Ein absolut köstliches Essen. Alles war sehr kreativ und perfekt zubereitet. Es ist kein Restaurant für eine schnelle Mahlzeit, und bei unserem Besuch gab es ein Problem mit dem Ofen, wodurch es etwas länger dauerte. Die Bedienung war jedoch überaus freundlich, und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Das Personal war vielleicht etwas unterbesetzt, aber sehr nett. Ein tolles Erlebnis – sehr zu empfehlen.

Hervorragendes vegetarisches Essen (im leichten Finedinningstil) mit kleinen Twist. Auf der Speisekarte stehen nur die Zutaten, in welcher Form diese auf den Teller kommen, ist eine Überraschung ❗️ Außerdem ist es empfohlen/gewünscht das man das Essen untereinander teilt :) Man bezahlt hier eindeutig mehr als woanders, dafür ist die Qualität auch hervorragend. Klare Empfehlung!

Das June am August-Bebel-Platz ist für mich nicht nur mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in Halle, sondern gehört tatsächlich zu meinen Lieblingsrestaurants weltweit. Ich habe schon viele Restaurants mit ähnlichem Konzept besucht, doch hier merkt man bei jedem einzelnen Gericht, wie viel Liebe, Kreativität und Leidenschaft dahinterstecken. Besonders beeindruckt mich, wie hier das Beste aus jedem Gemüse herausgeholt wird. Jeder Teller ist durchdacht, überraschend und voller spannender Aromen. Man spürt, dass das Team mit großer Hingabe arbeitet und jedes Gericht mit viel Sorgfalt entwickelt. Die Qualität ist dabei jedes Mal aufs Neue herausragend und konstant auf höchstem Niveau. Wann immer ich in Halle bin und in meine Heimat zurückkehre, ist ein Besuch im June für mich ein Muss. Ich empfehle es regelmäßig Freunden und Familie und habe bisher nur begeisterte Rückmeldungen erhalten. Ein großes Lob und herzlicher Dank an alle, die diesen Ort möglich machen. Das June ist für mich eine absolute Herzensadresse und eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

Wow. Essen, das Spaß macht! Wir hatten eine ganz wunderbare Zeit im June. Vom aufmerksamen Service bis hin zu den ausgefeilten Gerichten war alles stimmig. Gemeinsam die ganze Karte zu bestellen, sich immer wieder gegenseitig die Teller rüberzuschieben und darüber zu staunen, wie stark die einzelnen Gerichte sind – genau dafür geht man essen. Dazu spannende Low-Intervention-Weine, ein gemütliches Ambiente und absolut faire Preise. Unaufgeregt, ehrlich und mit Haltung. Lieben wir. Auf bald!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im June. Das Lokal ist gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Das Essen war sehr gut. Vegetarische Kost kann wirklich unglaublich facettenreich und intensiv sein. Das beweist man im June. Das Shared-Plate Konzept ist erstmal ungewohnt, aber eigentlich sehr schön, weil man das Essen gemeinsam „erlebt“. Jedes Gericht war irgendwie einzigartig und die Zutaten haben sich überraschend gut ergänzt und zueinander gepasst. Auch die Getränke waren super. Der Service war von Anfang bis Ende freundlich, zuvorkommend und man hatte durchgehend den Eindruck, willkommen zu sein. Zwei kleine Kritikpunkte: zum einen empfand ich die Musik am Anfang als etwas zu laut und basslastig, für meinen Geschmack auch zu viel Rapmusik. Als dann aber mehr Gäste eintrafen wurde es entsprechend lauter und dann war es angemessen. Das Brot hat mir leider nicht gefallen. Es war zu wenig und zu salzig. Das ist jedoch Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau und alles in allem ist das June absolut empfehlenswert! Man muss offen für Neues sein und sich auf das Konzept einlassen. Die Preise sind recht hoch, aber angemessen. Man sollte etwa mit 40€ pP rechnen, je nachdem wie viel man isst und trinkt. Kartenzahlung ist möglich und erwünscht, auch das positiv.

Die Zuchini hätten noch eine mini Prise Chili vertragen (quasi einen Hauch) – aber mal ehrlich: toller Ort & lecker!

Ein wunderbarer Ort, gastfreundlich, herzlich und warm. Als junger Mensch habe ich mich vor Gemüse nicht selten gesträubt. Da wusste ich auch noch nicht auf welche vielfältige und leckere Art es zubereitet werden kann. Das June schafft es ein Abendessen zum Geschmackserlebnis werden zu lassen. Wenn man bereit ist sich darauf einzulassen, neugierig und offen ist, kann etwas Besonderes entstehen - in meinem Fall ein Glücksgefühl, welches mich überrascht hat, etwas, dass mich an diesen Ort immer wieder zurückkehren lässt. Das Essen war wie immer toll und das Ambient ist großartig. Das Team wirkt professionell und ist trotzdem nahbar. Die angebotenen Weine, gut ausgesucht und sehr lecker. Auch die Reservierung über Opentable hat anstandslos geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.😊

Das Essen war hervorragend! Der Wein konnte vorher unaufgefordert getestet werden. Da mir der Wein nicht zugesagt hat (2 probiert) habe ich mich dann für einen Cocktail entschieden. Sehr gute Wahl! Alles in allem ein schöner Abend. Wir kommen wieder!

Vor kurzem besuchten wir das Restaurant June im Rahmen einer Weihnachtsfeier mit einer Gruppe von 12 Leuten. Es war ein Dienstag und das Restaurant war komplett voll. Verständlicherweise denn vor Ort herrscht ein tolles Ambiente. Es gab nur eine Servicekraft, die alles gegeben hat alle Leuten im Laden regelmäßig mit einer klasse Auswahl an Getränken zu versorgen. Viele waren dem shared plates concept gegenüber voreingenommen aber wurden von Runde zu Runde mehr begeistert. Die Produkte sind wunderschön in Szene gesetzt und im Geschmack wahnsinnig gut ausgearbeitet. Dem Essen fehlt es an nichts und jeder Teller macht aufs neue unheimlich viel Spaß. Ein großes Lob an Patrick, sein Lokal sticht wirklich aus der Masse heraus. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! :-)

Ich war vor einigen Wochen bei euch essen. Das Essen war wie immer wunderbar und wirklich kulinarisch so besonders und ausgewählt wie kein anderes Restaurant in Halle. Ich fand es nur sehr schade, dass ich gerne einen bestimmten Wein trinken wollte der aber nicht geöffnet werden wollte für ein Glas, was leider bei 3 anderen die ich dann trinken wollte auch nicht möglich war. Ich verstehe, dass man nicht immer alle Weine öffnen möchte aber wenn in der Karte Glasweise die Weine angeboten werden finde ich es zumindest etwas schade wenn von 6 Weißweine nur 2 getrunken werden konnten. Ich möchte trotzdem 5 Sterne geben weil ich euer Konzept sehr mag aber hoffe, dass dies vielleicht nochmal optimiert wird.

This is my fourth time leaving June completely thrilled. It's a fantastic, modern concept focused on flavor. Wonderful seasonal produce is always presented in creative ways. The relaxed yet attentive service is a real pleasure, and you can tell everyone on the team enjoys it. For me, it's definitely worth the trip (even if it's just from Leipzig)!

Outstanding! Today was my second visit to June, and let me put it this way: The trip from Leipzig was more than worth it both times. Great ambiance, great service, and great food. You walk in, feel at home, and are guaranteed a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The menu offers an exceptionally good selection of food and drinks. We tried the entire menu both times; the sharing concept makes it so uncomplicated and enjoyable. Plus, great conversations with lovely people. Thanks — go there!

Phantastisches vegetarisches Essen mit ungewöhnlichen Kombinationen. Sehr spannend! Wenn man mit einer Gruppe von z.B. 5 Freundinnen dort ist, kann man bei dem schönen shared-plate-concept alles von der Karte probieren. Und alle sind sehr nett und entspannt.

Das June ist einzigartig und immer für eine Überraschung gut. Wer experimentierfreudig und offen für verschiedenste Geschmäcker ist und dabei einen unterhaltsamen Abend haben möchte, ist hier bei locker-legerem Ambiente sehr gut aufgehoben. Bei fast jedem Bissen denke ich: "Wie geht das zusammen? Ach egal! Es ist fantastisch! Huch ein neuer Geschmack. Ist.das.schön." Eine regelmäßig wechselnde, vegane/vegetarische Speisekarte lockt immer wieder hierher. Im Sommer kann man gemütlich draußen sitzen. Sehr gute Wein- bzw Getränkebegleitung. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Truly the best restaurant I know in Halle. We were here a year ago and weren't so impressed with the set menu, but yesterday we went again, and it was truly outstanding. The menu has changed; there's no set menu, just an open selection. We tried almost everything; the beetroot with ricotta and the blondie with gooseberry ice cream and other dishes were absolutely insane! Super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere, with great timing—you don't get the feeling that the food comes right away or too quickly, but not too slowly either. I hope this restaurant stays in Halle for a long time!

To be honest, I've rarely had a better meal in the last two or three years than at June. Everything here is just right for me. From the incredibly friendly staff to the menu, which offers absolutely everything, and a relaxed atmosphere where you never feel like you're being watched. But the most important thing for me: For the quality of the food, the selection, and everything else, the price is so fair and almost unbeatable. After two visits, June has become one of my absolute favorite spots for good food. I can recommend it to everyone without exception <3

Also on the (3rd) repeat visit: 1. The food is outstanding; appetizingly presented, served and explained with heart, flavorful, fragrant, wholesome; leaves a deep sense of satisfaction and happiness; you MUST visit June for that (Michelin will figure it out eventually!) 2. The service this time was rude; a gentleman, direct and unyielding, found no solution to our concern (and it had been communicated in advance): that we might want to sit together on a date to talk; that seemed to be our only problem... anyway, we ended up sitting outside on the bench; not very cozy, but together with the best food. 3. The ambiance: cramped, a little too loud; the seating arrangement isn't private; - for my taste; if you arrive late, it's emptier and more comfortable. We had the best vegan food you can get in the region. And the least attentive service After the third visit: the quality of the food remains consistently superior! The service and waitressing are inconsistent, the ambiance is familiar.

My husband said that June already has so many great reviews that they don't need my 5 star review, but I would burst if I didn't start saying HOW GREAT it was to be a guest at June and to fill our bellies with all the delicacies. How often do we go out to eat and how rarely do we afterwards feel like we've been served something really delicious, good and prepared with love. At June it was completely different. The food is delicious and the extremely friendly and pleasantly relaxed team advises and explains things without being intrusive. There is also an excellent wine selection. The menu alone only gives a rudimentary idea of ​​what exactly is being served, but we were pleasantly surprised six times. Yes, six times, because everything was so delicious and we could hardly decide. The concept is that the dishes are shared and it's fun to taste and taste together. It was a pleasure. No one should ever again claim that vegan or vegetarian isn't delicious. We didn't manage to try the whole menu, but we'll be back, even though we're originally from Hamburg. Every time we're in the area.

Simply unbelievably good! The ambiance is very pleasant—not too pretentious, but high-quality. The service was witty, courteous, and prompt. And finally, the food: It tasted so comforting! Simple ingredients are transformed into sophisticated vegan and vegetarian dishes, all with an interesting twist. We left June feeling incredibly satisfied and happy. A truly wonderful experience, well worth it. I also think the prices are absolutely fantastic for what's on offer. You haven't seen the last of us :)

What a fantastic restaurant, I wondered if it could live up to the reviews I'd read and it certainly did. The staff are so friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. The food is some of the best I have ever tasted, dish after dish presented elegantly and bursting with flavour. Go out of your way to eat here.. and make sure you book ahead! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Das Essen kam schnell und frisch und die Köche haben beim Servieren jedes Mal kurz erklärt, was serviert wird und wie das Essen zubereitet wurde. Jeder von uns ist sehr zufrieden satt geworden. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist ebenfalls äußerst gut. Etwas Vergleichbares kann man wahrscheinlich kaum anderswo finden. Eine große Empfehlung für jeden und jede, die gutes Essen genießen. Ich komme sehr, sehr gerne wieder!

Finally a good vegetarian restaurant in Halle! We had a lovely evening at June, the food was creative and great portions for the price. We had the big menu and almost didn't finish it ;) Lennart explained the dishes to us well and provided Charlotte with good service. Overall, the dishes that evening were a bit too salty, but we pointed that out and will definitely come back again. What struck us as a bit strange was that at the end Patrick simply put the dessert on our table without comment. We also stated beforehand that we were there for a birthday and had an intolerance that was not consistently taken into account. Everyone can have a bad evening. We'd love to come back to see for ourselves :)

In terms of the dishes and the cuisine alone, it's the best restaurant I've visited in Halle so far. Creative, surprising and really delicious. The white beans are amazing! Unfortunately there was a bit of a problem with the service during our visit. I don't know if it's always handled this way, but our order of 5 dishes wasn't written down, but rather an attempt was made to remember it. In the end, unfortunately, a course was missing and there was a very long pause between plates halfway through our visit, probably due to inaccurate allocation of dishes to the respective tables. None of this will stop me from dining here again, quite the opposite, but writing down the orders would prevent such a situation and complete the visit. I'm looking forward to hopefully many more evenings in June. Edit March 2025: visited again and all discrepancies from the first visit were resolved. Looking forward to next time, wish you all the best!!

Just wow. I have rarely eaten so well in Halle. You can tell that there is a lot of work, creativity and passion behind the dishes. Be sure to keep it up.

I was there yesterday for the first time, but definitely not the last. We tried different dishes and without exception, everything tasted fantastic. The timing of how the individual courses were served one after the other was also perfect. In terms of price, it is a bit more expensive, but that is absolutely justified given the quality. A big recommendation for anyone who is looking for something different in terms of taste and wants to have a nice evening.

Die übersichtliche und wechselnde Karte lässt keine Wünsche offen, und der Service ist ganz hervorragend. Wir werden immer wieder sehr gerne vorbeikommen und empfehlen das June unbedingt!

That was nice! We had a very perfect evening and were completely carefree. Every new plate that was served to us was interesting and very well thought out. No ingredient was left unrefined here. The service was convincingly authentic and there was generally no unnecessary frills - very pleasant. Definitely go there, really now!

We've been big fans of June for a long time, but on our last visit they outdid themselves once again: perfectly composed menu, great sparkling wine (also non-alcoholic), great wine, incredibly delicious dessert, hardly any waiting time despite the store being full to the brim and of course the wonderful casual atmosphere. I would also give ten stars, but unfortunately that's not possible. See you next time!

Zuvor sei folgendes genannt...das Essen ist sehr, sehr gut. Die Bestellung über Opentable hat perfekt geklappt. Das Essen wird liebevoll serviert und erklärt. Die reduzierte Weinauswahl ist okay, es wurde nach probieren ein wohlschmeckender gefunden. Leider hat es aber 40 min gedauert bis uns die Auswahl vorgestellt wurde. Kleiner Tipp: die Bedienung sollte in der Reihenfolge der Ankunft der Gäste erfolgen bzw. hatten wir den Eindruck das die Entfernung zum Tresen die Reihenfolge der Bedienung bestimmt. Nach uns kamen 10 weitere Gäste die alle eher bedient wurden. Wir freuen uns dennoch auf ein nächstes Mal - wie geschrieben: das Essen ist sehr, sehr gut.

Wir waren zum dritten Mal im June. Wie immer war alles vorzüglich. Man bekommt leckere Gerichte, die man so nirgends anders bekommt. Der Service ist immer extrem freundlich und aufmerksam, auch bei vollem Haus. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Es war einfach wunderbar. Das Essen ist unschlagbar lecker, von der Vorspeise über das Hauptgericht bis zur Nachspeise, einfach ein Erlebnis. Dazu kommt eine tolle Betreuung mit exellenter Empfehlung zum Wein. Es passt elnfach alles und es lohnt sich diese Erfahrung nicht nur einmal zu machen!!!

I didn't have exact expectations. But the food was sensational. Vegan tasty and well combined. The two of us had 3 starters and 2 main courses and couldn't eat everything. The wine selection is limited. The service was enchanting. We will definitely go again 💚 You should too, but definitely make a reservation.

Einfach Klasse. Super lecker Essen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Bei Fragen wurde es ruhig freundlich und mit Freude erklärt. Wir fühlten uns einfach wohl. Eine nächstes Mal wird es definitiv geben. 😊

For us the best restaurant we have ever visited. Definitely deserves a star! Best service, incredibly friendly chef. The dishes are so beautifully conceived with a great eye for nuance and detail. It always seems well thought out. We feel very, very comfortable, the atmosphere is just right. We come back for every new card and highly recommend it.
