Wir waren gestern Abend zu viert im KDW in Bielefeld, haben dort gemeinsam gegessen und meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Wir waren rundum begeistert und sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Das gesamte Team war herzlich, zuvorkommend und hat unseren Abend zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Man merkt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird. Auch das Ambiente des Restaurants hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für den tollen Service und den gelungenen Abend. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Das KDW ist definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Wir waren als Gruppe da und der Service war hervorragend. Noch wichtiger: Das Essen war absolut erstklassig. Einige von uns bestellten gegrilltes Lamm, andere Rib-Eye-Steak; alle waren zufrieden. Die Oktopus-Vorspeise war exzellent und die griechische Sauce sehr lecker.

Super gut, Wir haben hier den 80 Geburtstag gefeiert. der Service ist super gut und das Personal ist auch super freundlich und Nett. Ich habe das Lammfilet mit Rotwein Soße und Rosinen genommen ich kann dieses Essen nur empfehlen. Das Fleisch ist Perfekt durchgebraten Außerdem ist es an keiner Stelle Verbrannt. Wichtig: man bekommst schon im Voraus Essen was man nicht bestellt hat Salat und Brot mit Olivenöl und gewürzten. Liebe Grüße.

5/5 Sterne: Sowohl das Lamcarré als auch der Wolfsbasch waren auf den Punkt. Preise sind etwas höher, aber durch die vielen Vorspeisen, welche immer inklusive und ebenfalls sehr gut sind, angemessen. Service zuvorkommend und schnell, Ambiente schön. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Super Service, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Inhaber sind richtig nett und kümmern sich persönlich um die Gäste. Die Küche ist top - alles frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Insgesamt eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!

Ein super leckeres Restaurant. Die Einrichtung wurde modernisiert. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Gerichte sind sehr gut ausbalanciert. Das Restaurant hat es geschafft ältere Generationen und junges Publikum zu verbinden.

Leider enttäuscht gewesen das erste Mal. Die Preise wurden erhöht, obwohl die Steuer gesenkt wurde. Die Vorspeise war kleiner als sonst. Die Blätterteigtaschen wurden gegen Krautsalat ausgetauscht. Preis Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt hier leider nicht mehr und wir waren fürs Erste das letzte Mal hier. Sehr Schade!

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne ins KDW. Seit Jahren gleich bleibend hervorragende Qualität und ein sehr aufmerksamer Service. Auch heute war wieder alles perfekt. Hier passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, was heutzutage keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr ist!

Sehr gutes Konzept; es gibt zu jedem Hauptgericht Beilagen und eine Vorspeise. Wir waren mit neun Personen da und obwohl das Restaurant voll war, war die Wartezeit total im Rahmen. Nun das Wichtigste: Das Essen war der Hammer!! Tolle Vorspeisen, perfekt zartes Fleisch, leckerer Nachtisch. Tolle Adresse in Bielefeld!!

The service was unfortunately very inadequate. Despite several attempts to order drinks, a considerable amount of time passed without any response. When a server asked if everything was alright, I answered honestly and addressed what I perceived as the very slow and uncustomer-oriented service. The owner then came to the table. Instead of listening to the situation or asking questions, he accused me of insulting his wife. This was followed by an inappropriate and verbally charged outburst from him, which was completely unprofessional in both tone and content. No objective clarification of the situation took place. When guests are actively asked if everything is alright, there should also be room for honest feedback – especially when the perception is shared not just by one person, but by the entire table. Immediately interpreting criticism as a personal attack and responding with verbal abuse is, in my view, unacceptable. This disrespectful treatment of guests conveys an impression of a lack of receptiveness to criticism and damages the otherwise good reputation that this restaurant apparently strives for. Especially in the restaurant industry, professionalism should be maintained even in difficult situations. Conclusion: For guests who value open, respectful interaction and constructive communication, this restaurant is unfortunately not recommended.

A superb restaurant, excellent service, very attentive and courteous staff, and phenomenal food.

A definite recommendation! The food is truly outstanding. A 320g entrecote cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. A generous appetizer (tzatziki, salad, coleslaw, and bread) is included in the price, along with a 20cl glass of ouzo! Very professional and friendly service. They pay attention to the little things ;-). The decor is charming. The seating is especially comfortable. It was a bit noisy at times, but you could still have a good conversation. However, there were quite a few other guests.

We were there with the whole family at Christmas and were extremely satisfied! All 14 people who were there gave it 5 stars!!!

An expensive restaurant with good food quality, but it was under-seasoned. At these prices, I expect the service to at least ask if I'd like anything else to drink. I'm not a fan of these extra appetizers, as they significantly reduce the portion size of the main course.

Less is more… We were at the restaurant last night. It was extremely loud, very crowded, tables and chairs… Cozy and relaxed, unfortunately not. The appetizer, grilled octopus, is a meal in itself. Then came the trio wrapped in bacon. That ruined the flavor. It lacked that special something, unfortunately!

My family and I visited KaDeWe for the second time on November 19th, and just like the first time, it was fantastic. A lovely, warm atmosphere; attentive, friendly, and professional staff; perfectly seasoned appetizers that didn't require any extra vinegar, oil, salt, or pepper. The main courses were excellent: I ordered the 350g entrecôte medium-rare, and Chef Tamaz cooked it to perfection. For dessert, we had crème brûlée with a scoop of ice cream – absolutely delicious. High-quality food of a high standard. Reasonable value for money. They even offer bread, salad, ouzo, or something similar beforehand. I'm thrilled and will definitely come back. It's best to make a reservation!

My first visit to KDW yesterday was absolutely perfect. I have rarely enjoyed such a harmonious overall experience. The ambiance is beautiful and inviting. But what truly stood out was the service: The staff were exceptionally attentive and courteous, anticipating our every need. Such professionalism is remarkable! The food is a dream: The appetizers were generously portioned and fantastic. The main courses were simply WOW in terms of taste and quality, and the absolute highlight of the evening. The drinks selection is also excellent. A delicious dessert provided the perfect finishing touch. KDW is a top-notch restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend. As it is understandably very popular, I strongly advise making a reservation in advance. Thank you for this wonderful evening! We will definitely be back!

The staff were so nice and friendly, the food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious, and we started with a fantastic appetizer platter. After the meal, you absolutely must order a mocha, which is freshly brewed at your table and served piping hot – a wonderful experience and a perfect ending to the meal.

We eat at KaDeWe quite often. The service is always very attentive, the quality is excellent, and it's always a lovely all-around experience. They always serve a selection of different appetizers to the whole table. A small bottle of ouzo is also included for everyone. For the main course, they serve the house classic – potato gratin! The prices are on the higher side, but you definitely get what you pay for. It would be nice to have a vegetarian option for the main course.

All in all, an absolutely successful evening.

I visited KDW for the first time today. I definitely recommend this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and caters to all requests. The menu was something I'd never experienced before. There was a very good starter, and the main course was also excellent. :) So if anyone is looking for a place with a very nice atmosphere, the KDW Restaurant is a highly recommended one :)

A superb restaurant with excellent cuisine. It's not necessary to order starters, as many additional dishes are served alongside the main course. The main courses are served with excellent sauces. The red wine sauce, for example, is fantastic.

Very friendly service staff. The food was also very good, and the meat was cooked to perfection. At first, when I looked at the menu, it seemed a bit expensive, as there were no side dishes listed for the meat dishes. However, since there was a sumptuous appetizer, the side dish wasn't a problem (there was au gratin potatoes). Excellent value for money.

I think it's a real shame that the KdW still doesn't have a single vegetarian dish on its menu. For me, as a vegetarian, this is like a slap in the face: a restaurant is aware that it doesn't have any vegetarian dishes on its menu, but they still leave it like this? In 2025? Since we were there with a small birthday party (10+ people) who had previously requested food for me as a vegetarian, it was also possible for me to get a vegetarian dish. >> Fried halloumi cheese with various vegetables (beans, zucchini, and more) and giant beans in sauce. That was great, a delicious dish! I would be very happy if the KdW kept up with the times and added a dish like that to the menu, for example. Even if it's just one or two vegetarian dishes, that would significantly improve my opinion of the restaurant.

It's pricey, but the food is 👍high. I gave it three stars for the ambiance, and four stars inside, but the beer garden could be more cozy, as could the facade.

The food is very tasty and of high quality. The main courses are accompanied by tasty appetizers and ouzo pilava as an aperitif. Greek coffee is prepared at your table.

Well, I'm a bit torn. It was very nicely decorated and they were nice too, but the menu on the internet was completely different to the one actually on the restaurant. On the internet you're automatically shown the menu from KDW Hamburg, which I couldn't make out. I was very disappointed because I expect gyros, souvlaki and the like from a Greek restaurant, and there was none of that here. Instead there was just steak, fillets and I think a fish dish. There was something with chicken too, but no schnitzel or anything like that, and you need a bit of a bigger wallet. The toilets went down to the basement, which I found difficult to manage with help.

For us, this is the best Greek restaurant in Bielefeld! We've never been disappointed here. The meat is always perfectly prepared. The grilled octopus as an appetizer was also a real highlight: tender, grilled to perfection, and superbly seasoned. The dessert is always a hit. Add to that the friendly service and pleasant atmosphere.

When I first entered the restaurant, I thought, "Oh my God, it's just a place for well-dressed people, we won't fit in at all." But we were treated super nicely, just like everyone else. The food was amazing, and the service was also first-class! Everything was perfect, and the prices weren't overpriced either! Everything was delicious. We'll be back and will definitely recommend this restaurant!

The KDW is a long-established Greek restaurant in the west of Bielefeld. However, you won't find traditional Greek cuisine. There are no stuffed grape leaves or dumplings, no gyros and suflaki. There isn't a single vegetarian dish on the menu at all, and that's a flaw for me these days. You sit in a large dining room that is not very comfortable. But it is conservative and staid. The staff wasn't very attentive either. We weren't completely satisfied. Too bad.

Mein Mann und ich haben unseren Hochzeitstag dieses Jahr mal richtig gefeiert – und zwar im KWD Restaurant in Bielefeld. Ich sag’s euch: Beste Entscheidung EVER! Wir lieben gutes Essen, aber das hier war wirklich nächste Stufe Genuss. Schon beim Ankommen: Super gemütliche, stilvolle Atmosphäre. Nicht so steif, dass man sich verkünsteln muss, aber trotzdem edel und besonders – genau richtig für so einen Anlass. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, hatten einen wunderschönen Platz und haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Dann das Essen… Leute, ich übertreibe nicht! Mein Mann hatte ein Steak, perfekt gebraten, so zart, dass er fast ins Schwärmen geraten ist (und das soll was heißen! 😆). Ich hab mich für Fisch entschieden – butterzart, toll gewürzt, ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis. Dazu gab’s natürlich den passenden Wein – die Karte hat wirklich eine tolle Auswahl, und die Beratung war top.

Great place for a relaxing evening with good food. I was particularly pleased with the vegetarian dish that was offered to me alongside the normal menu. Everything was 5 stars and the service was 4 because we waited a relatively long time for our drinks. The food, on the other hand, came exactly right and very quickly.

We just happened to pass by here while passing through and ended up at the best Greek restaurant we've ever been to. You can't offer more in terms of service and quality of food and the price is absolutely reasonable. The only small drawback, I didn't actually want to drink alcohol and then had to drink a 0.2 bottle of ouzo, which is simply served here. Nectar, it tastes so delicious too. That's probably the trick. I'm now slightly drunk and exhilarated and that's why I'm writing this super nice review

The best restaurant we have eaten at recently. At first glance, the prices seem high, but after all, it turns out that it is cheap. But this is not the most important thing, the taste of the dishes we ate was great, the service was very nice, the atmosphere was fantastic, we will always try to visit this place when traveling through Bielefeld.

A really good restaurant. However, it is a noisy environment when it is busy.

We have been guests in this restaurant for decades, back then under Nico's management. There was a weak period when a different owner tried to save money by reducing or eliminating the free entrée offering. TK and his people have been running the restaurant with flying colors and consistently high quality for a long time. And with the obligatory, delicious starters and of course the ouzo. ;-) I think it's also a very good sign that many employees have been working there for a long time. You meet old friends, so to speak. :-) And by the way, it also works perfectly.

Apart from the ambience, it is clearly recommended. The octopus starter is awesome. I've never eaten something so delicious. There is ouzo for everyone. Parking is a bit of a disaster as there are few parking spaces.

Hier kann man in sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre sehr gut essen. Ist aber kein typischer Grieche mit Gyros etc. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Von meinem langjährigen Kollegen wurde ich zu seinem 25. Firmenjubiläum ins KDW eingeladen. KDW kann ich nur aus Berlin, aber die Bewertungen sahen vielversprechend aus. Schon die Einrichtung des Gastraums sieht sehr geschmackvoll aus und vermittelt gleich den Eindruck einer gehobenen Gastronomie. Die sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung, die stets um unser leibliches Wohl bemüht war stets freundlich und trotz vollem Haus ganz souverän. Ich bestellte mir eine Trilogie mit verschiedenen Soßen, ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gegart und die Soßen sehr abwechslungsreich. Hier wäre ein Tipp für die Reihenfolge hilfreich gewesen, denn leider habe ich mit der geschmackintensivsten Soße begonnen. Auch dir Trilogie von Frucht Sorbets war ein Genuss. Zum Glück war ich eingeladen den die Preise sind auf Sterne Nivea. Ein rundum gelungener Abend hier komme ich zur nächsten Feier gerne wieder.

We had octopus from the daily menu, intended as a starter, but it was also possible to order a main course. The octopus was very tender and tasty, there was a nice selection of included starters with salad, ham, grilled vegetables, bread, herb oil and an aioli and a 0.2L ouzopulle with chilled glasses with ice. The service was very friendly. I still gave it 5 stars for the ambience (rather simple), but it was full (Friday evening). That suggests that the store is running. Personally, I tend to like it quieter and wouldn't go there during prime time. Price-wise, I was surprised that it was more than fair considering what was on offer. Am very satisfied! :)

Great concept, together with the starters/side dishes you'll feel really full and the food is fantastically well cooked. I'd be happy to go again if I wanted to go out for something fancy Greek food.

Wir waren eine größere Gruppe und ich habe vorab extra über Tripadvisor recherchiert, ob es vegane und vegetarische Optionen gibt. Leider wurde ich dies bezüglich sehr enttäuscht und eine Person hat nichts zu essen bekommen. Das restliche Essen war sehr lecker und auch der Service war in Ordnung. Allerdings sollte hier nicht ausgelobt werden, dass es vegane Optionen gibt, wenn es keine gibt!

The lamb was excellent as always - but: the sea bass fillet was full of bones so that no real appetite would develop. In addition, overall with the Side dishes too greasy/oily. Criticism was passed on to the kitchen - but that was it. Sometimes something may not be prepared optimally, but then we would expect a little attention from the service
