Super netter Service, tolles Essen 👍

Schmeckt nicht wie selbstgemacht, sondern eher wie Mikrowellenessen. Der Reis war alt oder nicht gar und das Curry verwässert, der Geschmack eher fad, aber nicht furchtbar. Das Mango-Lassy war okay.

Tolles Restaurant an der Schiffanlegestelle in Limburg. Bei bestem Wetter saßen wir auf der Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf die Lahn. Es gibt indische und deutsche Küchenfenster der Speisekarte. Die Speisen sind sehr schmackhaft und werden zügig serviert. Das Personal ist freundlich. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Sehr gutes ,authentisches,indisches Essen,was in indischen Restaurants nicht immer der Fall ist!!! Freundliche Bedienung und ein herrlicher Blick von der Terrasse auf die Lahn.Wir waren zu sechs Personen und alle waren hochzufrieden.

Etwas am Rand von Limburg gelegen, dafür an der Lahn und mit Ausblick auf den Fluss. Freundlicher Umgang mit den Gästen, Speisekarte ist gut, insbesondere das Chicken Curry bringt uns immer wieder hier her. Parken an der Straße ist abends möglich, tagsüber kann das etwas schwierig werden.

Gutes Essen mit freundlichem Service. Die Nähe zur Lahn lässt uns gerne mit Gästen hierher kommen.

Ich liebe es! Ich esse zum ersten Mal indisch und es schmeckt mir sehr gut. Alles war leer.

Leider eine große Enttäuschung. Wir haben hier Essen bestellt. Selten so lieblos gesehen. Siehe Bilder. Dafür werden 13 Euro berechnet. Die Portion Schnitzel mit Pommes war winzig. Das indische Essen war leider geschmacklich nicht gut.

Dieses Restaurant vereint indische und deutsche Küche auf wirklich höchstem Niveau – und das spürt man in jedem einzelnen Gericht. Die Speisen sind außergewöhnlich hochwertig, mit fein abgestimmten Kräutern und Gewürzen, wie wir es so noch in keinem indischen Restaurant erlebt haben. Die Aromen sind intensiv, aber gleichzeitig harmonisch und sehr edel. Besonders beeindruckend ist, dass auch die deutschen Gerichte – wie zum Beispiel das Schnitzel – perfekt zubereitet sind. Hier wird nichts halbherzig gemacht, sondern beide Küchenrichtungen werden mit viel Können und Liebe umgesetzt. Der Service der indischen Familie ist herzlich, aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Ein echtes Highlight ist zudem die Lage: Der Blick auf die Lahn ist einfach grandios und macht den Besuch zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Parkmöglichkeiten sind bequem in der Nähe auf der Straße vorhanden. Ein rundum außergewöhnliches Restaurant, das Genuss, Qualität und Atmosphäre perfekt verbindet – absolut empfehlenswert! ✨

Hier gibt es einfach super leckeres indisches Essen. Wenn wir mal in Limburg sind, dann müssen wir immer einmal mindestens bei diesem Inder essen!!!

Sehr freundliches Personal, viel Plätze frei, vorzügliches Essen, reichhaltige Auswahl, die Speisen sind preislich absolut annehmbar, die Portionen sind riesig. Hier komme ich gerne wieder!

Das Essen dort ist Mega lecker und der Service ist top! Das Interieur ist wunderschön geschmückt. Im Hintergrund läuft schöne indische Musik und die Atmosphäre allgemein ist verzückend. Mega empfehlenswert!!! Werde hier sowas von Stammkunde jeder Cent hat sich gelohnt!!!!!!

Leider eine große Enttäuschung. Obwohl man offenbar versucht, gutes indisches Essen anzubieten, scheitert es hier deutlich an der Umsetzung. Ich habe bereits in vielen indischen Restaurants gegessen und weiß, wie vielfältig diese Küche sein kann – das hier war mit Abstand das schlechteste indische Essen, das ich bisher hatte. Bei unserem Besuch mit 12 Personen waren gegen 20 Uhr lediglich vier weitere Gäste im Restaurant, was bereits ein schlechtes Zeichen war. Dieses Gefühl bestätigte sich leider vollständig beim Essen: Der Reis war trocken, die Soßen kaum gewürzt und trotz ausdrücklichem Wunsch nicht scharf. Geschmacklich hätte man bei einer Blindverkostung kaum erkannt, dass es sich um indische Küche handelt. Der Service wirkte durchgehend sehr ernst und angespannt, Freundlichkeit oder ein Lächeln waren Fehlanzeige. Insgesamt besteht hier massiver Verbesserungsbedarf – sowohl beim Essen als auch beim Service. Sehr schade, hier ist noch sehr viel Luft nach oben.

Daa Restaurant entspricht nicht meinem Geschmack. Das Essen empfand ich als eher durchschnittlich. Die Bedienung eine Kellnerin unsympathisch. Das Lokal ist ziemlich veraltet. Für mich gibt es keinen zweiten Besuch dort.

Super nettes Personal und sehr gutes Essen.

Hier bekommt man richtig gutes indisches Essen. Die Vorspeisen waren schon außergewöhnlich gut und die Hauptspeisen so reichhaltig, dass wir den Rest einpacken ließen. Die Bedienungen sind allesamt sehr freundlich.

Die Bezeichnung "Deutsch-indische Küche" könnte den Eindruck erwecken, dass hier nicht Halbes und nichts Ganzes gemacht wird. Aber das indische Essen ist hervorragend und vielseitig. Ein paar mehr Gerichte aus dem Tandoori wären schön, aber das Angebot ist wirklich gut. Jederzeit wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Pikant gewürzt, aber nicht übertrieben. Der Service wahr meiner Meinung nach genau richtig. Nicht zu aufdringlich, aber zuvorkommend.

We were in Limburg on a whim and ended up here. The service was super friendly and helped us choose. We found the food truly delicious and will definitely stop by again on our next visit to Limburg.

First time having had Indian food in Germany after having lived in Bahrain for many years. We were lucky and seated outdoors with an awesome river view. The food was incredibly good combined with an outstanding service and the location made this a very special experience. What I was impressed with most was when I asked for a proper Chai tea (which wasn't on the menu) I got one of the most aromatic chai experiences ever. I'm very happily going back to this restaurant (and that won't be taking too long :-) )

We discovered this restaurant by chance. From the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the Lahn River. The selection of vegetarian dishes was extensive, and there were also some vegan options on the menu – as well as various meat dishes. After our starter, which was already delicious with the two different dips, our main course arrived quite quickly. Both dishes were delicious and served with a pot of rice. The service was also pleasant.

Super delicious and very friendly service. Our son (3 years old) spilled a mango lassi all over himself. Since his pants were completely soaked, we took them off. The waitress – I assume the owner too – saw this and offered us a pair of pants that her children weren't wearing. We were even allowed to keep them. I've never experienced anything like it before. Incredibly kind and hospitable.

Unfortunately, we had to retreat inside because there were too many flies outside. But inside, we still had a view of the Lahn. The food arrived very quickly, was hot, and tasted delicious. The service was prompt and friendly.

What a great discovery just outside the city centre! The food here is really fantastic and the customer service is top notch. Although there are not many German dishes on the menu, the ones that are there are incredibly tasty. But the Indian food... that is truly delicious! So full of flavour and perfectly prepared. If I am in the area again, I will definitely come here again to eat. Definitely recommended!

I chose this restaurant based on the good reviews and location. The food was rather mediocre, the atmosphere. really outdated. In addition, they wanted to force us to leave with 15 minutes to go. I found that extremely unpleasant, so she ran to me with the bill, my partner had only gone to the toilet briefly. I think 3 minutes of patience would be appropriate.

The food is always very tasty and we particularly like the good service and friendly approach. The overall package is just right. In summer you can sit on the terrace and look out over the Lahn. We like to come back and always feel very comfortable. My recommendation!

Well, everything is probably still in hibernation, otherwise everything is very dusty. The food comes from the deep fryer, the salad is full of vinegar. The surroundings are wonderful. We were missing the sun. At 6 degrees and an easterly wind it is simply unpleasant outside.

We feel deceived. 1. I had spicy chilli chicken in a special red chilli sauce. I recognized the sauce immediately because of its extreme sweetness. It comes from an Asian store and is called "sweet chili sauce for chicken" 2.My wife had Chicken Tikka Massala, marinated chicken fillet grilled in the tandoor. Absolute disgrace because the meat was neither marinated nor grilled in the tandoor. Quality frozen! I asked the owners directly that my sauce was Asian style and that there was probably no tandoor oven. I offered to go into the kitchen to look at the tandoor oven. After that, the owner couldn't speak German anymore, waved her off and left. I should wait, what did I ask? No answer. The children who were there and spoke German very well suddenly disappeared. The cook looked out the door and gave me an angry look. I don't want to offend anyone who writes here "Good, very good food", but that has nothing to do with Indian cuisine. Spices are mixtures, cumin overdosed, everything tastes like curry. We love Indian food and have been to almost every continent, you should be ashamed! No Indian would praise the food there! This is seasoned for Germans. There was no accommodation when it came to the bill either, it was dishonorable. Tourist rip-off. If the owner responds to my negative review here, I would be happy to come by again to take a look at the tandoor oven and then change my review. @update 2/24/25 Answer: It's not true that we said it tastes good! We didn't eat the food (chicken meat) and the plates were returned half full. I want to see the tandoor oven, nothing else. Since you obviously don't have a tandoor oven, you can't show it, that's what it looks like. You know exactly what I mean and are being stupid again, that's why we are very disappointed!

We ate here for the first time on Saturday. The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed it very much! We'd love to come back!

The restaurant is located on the Lahn. In summer you can dine on the terrace and look out over the Lahn. Lunchtime concerts are also recommended.

Stopped here with colleagues on a company outing. The food was served on different dishes. Regular dishes or pre-portioned on tablets. Had something from airplane or hospital food. But the taste wasn't objectionable.

Very good Indian restaurant on the outskirts of Limburg, right on the Lahn. Outdoor terrace with a view of the Lahn and the campsite. Unfortunately there are relatively few parking options nearby. Very nice and quick service. The food was absolutely delicious with decently large portions. If you like spicy food, this is the place for you. We would like to come back soon

The service is short and doesn't speak or explain anything. The Indian salad was confusing because it had tomatoes, olives and peppers on it.

The worst Indian food I've ever had! I ordered Lamm Palak, but it was overly salty and tasted terrible. We also tried the Lamm Pasanda, but the lamb was of poor quality and undercooked. The mango lassi was made with nectar and was far too sweet, loaded with sugar. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

We have eaten at the Lahn Terrasse restaurant several times now and can really recommend it to everyone. The food is delicious anyway, but the service and friendly manner surpass everything. We always feel welcome and in good hands. Great team keep it up.

Located directly on the Lahn. But if you want to look directly at the Lahn while eating, you're better off making a reservation on the outside terrace. We didn't, but it was still very nice. Service super nice. They often ask how you are doing. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen that often these days. A big compliment at this point. The starter (samosa) was super tasty. Forgot to take a photo. The mint yoghurt with it was very tasty, the mixed pickles with it were quite spicy, but like everything, it's a matter of taste. The rice dish with chicken or lamb is spicy, but not too spicy. The Indian spice mixture is very balanced. There was also Raita. Fits perfectly. The restaurant is easy to reach with wheelchairs via a slant to both the terrace and the interior area. All in all : I was and am completely satisfied and will happily come back. We (2P.) have for 2 drinks 1 starter 2 main courses 2 espressos including tip 55,- paid. I'm quite frugal, but I still think it's completely okay.

Today I had lunch with my wife on the terrace in nice weather with a great view of the Lahn. We were welcomed very nicely. No long waiting times. We had a starter and a main course. Everything was prepared very tasty. Portions are plenty large. Tastes like a dream. Prices are normal. We had 52€ including 3 drinks. The restaurant is highly recommended. The only negative criticism was that I had reserved by email a day in advance and there was no response. We went there anyway. It's all ok.

I've never been to India, but that's how I imagine the atmosphere. We were here with 2 families. Everyone thought it was delicious. The children also chose typical Indian dishes and ate everything completely empty. The landlord was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the food in a calm manner. The quality is very good and the position on the Lahn is simply great. We'll come back again and again...

The food was a disgrace for the price, two schnitzels consisting almost entirely of parmenade for 2-3 euros from the discounter, and a few fries with a carelessly added leaf of salad. For just under 20 🤬 with drinks we had over 100€ for 4 people. The schnitzels were from Lidl or Netto from the refrigerated counter, no sauce, a few onions. Nothing more needs to be said...

We met on December 25th. Have food delivered. It arrived within the specified time and was still hot. The telephone service was also very nice. Now to the most important thing: Even though I'm not actually a fan of Indian food, I was totally pleasantly surprised. It was super delicious and all 5 felt that way. Even the chicken nuggets for the junior weren't cheap stuff from the refrigerated counter but were homemade. Every time again with 5 thumbs up!
