Small restaurant, reservations recommended! Very good food and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, you have to wait a bit for your meal. And I find the side dishes are extremely small for the BBQ portions served at the table, and very expensive. At least you can get your rice refilled for free. However, a basket of iceberg lettuce leaves costs over €2. Something to think about. This restaurant is very small and should ideally be a group of no more than six people. Otherwise, recommended.

Best Korean restaurant in Bremen, absolutely excelent!

I'd gladly come again. The soup was a bit too salty. The main course, however, was a real eye-catcher. When will the self-checkout be open?

I am extremely disappointed. I ordered two vegan dishes and a side dish, but all I received was a lukewarm, already opened vegan dish without the side, and instead, two incorrect dishes with meat. The food was presented without any care, barely seasoned, and the meat was full of gristle. In addition, I tried calling the restaurant, but the line was constantly busy—even though Google indicated they were open until 11 p.m. It seemed to me as if the phone had been deliberately muted to prevent anyone from calling just before closing time. In the end, I had nothing to eat, even though I had been looking forward to the restaurant. If you're listed as open, you should deliver correct and proper orders. Absolutely disappointing.

Small restaurant with only a few tables. You have to make a reservation and then you get a time slot; it's not a "take it as long as you like" situation, but they tell you that on the phone. The food is great, the bulgogi was pleasantly spicy, as was the pancake with kimchi. The mandu and the chicken with sides were also delicious. Very friendly staff, ice-cold casserole. We'll be back.

A nice Korean restaurant in the neighborhood. Very popular, so reservations are a must. It wasn't to my taste, but that's just me, not the chef.

Small, cozy shop, almost like being in your own living room with a counter. The food, beef and vegetables for grilling yourself, was delicious. It also came with kimchi and various other small dishes. The staff was very attentive. The prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

Small Korean restaurant with sensationally delicious food at reasonable prices. Reservations are advisable. We had a reservation for a Wednesday evening starting at 6 p.m. Despite it being a weekday, there were no tables available at short notice. Korean staff in the kitchen, and a very dedicated Bremen student in the waiting area (special thanks to her!). Parking is difficult, as is the case everywhere. Definitely recommended!

Very delicious, authentic Korean food. We had pork and beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap, sundubujjigae, tteokbokki, mandu, and hoddeok, and everything was delicious. The service was very friendly, and the owner was also a sweetheart! We'll definitely be back!

I really wanted this place to be good but I was not impressed. First, the staff brushed me off saying there were no tables available when it appeared one table was available and another finishing up. And when I asked if I could order takeaway, the server responded like it was a bother. It took them a while, maybe 10 min to even take my order and then when I received it (pork stir fry type dish) it was nothing like I expected - not even very spicy and every piece of pork had so much fat. The cramped nature of the place, unfriendly staff and bad food experience led to this rating.. Not worth the long walk to get there in my opinion.

Absolutley one of my favorite places to go eat in Bremen. Its a small but very welcoming restaurant. The food is realy good. They take pride in what they cook.

Simply great, recommended by my brother and now by me. The food is extremely delicious, Korean pancakes are a must try. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, awesome 🔨. Atmosphere gets a point deducted because the restaurant is much too narrow for me, I'm quite wide and tall, so it's not that pleasant for me, nothing that would stop me from visiting again :) All in all, it's a great location, as you can tell because it's always full. Call to make a reservation and you'll have Korean pancakes in front of you.

I ate at Kimchi for the first time today and it was absolutely fantastic. The drinks went well with the food and the quantities of the dishes were also perfect. You had to wait a bit for the dishes to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The service and kitchen staff were very friendly. Definitely recommended and a big thank you to the kitchen staff for the great dishes.

We were there on Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. with 6 people. We had reserved the table and announced the main courses in advance by phone the day before. The table for 6 adults was very small. 2 people sat on one side of the head. Good thing we didn't order the barbecue. All of this would never have fit on this table 😁 The food was excellent. The young woman in service had a good overview of everything and was very friendly. Even though the store was very busy, we never had to wait long for drinks or food. Recommended 👍

I am in between. A former neighborhood bar has been turned into a Korean restaurant. There is a solid menu, great service and a really nice atmosphere. The price-performance ratio is pretty good overall! But I have a big problem with the concept! The four tables outside, in front of the shop, are great! The 30 seats and counter in the approximately 18 square meter indoor area are too much!!! Entering or leaving the store is often difficult. Getting up from the table without activating everyone sitting next to you is hardly possible. My conclusion: "I would have given the food, service and ambience five stars. Maximizing profits must have limits, so I deduct two points!

After a little over an hour we were asked to leave because the next guests were there. We thought that was a disgrace because we made reservations, ordered a lot and Korean BBQ was supposed to be a social thing that can take some time. Overall, ruined our evening (and my birthday). Pretty cheeky. We all felt a bit ripped off. Ordered Korean BBQ with 10 people, but only got 2 bowls of meat. I didn't even get anything because it was just too little. Then I got my fill of onions and lettuce. but everyone paid full price for BBQ. which was quite expensive. I don't quite understand how it can be that you get so little even though 10 people ordered it. I'm really annoyed about it because it wasn't exactly cheap. Unfortunately, it was the same before. That's just not clear. 3 people order BBQ but all of them only get meat for 1 person. if any

One of the best restaurants in Bremen, if not my favorite restaurant. The menu includes all well-known Korean dishes, super authentic and really tasty. The staff is friendly, accommodating and super helpful when you ask for recommendations. The restaurant itself is very small and only seats a small number of people, which creates a very homey feeling. I would always recommend reserving a table in advance because every time I went, every single chair was taken.

A world class restaurant with very tasty and authentic food. After a selection of starters, we had the Korean BBQ, which was a great culinary experience. All of the desserts are also recommended. This is rounded off by very open-minded and very friendly service. Really highly recommended!!!

Ich musste kurzfristig meine Reservierung absagen, da es meinem Hund schlecht ging und konnte auch meine Reservierung auf den nächsten Tag gleiche Uhrzeit verschieben. Alles ging ganz fix, wir musste nie lange warten und das Essen ist wirklich fantastisch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall noch mehrmals wieder. :)

Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich und hat sich Zeit genommen. Mehrmals wurde sich unaufdringlich erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Getränke kamen zügig, das Essen ebenfalls. Kleiner süßer Laden in den Adern des Viertels. Essen war mega lecker, Gewürze die einen wahrlich nach Korea brachten. Service war mega zuvorkommend und höflich. Wäre sogar möglich gewesen den Hund mitzubringen bei Nachfrage. Immer wieder gerne! Vegetarisch und Vegan gab es auf der Speisekarte auch :)

Der Kimchi Pfannkuchen ist als Vorspeise für uns ein MUSS und gesetzt. Das Restaurant ist klein, bietet nur wenig Platz und ist aufgrund des leckeren Essens immer voll. Ohne Reservierung hat man in der Regel keine Chance ein Tisch zu ergattern. Das kimchi ist ein Familien geführtes Restaurant mit einem kleinen Team und es macht uns viel Freude dort zu Essen. Korean BBQ mit 2 Personen Hier muss ich besonders das Bulgogi mach Hausrezept erwähnen, sowas von lecker, das muss man probiert haben. Wir hatten 2 Portionen Fleisch und 1 x Salatblätter für Wraps bestellt und sind beide gut satt geworden. Alles hat super geschmeckt inklusive der Side- dishes. Unsere Bedienung Nina war auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat unser schönes Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant abgerundet. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder :-) Ich empfehle Tischreservierung da die Anzahl der Tische doch recht überschaubar ist.

Nice Korean Food and a little bit expensive.

Unfortunately I had a very misfortunate experience (Birthday dinner went wrong). A friendly advice: be careful what you order, because the pictures in the menu do NOT reflect the actual food you're brought at the table. At least, in my case... Context: I orderded a dish (called Ojingeo Bokkeum) based on its super attractive image in the menu. However, I was brought a plate that looked absolutely nothing like it and even missed a lot of the ingredients described. The waitress assured me that it was indeed the exact dish I ordered. Hard to believe... The overall plate was disappointing in terms of looks/lack of meat, lack of ingredients in the dish. (I only had 80% of stir-fried onions in that dish, 10-20% squid bits...) The serving was excellent tho (really nice waitress) and the atmoshere is super nice! :) Overall, this was a bad experience since I had big expectations (the reviews were really good online) and, on top of that, it was my birthday dinner, as mentioned.

Das Lokal wurde uns sehr empfohlen. Leider war es extrem voll, wir warteten über eine Stunde auf das Essen. Letztlich war es für die eine Servicekraft einfach zu viel zu tun. Währenddessen warteten immer wieder zwischen den Tischen, wo nicht viel Platz war, Menschen auf einen freien Tisch,was natürlich eine ungemütliche Atmosphäre macht und sich bedrängt anfühlte. Das Essen hatte für die Preise kleine Portionen, war eher lieblos auf ganz unterschiedlichen Tellern angerichtet. Der Geschmack war ok, aber nicht wirklich von einer guten Imbissbude zu unterscheiden.
