Finally closed. For years, really years, this restaurant has been blocking the entire lower part of the department store, where many seats could otherwise be placed for customers. Now it is finally closed and the space can be put to good use.

We (2 adults, 2 children 8 and 11) were there yesterday as part of an after-work shopping event. Over 500 people were registered for this, and the restaurant offered a 10% discount because of the event, so they were aware of the impending rush. We sat down at 7:30 p.m. It took 20 minutes for a service to arrive, it seemed pretty disorganized even though there wasn't much going on yet. When we ordered drinks we were told that there were no juices today, so just water. For dinner we ordered fries and currywurst with fries for the children, and pumpkin soup and 2 fish burgers for us adults. After almost 30 minutes the drinks arrived, after 50 minutes an apology that it was taking longer, after over 70 minutes the fish burgers. After I ate the burger (this name is flattering, it is a breaded fish fillet that stuck out of the bun on the right and left, with a little tomato, a lettuce leaf and 5mm(!) thick sliced ​​cucumbers and tartar sauce) quickly (there hungry) and the kids got our fries, my wife noticed that her fish was burnt. 80 minutes had now passed and the children were still waiting for fries and currywurst. Then I had enough and went to the checkout to talk to the manager about why children here have to wait over 80 minutes for a simple meal. He couldn't be found for 5 minutes, it turned out that he was calmly wrapping cutlery in napkins in the middle of the restaurant area, while the few completely overwhelmed waiters and a kitchen that was completely understaffed with two people had to pay for his mismanagement and discussed with the waiting customers . I made it clear to the waitresses and the chef that this was not their fault; the manager should have provided more capacity or reduced the number of tables. The chef tried to convince me not to leave immediately, he would make the fries and the currywurst for me straight away. I replied that that was very nice, but my patience was at an end and we would eat somewhere else. There were already two guests at the checkout who had paid by card and wanted their money back after waiting for over half an hour. However, this is apparently not possible with card payments. When the managing director came, he said to these customers that they should please write the address on the receipt and leave it to him so that he would then transfer the money back to the account; the IBAN would be on the front. He points to the transaction date(!). We checked the receipt together and there was no card information to be found on it. The managing director refused a cash refund. The cashier then searched the cash register for the card receipts, found the corresponding receipt with the card details, and a customer agreed to the suggestion. Meanwhile the chef brought me the fries and the currywurst, which was such a great gesture that I couldn't refuse. I brought the food back to the seat and tried to find a waitress to pay while the kids were eating. I managed to do this after about 10 minutes. I made it clear I wouldn't pay for the one burger and the soup never came. I asked if the tip went centrally to the cash register or directly to them (it goes directly to them). I gave a 15% tip, but there wasn't even a "thank you" or anything like that, the receipt was handed over in silence. When we left about 5 minutes later, the waitress ran after us and asked my wife if we had paid. Her hat string almost burst and replied: "Yes, 5 minutes ago, with a tip. Since they didn't even thank you for it, I'm sure." By the way, while we were leaving, the manager was standing calmly in the middle of the restaurant area with cutlery wrapped in napkins.

I asked which options were adapted to vegetarians. I was recommended to order the falafel wrap… it came with two pieces of bacon on top of it. And when I asked if they served me the wrong wrap, they said that no, it was just some decoration… Once the meat bits were put to the side, I tasted the wrap. Filled with mayo and tasteless, and quite greasy. I do not recommend, at all. The waiting was also very long for what I got served.

I can only agree with the negative reviews; if I had read them beforehand, we wouldn't have gone there at all. The Caipirinha was more of a bitter lemon for €8.50, when asked about it the waitress only told me that she didn't make it. She was also completely unmotivated. Just wanted to eat a little something, cheddar fries and coleslaw. After 20 minutes we were told there was no cheese, we could have ketchup and mayo with it...uhhh no, otherwise I would have ordered it like that. So ordered nuggets, for which the €8.90 was not justified (usury). The coleslaw was okay, with red cabbage, but something different. Once and never again.

Absolut unfreundlicher und arroganter Typ. Geht gar nicht! Wer heutzutage nicht versteht, wie man mit Kunden umgeht, der kommt nicht weit. Die meisten anderen Rezensionen bestätigen das. Es ist Freitagabend und es ist kein einziger Tisch besetzt. Dachte deswegen der Laden hat zu und wollte mich kurz für 2min in eine Sitzbox setzen bis meine Freundin sich kurz was in einem Laden besorgt. Kam er sofort um die Ecke, um mich zu verjagen. Glaube verjagen kann er auch besser als Leite begeistern. Kein Wunder waren alle Tische leer.

Wir (3,11,36,52) haben unter der Woche in den Ferien zu Mittag in dem Restautant gegessen. Die Dame im Service war sehr freundlich und ist auch offen auf die Kinder eingegangen. Sie war leider mit einer neuen(?) Kollegin alleine und somit für den sehr großen Bereich alleine zuständig. Dadurch kam es schon zu Wartezeiten. Wir saßen in der Nähe der Küche und der Koch war sehr freundlich und die Küche war sauber und aufgeräumt. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten 3 Buger mit Pommes und einmal "Chicken Nuggets". Das Ambiente ist in solchen Einkaufsmeilen ist natürlich immer etwas anders als in geschlossenen Restaurants.

Haben spontan entscheiden hier zu essen und die Rezensionen erst nach Aufgabe der Bestellung gelesen. Hatten aufgrund der Rezensionen echt Angst, dass das ein Reinfall wird. Die Getränke kamen quasi nur Sekunden nach Aufgabe der Bestellung, hier musste man überhaupt nicht warten. Auf das Essen (mozzarella burger und Chicken Burger), jeweils mit Pommes, müsste man etwas warten (ca. 20 Minuten), was allerdings völlig in Ordnung war. Das Gemüse auf beiden Burgern war augenscheinlich und geschmacklich frisch, das Fleisch was heiß. Die Knoblauch Mayo auf dem Chicken Burger hätte nach meinem Geschmack etwas mehr nach Knoblauch schmecken können, aber das ist komplett persönlicher Geschmack. Die Pommes waren leider kalt, aber nach dem wir dies angesprochen hatten gab's sofort eine Entschuldigung und frische Pommes gebracht. Von dem her auch hier nichts auszusetzen. Portionsgröße war mehr als ausreichend.

The operating company of the Luisenpark is obviously not interested in an acceptable gastronomic offer. I can't explain the situation with the kiosk stands and especially the one at Gartenschach any other way. Absolutely overpriced (including packaged ice cream 4 EUR (!)) Staff unfriendly and no card payment possible in 2024. Impudence!

I ate there twice because I had a room at the Mercure. The first time I had the Black Angus Burger. Unfortunately, the top and bottom of the roll were so grilled that it resembled a rusk (1 star deducted). The second time I had the Nuremberg sausages. Unfortunately, the sauerkraut was super dry and there was no mustard and by the way if you booked an overnight stay... it's the same sausages as at breakfast (1 more star deducted) I deducted 1 star because of the prices (value for money) But the ladies who serve are very nice

Tax advice glazier: We have been a customer of Day of Companies for years. We waited 1.5 hours for bread plates. We were put off several times. "10 more minutes, 10 more minutes..." The query to the "boss" resulted in the following answer: "...you can leave immediately and it's best not to make a reservation with me next year...".
