visiting the restaurant today Some of the meat wasn't cooked through on the inside and burnt on the outside. I didn't want any salad on the plate and no potatoes. Really just rice and chicken but one thing knocked my socks off. I paid €33.60 for this portion and I felt really ripped off. Sorry, I can't recommend it way too expensive

Cleanliness wasn't particularly good. Tables chairs and floor were very dirty. Leftover food on chairs, tables and windows. Floor slippery and full of grease. But the amazing thing was that we noticed a cat in the kitchen when we were paying. If I had taken a look at the kitchen first I would have chosen a different “restaurant”.
