Restaurant Herkules in Berlin

Wir waren mit dem Essen, den Preisen, dem Service und dem reichlich fließenden Ouzo zufrieden. Typische griechische Speisen in guter Qualität. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Genau richtig. Viel Erfolg weiterhin.

Romiosini is legendary. I don't know a nicer Greek restaurant in Spandau—and it's been going for over 40 years! Always delicious, and the service is simply perfect :-) Thank you, we'll be back!

It used to be so good, a little bit salty but very tasty. The protein has less flavor now, but what ruined it for me is really the sauce. It was way too fat, when the ones a had before (a few years ago) had a light yoghurty sauce, this time it felt like heavy cream. Smaller than before but I couldn’t have more.

So, we ordered a grill platter for two people, but basically we received a platter meant for one person, which was then divided between two. The quality of the meat is abysmal; I wouldn't even serve it to my dog. I've eaten gyros at various Greek restaurants and in Greece itself, but this stuff from a shop has nothing to do with real gyros. It reminds me of the pre-packaged stuff from the supermarket. This is a rip-off, and I advise everyone against ordering from there!

A truly great restaurant for experiencing Berlin in the traditional way. However, as soon as the kitchen is cold, you can easily light up your cigarettes in the dining room and wallow in the squalor. Absolutely not recommended.
