Great industrial-style restaurant. The food was absolutely top-notch! The staff was very friendly and efficient. The chef was a nice guy with a great sense of humor! We had a wonderful evening there. Unfortunately, the restroom is not wheelchair accessible—so we lose one star for the ambiance :-)

We booked the restaurant for a birthday party based on the good reviews and were bitterly disappointed! Location: The room itself is pretty and industrial-style. Unfortunately, they cut corners on the acoustic panels, which resulted in a very loud atmosphere in a restaurant filled with large groups, families, and dogs. To be able to have a conversation, you had to raise your voice quite loudly...all in all, an atmosphere somewhere between a university cafeteria and a train station concourse. It's a shame, because even industrial architecture can be acoustically enhanced without compromising its character... The outdoor terrace might be nice in the summer, but unfortunately, it wasn't an option for us. Food We had ordered Prosecco as an aperitif, among other things. It was completely flat and lacked any fizz. We politely mentioned this to the waiter and initially received only a rude response. Nevertheless, the glasses were taken away and returned a few minutes later. Unfortunately, the exact same result...either it was old, completely stale Prosecco or it was of such poor quality that we've never experienced it before. The waitress ignored us and didn't even ask if it was okay, but simply avoided our table. Very unprofessional handling of a politely presented complaint! Unfortunately, there was no bread or anything similar to pass the not-inconvenient wait for the food. Bread was also missing from the appetizer salads. The carpaccio was unfortunately completely unseasoned. No pepper, salt, olive oil, or any other dressing...just raw meat with a few tomatoes and arugula draped on a plate. Very bland! Wait for the main course: 50 minutes! And the restaurant wasn't even full. In our defense: the main courses were fine. The wine was fairly priced and also OK. We decided not to have dessert because our trust was gone and our mood was simply at an all-time low. Service: As I said, the initial complaint was handled very rudely (which unfortunately only confirms the response to the review here). Empty plates remained for a long time. Glasses weren't cleared away. Four times, drinks were brought to our table that we hadn't ordered because the waiter had forgotten who had ordered what. The staff generally seemed stressed and confused. Mistakes happen, but good service could have made a lot of difference – unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. We rather had the impression that we were punished and ignored because of our complaint about the drinks. Conclusion At the end of the evening, we had to apologize to our companions for choosing this restaurant and extend a new invitation to dine at another restaurant. We will definitely never dine here again! Addendum: Wow...what a reaction from the restaurant. It really says it all. Anyone who reads my review will realize that I have nothing against children or dogs. We have them ourselves, and we don't mind the hustle and bustle at all. The poor acoustics were criticized, which would have created a more pleasant soundscape in a room of this height – and that's possible even in industrial buildings with high ceilings! It's very telling that the response made absolutely no mention of the deficiencies in the food/drinks and service. But we already noticed during our visit that the ability to accept criticism is a problem here. Apparently, only people who express objective criticism are excluded here. It's a shame that they don't want to learn from mistakes and feedback. A guest who expresses criticism is even met with hostility. It's nice that this is officially documented.

Zostaliśmy obsłużeni przyjaźnie i szybko. Jedzenie było wysokiej jakości, pyszne, a ilość wystarczająca. Każdy z nas był potem pełny i zadowolony. Zostaliśmy bardzo dobrze poinformowani w wyborze win i zamówiliśmy rekomendację domu. Byliśmy tu dwa razy i z pewnością chętnie wrócimy. Jeśli szukasz świetnej restauracji, Küferei na Dujardinstraße jest właściwym miejscem. Bardzo dziękujemy za miły wieczór w waszej restauracji.

We were there on a Friday evening with two couples. The ladies had Spaghetti Surf and Turf, the men had the Wienerschnitzel. We are very satisfied. Great service, great ambience, absolutely recommended. The beef comes out Namibia, the host explained to us that each cattle has eleven football fields of exercise. We'll definitely be back, you can taste the quality.

Es entstand von Anfang an ein Wohlgefühl. Nette Begrüßung, gute Atmosphäre und es wird bei der Bestellung auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Gerichte alle lecker und Getränke gepflegt. Gerne wieder!

Service : Einwandfrei, höfflich die ganze Zeit aufmerksam sowie freundlich. Einfach Perfekt Essen: alle Speisen waren auf den Punkt Geschmacklich so wie die Präsentation der Teller 1A. Das Rinderfilet war ein Traum. Zart weich auf den Punkt gebraten.

Service: Impeccable, polite, attentive and friendly all the time. Simply perfect Food: all dishes were on point The taste is just like the presentation of the plates 1A. The beef fillet was to die for. Fried to perfection until tender and soft.

A really great restaurant in an old industrial building. A small but very fine menu. The meals are freshly prepared in the open kitchen. It was perfect.

Very nice atmosphere, there were 11 of us there, the table was square, so we had eye contact with everyone and of course it was tasty too.

Mein erster aber nicht letzter Besuch in diesem erstklassigen Restaurant. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und besonders aufmerksam, die Auswahl der Karte nicht überladen und das Essen von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch perfekt. 5/5 Punkte, auch für den Primitivo, den Sie anbieten. Die Reservierung für Januar 25 ist schon bestätigt. Wir freuen uns sehr!

We held our wedding in the cooperage and our expectations were more than met. Uncomplicated exchange and the van Hooren family was at our side with advice and support. Both the food and the service were excellent. And the recommendations from the cooperage for the pastry shop and florist were also excellent. The cooperage is only recommended!

The food was really good; the small menu offers something for everyone. The portions are relatively large and the food is really worth the price in terms of quality and preparation. The ambience is generally nice, but we all found the entire atmosphere cold and not really comfortable. Overall, there was a lack of feeling of being welcomed as a guest - I just don't really understand why that was; Maybe there was a bit of a lack of warmth that evening. I would still recommend the cooperage; I think she is an asset to Uerdingen. But one more thing, dear management: if you have high standards, you should also offer the guest all payment options. Only cash payment in the beer garden and only debit cards and cash in the restaurant is not up to date. What do I do if, for example, I want to pay with my company credit card? Yes, everything costs fees - but you'll be able to get over that. And it would also be nice to be able to give tips via card payment. Others can do that too. If I don't have any cash with me, the service will otherwise come to nothing. That's not fair. Overall a good restaurant; However, there is still room for improvement in detail.

Very nice restaurant with a great ambience and fine German cuisine. Went here during the week without a reservation, which went smoothly. The restaurant has a very nice ambience and the staff is very polite. That evening, however, the waitress was on her own for the entire room, which meant a bit of a wait here and there. The food was delicious, especially the starter. The original Wiener Schnitzel tasted great and the portion was large. Only the breading didn't really stick, but there was a small mark. All in all, a really enjoyable evening and will definitely come back when I'm in the mood for some more upscale German cuisine.

We were invited to a birthday party with 20 people. A menu was served. Everything is first class in terms of taste and presentation. Everyone was very satisfied. The very attentive and friendly service was particularly noteworthy. We'd love to go there again.

We were at the JGA here in the restaurant today, it looked nice from the outside, unfortunately the service wasn't particularly friendly or attentive. The schnitzel tasted good, but we weren't asked for any new drinks, let alone dessert. We come from the catering industry ourselves and would have expected something different here.

We had a delicious meal and received excellent service...Thank you for a great evening.

The three of us went to the cooperage for the first time today, and what can I say, we were very excited. The food was great, service was friendly and quick. Cozy atmosphere, no problem for people with disabilities (I'm in a wheelchair). The only thing to complain about is the parking options, which are very limited. But that has nothing to do with the quality of the restaurant, we will definitely come back. ☺️

Yesterday we went to the cooperage again with guests. As always, it was excellent in every respect! We were even treated to EXTRA portions, even though Mr. van Hooren deprived himself of several desserts. Price, performance and service are a perfect match here. We would love to come back and not just once!!!

Spent a lovely Saturday evening in the cooperage in Krefeld-Uerdingen. The food, ambience and service were simply top. Very nice owner couple who serve their guests excellently.

Unfortunately, the cooperage only reaches canteen level. Very unfriendly service, despite a reservation saying "table by the wall please" they wanted to sit us in the middle of the room. The arugula on the spinach dumpling came without any dressing, just the way rabbits like it. It later became clear why they served roasted potatoes with the schnitzel when they served the separately ordered fries late. Both taste of the same oil, i.e. the schnitzel was deep-fried and not prepared in a pan, let alone aorized. The breading stood out wonderfully. The reason may be that the meat was soaked in water or a frozen convenience product was used, so that the meat was cooked rather than actually fried. As a real Wiener Schnitzel it was a disappointment. The sauce for the liver Berlin style tasted more like a ready-made sauce. Why leeks were served with the puree remains an open question. The onions were neither crispy nor freshly prepared, the apples were not crunchy but rather cooked through. The wonderful ambience of the cooperage really deserves an ambitious kitchen. At least there was a long conversation with the chef at the end. Another visit was done for us. Unfortunately, it has to be said. One can only hope that Jürgen Dollase doesn't stop there by chance.

Went to the Küfferei yesterday and ate in this special atmosphere. The quality and taste of the food was top notch. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Here the boss cooks himself and personally asks his guests whether everything was OK. Despite the size and height of the room, the temperature was pleasant. We will be happy to come back.

Wir waren heute zum Weihnachtessen in der Küferei. Das Essen war allererste Sahne, es hat ALLES geschmeckt, nicht nur die Vorspeisen. In diesem Restaurant sollte man eben kein Gyros erwarten. Wir hatten auch sehr nette Bedienung. Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant jederzeit und jedem Gourmet uneingeschränkt!

Tolle Restaurantlocation in der historischen Weinbrennerei Dujardin. Wir hatten einen rundherum gelungenen Abend. Hervorragendes Essen, top Service und tolles Ambiente. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Seit langem fahre ich hier vorbei und denke mir immer, da müssen wir mal hin. Gestern war es soweit, spontan hin grade noch so einen Platz bekommen, und wir sind total begeistert. Service super, Essen klasse und Wein auch top. Als ich nach dem Wein fragte brachte man mir die Flasche ich durfte das Label fotografieren. Wir werden sicherlich öfter dort essen gehen, versprochen.

Wir waren das 1.Mal mit einem befreundeten Paar zum Gansessen dort. Eine Person hatte ein Handicap, Intoleranz Histamin. Für den Chef / Koch kein Problem, wurde super wunschgemäß für die „Gästin“ umgesetzt. Hervorragende Gans, selten so lecker und reichhaltig! Top Service, alle sind freundlich und sehr entgegenkommt! Der Service war wunderbar und schnell in einer schönen Atmosphäre! Der Chef/ Koch kommt persönlich an den Tisch und unterhält sich mit den Gästen. Sehr sympathisch und humorvoll. Tolle Atmosphäre. Ehemaliges Fabrikgebäude der Fa. Dujardin mit großem hohem Raum, gut durchlüftet, Tische gut positioniert, super eingedeckt. Schöne Weinauswahl. Service: freundlich, zuvorkommend, sehr aufmerksam. War toll angerichtet und äußerst schmackhaft. Die Gans wurde am Tisch vom Chef persönlich tranchiert. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, nicht nur zum Gansessen! Nicht zu unterschlagen, Finger Food, Vorspeise, Torte , Nachtisch und die Currywurst ebenfalls grandios... Nur zu empfehlen, höchste Qualität mit Top Organisation dahinter...

Wir waren heute mal wieder in der Küferei lecker essen. Eine kleine sehr ausgewogene Karte, wo sicher jeder was für sich finden kann. Die Preise sind wirklich sehr fair, da man hier eine ordentliche Portion bekommt und das in Top Qualität! Die Dame vom Service ist immer auf Zack und dazu auch freundlich, selbst wenn mal mehr zutun ist. Wir kommen gern wieder 👍

Besser geht's nicht. Das Essen ist und Ambiente ist sehr gehoben und das bei anständigen und fairen Preisen.

Wir waren am 28.10.23 in der Küferei anläßlich der Hochzeitsfeier meines Sohnes. Die Lokation ist sehr schön, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Gerichte, die zur Auswahl standen, waren hervorragend, ebenso die Vor- und Nachspeisen. Der Service war erstklassig. Respekt! Wir kannten die Lokation vorher nicht, werden aber ganz sicher demnächst auch privat essen gehen.

Erstklassig zubereitete Gerichte in hoher Qualität zu moderaten Preisen. Sehenswertes Ambiente im Rahmen der alten Dujardin-Brennerei mit Außengastronomie. Lobenswert ebenfalls die aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Bedienung.

Preis Leistung ist hervorragend, wenn man Qualität beim Essen zu schätzen weiß. Gute Weine! Rustikal-stylvolles Ambiente. Für Gänseessen unbedingt vorreservieren!!!

Das Restaurant Küferei liegt auf dem Dujardin- Gelände und ist eine tolle Location um lecker essen zu gehen, in toller Atmosphäre zu speisen und einen netten Abend zu haben. Wir haben das Restaurant für meine Geburtstagsparty gemietet und ein wirklich rauschendes Fest feiern können! Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Hauptgang kam frisch aus der Küche und immer hübsch angerichtet, das Essen schmeckte großartig!!! In dieser hübschen Location im Industriestil lässt sich einfach nur toll feiern!!!

Einfach gut. Bedienung freundlich, Ambiente hervorragend und das Essen hat auch geschmeckt. Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend. Empfehlenswert.

Wir haben in der Küferei unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und sowohl wir selbst, als auch unsere Gäste waren von allen Dingen total begeistert. Top Location, sehr gutes Essen und ein wirklich mehr als freundliches Team, welches unsere Feier zu einem wirklich tollen Abend gemacht haben! Hier blieben keine Wünsche offen :-)

Ich fand die Karte zunächst nicht sonderlich spannend, war dann aber überrascht wie schmackhaft und interessant sowohl meine Vorspeise als auch das Hauptgericht zubereitet waren. Ein sehr schöner Abend.

Die Küferei ist ein super Restaurant. Wir waren dort mehrmals essen und haben unsere Hochzeit auch dort gefeiert. Super leckeres Essen, professioneller Service und tolles Ambiente. Unsere Hochzeitsgäste haben uns mehrmals für die gute Auswahl der Location gelobt. Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat ist, dass das Essen nicht als Buffet, sondern aus der Küche angerichtet wurde. Das macht einen schicken Eindruck und ist deutlich appetitlicher als ein Buffet mit viel Gegrabbel.

Bislang war ich nur im Biergarten zu Gast und war mit der Auswahl und Qualität der angebotenen Speisen mehr als zufrieden. Gutes Prei- Leistungsverhältnis. Das Personal sowie die Chefs waren immer freundlich und nahmen sich die Zeit kurze Gespräche mit den Gästen zu führen. Zudem gab es zur Abwehr der Bienen/Wespen auf jedem Tisch eine Wassersprühflasche um in Ruhe essen zu können. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Mein Mann und ich haben unseren Jahrestag mit einem 3-Gang-Menü dort gefeiert in herrlicher Atmosphäre. Der Industriestyle verleiht dem Ambiente einen ganz besonderen Charme. Wiener Schnitzel - top!Qualität kostet, und wer sich dessen bewusst ist, findet nichts zum Aussetzen. Zu einem geringeren Budget hat man saisonal natürlich im Biergarten die Möglichkeit ein Schnitzel Wiener Art zu genießen. Das Servicepersonal und die Chefs waren immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder... egal ob im Biergarten oder etwas gehobener im Lokal 5*

Wer in die Dujardinstrasse einbiegt sieht auf der einen Seite Industriebrachen im Lost- Places-Stil und gegenüber topsanierte Fabrikflächen einer allseits bekannten Weinbrennerei... In einem wunderbaren Innenhof befindet sich der Biergarten und direkt dahinter in einer toll sanierten Fabrikhalle das Restaurant Küferei. Die Speisekarte enthält zum Glück nicht 1001 Gerichte sondern eine Auswahl bekannter Klassiker (z.B. Wiener Schnitzel), die gekonnt zubereitet und nett angerichtet werden.Natürlich kann man hier auch zu Zweit ein romantisches Dinner genießen, eher ist die einmalige Location jedoch für vier Personen und kleinere Gruppen geeignet. Professioneller Service und stimmiges Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir wurden freundlich und rasch bedient. Die Speisen waren hochwertig, lecker und die Menge ausreichend. Jeder von uns fünf war danach satt und zufrieden. Man war sehr aufmerksam und es wurde mehrmals nach weiteren Wünschen gefragt, Getränke oder/ und Nachtisch betreffend. Wir waren hier schon zweimal und werden sicherlich gerne wiederkommen.
