Restaurant Martini in Hamburg

We had lunch here today and are very satisfied. We really liked the concept of operating a public restaurant in a (very nice) senior living complex with a green courtyard! This way, the residents also have "outside contact," and we had a pleasant chat. The waitress, "Anja," greets every guest by name wherever possible and leaves a quick, friendly word with each guest, even strangers. Since our waitress misunderstood something, we were able to witness how appreciatively "Anja" handled the situation (for us, with an apology and the offer of dessert, and with understanding, friendliness, and motivation for improvement for her young Vietnamese colleague). An absolute masterstroke for the owner! Now for the food: A very tasty schnitzel, with a fantastic breading, seared (not deep-fried 😍) with a sprig of rosemary. The decorative salad was lovingly arranged and dressed with a delicious vinaigrette. Absolutely top-notch!

A special place to relax, great but just meant for older people

The food is great, the atmosphere is for the older generation, but still cozy. The service was attentive and quick.

The four of us ladies have been coming here for dinner every Friday for a long time. We are very satisfied with the service - everyone is very nice - and with the food - very tasty and beautifully presented. We always enjoy coming back.

Since a new chef has been there, you can only be thrilled. You can tell that the chef cooks with his heart. The food is very good and the plates are beautifully decorated. Super. Price performance also great!

I was just here for a coffee and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. There is a beautiful courtyard. The staff at the deaconry and the restaurant were all friendly and it seemed very peaceful.

This restaurant is characterized by a very special cuisine and its exceptionally attentive and empathetic employees. There are not many catering establishments in Hamburg that are up to the challenges of not only running a normal restaurant but also serving people who need a lot of help competently and lovingly. What is also remarkable is the quick recognition of situations in which help is required. It's always nice to spend time in the Martini Restaurant.
