We waited 1.5 hours to pick up our pizza. Not recommended!

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food or the ambiance. Since the restaurant was recommended to me, I wanted to have dinner there with a client and reserved a table. (4 days before the appointment) When we arrived, there was construction going on in front of the restaurant, and the restaurant was closed. That was extremely annoying! We had to reschedule at short notice. I specifically provided my phone number when making the reservation. I would have expected to at least be informed that it was closed – but no, no info. – that's a good way to ruin business. I hope no other people had the same experience that evening.

The manager and his wife come to each table to see if everything is okay...all the staff are very nice...from time to time, I take something with me. The manager is very friendly...very nice staff. Guests are money-strapped; if they come alone, they'll be put in a dark corner. I was a guest on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was about half full. Since I was alone, I sat at the smallest table for two by the window. The waitress's first question was whether I was alone, because then I couldn't sit there. She then sat me away from the window in the darkest corner of the restaurant. After the waiter wordlessly placed the menu in front of me, I ate a pizza and drank a cuvée. Since the older lady who brought me the pizza was friendly after all, I gave her a generous tip. At the end, I walked through the restaurant again. The small table by the window was empty. Please send your staff to Austria so they can learn how to treat guests. Also, it's questionable to call yourself Italian when Hawaiian pizza is the number one choice. Not recommended.

Great restaurant. We were welcomed and served very nicely, the food was also very tasty and served attractively. The only small thing is that the potato gratin is really little for the price, the other dishes are again very good in terms of price/performance ratio. But otherwise very tasty pizzas, so I'll be back again.

An American-Italian restaurant that didn't have prosecco and instead served a non-bubbly something as prosecco. Pizza, salads and steak are good, everything else needs an upgrade.

The food was very good - only the dessert was too sweet for me personally. Christina, our waitress was extremely attentive - without being intrusive and VERY friendly. The background music could be a little quieter. A highly recommended restaurant. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We were there for the second time yesterday and it was great again! We've only been living in Gräfelfing for a short time, but Joe Marino has already become my favorite Italian restaurant. Everything is perfect here, the waitresses are very nice and on the ball, the food comes relatively quickly and is really very tasty! There is also a nice ambience and a very child-friendly atmosphere. Our waitress Christina was so good with our 1 1/2 year old son that we would have hired her as a babysitter. Absolutely recommended and great potential as a regular restaurant!

Joe Marino is perfect for every occasion because the team can do both pizzeria and barista / bar, but also very high-quality cuisine (steak or fish!!!). We like to come for a quick pizza after work, but also for family celebrations! Many thanks to the Joe Marino team!!!

Great restaurant - it has a great atmosphere and service. Pizzas are fantastic plus the specials / steak are wonderful. Good with kids and they allow dogs.

Unfortunately, I have to say that my visit to Joe Marino Restaurant was rather disappointing. The waitresses tried very hard and the food itself was good, but unfortunately the owner ruined the evening. He said that the light beer had run out, which I couldn't understand since it wasn't even 6 p.m. and was extremely rude in his dealings. It's a real shame how one individual's behavior can have such a negative impact on the overall impression of a restaurant. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not go there again.

Yesterday at 6 p.m. (the restaurant was 3/4 empty) I wanted to have dinner with a friend and I was "assigned" to a table with dirty, crumbling chairs in the far corner of the restaurant by a snippy, listless waitress. Then I left and won't be coming back.

We can't go to any other Italian restaurant anymore! We really (really!) come here often. Mostly in the evening, but also occasionally at lunchtime and it was always great: what felt like 100 pizza varieties, great antipasti, great pasta, fresh and crunchy salads and always seasonal specials (mussels, mushrooms, pumpkin, etc.). Coffee great: sure! Italian! Wines too (ditto) Patrizio, Christina, Roberto plus the team are really the perfect hosts. See you soon Michael&Emily

The food is good, especially the pizza, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. It takes a long time for the drinks to arrive. It is also difficult to reorder drinks if you are not paid attention to. It seems that as a "regular" (which I am not) you enjoy better/friendlier service.

Most unfriendly service. Try to steal tips for yourself several times. One has the feeling that the guest is a personal burden on the waiter. Dishes forgotten, even after repeated requests.

The prices for the food are too high considering the quality. The employees work very slowly and are extremely unfriendly. They made me and my grandpa (not a good walker) wait a few minutes on our last visit, even though there were tons of free tables. Upon complaint against another waiter acted extremely aggressively. “If you want to eat with them you have to wait!”. We didn't eat there after that and that was probably our last visit. Customer service unworthy of an Italian, especially considering the high prices!

We've been there twice so far. The first time we sat outside, which was much more comfortable than the second time we stayed inside. The food was also much better the first time. In my opinion, the interior is extremely loud, with music playing too loudly in the background, which leads to a very high noise level. Normal conversation at the table was very difficult. The table in general. It was right in the passage area, on this rainy and cool August day it was awfully drafty and someone was constantly walking past behind us. More of a table for guests where you don't expect to stay for long. But I had pre-ordered, so I think you can expect us to stay longer. The service is a bit tomboyish and quick, which is probably due to modern times. The quality of the food was... mixed. A very good tomato soup and a good carpaccio, a serviceable tomato salad. The steaks were ok, but the potato gratin became increasingly dry towards the bottom :-(. Why not leave it up to the guest whether he wanted cheese on his pasta or not? So the fine chanterelles were covered by the cheese, both visually and in terms of taste. The cheese plate was beautifully presented, but the panna cotta was unfortunately too runny. Light and shadow are simply too close together, especially because the food is not overpriced, but still well priced. is. It may be that there is a shortage of staff at the moment, but then you have to consistently adapt the capacity to the staff and not the other way around. I'll probably give it a bit of a break and look for other opportunities.

Went there spontaneously for dinner in the evening. There wasn't much going on and waiters seemed rather annoyed. First get a glass of red wine instead of a glass of white wine. After complaining, 30 minutes later I still didn't get the glass of white wine. After I complained without apologizing, the glass of white wine came. The food was okay, but I didn't even receive a receipt after paying by card. Sorry, I've been there several times but never experienced service like this. I hope the boss reads this and talks to the staff. Hospitality should have a certain priority.

Very good food, slightly higher prices. Tasteful ambience inside and nice terrace for the summer. Always worth a visit. The pizza with truffle and buffalo mozzarella is particularly recommended

Measly lunch menu. We sat comfortably in the garden (the restaurant can't help with the construction noise) and ordered the lunch menu. The starter - more of an amuse gueule - was a dry quinoa salad. The main course was extremely straightforward: the fried salmon tasted good but was the size of a cantuccini, and there were 3 mini florets of broccoli and some cauliflower puree. The white bread was delicious. For dessert there was a small scoop of chocolate ice cream. The whole thing for €14.90!!! But the service was good.

Früher sind wir gerne und regelmäßig ins Joe Marino gegangen. Nachdem wir aber vom vermeintlichen Chef angepöbelt wurden war das wohl das letzte Mal. Gottseidank gibt es im Würmtal noch andere Italiener, die freundlich und nett sind.

We had a 6-course menu on Tuesday evening based on the boss's recommendation and were thrilled! Every dish was absolutely on point and the service was super attentive! The two wines that were recommended to us with the meal were also great. Highly Recommended!

I stumbled across Joe Marino while waiting for the bus during my short stay in Munich. Great service and fabulous pizzas. I loved the quirky toilets which give the impression of going down in a submarine, complete with sound effects.

The food and service were good, but I found the almost choleric reprimands of the boss in front of the guests very unpleasant and that's why I won't go there again
