A very friendly welcome and an incredibly child-friendly restaurant. The kids were given gummy bears and "kids' ouzo"... wonderful!

This is what a Greek restaurant should be like! We were there as a young family and felt very, very comfortable. Great staff and great food! We'll be back.

We had dinner on Saturday. A catastrophe. My wife ordered pizza and I grilled plates. Pizza the size of children's pizza for 13.50. Grill plate with fries rice tzatziki for 22.50. Tzatziki was just quark and cooked rice with a few drops of tomato sauce. This has nothing to do with Greek food. impudence.

Is recommended again. The starter plate was good and sufficient. The main course is freshly prepared. Tasty and sufficient in taste. The service was very friendly. Reasonably priced.

The absolute number 1 in Wesel and the surrounding area. Would give more than 5 stars if possible! Hellas offers an excellent selection of traditional dishes, all freshly prepared and served with great attention to detail. The service is always friendly and attentive, you immediately feel at home, really familiar and even nicer after the renovation. I can particularly recommend the souvlaki and of course the gyros – both were perfectly seasoned and simply delicious! Atmosphere is cozy and inviting. My parents have been going there with us since we were children. Definitely a place I will continue to enjoy visiting again and again.

Great service in the family-run restaurant, you immediately feel at home. The food is perfect every time. Price/performance is right. Great atmosphere even after renovation. We have been coming for decades and will continue to love coming back. Thank you for this added value in Wesel.

We were there several times before the renovation. But we NEVER came to evaluate the inventory or something similar, but to enjoy delicious food. The price-performance ratio is absolutely ok and we welcome the consistently very friendly/attentive service. Here we always have a cozy evening with delicious food. We really like the new atmosphere and we think it's great that dogs are no longer allowed. We are dog owners ourselves but in our opinion, the dog should stay outside (or at home). We are happy to give it 5 stars and can recommend it 100%.

I was at the Hellas restaurant in Wesel and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. You feel welcome from the first moment. The menu offers a great selection of authentic Greek dishes and the quality of the food is outstanding. I can particularly recommend the baked specialties with Metaxa sauce – simply a delight! The side dishes were also fresh and perfectly prepared. What I particularly liked was the attention to detail. Both the presentation of the dishes and the service show that the work here is done with heart. The location right on the market square is also ideal, and when the weather is good, eating outside is even more fun. I can recommend Restaurant Hellas to anyone who loves Greek cuisine or just wants to try something new. I'll definitely be back!

Hello, today I visited this restaurant for the first time.. We had reserved a table and we were the first ones there guests. The reception was very friendly and accommodating, a very nice and clean atmosphere immediately caught our attention.. The service was very attentive. The starter, sheep cheese with beetroot carpaccio and honey was more than good, highly recommended.. The tzatziki with bread was very tasty, although I would have liked a slightly different bread from a Greek, toasted like wheat bread. We also chose the tomato soup as a starter, but unfortunately it was served to us half cold, but that shouldn't happen next time... The food was generally very well prepared and very tasteful. Unfortunately I have to complain about the fish platter that the salmon was very dry.. That's why I only give 4 stars, soon I hope it will be five, because the food is simply delicious in terms of taste and sauces... But everyone's taste is different and everyone should decide for themselves. I can only recommend this restaurant for myself. Speaking from experience and eating out more than 10 times a month... The ambience after the renovation is really great! 👍 Before it was quite old, but now you can feel very comfortable. On Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. every table was occupied; This of course led to a fairly high volume in the room. The service was extremely good, the waitresses were very, very attentive. The quality of the food remained unchanged (good, but not absolutely outstanding). Unfortunately, the parking garage at the Großer Markt was closed today, so finding a parking space wasn't that easy. In short: The restaurant has gained a lot from the renovation and we would like to come back.

Very nice after the renovation, food also tastes good, but the portion sizes are laughable! The side dishes of fries aren't even a small portion and the rice is gone in 2 bites... It's a shame, but all 6 of us were actually still hungry afterwards and got fries etc. on the way.

We have been going to this restaurant regularly for many years and are always very satisfied. The friendliness of the staff is exemplary and there is a wide selection of delicious food and drinks. The lunch menu in particular is unbeatable in terms of price! Even when it's full of guests, waiting times are short. Well, the “Hellas” has also been completely renovated and it has become really beautiful. We will often visit “Hellas” because it is the best restaurant we know!

We have been regular customers for 30 years, with our dog, who of course always has to be with us. Now suddenly dogs are no longer allowed. 1 regular customer less, I think that's why many more will follow. All I can say is wrong decision.

De smaken waren verfijnd en de presentatie zag er prachtig uit. De bediening was snel en attent, zonder opdringerig te zijn. Ook fijn: de porties zijn ruim, maar niet te groot, en de prijs is zeker redelijk voor wat je krijgt. Ik kom hier graag nog eens terug en raad het iedereen aan die op zoek is naar een bijzondere eetervaring!

Enttäuschend. Der Vorspeisenteller ein Witz. Jeweils 3 Scheibchen Zucchini und Aubergine, 2 gebratene Minipaprika, ein Klecks Tsatziki mit 1 Olive! und einen halben Saganaki, das alles für 13,90 €. Der Gyrosteller war lecker, aber es war eine winzige Portion. Der Salat aus der Tüte mit einer kleistrigen Mayonnaise Sauce. Vom Preis nicht angemessen. Schade… nach Renovierung des Ladens muss man vielleicht erst mal abwarten ob es besser wird

The restaurant is getting old. The food is of the standard frittenbude. Salad first - bag salad with sauce from the bottle. Gyros in a soup cup - plus a scoop of rice from the ice cream scoop, fries counted out. You definitely have to have something else afterwards eat .Never again.

Was very disappointed today. The food was very tasteless, barely seasoned and bland. The gyro meat was shredded so small that you would have needed a spoon rather than a fork to eat it. The rice was not dressed but plain with a drizzle of ketchup. The best was the tzatziki. Too bad!

Das Hellas in Wesel ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp! Das Essen ist absolut authentisch und super lecker. Jedes Gericht, das wir probiert haben, war frisch, mit Liebe zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Die Portionen sind großzügig, sodass man auf jeden Fall satt und zufrieden nach Hause geht. Die Lage direkt am Weseler Dom und Marktplatz ist ideal – mitten im Zentrum, aber dennoch ruhig und gemütlich. Das Ambiente ist einladend und bietet die perfekte Atmosphäre für einen entspannten Abend. Der Service war ebenfalls großartig. Das Team war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Wer auf der Suche nach leckerem griechischen Essen in toller Lage ist, sollte unbedingt das Hellas besuchen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Cuisine and gastronomy with passion, clean, romantic flair, view of the beautiful cathedral! Little tip; The exact same meals are also available for lunch until 3 p.m. at cheaper prices and even the many delicious wines! I even got a salad, a dessert with Greek yogurt and honey and a schnapps at no extra charge. Hats off, that's rare! The boss himself asks the guests how it tasted... so YAMAZ...HA HA... WE WILL BE AGAIN OFTEN..

We once had the village plate with bifteki and gyros. The second dish was a gyro plate with souvlaki. Both dishes with fries, Rice and very tasty tzatziki. Salad plate beforehand and as dessert, there was Greek yoghurt on the house. We found it very attentive, before the meal there was an ouzo and after the meal another ouzo. What more could you want. Please keep it up, because good restaurants are in short supply.

Today we were in Hellas for the first and last time. On the recommendation of the waiter I decided on the pizza. It was actually okay, except for the canned mushrooms... My friend ate the ouzo platter. Unfortunately all the meat was fried to death. Okay... we probably should have said that straight away, but we told the waitress everything after the meal. But there was no further reaction. When my friend posted his opinion "Photos speak louder than words" on Google Reviews, the son immediately came? of the house and complained about the review...

Thanks to a recommendation and a corresponding hunger, we ended up at Hellas. Not nicely decorated inside, preferred to sit outside. For food, the portion is really not big for a Greek. Metaxa Gyros = Grade Unsatisfactory. Industrial gyros, no taste of Metaxa sauce like water. Few fries, salad beforehand is a joke. For 20 euros I just expect more in a restaurant. Otherwise we ordered a grilled plate, also a small portion, carelessly distributed, but the price is not justified. The service is nice and our opinion is expressed when asked. Whatever, it was a failure.

Stopped in for a beer and lunch, luckily thought to ask about paying by card. It was explained to me that payment is possible, but only with a card issued by a German bank. My VISA was not accepted here, and I really don't carry cash with me for security reasons (I'm a truck driver). I tried to withdraw cash at a nearby Volks bank but was unsuccessful there as well. The service was so amazing that I became their guest, because I really only had about 10€ in cash with me in small coins. May all the gods bless the waiter and give him an abundance of goodness and love. He didn't even want me to send him money to his private account or the restaurant's account. The food was extremely tasty, really a pleasure, what ends up on the plate is fresh and extremely well balanced, the flavors are really fabulous. Service was satisfactory, if you needed something you didn't have to wait that long. You can also feel really comfortable in the restaurant, beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is very sociable, nice, helpful staff.
