Balkan cuisine as it should be. Simply delicious and hearty. Super juicy ražnjići, delicious Djuvec rice, homemade coleslaw. And the best onion soup in town.

We have been guests at the Marjan Grill for decades and have celebrated many family celebrations there. Unfortunately we discovered today that the quality of the food is no longer as good as it used to be. We thought that was a shame. ☹️

The service and the ambience are really very good! Although it doesn't look like it from the outside. I missed a certain kick when eating, but it was fresh, nicely prepared and tasty.

I've lived around the corner here for a few years and have always walked past this restaurant. This time I wanted to eat a good steak and went there. The fillet steak was just perfect, tasty and soft, very juicy and ideally seasoned. Within a few minutes he was gone, as you can see in the photo)). Very good, come again!

Very cozy Croatian restaurant directly below the Bellevue SBahn station. The food was very good and the portions were really large even if you ordered something “small”. Very friendly service, everything neat and clean. Everyone likes to climb again.

If you are looking for a good barbecue this is the place. So far the best meat I have in Berlin. It is very hard to find a place in Berlin with this meat quality, juicy, tender and tasty. It is totally worth the price.

Everything new at Marjan Grill. Nice, new interior. Great food, nice service. Vegetarians prefer to eat elsewhere. :-) Schnapps etc. Everything was great.

If you go without a table reservation, you have to wait. The menu has a lot of meat, a variety of fish and very few vegetarian dishes. If you're slightly hungry, there are starters and around 10 small dishes. I would have currywurst with rice, but I could also have chosen fries.

Great vibe, traditional music. The waiters are actual Croatians and friendly. Food is hearty and delicious. Portions are huge. I had the Muckalica.

Top restaurant, everything is always very tasty and the side salad has green beans like nuts. We come at least once a month, we love Croatian cuisine

I've eaten many times in Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Bosnia and I haven't eaten such bad čevapćići for a long time. If they're pricy, I expect quality. Also, how can you fail at making a wiener schnitzel? The prices in menu were lower than they actually were on the bill - instead of 21 euros I had to pay 24! The same for everything (water, coffee, salad ...). The total came around 50 euro - a scam, in which they included mayonaise (literally, why?). And coffee was a total wrack, not even made from a coffee machine.

As a balkan i know how balkan meat should taste, this sadly wasn't even close. Čevapčici tasted like they were thrown from the freezer to the gril and then to my plate. I can guarantee you that if you go to any restaurant in balkan you will get much better čevapčići. Food costed more on the bill than on the menu (21/24), also many other secret costs, adding to the prices that were already through the roof. If you like the food here, you will be blessed with food in balkans.

Very cozy, very friendly staff, good and beautifully served dishes. Small but very well maintained sanitary rooms. Here the owner strives to ensure satisfied guests. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.

I was very disappointed today by the arrogant waiter who didn't think he wanted to serve us today. It's a shame but this was our last visit

Very bad service, I ordered a platter, I told them twice on the phone that there was no liver on the platter and that they should instead put breaded schnitzel on it. In the end they didn't pack any schnitzel at all, just liver 🥴🥴.

Quaint restaurant in the S-Bahn arches. In the past we would have called them Yugoslavs but that is now a thing of the past. Service was attentive and quick. Food plentiful and really tasty. Price/service still okay.

After renovations, the restaurant has become brighter and more pleasant. The food is good and the selection is plentiful. I will now go there more often.

I came here with high expectations, but was unfortunately disappointed. First the positive: Nice, hospitable and attentive service. The portion was large and the beer was cold. Now to the food: The salad was barely dressed and not seasoned, the fries were soft, the chevape and the meat were dry. I wasn't impressed with the taste either. Yes, it may be authentic cuisine, but you can do it better at home on the grill.

We were there with six people, had reserved in advance and got a nice place. I've always had good food at Croatians, but not here. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Taking the order was also relatively quick. The selection of starters was manageable, the goulash soup was at least half from a can, the salami tended to be from discounters. We had game plates, pasta and grilled plates...game and pasta were still ok, but the grilled plates, which are supposed to be typically Croatian, were quite disappointing. Frozen vegetables, carelessly overcooked rice, a few fries that were soggy due to the sauce, the cevapchichi from some ready-made package, the pork dry, the skewer so tough that small steaks, although well grilled, but probably from the frozen food, because very muddy. Everything was seasoned well, but the quality was a disaster. If you look at it all, you don't need a chef, just someone to heat up the food. Without the charcoal grill, it would have passed for canteen food. The service stopped after the food was there, i.e. drinks or dessert were no longer requested, and no one was really interested in whether it was tasty, so you can't say anything about that. The dessert was just like the grill plate, everything was quick, without having any idea how good a pancake can taste...

We were there again today (October 27th, 2024) and it was as always - simply great. We were lucky and got a table for two people without a reservation. This time in the “next room”. It can be a bit louder than in the front of the main room. But that's not a problem at all. Everyone is friendly, even warm. The food is great, the salad is always fresh and absolutely delicious. Today we had the fillet toast and Czikosch - we can only recommend all of them. We always feel very comfortable here. Many thanks to the entire team.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service is very friendly. The food is in great need of improvement and the menu is far too large. A mistake that many restaurants make. Given the variety of dishes, using frozen food is almost a requirement. Sometimes less is more. My gypsy plate (yes, it's actually still called that there) consisted of a pork skewer, a currywurst (!?), fries and rice. The skewer was good, the currywurst without color was briefly heated in the deep fryer. The butter beans my companion ordered came when the schnitzel was almost eaten. The beans were also frozen and sprinkled with fondor and not warm either. The sauce for the paprika schnitzel still contained lumps of undissolved spices, the croquettes (ordered separately because you can hardly get them anywhere else) may have seen the deep fryer once. But I don't think it was that evening. Not at all crispy as you would expect, they were flabby and tasted more floury than potatoes. Plus they weren't warm either. It's a shame, even nice service can't make up for it. We won't be visiting this restaurant again

We come to the Marjan Grill to eat once a year and like every time, we were absolutely satisfied again today. Very friendly service, super tasty platter for two and the fries also impressed the children. We are already looking forward to next year!

Very modern restaurant. You feel very comfortable. And then also in a light rail arch. The food was great and the service was very friendly. Any time. The only downside is that it is located in a parking management zone.

This restaurant has a S-Bahn feeling, after all it is located in the S-Bahn arch. In any case, you can find the best Ćevapčići in Berlin here. The rest of the food is also first class.

The restaurant makes a good first impression. We were seated comfortably and the acoustics weren't too loud, even though all the seats were occupied (reservations are recommended). We were served quickly. Due to the abundance, we were unfortunately not asked for any additional drinks. Our meat was amazing and highly recommended. I would stay away from the vegetables a bit.

Super tasty. No waiting list. Fast and friendly service. Nothing to complain about. Been here again after 7 years! Food was great again and the conditions went like clockwork! Now it certainly won't take that long until the next visit!

We ate here again on September 11th, 2021 after what felt like an eternity (5 years). The food was delicious and moderately priced, and the service was friendly. The new ambience is a success. We have known this restaurant since 1988 and the quality is always consistently good. We'll be back but not for another 5 years.

Discovered by chance under the arches of the Bellevue S-Bahn station, went in and came out thrilled. Very attentive and friendly staff, quick and clearly freshly prepared Croatian food that tasted delicious. I had the liver from the grill, which was a delight because it was grilled to perfection. Plus fried onions and fresh, crispy fries. I will remember this restaurant for my next visit to Berlin!

Very tasteful Croatian food with free Kruschkovac.

Yesterday there were 5 of us at Marjan with a toddler. We were warmly welcomed and were able to get a table without a reservation. The atmosphere in the restaurant is super nice. The S-Bahn runs above it, which doesn't bother you at all but rather adds some Berlin charm. The owners are very friendly. Our order was taken quickly and the food came quickly. The food is absolutely recommended. We all had different dishes and all of us were more than satisfied. The dishes were all delicious, beautifully presented and the side salad was also super fresh. We can only recommend Marjan.

Consistent quality for DECADES, but the most important thing is the family character

Food is great and tastes good. Portions plentiful. When the weather is good, I recommend the outdoor terrace. Service was friendly and quick despite the seats being full. Prices moderate. Always happy.

Beautiful, modern, air-conditioned Croatian restaurant, with comfortable benches and armchairs, in the Bellevue S-Bahn arches. Meat was good, fries a bit hard. Salad only with vinegar and boring. Very expensive.

Best Croatian restaurant in Berlin so far, unfortunately the prices have risen sharply and some of the staff have been replaced in the last few months. The food still tastes good. As regular customers, I and my friends are of the opinion that the portions have become smaller. All in all: ambience, service, taste very good. Prices overpriced due to the adjusted, clear portions. We come to this restaurant a little less often.

After the meat quality of the cevapcici had completely deteriorated, we had raznjici yesterday and were totally disappointed not to enjoy this meat either, just a lot of low-quality pork with fat and fat. Unfortunately we can no longer recommend the Marjan Grill.

Tasty, cheap, super-friendly service and nice atmosphere. Just the right portions and an extensive menu. Something tasty for everyone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😀
