Der Service war etwas durcheinander, aber ansonsten war alles TOP. Trotz das es voll war, war das Essen sehr schnell da und super lecker. Und nicht vergessen das Ambiente am Rhein auf der Außenterrasse.... klasse

Ein sehr schöner Abend im Riva Sei - von der Vorspeise über Hauptgericht und Nachspeise war alles lecker und gut zubereitet. Der Blick auf den rechten Rheinarm mit Insel Niederwert ist sehr schön.

Top Essen, Ambiente und toller Service. Wer italienisches Essen kennt und liebt, weiß das Essen hier zu schätzen. Sehr empfehlenswert! In der Umgebung der authentischste Italiener !

Das Restaurant wurde wirklich schön renoviert. Jedoch war Rest nicht so toll. Der Service war echt nicht gut, leider super super unaufmerksam und nicht gerade freundlich. Wir mussten bei allem mehrmals nachfragen. Unser Tisch stand voller Gläser die erst weg geräumt wurden als es nicht anders ging. Die Hauptspeise kam bevor die Vorspeise überhaupt gegessen wurde. Von der Qualität war es wirklich sehr schlecht und die Preise waren dafür wirklich zu hoch. Schade

Wir gehen da bereits seit Jahren essen, seit geraumer Zeit Besitzerwechsel. Viel modernisiert und schöner gemacht. Nach wie vor Top-Lage. Nettes Personal und Chef. Essen schmeckt. Leider nach einem Besuch heute folgende Einschränkung: Es existiert eine neue Karte mit einem massiven Preisanstieg ( war da nicht eine Mehrwertsteuer-Senkung?!), Gerichte relativ klein dafür. Kommen wieder aber jetzt weniger häufig.

Endlich wieder ein italienisches Restaurant mit traditionell hergestellten Spaghetti Carbonara. Keine Sahnesauce mit Kochschinken sondern Ei, Parmesan und Pecorino mit Guanciale! Super lecker und toll zubereitet. Vielen Dank!

Sehr schöne Lokalität mit tollen Essen.

Klare Empfehlung!!! Essen einfach hervorragend, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich und das Ambiente wirklich wunderschön. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse mit einem Aperol Spritz ist ein absoluter Traum. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren spontan in Bingen und haben eine Pizzaria gesucht und gefunden. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gute essen. Ich würde da immer wieder hin gehen wenn ich in der nähe bin.

Leider eine immens schlechte Erfahrung gemacht. Das Essen war katastrophal schlecht. Auch der Service war leider nicht freundlich. Auf unseren Hinweis, dass der Parmesan nicht mehr gut sei, wurde nur genickt. Insgesamt keine gute Erfahrung.

Gute ehrliche Küche. Preise sind sehr stimmig auf das Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Der Inhaber wie auch das Team sind überaus freundlich. Freue mich wieder auf die schöne neue Sommerterrasse.

Wir treffen uns alle 4 Wochen dort, und jedesmal ist das Essen klasse. Netter Service, kann man weiterempfehlen.

Es gibt hier einen neuen Besitzer und der hat was gegen kleine Kinder. Als meine Tochter (1,5J.) am Tisch etwas lauter wurde, hat der Kellner den Gästen am Nebentisch angeboten die Musik lauter aufzudrehen, damit sie das nicht hören müssen. Außerdem wurde die Tür zum Gästeraum geschlossen, damit das Personal nicht gestört wird. Als meine Tochter, die gerade laufen lernt, mit mir zusammen im Restaurant ein paar Schritte gegangen ist, wurde sie vom Besitzer lautstark angemault. Einmal und nie wieder...

Grundsätzlich ist es ein schönes Restaurant mit toller Einrichtung und angenehmer Atmosphäre. Das Essen war gut und lecker und die Preise angemessen. Allerdings wurden wir während unseres dreistündigen Aufenthalts nach der ersten Bestellung von Getränken und Essen leider nicht mehr angesprochen. Wir hätten gerne noch etwas bestellt. Trotzdem eine Empfehlung.

Ich gehe hier öfter essen und bin jedes Mal zufrieden. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, man fühlt sich willkommen und alles läuft entspannt ab. Das Essen ist konstant gut. Pizza immer knusprig, Pasta frisch und geschmacklich sehr gut. Auch die Vorspeisen passen. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wartezeiten sind kurz. Preis Leistung stimmt für mich. Komme immer wieder gerne her und kann es weiterempfehlen. Eigentlich wären hier 6 Sterne angebracht!

Gestern das erste mal dagewesen. Wir wurden freundlich von Luca empfangen und einem schönen Tisch zugewiesen. Schöne Karte mit Saisonempfehlung und Tagesgerichten. Service überaus nett und serviceorientiert. Ein Blick für das leere Glas☺ Die Pizza mega lecker, ausschließlich frische Zutaten. Ebenfalls die Nudeln sehr zu empfehlen. Für das Frühjahr / Sommer verspricht der aktuell Umbau und die Erweiterung der Terrasse einiges. Hier waren wir nicht zum letzten Mal.

Geschmacklich ist das Essen gut, jedoch war die Lasagne leider eine Kinderportion. Überwiegend Soße und darin versteckt eine ganz kleine Lasagne. Die Preise finde ich sehr übertrieben, auch für die Pizzen. Für uns gibt es dort daher kein zweites Mal. Das Personal war freundlich. Ein Stern für den Service, ein Stern für die Lage, ein Stern für die Pizzen. Kein Stern für die Lasagne und kein Stern für die Preise. = 3 Sterne

The misuse of such complaints is leading to the increasing disappearance of objective and balanced reviews like this one in Germany. This creates a distorted overall picture in which even average reviews are deleted and many restaurants suddenly have almost only 5 stars. By the way, this review refers exclusively to the restaurant: "We were there in the early evening and were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Our two small dogs were just as welcome as we were, which was a prerequisite for the meal. It was a shame about the cold solar lights, which made the whole thing less cozy. The food was good, though. I chose the carpaccio, which felt a bit cold and watery, but was still delicious. My husband chose the bruschetta, and while we waited, we asked for bread with herb butter. Apparently, that's not common practice at this restaurant. Nevertheless, the herb butter was excellent. Looking at the other guests, I get the feeling that the restaurant is primarily geared towards pizza lovers. However, I still enjoyed my grilled salmon with pasta "aglio e olio" (e peperoncino) and a German side salad. My husband's pizza "Quattro Staggioni" was okay and had a thin crust. We love the Mediterraneo. Looking out at the Moselle, it's like a mini-vacation. The food is delicious, and the chef and Medi are super attentive. When it's busy, it can take a while, but please, you have to take your time. We're always happy to come back.

We went there for dinner with the whole family. The service was very polite and made every effort to fulfill all customer requests. We received a very warm welcome and were served quickly. The food (two pasta dishes, a lasagna, and a pizza) arrived in 10 minutes. The food was very tasty. Only the pizza base could have used a bit more heat. The children can play safely at the adjacent playground. I just found the drinks a bit expensive, sometimes over €5 for 500ml. Otherwise, though, it's recommended.

An absolute highlight on the Rhine – we spontaneously cycled by and were completely thrilled! We spontaneously cycled by today and were lucky enough to be able to sit outside on the terrace. Right on the banks of the Rhine, with a stunning view over the water – simply perfect. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, just as mentioned in many previous reviews: really fast and welcoming service, especially with a focus on family-friendliness and child-friendliness. The food – unlike previous comments that described it as "good, but not amazing" – was simply outstanding today. The portions were extraordinarily generous, the flavors full of freshness and Mediterranean lightness. The bruchetta with a light garlic flavor was a dream, the pizza crispy and generously topped, perfectly balanced. The ambiance was modern and cozy, kept clean – especially outside on the terrace – and so pleasant that we spontaneously wanted to stay the whole evening. Conclusion: A stylishly run Mediterranean restaurant with first-class service, generous portions, and fair prices. The location on the Rhine makes the experience perfect—we'd love to return—even spontaneously, by bike—and we'd definitely recommend it with 5 stars!

At first, the first order was a bit slow, but then it moved quickly. The food was really very good, and there was nothing to complain about. There were 13 of us. The food arrived at the same time, and all the dishes were very good. Added to that is the excellent location, right on the Rhine.

We celebrated a birthday here with nine people. I really enjoyed the food, and the location right on the Rhine is beautiful. Update July 2025 (new tenant) Despite being fully booked, the food arrived surprisingly quickly and was delicious! We enjoyed tagliatelle with fresh fish. The service was super friendly – ​​everything you'd expect from a good restaurant. The value for money is just right here!

Update: Since the change of ownership in early 2025, the ambiance is the same, still very nice. However, the quality of the food has declined significantly! No comparison to the previous owner; the food is rather unloving and obviously made from cheap ingredients, so the taste is accordingly random. After two attempts at various pasta, pizza, and meat dishes, we've made our decision. We won't be visiting Mediteraneo again until something changes. Added to that is the rather jovial manner of the new owner, even after you've only been sitting there for 10 minutes. I don't like being touched or hugged by strangers. It's a real shame; we've celebrated all our birthdays, including our wedding, there. To Murat, the old owner, all the best in his retirement. Thank you for the wonderful time and the excellent food. Great asparagus dishes, everything else is highly recommended too!

Very friendly staff and definitely recommended for food

Beautiful location directly on the Rhine. The terrace unfortunately has a 70s charm. The annoying railway line is right next to the terrace. The food was very disappointing. The pizza dough was much too thick. An unpleasant yeasty taste. The topping on the pizza frutti de mare was the cheapest canned good. Everything was covered in tasteless "cheese." The second dish was poorly presented. A handful of fries, the rump steak drowning in a creamy cheese sauce. The service was inattentive. They were constantly taking smoke breaks in front of the guests or chatting with friends and relatives without paying attention to the guests. Even the view of the Rhine and Niederwerth doesn't help to make up for it. We won't be returning.

Went to eat today with three people, one of whom was in a wheelchair, and the staff carried her up and down for great praise and thanks. The food was all excellent. Would say bus next time. 👍

Unfriendly new operators. Ignore you when you enter the restaurant. Are more interested in friends/acquaintances. Actually, you should be welcomed warmly as a guest. The service staff is just as courteous as before the change of operator. Complaints about bad food were ignored by the kitchen. Prices for food and drinks are excessive. It's a shame, the beautiful location on the banks of the Rhine deserves more quality and friendliness and acceptable prices.

A really successful evening! The soup tasted excellent, and the pasta was also a real highlight. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating - you immediately felt like you were in good hands. Nice location but disappointing food. The location of the restaurant directly on the Rhine is really beautiful and a big plus. Unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. My first drink tasted unpleasantly like cardboard, but was replaced without any problems. For a vegetarian dish I chose the pizza, but it was mostly onions and peppers, with just a few mushrooms, a single artichoke and frozen spinach. For the price of €13.90 I have definitely eaten better and more original Mediterranean pizzas. My companion's schnitzel appeared to be made from pressed meat and came out of the deep fryer. The small portion of fries was fine. Overall, the culinary offering leaves a lot to be desired, and it's probably better to sit on the boulevard than here.

We were very satisfied with this restaurant, the food and the service as well as the portions... everything was good all around. The price-performance ratio is also good, the portions are rather large than small 😃 Added to this is the location right on the small harbor, where you can spend an evening on the terrace in summer.

Were there at lunchtime and were very happy with the day menu. For 12.50 euros you can get a good chanterelle soup and a large selection of main courses. We liked it, you sit nicely with a view of Niederwerth and there is space to park right in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately there is a fee.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the area. They serve very tasty Italian pasta. They are very friendly and the view directly on the Rhien is breathtaking.

The Mediterraneo is one of our favorite restaurants around Koblenz! Its location, directly on the Rhine at the Vallenda Marina, is perfect. Here you can sit on the terrace in the sunshine, almost directly on the water and, thanks to the delicious original Italian cuisine, you will have the impression that you are on holiday in Italy.
