Went there for dinner again today and it was great as always...Whether it was a starter, main course or dessert...especially the homemade Snickers and the chocolate mice were a dream...Of course our nice waitress/boss Katerina should also be mentioned...She read all of our wishes from our eyes. Yesterday's Valentine's Day was even romantically decorated and Katerina had delicious cakes ready for dessert after the generous main course portions. We felt very comfortable and had a lovely evening. We tried it with four adults and two children: Piperies sto Grill with fresh pita Preveza plate Beef liver Bifteki Gyros with tzatziki Pepper schnitzel (even those who don't like eating Greek will find what they're looking for on the large menu!) Call, reserve, go there, enjoy!

We ate at Helena for the first time today for my birthday, found it through the very good reviews on the internet. We received a very warm welcome, even when we were reserving a table on the phone we felt a sense of familiarity. There were three of us who had starters of olive pepperoni and flatbread and rolled grape leaves to die for. 1x the Helena plate 1x baked bifteki with metaxa sauce 1x myth plate The food was very, very tasty, rarely eaten so good! We'll be back and have made reservations for my girlfriend's birthday. The boss and the waitress were very nice and what can I say, you felt like you were at home. She also had a little surprise for me for my birthday 😊 A must if you're in the area - it's worth the trip. Photos of the food will come on the next visit 😊 Dessert already posted. A visit to Helena once a week is a must. Whether vegetarian or with lots of meat, everyone will find something tastier to eat here. The always fresh selection of desserts rounds off the excellent meal.

This is one of the best Greeks in the Rhine Main area. Service is great and the food is fantastic! The managing family is extremely friendly and has a heart for children. We have taken her to our hearts.

Today we were there for the first time with good friends to have something good to eat. I have to honestly say that it was an unforgettable evening. There is hardly a second time where you will find such a friendly and warm atmosphere. The food took the whole thing up a notch, just awesome. We will now take a short vacation here more often. We celebrated our daughter's baptism at the Greek restaurant Helena and it was an unforgettable experience. The table buffet was rich and extremely tasty. The variety of delicacies amazed us all. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We really felt like we were part of a big family. Wir fühlten uns wirklich wie in einer großen Familie. Ein besonderer Dank geht an die Besitzerin Katerina, die sich so herzlich um uns gekümmert hat. Wir waren jetzt schon öfter da und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das Fleisch ist saftig und zart, der Tzatziki ist auch noch wirklich hausgemacht, Pita, Salate und Weine… alles top. Die Chefin und das Personal sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wenn man ein bisschen flexibel mit der Uhrzeit ist und man sich telefonisch beim Reservieren bespricht, hat man wirklich kaum Wartezeit und alles läuft wie am Schnürchen. Der Gastraum ist griechisch eingerichtet mit familiärem Stil, man fühlt sich wohl :)

We came across Helena while passing through/stopping at the Kahl campsite. The restaurant is a bit off the main street, which adds to the charm. It was well attended for an evening in the middle of the week. The food was top! Price-performance ratio is very good. The service was very warm. If we end up in Kahl again, we will definitely go there again.

Today was the second time I went to this family-run restaurant with friends. What can I say, I really enjoyed it again and the care was great. My dishes: on the first visit Bifteki, highly recommended, today Gyros pan Metaxa sauce, unfortunately forgot the photo. Next time.

Tasty food, portions are excellent, normal prices. If there are many guests in the restaurant, it can take a little longer, but that is in the nature of things and is within limits. We have visited the restaurant several times and would love to go there again.

We were at the Helena Essen restaurant today on Easter Monday. We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable. The food was very tasty and the portions were enough to fill you up. I had a Bifteki special with Metaxa sauce and cheese (highly recommended😉). Everything is delicious fresh from the oven. The menu is full of many delicious Greek dishes and I think everyone will find something there. My family enjoyed it very much. Plus the warmth of the hosts. Completely satisfied, we will come back.

I often eat at the Helena restaurant. It's always a warm welcome when you see each other. Today, on Easter Monday, I ordered a table and had my parents and my brother and their family with me. They were also really excited about the food ,Service and ambience. My parents said straight away that we would eat there again at Christmas.

If you want to have a delicious Greek meal, you've come to the right place at Katharina's. We were there for the first time today, it was delicious, it was authentic Greece and just perfect. We will be back. It was delicious.

The starter salad was bland and definitely over-seasoned. My gyro was overloaded with cheese and unfortunately only microwaveable. Wouldn't eat here again.

Super leckeres Essen !!!! Auch die Chefin ist toll. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Vorspeise ist super, aber statt dem vegetarischen Teller sollte man lieber einen gemischten Teller der warmen Vorspeisen wählen, der größer war und günstiger. Ich hatte den vegetarischen Teller, u.a. weil ich die rote Spitzpaprika gefüllt mit Feta wollte. Stattdessen gabs 2 rote Minipaprika gefüllt mit Frischkäse aus dem Glas. Darauf angesprochen, wurde mit der Corona-Zeit argumentiert, dass man da einiges hat wegwerfen müssen und es somit ändern musste. Verstehe natürlich, dass man die Karte hin und wieder anpassen muss, aber leider war’s in der Karte nicht geändert und der Preis war absolut ungerechtfertigt, insbesondere im Vergleich mit den gemischten warmen Vorspeisen. Schade.

Wir haben, im Oktober, die Taufe unserer Kinder im Restaurant Helena gefeiert und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Kommunikation war super und es war auch kein Problem schon früher zu kommen und mit Kaffee und Kuchen zu beginnen. Die Dekoration war sehr hübsch gemacht und im allgemeinem ist das Lokal schön dekoriert. Auch das essen ist lecker und es gibt auch richtig griechische Küche. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Waren heute zum ersten Mal dort. Haben es nur durch Zufall gesehen .Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung (Besitzerin ) war auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend . Seit langem nicht mehr so eine nette Bedienung erlebt. Dieses Restaurant kann ich jedem nur empfehlen . Waren gestern wieder mal bei Helena. Wie immer absolut 1A. Ich kann jedem nur die Leber und Lamm Kotelett empfehlen. Die sind der Hammer. Hab das schon oft woanders gegessen. Aber so lecker wie bei ihr, war es nirgends. Hier fühlt man sich wohl. Man merkt das ihr die Arbeit Spaß macht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit bei Helena gefeiert und gehen auch so sehr gerne hin. Der Service ist super und das griechische Essen authentisch und echt lecker! Das Restaurant ist liebevoll dekoriert und man wird immer herzlich empfangen, auch wenn der Abend mal stressiger ist. Egal ob Fleisch oder vegetarisch hier findet jeder etwas zu essen. Der Geheimtipp ist das Schokoladensouffle. ;)

Ein bisschen versteckt in einer Wohngegend in Kahl am Main fanden wir (zwei Frankfurter mit einem Hang zum schönen Kahl) mit der Hilfe von GOOGLE das griechische Lokal „Helena“. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Gutes Essen: Vorspeise „Feta Psiti in Alu-Folie gegrillt“ mit Pita „Knoblauch / Oregano“ war der Hammer -- unsere Hauptspeisen „Korfu“ und „Helena“ waren super lecker und absolut authentisch gewürzt (wie auch anders, wenn die Besitzerin Katerina stolz darauf hinweist eine echte Griechin zu sein). Die Portionen waren reichhaltig, aber niemand muss dort heimlich und verstohlen nach einem „Doggy Bag“ fragen. Beim Abräumen der Teller bekamen wir sofort angeboten, das übrig gebliebene Fleisch zum Mitnehmen eingepackt zu bekommen. „Wäre ja sonst schade darum“. On top: Sehr nettes Personal und auch nette weitere Gäste, die sich sofort als Katerina’s Stammgäste geoutet haben. Wir sind im Jahr öfter mal in Kahl und das „Helena“ werden wir sicherlich bald und gerne wieder besuchen.

Solide griechische Küche. Wir hatten Bifteki mit Käsefüllung, Pommes u. Salat und gegrillte Calamaris mit Pommes u. Salat. Wartezeit knapp eine Stunde. Essen war aber frisch und schmackhaft. Bedienung freundlich, Preis/Leistung in Ordnung. Wir kommen wieder!!

Ich kann die ganzen guten Bewertungen leider auch nicht teilen....wir waren gestern das erste Mal da und waren enttäuscht...ich hatte Gyros das war teilweise ziemlich knorpelig und Fettig. Die Pommes waren auch ziemlich braun. Meine Frau hatte Gyros spezial und das war teilweise ziemlich Fettig. Schade. Können das Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen. Die 3 Sterne vergebe nur für die Bedienung. Ein junger Mann sehr freundlich und schnell.
