Unfortunately very disappointing. I've been going to Little India regularly for 5 years and have always loved the butter chicken and the price has always been worth it to me. Unfortunately they probably changed the recipe or the chef? However it doesn't taste like it used to, it tastes like a completely different dish. A pity :(

Was there often before. Very disappointing for the second time now. Chicken Korma consists of three small pieces of meat that taste like nothing, a very thin sauce that is also tasteless. Plus a ladle of rice and the whole thing for 18 euros to pick up yourself...

Very nice Indian restaurant with great food, not run-of-the-mill, friendly service and good prices. Visiting with a dog is no problem. But you should make a reservation, especially on the weekend. The hot pans are recommended and also naan bread with garlic. There are enough parking spaces around. All free of charge, with a parking disc for 2 hours if necessary.

I recommend this place to everyone who doesn't know Indian cuisine. Very tasty food, generous portions, served by very nice staff. I RECOMMEND

See a delicious Indian restaurant in Vaterstetten. Easily accessible by car or on foot, including from the train station. Roadside parking is sometimes a bit scarce. Toilets are not barrier-free. The food is perfect, the prices are mid-range. The combination of dishes is possible without any problems. The service is very courteous and has a big smile on their faces. I like to go here!

The food is delivered hot in specially made iron bowls on wooden boards. Simply delicious.

We always had nice experience before, but last couple of times there were issues. Last time waiter tried to put 235 EUR in invoice instead of 135 Previous time there was a piece of packaging in food A bit pity since it was always perfect experience before

The Indian restaurant Little India in Vaterstetten is simply great! The food is very tasty and authentic, you can taste the fresh spices and the variety of flavors. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, they make you feel completely comfortable. The location of the restaurant is also great, cozy and inviting. I highly recommend Little India if you want to enjoy Indian food in a great atmosphere!

The best place to be in Munich for North Indian food. There is no restaurant even close to its delightful food and the friendly Staff. Have been there a 1000 times now and the quality is always world-class. This place is a must when you are in Munich. Hats off to Little India for everything. 👍👍👍

We were here with the whole family, wanted to eat Indian food again after a long time and I have to say that Little India surprised us very positively. Even though the restaurant was full we were warmly welcomed, the staff was very friendly and the food was simply to die for. We can't wait to come back. Keep it up 👍🏼

We have eaten at Little India several times and have always been satisfied. The service is always very friendly, the food is always freshly prepared and the waiting times are okay. The price has become a little more expensive, but is still acceptable. Sometimes things get a bit hectic or it gets quite warm in the dining room, but when there's a lot going on, that's hard to avoid. We will come back in any case!

Unfortunately everything is very close together, there is a lot of background noise the starter was at the table before the drinks. Would be from food Really good but unfortunately the seating was far too narrow.

Really recommended. You will be greeted warmly at the door. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. An excellent service. A great menu. The food was excellent. There are coloring books etc. for children Dogs are also allowed into the restaurant, which unfortunately is no longer allowed everywhere these days. For many people, dogs are simply part of the family. I really really liked it there. I will definitely go there more often.

I find the real turtles very interesting and the fish in the aquariums are beautiful and in great shape

We had dinner here for the first time yesterday. The food was really good, large enough portions, certainly belongs to the upper middle class, so far so good. Now comes the but: The seating was relatively tight (possibly due to Valentine's Day), not really comfortable. The biggest problem, however, was the lack of ventilation, which meant that after a while you were sitting in a sauna with Indian spice infusion - the clothes still smell like that today, including the jackets, so the washing machine was a lot of work can look forward to. In addition, the service was sometimes unfriendly and completely overwhelmed. Drinks and dishes were brought to the wrong tables, we received our starter completely late and only after we had almost finished the main course. To save my honor, I would like to point out that the starter was on the house.

The best Indian I've ever been to. Portions not too big. At other Indian restaurants I always end up almost too full. Not here. Got a table spontaneously. Served quickly. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty. There are enough dishes for carnivores and vegetarians.

01.11.2023, Ein tolles, sehr freundliches und bemühtes Team. Das Essen war lecker, die Toiletten nicht neu aber sauber und ein angenehmer Duft. Dort kann man eine Familienfeier machen. Weiter so. Wenn man zuviel bestellt, gerne mitnehmen, wird super verpackt.

Sie haben uns knapp 10 Minuten in der Leitung hängen lassen um uns dann schließlich mitzuteilen dass sie heute Abend keine Plätze mehr haben Punkt das hätten wir gerne etwas schneller gehabt, halten wir auch nicht für kundenfreundlich Punkt scheinbar haben sie ja so auch schon genug zu tun und sind wahrscheinlich nicht traurig wenn sie nicht in der Liste der Restaurants die wir noch besuchen müssen auftauchen

Eine super leckeres Restaurant mit vielen verschiedenen Gerichten. Für jeden was dabei. Ein Lob an die Dame (Bedienung) mit den schwarzen Haaren. Super freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt! Dies war unser erster Besuch und wir sind gerne erneut dort.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants for Indian food.The food is delicious with good quantity.The owner and the staff are very generous, kind and accommodating.It is value for money and the ambiance of this place is good as well.They do not serve Samosas or chats.Other than that I would suggest to try the starters and curries, along with some mango lassi.

This is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant for North Indian cuisine in Munich and surroundings. Living in various parts of Germany for over 1.5 decades, I was usually disappointed with Indian restaurants here till we came across this one in Vaterstetten, near Munich. The owner is extremely guest oriented and welcomes you with a smile+Namaste and makes you feel home. He recommends and customises dashes based on your suggestions. I urge the team to continue the effort and win more loyal customers 🙂

Super leckeres Essen, was auch relativ schnell kam. Leider saßen wir dann gute 30 Minuten vor unseren leeren Tellern und konnten weder noch etwas zu trinken bestellen noch nach der Rechnung bitten - erst mit Gang zum Tresen konnte ich auf uns aufmerksam machen - schade, da das Essen echt top war und wir auch beim Gehen nicht mehr verabschiedet worden sind

Waren auf der Durchreise und haben zuvor schon telefonisch reserviert, anhand der tollen Bewertungen. Das Restaurant war so gut wie voll, zurecht. Also vorher reservieren. Sehr freundliches Personal, und zwar alle, stets bemüht. Hatte auch den Eindruck, der Gast wird noch ehrlich geschätzt. Obwohl die Räumlichkeit selbst etwas älter ist, ist das Restaurant sehr gepflegt, ordentliche Bänke und Stühle, sehr hübsch eingedeckter sauberer Tisch, sauberer Eindruck. Die Lokalität ist vom Raum relativ groß und von daher, ist es bei vollem Haus etwas lauter. War für uns aber nicht störend oder zu extrem. Nach der Bestellung kam sogleich die Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses, Knabberbrot mit Dips. Und ohne Wartezeit kam schon der bestellte Vorspeiseteller und gleich darauf der Hauptgang. Das Essen war mehr lecker, Sonderwünsche auch kein Problem. Speisekarte für jeden Geschmack ausreichend Auswahl. Zu den Gerichten gibt es Reis, Naan haben wir dazu bestellt. Essen aus Tandoori Ofen und auch das Curry waren geschmacklich sehr zu empfehlen. Falls wir wieder auf der Durchreise sind, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Dieses indische Restaurant kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

Wir haben mit großem Glück noch einen Platz im sehr gut besuchten Restaurant bekommen, welches super schön und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet ist. Die Bedienung war total freundlich und das Essen einfach nur mega lecker. Ein perfekter Start in unser Forchheim-Wochenende.

Selten haben wir so gut gegessen. Die Wartezeit wurde durch einen netten Gruß aus der Küche überbrückt. Ein Maleur der Küche wurde später mit großer Kulanz ausgeglichen. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Kleinigkeiten die nachwirken, vorher ein Lächeln und eine Vorspeise aufs Haus, hinterher ein Likör zum Abschluss. Rundum positiv, aufmerksames Personal, sehr leckeres Essen, Lamm, viel Auswahl und zentral am Bahnhof gelegen, ohne das dies störend ist. In diesem ländlichen Raum sicherlich eine gute Alternative zu Weißwurst und Sparerips.

Today, 02.03.2021, I wanted to order a takeaway. Luckily I asked the price when I called to order. The price for a Chicken Curry with rice is 13.90€ which is the same price that I would pay, in normal times, for eating in the restaurant. I drove the same distance, from where I live, in the opposite direction and paid 8.50€ for the same meal.

Alle jammern sie, die Gastronomen. Von dir Wirt vom Augustiner Klosterwirt, bis zu dir Jazzbarbesitzer im Glockenbach. Oder du Wirt vom Glockenspiel. Was machst du eigentlich gerade so? Naja, jedenfalls ist das Little India in Vaterstetten auf Zack, und beliefert seine Kundschaft mit leckerem indischen Essen. In jedem Fall bei gutem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Natürlich kann der Verfasser nicht beurteilen ob es sich tatsächlich um authentisch indisches Essen handelt. Weil er war noch nie in Indien. Und fährt da vermutlich auch nicht hin. Deswegen: Little India ist eine gute Alternative.

Zählt für mich mit zu den besten indischen Restaurants in München und auch so einfach klingende Gerichte wie "Butter Chicken" schmecken unwahrscheinlich gut...

Alles sehr lecker, vor allem das Lamm. Die diversen Nans sind fantastisch. Der Mittagstisch ist außerordentlich günstig. Einer der Kellner kommt leider etwas unhöflich rüber.

My boyfriend and I wanted to go out for Dinner on our first day in Bavaria (after a 7-hour car ride) and decided on some Indian food, since the restaurant was only a 10 minute ride from our hotel. This was the best decision we could've made. The food was amazing, the staff super friendly and competent and the location very nice. As appetizer we were served some crisp bread with 3 different dips, which were very tasty - and on the house. We had some grilled lamb and veggies with a Tomato-Sauce and flavourful basmati rice (couldn't figure out the spices used though) and chicken curry with naan (instead of rice). I'll definitely go there again, when I'm around the area again.

Both, vegetarian and meat based dishes have been in Terms of prasentation and taste were excellent. Our Indian friends rated Little India as one of the best Indian Restaurants in the Munich Fast region

Wir waren auf der Suche auf einem Inder in unserer Nähe und sind auf das Little India gestoßen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und auch die Auswahl (vor allem auch an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten) war toll. Am Schluss gab es sogar noch ein Getränk aufs Haus. Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

We visited "Little India" with my family who live nearby, it is one of their favorite restaurant too. We had the most amazing and delicious dinner. The food is fresh and very good, true Indian cuisine in fact I can honestly say that it was best Indian restaurant I have ever dined in. The staff is very friendly and the service was outstanding. Cant wait to go back. Every time I visit Germany this restaurant will be on my list and I look forward to have another wonderful dinner there.

we love eating Indian food and while there are a lot of options in this area, we are mostly left dissapointed. We were completely delighted to find Little India (by chance) and very grateful that we gave it a shot! the food is really EXCELLENT. We had chicken pokoras and papadamns to start, followed by the lamb tika (excellent! the sauce that accompanied it was really fresh and tasty, and not watery like in a lot of other places, the lamb was so well seasoned and perfectly cooked/tender) and the butter chicken along with naan bread! we cant wait to go back!

Went here with a large group of friends while visiting for Oktoberfest. I didn't expect my first time trying Indian food would be in Germany but I'm glad it was! All the appetizers were delicious as was my main dish (one of the chicken kebabs with spinach and ginger I think). The staff were friendly and attentive also.
