Great meze and lovely staff. The çig köfte was amazing. The homemade Ayran tastes lovely We had a great bite with 7 people from Turkish origin who also enjoyed it a lot.

Ordered a Kokoreç and an Ali Nazik here. Kokoreç was quite dry, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Ali Nazik, on the other hand, resembled a poem. The meat was perfectly grilled and the garlic eggplant sauce tasted outstanding.

The store itself is really beautifully designed and tries to leave a well-kept impression on the outside. However, on May 1, 2025, an employee - possibly even the owner (just a guess) - was sitting outside, drinking his Çay and smoking a cigarette. When he was finished, he carelessly threw the cigarette and the packaging onto the street - quite naturally. Absolutely inappropriate behavior. When a woman got up from the next table and put the packaging back on the table, the staff initially reacted correctly: They asked the gentleman to come inside the shop. At first it seemed like they wanted to handle the situation properly. But a short time later the gentleman returned and sat down again in the same place. The woman and her companion were then asked by staff to leave the table. Does this mean the store condones or supports pollution? Such behavior is disappointing. If dealing with guests looks like this, I don't even want to imagine what it's like behind the scenes, for example in the kitchen. Unfortunately I can only give this experience 0 out of 5 stars.

When we first entered the restaurant, we were welcomed well, but unfortunately our subsequent experience was very negative. The taste of kokoreç was well below our expectations and unfortunately it spilled on us while the table was being cleared. One of my friends was even addressed in an inappropriate manner. Even when the bill was paid, a rude communication style occurred again. The general behavior of the waiter who looked after us was not pleasant. I think more emphasis should be placed on customer satisfaction and respect.

I just bought 5 wraps. But it would have been better if I had thrown away my money. I really wonder how a person can make wraps that make the meat so messy. Really disappointing….

We went as a group of four, based on the high Google rating. Even though we were late for our reservation, we called and they were kind enough to accommodate us. The staff were polite and helpful at the beginning. However, after serving the food, it felt like we were forgotten. As a Turkish person living in Munich, I have never really liked any of the Turkish restaurants there. I thought I would finally have the great Turkish food in Berlin, but it was disappointing. That said, it was still better than any Turkish restaurant I have tried in Munich. We started with a ‘meze plate’. Except for the carrot tarator (which was just mayonnaise.. ) and the hummus (which was too sweet..), the rest was decent. We ordered a ‘three lahmacun’ as starter too, but they were indistinguishable from frozen ones, very disappointing. Our main dishes were Beyti, a lamb Iskender (since they were out of döner), and a mixed grill. The Beyti was okay. The lamb in the Iskender was flavorful. In the mixed grill, the liver was quite dry, and strangely, the Adana kebab had carrots in it, I have never seen carrots in Adana kebab before. Both were honestly very bad. The lamb was well-cooked, and the chicken wings was nice. I do not recommend to order the mixed kebab because half of the plate is not good. Overall, I satisfied my curiosity. If this place were in Munich, I might visit again. But if I lived in Berlin or if this restaurant were in Turkey, I would not go back.

We had high expectations based on the many positive reviews, but were unfortunately disappointed. The chicken was undercooked on the inside, while the remaining meat on the outside was badly burnt and almost looked like coal. The portions were rather small for the price and the bulgur was unfortunately cold. The staff was friendly, but that couldn't save the overall impression. The ayran was very tasty, the beyti was okay and much better compared to the meat. The restaurant is stylishly decorated, but based on our experience we wouldn't come back to eat there again.

I come from Frankfurt and visited numerous restaurants during my stay in Berlin - but this one clearly stands out from all the others. The food was exceptionally good: freshly prepared, tasted excellent and prepared with great attention to detail. Each dish was a little highlight in itself. You can immediately feel that quality and authenticity are the focus here. I would also particularly like to highlight the service. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and professional. I felt welcome and well looked after from the start. Overall, visiting this restaurant was a real experience. If you are looking for a special culinary moment in Berlin, I can only warmly recommend this house. I will definitely come back. Thank you.

Nice kokoreç, as good as in Türkiye.

At first, they were welcomed well, but then they acted harshly. The waiters looked at the place, don't be fooled, go try the kokoreç. It was tasteless, we didn't like it at all. I passed on that. There were no napkins, toothpicks, etc. on the table. There wasn't even a candy tablecloth. We ate on plain paper. When we asked for a napkin, they only gave us 1 napkin. I didn't understand why we have to go to the sink to wipe our hands for 3 people. I recommend that the tables be arranged urgently. As a waiter working in a hotel, I think it will not be like this. I recommend the change!!!!

The Mardin restaurant in Neukölln is a Turkish restaurant next to Hermannplatz. If you want to eat authentic Turkish food, there are a few neighborhoods in Berlin but there are a lot of good options around Herrmannplatz / Sonnenallee. There are really good grilled dishes here in Mardin too. The four of us had lunch there on Christmas Day 2024 and it was still quite empty. The staff was very friendly, gave us good advice about the food and we decided on a large plate for 2 people + a Sis Tavuk. The waitress offered to serve everything on the large platter, which we gratefully accepted. The plate for 2 people is easily enough for 3 adults. The four of us still had a lot left over, which we then packed up so we could eat it at home later. The taste was excellent, the different types of meat (Adana, Sis Tavuk, and Adana in a dough coating were super juicy and well seasoned, the salad was fresh and with a delicious dressing and the flatbread was nice and “chewy”, just the way I like it.

We had İşkembe, Kelle Paça, Kokoreç & Mumbar We can recommend everything, except for the kokoreç, which was quite well filled, but there was too much bread or dough in the bread. So the taste wasn't 100% evident. The waitress was relatively unfriendly, maybe he was having a bad day or was tired because it was already after 11 p.m FYI: We paid €29.90 for 2 kokoreç & 1 mumbar.

The food is really very good. Unlike other Turkish restaurants, Mardin Restaurant offers some different dishes. It was very busy on the weekend, so reservations are recommended.

I ate there with two friends on Saturday and had stomach pain and loose stools two days later As I noticed. That's where you go if you want to show something, so it really doesn't taste like it seems. You wait a really long time, but the waiters are really very very friendly, you have to give them credit for that otherwise I won't go there again and won't recommend it.

We tried kokoreç and stuffed mussels, and were generally satisfied. Kokoreç was cooked well, neither too oily nor dry, and the seasoning was just right. The mussels were also fresh but could have been a little more plump. The service was really fast, our order arrived quickly. The environment of the place was simple and clean, and the employees were attentive. Prices are reasonable. It's a place worth trying for kokoreç lovers.

The food was freshly prepared, the staff was friendly, but not interested if the food was to our satisfaction. The meat meal was far too greasy, the bulgur had completely soaked in the oil/butter, costed 24,-€. The mixed salat (main course) was 60% onion, 5% tomatoes, and 35% lettuce. Also very greasy and costs 9,90€. The ambiance was cold, and there were too many tables put in the room. Overall not a good experience, which was way too expensive.

The portions are generous and attractively designed. The lamb chops are among the best I've ever eaten, although some dishes have too much sugar (syrup?), especially the salads and cig köfte. The service, on the other hand, is nothing to complain about; you never have to call someone over, because the waitress comes by regularly to check that everything is going well (that's how it should be). Ambiance: too narrow for my taste, i.e. too many tables in the room. But if you like it...

This is the second time I've been here in a year. I've never met chefs who prepare meat as poorly as they do here. It feels like déjà vu. On the first visit the meat was already burnt and although I complained about it, it was served burnt again. When eating it, I really couldn't detect any flavor due to the charred meat. Please change the chef or listen to the customers. The same was true for the Kokoreç. It was cold inside too. The only positive things were the friendliness of the waiters and the delicious rice pudding.🤦🏽

There is a huge difference between the Mardin restaurant of 1 year ago and the current restaurant. If they reduced the portions a little more, the plate would disappear. Instead of a porcelain plate, the meals are served on a plastic melamine-style plate. There is no salad, no rice, etc., the quality of everything has decreased greatly, and you have to pay an undeserved amount. You are getting up. It was a place we loved going with our family and friends, but not anymore.

I went to this restaurant today with two friends and had an extremely disappointing and shocking experience. We had to wait over an hour to get a table. After this long wait we were informed that we wouldn't get a table because we were only men. I found this statement to be deeply discriminatory and racist. The employee was also extremely rude and disrespectful. I've been to this restaurant several times and have to say that while the food was always good, the service was consistently bad. But today the service was an absolute disaster and exceeded all limits. It's clear to me: I will never visit this restaurant again. Anyone who treats their guests like this doesn't deserve customers. Racism and rudeness seem to have a system here. Absolutely not recommended!

I was very positively surprised. It was my birthday. The food was very, very tasty. At the end I wanted künefa and mocha coffee. They didn't have either but they surprised me with a rice pudding with 2 candles. That was very sweet with the happy birthday song and applause. I thank you very much.

The Mardin restaurant in Berlin Kreuzberg offers an uncomplicated and cozy atmosphere. The Kelle Paça soup was okay and cost 7€. Unfortunately, some of the greens seemed weak and not particularly fresh. The bread, on the other hand, tasted good and was a pleasant complement to the soup. Overall, Mardin in Kreuzberg offers a solid meal at a reasonable price.

The three of me had dinner at Mardin today and I can only say bad things for the most part. The food was really top but the service was really poor. We were treated rudely and badly and you gave us a seat at the waiting area where, for larger groups, you offer a good seat in 1-5 minutes and when we asked we were told that it was completely full and there were only seats with reservations there was something that wasn't right. It was very uncomfortable to eat in the waiting area as everyone walks past and looks over and the heat from the grill didn't make it any better. All in all, you need to work hard on their service and the politeness of the employees.

The mussels were tasteless, we ate 10 stuffed mussels for 1 Euro each, but the waiters saw it as a small order and served us with a sullen face. They also complain to Google and try to have the comments deleted. I don't recommend you to be deceived by the score. (This experience of mine is from 7-8 months ago. The reason why I am writing a comment now is because they are trying to complain about the comment and have it deleted)

An amazing Turkish restaurant with delicious food that is beautifully presented. The portions are generous, and every dish comes with a side of salad and bread. The Ayran is incredibly tasty, imo it is the best in Berlin. And you should definitely try the Mezze 🫓🥰

Tripe and lentil soup is nice. Turnip is beautiful. Beyti kebab is also good, but unfortunately I did not like the kokoreç and mussels. Prices are too high especially for mussels. The service is nice.
