Top address for delicious Italian food. Good value for money, and the staff is friendly and dedicated.

You enter the restaurant and you're immediately struck by the feeling of style and coziness! Everything is furnished in light wood, and the open-plan design creates an airy, friendly, and warm ambiance – however, the open-plan design also creates a tremendous amount of noise, especially when it's packed and there are lots of screaming babies present! We ordered two pizzas (optionally with spelt dough), both huge, and even as a man, I couldn't finish them all. The waitress asked if we wanted to take the pizza to go. She brought a pizza box instead, which was later added to the bill for €0.50. Otherwise, the menu also includes classics like pasta, salads, steaks, and seafood.

Very tasty food and great ambience

Very good pizzas and a pragmatic service team. They tried hard to find us a seat, and in the end, it worked out. It's understandable that this place is so popular. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Inzell.

I've picked up pizzas time and time again, or even been there once. Unfortunately, the quality has really declined. We're not exactly gourmets, but compared to two years ago, the pizza is just run-of-the-mill, like any other delivery service. Unfortunately, for the price, it's definitely not better. There are better options.

The pizza doesn't look Italian; you can tell they don't let the dough rest for long. The dough is more like an Avanti delivery service. Olives with stones on the pizza... never had that before, and I bit into the first stone really hard :( Service was there, but not very courteous. The food for three people arrived over a few minutes. Overall, it felt more like a motorway service station...

Very tasty food at a good price. The pizzas are huge, super fresh, and large. There's plenty of parking. The service is very friendly and fast. You can sit inside or outside.

When in Bavaria, the rule applies: "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." Since the Bavarian King Maggus Söder is also a food blogger, I was inspired to write this review. My other reviewers have already commented extensively on most of the elements. I would like to highlight a drink that is a house specialty: the "Fitness Water." This is a water whose carbonation plays a daring game with the distinctive flavors of the cucumber. The cucumber isn't added whole to the drink, but in small, approximately 5 mm² rectangles. The flavor pairing is rounded off with a hint of tanginess by a hint of lime. A great idea. Despite the roast and the giant pizza, I was so exhilarated that I lightly practiced a few figures on the ice rink next to the restaurant!

The food was generally good. Unfortunately, the lasagna was charred on top and was served without comment. After we complained, we were given a freshly prepared one, but again without comment. Unfortunately, the only really nice service we had was right at the end. We weren't even bid farewell.

It was a successful culinary evening. The Pizza Massimo was amazing; I've never had so many shrimp on a pizza before; everything was delicious.

Located right next to the ice rink, it offers a lovely outdoor area for warm weather. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our tables on both visits. The service was attentive to our guests, making us feel at home. The pizza and pasta dishes were impeccable and delicious, but the salad could have been better with regard to the oil and vinegar used. Since the restaurant is relatively large, you'll certainly have to put up with a considerable amount of noise inside when it's full. However, both times we sat outside and—what a miracle these days—were still able to get something to eat even after 9 p.m.

Where do I begin? Where do I stop! Super friendly staff. Great location. And now the best and most important thing: The food is amazing! Whether it's an appetizer or a main course. I've never seen so much "stuff" on a pizza, pasta, or salad! Simply incomparable. We come from far away, unfortunately! But if we're nearby, we always go to Massimo 👌👌👌

Wow! Absolutely a hit! We arrived spontaneously and late tonight. It was a lucky break, and we managed to get a table for Friday evening. Make sure you make a reservation! The service was not only incredibly prompt and courteous, but all the ladies were always attentive to our needs, asking questions, accommodating special requests, and offering great recommendations. It was an absolutely wonderful and warm atmosphere. The bruschetta pomodoro and salmon were a great start. I ordered the spaghetti with seafood with a fiery sauce from another dish (no problem at all). Incredibly delicious and in a very generous portion. A wish was also fulfilled for dessert, with the mango sorbet with Prosecco served in a beautiful glass. It wasn't on the menu, but it's definitely worth considering... 😉 Four wines, two starters, two pasta dishes with fish/seafood, a special dessert, and a grappa for a mere €87.00, with no extra charge. Vanuit Inzell goed te voet bereikbaar. Het ligt diect naast de Max Eicher Arena. Als je met de auto komt, is er voldoende parkeerplek. Heerlijk weer, dus op het terras gegeten. Er wordt heerlijk eten geserveerd door zeer vriendelijk personeel. We hebben genoten. Alleen de porties mogen van mij best iets kleiner 😉 Restaurant is een aanrader!!

We're from northern Germany and always go there when we head south because we love it there SO much🍕🫶🏼 My special recommendation, which isn't on the menu, is: Spaghetti aglio e olio with shrimp🍝😋

We went spontaneously and were very lucky to get a seat on the terrace! The service was excellent! Super fast and super friendly! Our little dog Anny got a piece of ham from the friendly waiter! It's definitely worth a tip! Thank you again, we will definitely be back! PS: The food was also delicious, of course! Fantastic value for money!

We visited Restaurant Massimo for the second time today. It was simply fantastic! The terrace, the staff, and especially the food. Everything was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and the portions were generous and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, we're heading home tomorrow. Beautiful ambiance, plenty of space on the terrace, all shaded. Table reservation via email worked perfectly, and even our large dog had room. Fast, friendly service. Pizza bread with tomatoes for starters. Con: not fully cooked (lack of bottom heat). Pro: great taste; plentiful. Unfortunately, one part of the main course arrived while the starter was still in the oven. Pizza: crispy, generously topped (even with special requests), very large, and very tasty. 2. Spaghetti carabonara with large pieces of bacon, plentiful, and also very tasty. Afterwards, we had Ramazotti (as an apology for the early arrival of the main course). Dessert: Tiramisu and special requests (with pistachio parfait and one without cream): Very tasty and plentiful again! We will gladly return and look forward to it!

I've tried repeatedly to order a pizza or reserve a table. Unfortunately, it's never worked to date! I'm not concerned with the restaurant being busy and full. That's what I want from a good restaurant. I'm criticizing the extremely rude way I've been turned down several times. I've never experienced that from any other Italian restaurant.

We spent a few days in Inzell and, unfortunately, only discovered this pizza place by chance on our last day. The pizzas were super delicious and had plenty of toppings. The price of €12.90 for this 34 cm diameter pizza is reasonable. We'd love to come back 😄

Luckily, they weren't on vacation anymore, even though the Google search text said so. 😂 The place has the feel of an après-ski hut, but it wasn't nearly as crowded. Great selection of food and drinks. My pizza was also a somewhat unusual combination: asparagus, smoked salmon... Super delicious. It was the size of a wagon wheel. So, lunch for the office was also secured. Friendly staff, and the wait was simply worth it to have a freshly baked pizza. 🧑‍🍳 I'll remember this place and would love to come back.

Salami pizza was too greasy, the pizza base was a mixture of soggy and puff pastry, the salami tasted old and some of the lasagna wasn't ready. But the cola was good.

We have been spending our annual vacation in beautiful Inzell for several years. Since then we have been “guests” at the Pizzeria Massimo a few times. We found the food to be averagely good. We also had to return completely burnt grilled vegetables. The main reason we won't go there again is because of the service. We were seen as a necessary evil, especially by an older waitress who we unfortunately caught every time. We can't comment on the rest of the staff.

Just wow! We were there with a group and had a good overview of different dishes. Everyone was thrilled 👍. The pizzas are huge, the dough is thin and the toppings are exquisite. The salads are crisp and fresh. The fish dishes are super delicious. Be sure to reserve early. The locals also eat here, so it's always busy.

Everything was fine, we went there spontaneously. Everything had been reserved. After a while of waiting we finally got a place for 3 people.

I can't understand the negative comments about the restaurant at all! We decided to visit the restaurant at short notice and got a seat. (Tip: make a reservation, it's very busy) The food, we had pizza, pasta and a salad, arrived within 15 minutes. The waiter was very attentive, the food was plentiful and tasted excellent. However, due to the height of the room, the acoustics are really loud. Otherwise we would love to come back 😃

During our vacation in Inzell we ate at Massimo three times over 10 days. That actually says everything. Because if everything wasn't right, from the service, quality of the food and prices, we wouldn't have gone there so often. We always felt well looked after and no matter whether it was antipasti, pizza or pasta, everything was always extremely tasty and the portions were such that we were always full. We will definitely come back on our next vacation.

Unfriendly staff! The starter (grilled vegetables) was mostly burnt. After the complaint, the plate was taken away without comment and without apology. That doesn't work at all!!!!!

I ate aglio e olio, pasta was way too oily, the garlic was burnt. Also, someone had ordered a lasagna, it was cold in the middle, it could have been a frozen lasagna from the supermarket.

When we are in Inzell a visit to Massimo is a must. Very good food for a good price.

Very nice restaurant right next to the Max Aicher ice rink in Inzell. Friendly, attentive service and the food was also great.

We went there to eat there on holiday based on a recommendation from local residents. The pizzas are great, big and the price is right too. Service is also very nice. We visited there regularly in the evenings - almost every day. And 2 years later we visited it again almost every day because we were on holiday nearby again. We would like to have a restaurant like that in our town.

Zum wiederholten Male wurde unsere Reservierung verschlampt. Kann 1x, aber nicht 3x in einem Jahr. Und dann kein Wort des Bedauern, sondern äußert unhöfliches Antworten und beharren darauf, dass es unsere Schuld ist. Passt zum ansonsten schlechten und unhöflichen Service. Einziger Grund, hier zu Essen: speziell am Wochenende gibt es leider kaum mehr Alternativen in Inzell!

Abfertigung - schnell dran und wieder weg. Machte den Eindruck, uns könne hier eh keiner das Wasser reichen, schade. War früher schon mal angenehmer.

Ich kann die vielen Negativ Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wir besuchen das Restaurant Massimo seit vielen Jahren immer mal wieder. Das Ambiente im Lokal ist sehr schön und gemütlich gestaltet. Wir würden von den Bedienungen die teilweise schon sehr lange dort Arbeiten immer freundlich bedient. Die angebotenen Getränke und Speisen waren ausnahmslos von guter Qualität und Geschmacklich sehr gut. Auch die Preise sind nicht überteuert.

Több mint egy órát kellett várni mire megkaptuk a pizza-t. A spenót szét volt ázva, nem volt jó íze. Nagyon nagy zaj volt, kellemetlen volt az egész hely hangulata.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant and luckily got a seat. Normally I would make a reservation there in advance as it is usually very busy. I try bolognese in almost every Italian restaurant. Unfortunately it usually doesn't taste very good, but this one was super tasty!!! The pizza was also excellent. Drinks as they should be! The service was friendly and attentive, not intrusive. You must call in advance to reserve a spot. We did that too. Unfortunately it was raining, so we couldn't get a seat outside. There was a large group in the restaurant. Nevertheless, the service was very calm and friendly. You had to wait a bit for the food. Which of course was based on the group. The pizzas were very tasty. The restaurant has a wide selection of dishes. Salads/pizza/pasta... No wish should be left unfulfilled

Great staff, delicious food, attentive service and they were very sweet to our dog. In addition, the waiting times were absolutely great, even though we were there during the holiday season and the restaurant was full. We were able to spontaneously get 2 places. The drinks were always brought quickly.

8:30 p.m. Despite free tables, we didn't get any food because the preparation supposedly took 45 minutes and we were actually shown the door with a 2 year old toddler. Bavarian hospitality is something different. shame on you!

We ordered a wheat beer and got a whatever beer. After asking twice whether it was supposed to be a wheat beer, the answer came like this: “It comes from a barrel.” A waitress saw it that way and suddenly a properly poured wheat beer arrived. Not a professional.

The restaurant is very modern and also very clean. The waitresses are very nice and accommodating. It took a maximum of 5 minutes from ordering the pizza to starting to eat it. Hats off. The pizza was very tasty, but I had a piece in the middle where the dough wasn't completely cooked through. Prices are absolutely okay too.

The pizza is really good but not world class either. Unfortunately the desserts weren't really good, only a 2/5, a shame...

Gemütliches Lokal direkt an der Eis Arena gelegen. Schönes Holz Interieur ansprechend. Gute Auswahl leckerer Pizza und Pasta Gerichte. Schmeckt alles sehr gut. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service.

Unfortunately, the chocolate cake did not have a liquid core, as described in the menu. I told the waitress that. Your answer: The cake is bought frozen and you can't get it any other way. I find that quite cheeky and unprofessional. Since the rest of the food was quite salty, I wouldn't come here to eat again.

Ordered spontaneously on a Saturday evening. And even though the restaurant was full to capacity, we were still able to pick up food promptly. The quality was top, especially the pizzas were outstanding, but the pasta and meat were also very well prepared. It's definitely not the last time we've eaten there!

Wir machen gerade Urlaub hier und haben gestern Abend unser Silvester Essen dort gehabt. Wir sind total begeistert vom Essen. Kurze Wartezeit. Freundliche Bedienung. Preis Leistung total stimmig. Wir kommen wieder. Allerdings wäre es ratsam zu reservieren da massimo sehr beliebt ist.

Klasse Pizzeria! Ambiente des Speiseraums topp! Der mit Holz gebaute und auch dekorierte Saal sieht megamäßig aus! Durch die clevere Innenarchitektur ist auch die Raumakustik bei voll besetzten Tischen gut und man kann sich gut unterhalten! Der Service ist zügig und sehr freundlich! Die Pizza ist gut, aber leider kommt kein „Wowgefühl“ auf! Meine persönliche Meinung ist dazu, dass eine auf Stein gebackene Pizza besser wird, als auf Blechen. Aber, das ist ja rein subjektiv! Preis-Leistung passt aber und daher volle 5 Sterne! Parkplätze sind kostenlos vor der Tür. Reservierung ist empfohlen.

Essen war sehr lecker und die Mitarbeiterinnen sehr freundlich. Das Lokal hat ein angenehmes Ambiente. Zumindest wenn keine Sportveranstaltung ist viele Parkplätze.

Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung und moderne Innenausstattung. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, haben wir für 1,5 h noch einen Tisch bekommen.

Waren heute Abend zum Essen dort, es war schon ein Genuss!!! Tolles Ambiente und ein toller Service, bevor wir die Heimreise antreten noch Mal sehr gut speisen.

Sehr sehr leckere Speisen und die Pizzen sogar mit Dinkelmehl gebacken, dünner fester Boden und sehr gut belegt. Die Pasta wurde mit Shrimps bestellt, auch diese Speise war hervorragend und sehr gut bestückt. Sehr sauberes Restaurant, direkt am Eisstadion in Inzell, super freundliche Bedienung. 5* sind durchaus gerechtfertigt 👍 Update Sep. 23: Die Qualität ist immer noch auf sehr hohen Niveau, trotz steigender Gästezahlen. Ob Pizza oder anderer Speisen, immer ein Genuss. Die Bedienung ist flott und stets freundlich. Mein Stammlokal 2020, 2021 und 2023👍😀. P.S. 2022 waren wir leider nicht im Urlaub

Netter laden freundliche Bedienung die allerdings entweder nicht kam oder leicht verpeilt war. Ich habe Steinpilz Ravioli mit Rucola und Pinienkernen gegessen die zwar nicht die größte Portion waren dafür aber sehr sehr lecker. Danach weil ich Tiramisu liebe habe ich dieses auch bestellt aber würde leider etwas enttäuscht. Der Kaffee Geschmack war sehr leicht, Amaretto war gar keiner drinn in einem relativ großen Stück befanden sich nur 3 Kekse womit der größte Teil nur Creme war,die leider nur aus Sahne bestand.

Das Essen war gut, aber am Tiramisu muss man echt noch arbeiten. Es war quasi nur Sahne und kaum Geschmack von espresso oder Amaretto vorhanden. Die Bedienungen waren leider auch vorwiegend verplant unterwegs und es wirkte so als ob ihnen keine festen Tische zugeteilt sind.

Nettes Lokal aber Pizza war gar nix... denke nicht das es Italiener sind...der Boden war einfach nur eklig Viel zu viel Belag... Bedienung voll gestresst... naja wir kommen nicht nochmal

Wir waren dort , um gut zu essen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und trotz des recht vollen Lokals bekamen wir einen tollen Platz auch für unsere Hund , dem sofort Wasser angeboten wurde, Die beiden Pizzen waren echt lecker, gut belegt und nicht matschig. Genau richtig. Der Service war schnell und da unsere Vorspeise etwas Zeit in Anspruch nahm, fragte man und danach, ob jetzt die Hauptspeise serviert werden könne. Sehr ordentlich finde ich .
