The food is worth its price. The service is excellent. Gladly again.

I can only agree with the vortexers. But there is one small thing. Given the ridiculously high prices, waiters could even crack a smile.

We sat in the corner and were forgotten. No drinks refilled or offered and the waiter was very unfriendly. The food is really inedible. The octopus was dry and the Bernaise sauce tasted like the herb sauce from the kebab snack bar. After dinner we both felt sick. Anyone who writes here that the food is delicious has apparently never been to another Greek restaurant and doesn't know good food. We absolutely cannot recommend the restaurant

It's been a long time since we've been to this Greek restaurant again after being disappointed the previous time. Unfortunately, we were more than disappointed this time too. The fake friendliness of the waiters is very pushy and strange. There were four of us and we had to wait 2 1/2 hours for our food, which didn't even bring all the dishes we ordered, three dishes were missing. Ouzo on the house doesn't help either! Even for a wine for the ladies you had to wait 20 minutes and it only came after a reminder. The quality of the food was still good, but what we noticed last time was that some dishes were smaller but more expensive. When it came to the bill they then tried to charge us half a liter of wine more. Conclusion: Our experience from last time was confirmed and we will avoid the store again in the future (it's a shame).

We had reserved a table in advance. When we arrived we were shown to a table in the winter garden. It's cool there in winter. All the tables in the dining room were occupied. The winter garden was also pretty full. After about 15 minutes we ordered the drinks and received them quickly. After more than an hour we were finally able to order the food. Previously, none of the waiters paid any attention to us. We got the food after waiting another 1 1/4 hours and it was only lukewarm, regardless of whether it was the garlic potatoes, the gyros or the bifteki. The starter salads are standard, loveless and without creativity. There is some iceberg lettuce, grated carrots, a slice of cucumber and 2 pieces of tomato. For 4 people, 3 hours and lukewarm food we paid 125 euros. We will definitely never come here again! I recommend the Knossos restaurant in Grünheide. Even the starter salads there are delicious and not prepared in a standard way. And the price is right.

We were in the restaurant for the first time today. Were a bit skeptical because of the different reviews. All we can say is that everything was very good. Food and prices are great!!! The service is good and you really can't complain. We would be happy to come back and recommend it to others.

The food is very good, unfortunately we have been disappointed by the service several times. Very fake friendliness and you don't notice any of the Greek hospitality here.

Food but not sufficient. I took the lamb platter, which is available for €30. Despite a starter for €5, I didn't feel full. The service was not good either. When asked about a round (7pers) Ouzo, the eyes were rotated. And the round was also billed. I'm used to something different from the Greeks. I'm not coming back.

After various experiences with Irodion, I cannot rate this place well in comparison to other Greek restaurants. In addition, the quality seems to be gradually decreasing. Finally, the Suflaki were dry and rock hard (without any sauce, probably warmed up) for around 17 euros. Moussaka was still cold in the middle, and the cheese was rubbery for around 17 euros. Both without sauces. Zatziki costs an additional 6 euros. We have been to Greece many times, but “Irodion” has little to do with good Greek food.

Celebrated my birthday at Irodium. It was a very nice evening all around. The employees were very friendly, quick and always joking. The food was delicious and at the end there was a surprise for the birthday child. Our special thanks go to Wassili, who looked after us the whole evening with his friendly, funny manner. THANK YOU, we'll be happy to come back.

Great, great, definitely worth it

First impression upon entering: very generic looking restaurant. Where am I? Greek, Italian or German? You don't know. Any of the usual kitschy Greek decorations cannot be found. Very modern and sterile furnishings. I missed the well-known painting depicting the Syrtaki. I also looked in vain for the Styrofoam columns in the ancient Greek style. This confusion of location continued on the menu. To our amazement, we discovered Bruschetta...We ordered it in the spirit of Andreas Möller's slightly modified words: Whether Rome or Venice, the main thing is Greek. Conclusion of the Italian starter: Bland and tasteless. Unfortunately, the wrong drink was served with the main course, which was sumptuous and quite passable. Kellerbier was ordered, but a Pilsner was served. The slightly higher alcohol content of the cellar beer would have been an advantage, because the ouzo, which is otherwise common everywhere, was completely forgotten. The former motto of the electronics retailer “Saturn” seems to be prominent here. Stinginess is cool! Because the garlic potatoes were also burning on the back burner on the tongue. Even after eating these potatoes and plenty of tzatziki, there was no need to set up a quarantine zone at home. That means: The potatoes and the tzatziki certainly said “hello” to the garlic from afar. So we left this establishment uncharacteristically sober, but without bad breath.

I have nothing to complain about, are very happy here good food, good service, good portions and delicious!

We chose this restaurant in Schöneiche for a class reunion. I couldn't understand the negative reviews I read before. We were about 22 people. Within an hour we had our drinks and very plentiful food on the table. We were served politely and courteously throughout the evening, but also with funny interludes from the waiters. This restaurant is also highly recommended for larger events.

We sat in the beautiful outdoor area on super comfortable chairs. The food was delicious. There were large portions, gladly again. The only thing that is difficult is the parking situation if all of the restaurant's parking spaces are occupied.

The first Greek where we didn't get an ouzo!!! I've never experienced that before. All the other tables had already received an ouzo and they hadn't even sat down yet. All new guests who came received 3 ouzos before eating. Probably only get regular guests. The service was a disaster, we were hardly noticed at all.

The quality of the food is very appropriate for the slightly higher prices. It always tastes fantastic. Reservations are recommended for the evening, especially on weekends.

We were here for my grandma's 77th birthday. The operator interrupted us several times when we were ordering and was rude. The side information about the birthday was not addressed at all. We also asked several times to turn down the music because we were literally bombarded with music. Of course, as the evening progressed, the volume increased again. An outrage! The request to serve my starter with the main course was rejected - without justification. “The customer is king” does not apply here. The vegetables in my main course were cold. It's a shame that such a special day is ruined like that.

July 24th We discovered something new for ourselves. Have been there a few times now. Really a nice atmosphere. Everyone is nice and on point. There's nothing to complain about about the food. There is a large, diverse selection. Price performance is still right here! 28.Aug.24 My girlfriend was there alone today - that's not possible, no proper greeting, sloppy treatment and last but not least, the tip was included in the card payment!!! You don't do that! It's a shame, we enjoyed being there!

As with many Greek restaurants, the side salad is unfortunately slapped away carelessly and not even worth trying. Gryros is also disappointing in terms of quality and taste. The fries were only lukewarm when served, which indicates timing problems. All grilled meat, however, was very good. The desert was ok. Overall, the restaurant tries to serve the many tables fairly quickly and well. Praise for the service. Price-performance ratio is still good overall. It wouldn't be a restaurant that I would go to with a euphoric visit, but it's ok. Unfortunately not anymore.

You can sit well in the covered summer garden. Food is good and plentiful. Try garlic potatoes! Only for those who like it!

Went there for dinner yesterday in anticipation. The restaurant is beautifully and modernly decorated. Unfortunately, we were served by a waiter who thought he was great, but who came across as insulting, rude and ignorant. The food is not in proportion to the prices. After we had eaten we were literally swept out, when we paid the waiter literally complained about the not so generous tip... It's a shame, now the restaurant has lost 12 guests in one fell swoop.

Everything as you would expect from a Greek: ouzo, greasy food, large portions. Not only name your food when ordering, but also when it is served (you should have the number and name of the dish ready) and finally when you pay. The fight for another drink after the first round of drinks and the main course are finished is tough, but not hopeless. If you like Greek food, you can't go wrong here!

They are always nice and friendly... and now with the absolutely great roof, we prefer to sit 'outside'. We love our appetizer platter and there isn't one better anywhere.

This was by far the restaurant where we had to wait the longest for our food. Even though they apologized right at the beginning that they had 2 larger groups. But we arrived at 6:30 p.m. as reserved. Starter and salad were then quickly served. But that was the main course, and we had nothing special other than a starter, salad and garlic bread, despite repeated inquiries as to why neighboring tables who came clearly after us were served, and then even their successors already had their food received... Our main course finally reached us at 9.30 p.m.... Even all the ouzos couldn't save us... And in terms of food, nothing special. Bifteki in bechamel sauce ... It's worth considering whether it's really Greek... Also the gyros in Metaxa... Somehow it's better... OK, it's all a matter of taste... But still a positive point. It began to rain. My wife and I, physically disabled. Hoping to get a taxi to the hotel that evening, the staff tried to organize something. If you have physical limitations, you should keep this point in mind. It's hopeless to get anything in the area... A vehicle from Berlin saved us...

A nice restaurant with a “winter garden”. It depends on when you go and who you are served by. The service was a bit disappointing, there were 5 of us and we waited forever for drinks, starters and main courses. Unfortunately I've had better Greek food elsewhere.

There is no meat on the starter platter, only cheese... We thought so too. Quite expensive but the ambience is very nice.

We were invited there for a birthday, the atmosphere is appealing, the winter garden is very nice, what surprised us was that it was very empty for a Saturday, as our Greeks are used to it differently. Many different waiters take care of a table, which leads to confusion. This led to a drink being served twice. An absolute no-go is the reaction of an employee who reacted in a very rude manner, something like that doesn't work at all!! Overall, no recommendation for us.

A very nice restaurant with a winter garden. The service is always attentive and very friendly. It is very comfortably furnished, so you can also drink one or two more ouzos. The food has always been without complaint and is actually always far too much. But you can have the leftovers packed up. For the little ones there is a children's menu with typical children's dishes.

Well furnished - modern, clean - you felt comfortable. Not top was: -The waiter - taciturn without making a face - seemed annoyed - no parking as the parking lot was mercilessly overcrowded - people even parked on the sidewalk - Price / performance - 20 euros for half a plate which didn't blow me away in terms of taste - cup of coffee is espresso size - garlic bread for 3 people means 4 slices - only 2 rounds of ouzo (complaining at a high level but otherwise it feels like it's refilled every few minutes )

So we were completely satisfied with our visit to Irodion. The food tasted very good, the service was very friendly and we also really liked the ambience, including parking in front of the door. You'll be happy to come back!

We were in this restaurant on Friday. When I entered I first thought that I was entering a sauna. It was unspeakably warm. We also asked for a window to be opened, which happened. So now to the facts. Sorry, but the prices for the food are slowly increasing to levels that, in our opinion, don't quite do justice to the matter. But the real problem is this. We were the last at 10:20 p.m. and at this point we were told at the table when we ordered a drink that it was the last round and whether we wanted the bill straight away. This 40 minutes before the restaurant closes. That's like getting kicked out. In our opinion this is an insult to the customer. Because he should have a nice evening and not be asked to pay and finally leave. For me, this was the second time since the owner changed that I was asked to leave early. Definitely very customer unfriendly handling like this. They shouldn't forget who secures their money and jobs. There won't be a third time from my side.

So far we have eaten at the Irodion restaurant once or twice a year on the occasion of birthdays because we like the atmosphere and the food tastes good. Yesterday, different waiters kept coming to the table and more often to ask about any repeat orders. This seemed a little more intrusive than we remembered from our previous visits. Unfortunately, yesterday's visit left a very bitter aftertaste when we paid the bill. We paid in cash (invoice amount €176) and rounded up to €180. Of course you could say that you could have given more, but that should be up to you. In any case, the waiter was standing at the table. So there was no time to think about it. The waiter immediately complained about it and asked if we weren't happy with the service. I find that very invasive. Unfortunately, this was our last visit when a 10% tip is required (see also reviews for card payments). That would have been €17.60 for us.

Food not particularly good and too expensive. Alcohol was constantly offered. A waiter constantly wants to refill the drink. Wine from plastic glasses! It doesn't work at all.

Friendly service & delicious food after an average waiting time. So far so great...but the bill followed. At first they wanted cash, then they refused my debit and credit cards - because they would "always be a hassle"... So the woman's debit card remained. Then, at home, came the realization. They ignored our rounding up (tip) of 5.50 euros to 70 euros and instead received a 10% tip. Cheeky & bold. Actually, they could have remained in our fond memories...

The restaurant is centrally located in Schöneiche, has a parking space, is nicely decorated inside (looks new), but in my opinion it lacks that certain something (no charm, not cozy). We were there on a Sunday afternoon - after lunch and before evening business. Therefore, the restaurant was relatively uncrowded, which gave us peace and quiet and a fairly quick meal. The food was tasty, but the portions could have been larger. The waiters were very different - from extremely friendly to lazy and cheeky. So the salad plate was snatched from under my nose by a "silent" waiter before I had finished eating, WITHOUT the main course being brought afterwards. All in all, we had a good opinion up until the payment process - especially because of the fresh manner of the first waiter - and would probably have come back. My husband wanted to pay by card and offered debit card and Visa. Both were rejected, they wanted cash. I happened to have an EC card with me, at least it was accepted. Then it happened very quickly, we wanted to leave a tip, but didn't even get around to communicating it. We only saw that we had had a 10% tip deducted when we got home from the card receipt. What kind of scam is that? This scares me away, I won't come back.

Coming here on a Saturday evening is like playing Russian Roulette. Unfortunately, we were very unlucky and left the well-filled restaurant after 3.5 hours of waiting without eating. The waiters tried their best to keep the mood with a free drink, but if it is clear that the kitchen is understaffed or other factors explain this situation, this should be communicated openly to the guests, preferably before they order and wait forever. "Unfortunately it's taking longer for the food to arrive today." while ordering is desirable, then you as a guest can prepare for it. But to keep giving an arbitrary number of minutes when asked repeatedly is a shame. We probably won't come back.

Am Samstag dem 24.02.2024 besuchte unser Team das Restaurant Irodion, gegen jeder Kritik von zahlreichen Kunden, die hier schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht hatten. Leider mussten Wir feststellen das so wohl der Preis wie auch der Mangel an Erfolg diesem Restaurant sehr fehlt. Das klingt jetzt böse, doch wenn ein Restaurant in 3,5 Stunden es nicht schafft das Essen auf den Tisch zu stellen, ist es mehr als Entäuschend! Hier kam es zu zahlreichen vertrösten mehrerer Gäste von 18 bis 21:30 Uhr. Die Ausrede immer die selbe Wir sind überbucht. Ein Rabatt für längere Wartezeiten wurde erst nachdem Wir das Restaurant verlassen haben Angeboten in Höhe von 10% auf das Essen was in etwa 2,-€ betrage. Es kam auch hier zu Kommentaren, wie oft sind sie hier und sie können es nicht Nachvollziehen. Da haben Sie recht, doch so funktioniert keine Kundenaquise soviel steht fest! Das Böse an der ganzen Geschichte ist nur, das Gäste die in den 3,5 Stunden gekommen sind ihr Essen innerhalb von 30 Minuten bekamen. Auch hier gab es eine Begründung, sie hatten eine Vorspeise. Das ist Falsch, ihr Kellner hat vor Ort uns gefragt er würde etwas Bereitstellen, uns jedoch nicht mitgeteilt das wir dann in Folge dessen 3,5 Stunden auf unser Essen warten würden und wir selbst Schuld sind das Wir solange warten würden. Fazit: Den Fehler beim Kunden suchen ist Leicht und macht sorgenfrei Dieses Restaurant Idonion bekommt bei mir 1/5 Sternen, weil der Kunde nur eine zahlende Geldquelle ist! Hinsichtlich auf unser Erlebnis würde ich dieses Restaurant nicht weiter Empfehlen!

Not recommended! On Saturday, February 24th, 2024, our team (10 people) visited the Irodion restaurant, against all criticism from numerous customers who had had bad experiences here. Unfortunately, we had to realize that both the price and the lack of success of this restaurant are very lacking. That sounds bad, but if a restaurant doesn't manage to put food on the table in 3.5 hours, it's more than disappointing! There were numerous gatherings of several guests from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The excuse is always the same. We are overbooked. A discount for longer waiting times was only offered after we left the restaurant in the amount of 10% on the meal, which amounted to around €2. There were also comments here about how often they are here and they can't understand it. You're right, but that's not how customer acquisition works, that's for sure! The bad thing about the whole story is that guests who came during the 3.5 hours received their food within 30 minutes. There was a reason here too, they had an appetizer. That's wrong, your waiter asked us on site if he would provide something, but didn't tell us that we would then wait 3.5 hours for our food. It is our own fault that the waiting time is so long.

Unfortunately, we had to leave the restaurant with an empty stomach again after waiting 3.5 hours for our food, while other guests came after us and left before us. To tide us over, there was only a simple salad for which we had to wait over 1.5 hours. As a consolation, we were told that the food would come in about 15 minutes. At this point we still had a little over 2 hours of waiting time ahead of us. Overall, the communication from the service staff present was not good and caused us a lack of understanding. During our visit there were probably staffing problems in the kitchen, which we of course understand. But we had made a reservation a few days before our visit. Either you simply accept fewer reservations or at least communicate this to the guests in advance.
