Was great. Sitting by the Rhine again.

We were there with a small group. The service is good and the ambience is quite nice if you ignore the annoying train route. If you reflect the group's opinion, the food is good. However, I have to say that I have eaten significantly better pizza.

We were very satisfied with this restaurant, the food and the service as well as the portions... everything was good all around. The price-performance ratio is also good, the portions are rather large than small 😃 Added to this is the location right on the small harbor, where you can spend an evening on the terrace in summer.

Were there at lunchtime and were very happy with the day menu. For 12.50 euros you can get a good chanterelle soup and a large selection of main courses. We liked it, you sit nicely with a view of Niederwerth and there is space to park right in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately there is a fee.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the area. They serve very tasty Italian pasta. They are very friendly and the view directly on the Rhien is breathtaking.

Very nice atmosphere, inside and outside. Very nicely located on the banks of the Rhine and really good food. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back for dinner.

The Mediterraneo is one of our favorite restaurants around Koblenz! Its location, directly on the Rhine at the Vallenda Marina, is perfect. Here you can sit on the terrace in the sunshine, almost directly on the water and, thanks to the delicious original Italian cuisine, you will have the impression that you are on holiday in Italy. My pizza was delicious, unfortunately very sparsely topped, my wife's was unfortunately greasy, in my opinion not worth the money on the terrace, beautiful view of the Rhine

Great venue in a great location!!! The food was very tasty and the portions were plentiful! Price performance is really good. Nevertheless, the 4 stars because the waitresses could be a little more on the ball (which would also be better for business) and the fact that many people smoke outside close to the customer's table is not that pleasant. However, everyone here is very friendly!!! We'd love to come back!

What has happened there.... When I was a child my parents came to eat there with us...I remember something beautiful and delicious... Oh yeah, yesterday we were unfortunately very disappointed. As a starter we had bruschetta and a starter soup. The tomato pieces were so big that they didn't even stay on the bread. Apparently there were olives from the jar on top. No seasoning, no nothing, I kind of like water tomatoes from the discount store. He said the soup was one out of the bag. If you have the luxury of being able to run a restaurant on one of the most famous asparagus farms. Then I take the opportunity to serve fresh asparagus. The main course was salmon with spaghetti... Fish so dry that I could have worn them with straps as flip flops. The spaghetti was so incredibly spicy that you would have needed a fire extinguisher. Absolutely not to be enjoyed. As a replacement, I was given fries at my request...unfortunately but soggy with ketchup and mayonnaise. My husband also had fish...but unfortunately he was more busy pulling the fish out of his mouth than enjoying the food. When the "filet" was advertised, both meals cost €29. Outrageous. In addition, the waitress was constantly smoking less than 2 meters from our table and those of the other guests. I'm also a smoker, but something like that isn't possible at all and shows more of a lack of hygiene, as we didn't see him go in to wash his hands but continued serving straight away. The whole thing is very, very disappointing. As a small compensation for the food we got an ice cream... actually the best thing compared to the food

Had lunch on the terrace today with the first rays of sunshine in March. Fantastic! The food left nothing to be desired and the espresso was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

This place is a let down. The service was very bad, maybe because we are not German who knows. Last but not least, people working on the job were literally drunk towards the end of their shift. I will never return here.

We always enjoyed going to this restaurant. The location is really good. Yesterday, Saturday afternoon, we stopped there for a walk. We both ate tomato soup and pizza. The tomato soup had the consistency, appearance and, above all, taste of warmed tomato juice. A ladle of tomato juice in a soup cup. The pizzas were clearly ready-made pizzas from the freezer. It wasn't even a better option. Bottom like cardboard lid. The pizza rolls were good. Any Italian would have been ashamed of the espresso. We definitely won't be eating there again.

We had dinner at this place this evening. Located opposite the second best asparagus growing region in Germany, the last reject is offered here. There was also salmon that died several times. When caught, in the pan and who knows where else. The hollondaise from the package was the cherry on top. Other culinary highlights were rump steak with a Gorgonzola sauce. You could also use this sauce to make holes. All in all, it is a complete disgrace to present something like this. He's absolute madness.

Ate there with the family at Christmas was super delicious and the service was great and very friendly.

...tja..was soll ich sagen...viele Jahre unsere absolute Nummer 1 . ...idyllisch direkt gegenüber dem Dorfkern mit Kirche von Niederwerth, direkt an diesem ruhigen Flussarm des Rheins...mit Garten und uraltem Baum, der mit seinen langen Ästen Halbschatten über die Terrasse legte... ...eine Idylle...seit ca 1 Jahr : der Baum gefällt (!!!!) und Plastikzelte errichtet...heiß und stickig im Sommer....kühl und ungemütlich in den anderen Jahreszeiten... Das Essen war früher schmackhaft und wurde freundlichst serviert....nichts, aber auch gar nichts ist geblieben...echt schockierend, wie Raffgier und Ignoranz alles zerstören kann... ...unsere Anmerkungen vor Ort dazu waren auch ersichtlich von keinerlei Interesse.... ...von überall hören wir dieselben Bewertungen,...es gibt Alternativen in Vallendar...ich weiß echt nicht, wer hier 5 Sterme vergibt... b o d e n l o s und soo schade... . .

Wir wurden freundlich als Gruppe begrüßt und bekamen einen schönen Tisch angewiesen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr reichhaltig. Die Gerichte waren köstlich, wobei die Salate sehr groß sind. Der Service war freundlich und hätte vielleicht spontaner nach Wünschen fragen können. Die Einrichtung ist gut bürgerlich, rustikal mit einem riesigen Kachelofen. Die Lage ist beeindruckend, direkt am Rhein. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Für unter 30 Euro Abendessen und mehrere Getränke ist angemessen.

Leckeres Essen. Unbedingt eine Platz reservieren. Bedienung sehr schnell und freundlich. Leider die Portionen viel zu klein. Pizza und Combinazione.

Wunderbare Lage direkt am Rhein. Draussen sitzt man überdacht, also Sonnen-und Regen geschützt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. In Stoßzeiten sind genügend Servicekräfte vor Ort, dass die Wartezeit nicht zu lang ist

Das Restaurant bzw. Biergarten ist direkt am Rhein in Vallendar gelegen. Der Betreiber sowie das Personal ist freundlich und bedient zügig. Natürlich ist die Aussicht mit einem Sonnenuntergang und gutem Essen wunderbar. Das servierte Essen war sehr gut und ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Bei uns gab es Bruchetta, Schnitzel und Salat. Update 08/23 Bedienung gut, Getränke gut, Essen gut.

Sehr tolles Restaurant. Die Terrasse mit dem Ausblick ist echt toll. Die Gerichte waren bis jetzt immer lecker und es gibt auch immer eine wechselnde Karte. Das Personal ist auch sehr toll. Ich würde mir, vorallem in der Sommerzeit wünschen, dass es ein größere Auswahl an Cocktails gäbe. Aber sonst, echt Top

Nettes Restaurant mit Blick auf den Rhein. Guter Service. Pastagerichte waren groß, aber nichts Besonderes. Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis hat uns nicht überzeugt. Zudem staut sich die Wärme im Außenbereich, so dass es dort alles andere als angenehm ist…

Super Service, das Essen ist gut und lecker. Mit wären mehr vegane Gerichte lieber. Die Lage ist Klasse mit Rheinblick von der großen Terrasse. Parkplätze sind in der Umgebung reichlich vorhanden.

Leider hat die Qualität ziemlich nachgelassen. Essen war mal wesentlich besser. Billiger Mozzarella (aus dem Aldi ein besser Qualität) Fleisch in den Nudeln, extrem trocken. Service war teils unfreundlich, bzw wirkte genervt (also besonders der eine Herr). Location ist schön. Hoffe das Essen wird wieder besser, würde lieber mehr bezahlen, aber dafür eine bessere Qualität haben.

Ein unglaublich schöner Platz am Rhein.

Schöne Terrasse direkt am Rheinufer. Mittagskarte bietet 2 Gänge für 10,90€, z.B. Pfifferlingcremesuppe und Lachsfilet auf Bandnudeln: Suppe sehr cremig und gut gewürzt, Nudeln aldente, Lachs durchgegart aber saftig. Rundum zufrieden. Freundlicher und schneller Service.

Das Essen dort ist sehr lecker. Allerdings muss man sagen, dass der Service das nicht ist. Unaufmerksamkeit und arrogant. Sehr schade.

Wir waren am frühen Abend dort und wurden herzlich begrüßt und zu unserem Tisch geführt. Unsere beiden kleinen Hunde waren ebenso willkommen wie wir, was für uns eine Voraussetzung für das Essen war. Schade um die kalten TL-Lichtern was das ganze doch weniger gemütlich machte. Das Essen war aber gut. Ich wählte das Carpaccio, das sich noch etwas kalt und wässrig anfühlte, aber dennoch lecker war. Mein Mann wählte die Bruschetta, und während wir warteten, baten wir um Brot mit Kräuterbutter. Offenbar ist das in diesem Restaurant nicht üblich. Trotzdem war die Kräuterbutter ausgezeichnet. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass das Restaurant vor allem auf Pizzabesucher ausgerichtet ist. Ich habe aber trotzdem mein gegrillter Lachs mit Pasta „aglio e olio” (e peperoncino) und einen deutschen Beilagensalat, genossen. Der pizza ‘Quattro Staggioni” meines Mannes war okay und hatte eine dünne Kruste. Alles in allem einen prima Abend.

Spontaner Stopp bei einer Fahrradtour. Super leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung, schöne Sitzplätze draußen. Fahrräder kann man direkt vor dem Haus im Ständer parken. Wir waren so angetan, dass wir unseren Besuch schon mehrmals wiederholt haben, auch mit dem Auto ;-) Parkplätze dafür übrigens auch direkt vor der Tür.

Es bleibt bei der bisherigen guten Bewertung aufgrund leckerer Pizze und Nudelgerichte, die trotz der größeren Gruppe ziemlich rasch aufgetragen wurden. Der Service absolut in Ordnung, Pizzabrötchen wurden aufmerksam nachgeliefert, wo nur noch eins im Körbchen war. Beim leeren Glas musste ich etwas winken.

Auf Empfehlung meiner Wirtin, bin ich hier eingekehrt. Ein guter Rat. Ich hatte Glück, noch einen Tisch im Biergarten zu ergattern. Zunächst gab es eine klare Fischsuppe mit reichlich Einlagen und danach habe ich mir die Penne ala Chef, mit viel Rindfleisch gegönnt. Das Personal ist freundlich, aufmerksam, schnell und trotzdem so herrlich unaufgeregt. Das war wirklich ein schöner Abend.

Auf Empfehlung waren wir am 19.08.2021 mit 3 Personen im Ristorante Mediterraneo. Trotz dass es nur um die 20 Grad war, waren bis auf 2 Tische alle besetzt. Nach dem üblichen Corona-Prozedere nahmen wir unseren Tisch ein. Wir bekamen sofort die Speisekarte und kurz danach wurden die Getränke aufgenommen und sehr zeitnah auch gebracht. Wir bestellten 1 x Salat Chef (Bunter Salat und Hähnchenbruststreifen), 1 x Pizza Quattro Stagioni und 1 x Funghi Salami. Nach nicht mal 15 Minuten stand das Essen auf dem Tisch. Das ging sehr schnell, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass alle Tische belegt waren. Das Personal hatte alles bestens im Griff und arbeitete gründlich und unaufgeregt. Das Essen war wirklich richtig gut, der Salat schön zurecht gemacht, reichlich Fleisch und vor allem richtig angebraten, außen braun und innen saftig. Die Pizzas waren lecker. Reichlich belegt und der Boden gut durch, aber nicht zu hart. Fazit: Hier passt einfach Alles! Die Bedienung, das Essen, der Preis und auch das Ambiente.
