A place with a cozy atmosphere. They serve delicious Mediterranean dishes, various Greek sauces, and a variety of other dishes, washed down with Greek wine or ouzo. It's simply superb, I love it there, and I'll be back. I recommend it to everyone ❤️

We had the pork skewer with gyros twice and it was very tasty, we'll be back!

The food was inedible. The gyros was very greasy, unfortunately. I had to leave hungry, but I still had to pay full price. I won't be going there again.

A wonderfully cozy restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. We were served almost immediately upon arrival. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the meat, which was incredibly juicy. The value for money is definitely excellent!

RE: Iolana Schröder Dear Ms. Schröder, I am the chef of the restaurant. I know exactly what I prepared and cooked that day. The meal you received as a group was sufficient for at least 30 people. We always plan everything in advance in the kitchen. With all due respect and honesty, one should remain fair. The souvlaki meat is from the pork neck and has only a small amount of fat to prevent the meat from drying out. We try to describe everything objectively and truthfully. The price of 30 euros per person is more than fair; in fact, it's almost too little for everything you received. It's a shame that you saw it differently. We wish you all the best.

The appetizer and main course were discussed with you in detail beforehand, as was the fact that dessert was not included in the set menu. Asking about it only after the meal and then complaining seems somewhat unfair to me – especially since everything was eaten without any feedback. I was available to answer any questions throughout the evening. Had you mentioned anything, I could have responded immediately. A negative review afterward would have been easily avoidable. The price was also agreed upon beforehand, and drinks were charged separately as agreed. We deliberately omitted the salad because it is often barely eaten by large groups – we want to avoid unnecessary food waste. Furthermore, I would like to politely point out that your unannounced arrival half an hour before the reservation disturbed other guests. I am always open to honest, direct feedback – please feel free to speak to me next time.

Never again! We were a group of 19 people. We had arranged for a set menu to be prepared for us. We were really disappointed 😞. The appetizer was only for adults, not a single salad, and then we got overcooked casseroles that I couldn't eat. The only meat options were pork chops, pork neck as shish kebab, gyros (we asked about it), and chicken breast. The quality of the meat was very questionable—too salty and fatty. There was no dessert at all. And then we had to pay an extra €30 per person for drinks. Sorry, but for me, that was a rip-off!

Highly recommended! The Kreta restaurant in Lemgo impresses across the board. The food is always fresh, delicious, and authentically Greek; the grilled meats and homemade tzatziki are particularly special. The portions are generous and the value for money is excellent. The service is also super friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. The cozy ambiance perfectly rounds off the visit. I don't know where all the good reviews are coming from. This place is the worst. Any snack bar is better. The photo shows the fries I was actually served with two sachets of mayonnaise and a small bifteki roll for almost €19!

This restaurant is an absolute highlight! From the first moment you feel welcome - the atmosphere is stylish and cozy at the same time. The staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive and professional without being intrusive. Every wish is fulfilled with a smile. And the food? Simply a dream! The dishes are prepared with great attention to detail, perfectly balanced in taste and beautifully presented.

Love this Greek family feeling place

The food was averagely good and the portions were large enough to fill you up well. We waited a little over an hour for our food. In my understanding, that is clearly too long, especially because other guests came after us and were served before us. What is not possible with a "Greek" is also what others criticize: Tsatziki is not included in all gyros dishes. Fries are generally served without mayo or ketchup and a small bag charges €1.50. A small portion of tzatziki costs €2 extra. The prices overall are higher than other Greek restaurants.

We received a very friendly welcome, nice restaurant, very good selection, the service was great (more than 5 stars), food was good, the side salad was good but I would stop ordering the canned corn, the prices are increased, all in all we were satisfied and would love to come back.

I had a wonderful evening at the Kreta restaurant in Lemgo. The ambience is simply fantastic - a perfect mix of comfort and Greek flair that invites you to linger. The portions are very generous and the food is authentic and incredibly tasty. Another highlight are the employees: very friendly, attentive and always trying to make you feel comfortable. Hospitality is very important here! Overall, a great experience and highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

Food very good, unfortunately prices too high. courts are 3 - 4 euros more expensive than at other Greek restaurants, and tzatziki is also missing from the main courses. It's also a shame that there is only rice with sauce, it doesn't taste good at all. A children's plate for 15.90 euros is probably steep.

Children's meals are very expensive, especially normal pasta dishes are cheaper. Some guests get a treat at the end, others don't.

It was our first time there and unfortunately we weren't that impressed. It was not possible to eat in the restaurant...a large area outside the restaurant was covered, there is garden furniture scattered everywhere, plastic plants everywhere that look tacky and it gave the impression of being on a campsite. The food was mediocre and really very expensive. I've never paid 20 euros for gyro fries anywhere. Ultimately we had to wait over half an hour for the bill. All in all very much in need of improvement.

I had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Crete recently and all I can say is that it was an absolute highlight! From the warm greeting upon entry to the last bite of dessert, everything was perfect. The ambience is stylish and cozy at the same time, with a wonderful atmosphere that is ideal for both a romantic dinner and a meeting with friends. The decoration is tasteful and helps you immediately feel at home. The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly and extremely competent. Our waitress took the time to explain the menu to us and recommended some of the house specialties, which turned out to be excellent choices. The food was simply sensational! Each dish was not only a visual work of art, but also a taste experience. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, and the dishes were prepared with great care and attention to detail. The drinks menu also left nothing to be desired. An impressive selection of wines and cocktails perfectly rounded off the culinary experience. All in all, I can highly recommend Crete. It was an unforgettable evening and I am already looking forward to my next visit. Five stars are more than deserved here!

We were in Lemgo and visited this particular Greek restaurant because of its Greek cuisine and we have nothing but positive words to say really!! The food is excellent with incredible flavors, the staff very friendly and so is the atmosphere! I highly recommend it, because there is a price/quality ratio that is hard to find! My personal favorite dish is the prawns, if you like seafood you should definitely try it! Congratulations on the fresh desserts.
