We shared the grill plate between two people; it was really delicious and the meat selection was great!

A steak restaurant that unfortunately closes at 9:30 p.m. The food is okay, and so is the service. Don't expect anything "special."

Everything was as expected, cozy and you feel comfortable.

The service could definitely be better. The food is solid—not really any different from the numerous other Balkan restaurants.

Despite the hour-long wait, I was more than satisfied. The food was perfect. We had a steak and cevapcici, and everything was perfect. The crockettes were delicious, as were the fries. The starter salad was fresh and the dressing was well-served. I would especially like to praise the staff; they were very friendly, accommodating, and in a good mood despite the stress. At the end, there was a great liqueur. We'd be happy to come back. The price/performance ratio was right.

We were a returning customer of Wiemer for a long time. However, due to the sharp decline in service, this restaurant has finally lost us as customers. Details: Service: 0 * When we (a family of three) returned to our favorite restaurant today for the first time since the lockdown, we were immediately greeted unfriendly in the outdoor area. All but one of the tables were free. The secluded, covered table we then headed for was refused quite rudely. "No, no big table for you, there are plenty of small tables free here." We then took our drink order with a long face, reminding us that we had brought a plastic water bottle for our 2-year-old daughter and hadn't ordered a glass of water. The question about the possibility of paying by card was answered with a cynical "If it works." The answer was thrown to me as I walked away. When I talk to a guest, I usually look them in the eye, or at least don't turn away while speaking. We then ordered our food, followed by a quick question about how we were feeling (as you'd expect as a guest), and our mood improved a bit. The euphoria was then quickly dampened when we noticed that a group of visitors was harshly warned to wear face masks upon entering the outdoor area. That's fine, but the group of regulars 15 minutes later didn't have to. Furthermore, perhaps a sign with rules of conduct should be put up at the entrance if everyone is expected to wear a face mask. In the current situation, that's standard practice everywhere else. It saves you the trouble of warning guests. Everywhere else, you're currently greeted at the entrance and shown to your table. As soon as these regulars arrived and were treated with almost servile courtesy, you felt even more like a dirty mess. After all, we were the only guests besides the group in the outdoor area that he was responsible for. When we asked for ice cream for our daughter, we were met with downright annoyance because they had to bring us a card. We couldn't get the ice cream order out of the way. The waiter consistently ignored us, walking past us several times without taking our order. When he finally noticed us again after about 15 minutes and came over, it was too late to order because of our daughter. We couldn't say that anymore, so he got ahead of us and said, "Would you rather have ice cream next time? Then no." Before he could leave, I quickly asked for the bill, paying by card. When he then showed up with the debit terminal and didn't get a tip from me because of the abysmal service, he dropped the receipt on the table without a word or a glance. We didn't even acknowledge our goodbyes. We haven't experienced such lousy service there in all our years. But I promise we won't again! PS: This disrespectful behavior didn't exactly contribute to a perfect birthday for my wife. Cuisine: 4* Despite our negative experience, the cuisine at Wiemer is, in our opinion, among the best in Hamm. The meat is always cooked to perfection, the sauces are amazing, and the vegetables are fresh. Ambience: 3* The ambiance is okay. The beer garden is well-roofed and protected from the sun. Those expecting something special might be a little disappointed by the atmosphere. It's rather dignified and rustic, but it also has its charm.

Delicious food at a reasonable price – fantastic! We went for dinner on Thursday (June 5, 2024) – unknowingly, but fittingly, for Schnitzel Day. The schnitzels were delicious (as was the salad served before them); the price was reasonable. Great, keep it up! We'll be back!

The food was delicious, but the decor is dated, and the checkout area isn't exactly inviting. It's very messy and cluttered.

Delicious food, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The icing on the cake would have been a nightcap on the house at the end. Our meal and the resulting bill (for four people) would have certainly warranted it.

Haus Wiemer – Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and dog-friendly I've been to Haus Wiemer several times and always enjoy coming back – especially when I'm craving a good schnitzel. Location & Accessibility: The restaurant is easily accessible on a main road, a bit away from the center of Werries. Especially in summer, it's also a popular destination for cyclists. There are ample parking spaces – both directly in front of the building and to the side – making getting there very easy. Reservations & Opening Hours: A reservation isn't absolutely necessary, but I personally prefer to play it safe – especially if you're traveling with more than four people. On my last visit, I was there at 7 p.m. on a Friday evening, with a reservation. The restaurant officially closes at 9 p.m., which I personally find a bit early – 10 p.m. would be more appropriate, as we weren't the only ones still sitting comfortably after 9 p.m. On a positive note, however, the staff was very friendly and in no way pressured us to leave. We were able to end the evening in peace. Food & Drinks: The menu offers a wide selection of schnitzels, steaks, and other delicacies – there's truly something for everyone. Our entire table was satisfied: Everything tasted very good, the portions were generous, and the value for money was absolutely fair. We started with a simple but delicious salad, which was a great start. Dogs allowed & beautiful outdoor area: A personal plus for me – dogs are welcome! This meant I could easily bring my dog along. In summer, there's also a beautifully landscaped outdoor area with parasols and partially shaded spots – perfect for warm days. Service & Atmosphere: The staff were consistently friendly and attentive. Drinks were taken at pleasant intervals and everyone checked if everything was okay – never intrusive, but always present. The overall ambiance is a bit older, but still cozy. If you're not expecting modern furnishings or extravagant design, you'll feel completely at home here. At the end of the meal, there was the traditional schnapps – a lovely touch. Conclusion: For me, Haus Wiemer is a reliable address for good food in a relaxed atmosphere. I enjoy coming here again and again – both with friends and with my dog.

We were a group of 7 people. After a short while we were asked for drinks and given the menu. The drinks came after a while. And we were able to place our food order immediately. We waited quite a long time for this. But after 1 hour we got a soup that wasn't actually part of the dish. That was very simple. But quite ok. Then the salad came straight away. Pretty tasteless just like the dollop of dressing. My main course was the rump steak medium with Café de Paris and bacon beans. The steak was phenomenally tasty. Cooked to perfection. The sauce was very over-seasoned, but since the beans didn't taste like anything and the whole 3 bacon cubes were pretty colorless (without roasting), they were easy to eat together. After 1 1/2 hours we had our main course. Many people who came after us left before us. That was pretty frustrating. The conclusion was still quite good, as the service was very nice and the main course was delicious. The price for food and drinks is €31.25 per person. very cheap these days.

We were very happy with the food, it was more than enough. The service was good, but it took quite a long time for service to arrive at our table. But in defense, it was a Friday evening and quite crowded. Ambiance is appropriate.

The two of us ate there on Friday (reserving a table in advance is recommended). A nice atmosphere, friendly and courteous service. And the food was excellent (Argentinian skewer/Z-skewer). A big thank you again. If we're in the area again, we'll come back.

We had lunch today with 6 adults and 2 children. We can only thank you. The food was cooked to perfection and perfectly presented. The staff was very attentive and unobtrusive. Even the little ones were taken care of; a few crayons and paper were quickly found to ensure a pleasant gathering. What I particularly like, however, is that other guests were allowed to bring their dogs. For that, the 6th star, which cannot be awarded. Food and Drinks The selection on the menu was more than plentiful, and the prices were completely reasonable. If you're looking for a quiet restaurant, this is the place to be and you can also enjoy the food. We thank you for the wonderful visit.

Wir waren gestern, an Sylvester zum Abendessen, hier und wir waren rundum begeistert. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr schnell. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, reichlich und hat uns gut geschmeckt. Letztendlich war der Preis angemessen, so das wir rundum zufrieden waren und das Restaurant gerne nochmal besuchen werden.

The food was perfect! The staff was super friendly! Every individual request was fulfilled. We ordered a meal for 6 people to take away, had to wait a bit upon arrival, were treated to a free pilsner and schnapps, were also given a good red wine, and were presented with an incredibly delicious meal in a transportable crate and enjoyed it at home. What more could you want?

So, the quality has declined and prices have risen. Still, the store is usually full. Bottled sauces from the discount store are placed on the table... well, we won't be back.

The Balkan platter for two people is highly recommended.

We sat near the restrooms, and the stench was almost unbearable. It's not very appetizing when it smells like feces. There was little hollandaise sauce on the vegetables, and we weren't even asked for more drinks despite our empty glasses.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Wiemer restaurant in Hamm, and I am more than satisfied! The food was simply outstanding – perfectly flavorful and plentiful. You can tell that the food is cooked with great attention to detail. The service was also very friendly and attentive, making you feel completely at home. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent value for money, which is something you can't take for granted these days. I'm looking forward to returning soon and can highly recommend this restaurant. The food was miserable, and it took forever to till we got it. I also ordered a garlic sauce witch was 99% garlic and 1% sauce. The fries where okay but not worth more than one Star. Im very disapointed. I mean the service was okay but other than that its not worth the money

What particularly impressed us at the Haus Wiemer restaurant was the good quality and excellent taste of the food. The chateaubriand and pepper steak Madagascar were outstanding. The service was attentive, friendly and quick – an all-round successful visit.

Went to the Maximare thermal baths in Hamm and were looking for a suitable restaurant in the evening to end the day properly. We then spontaneously found what we were looking for in this restaurant, even without a reservation. The restaurant was more than busy on a Tuesday in the middle of the week, which confirmed our decision. The food was freshly prepared and was really tasty. The prices were normal. We were very satisfied and we were all full. However, the furnishings are really very old and cannot be described as "rustic". Therefore, there are unfortunately some deductions when it comes to ambience. Otherwise everything was to our complete satisfaction.

Our navigation system suggested Haus Wiemer. Very good food and good menu as well as friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Our first visit was also our last!!!! We ordered food for 30 euros each. The staff is rude and not professional. We waited over an hour for our food, which was unreasonable in my opinion. The three meals came at different times, the fries were 3rd choice and as mayo a bottle of really good and cheap food was put on the table. So for now...Never again!!! I never would have thought that

The restaurant is worth a visit. The food is very tasty. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. The table decorations and the restaurant itself could be made a little more modern, but overall it's perfectly fine. One negative point, however, was that when you asked for mayonnaise, you were given a tube of good and cheap mayonnaise on the table. Who knows how many hands this tube has already passed through. That would actually be two stars deducted...

The hut is really smelly, we can only recommend it for the price-performance ratio and the food. Cozy evening.

The restaurant actually has good potential, but it urgently needs to be modernized or renovated, especially in the interior. The seats are definitely too narrow, so I quickly get the impression that they are focusing more on quantity than on comfort and a pleasant stay. The tables and chairs are just way too close together for my taste. I liked the food, my mother didn't like it. Outside the beer garden is fine and dandy. But as I said, in my personal opinion the interior urgently needs to be modernized and, above all, more space created for the guests.

4 people: Waiting time 53 minutes and there were 4 guests inside and around 17 outside, half of whom were already eating. Two dishes delivered, two about 10 minutes later. The mayonnaise I ordered with the fries...😂😂, see picture. Two stars because the food was OK, service...who walks past empty salad plates 17 times...👎. Tables not suitable for 4 people, too narrow. But if that's enough for you...at least not for me. First and last visit.

So normally it doesn't deserve any stars. You call early enough to make a reservation for Christmas and then it only says up to 7 people because there are no larger tables. When asked if you can put two people together (since there are 13 of us) they cheekily said no and hung up! Very rude because you could have said it in a friendly way and maybe found a solution, like other restaurants do. But apparently everything is already reserved for 2 years in advance.

1130 and already packed. Midday calls and many come. 12.90 including soup and dessert is really great. Quality good.

A favorite restaurant for me and us, whoever is there with me! Insanely delicious steaks and schnitzels and really nice service! The spinach with garlic is also a highlight! There is a great, medium-sized beer garden outside, which is also covered when it's hot. I like eating there!

The garlic steak is my absolute favorite and I can highly recommend it! The other dishes are also very tasty and fresh. Service top! Unfortunately there is no Krombacher!

Quaint restaurant in the outskirts of hamm. It didn't change the last 30 years, which some might think is a good thing. Classic german / Balkan steak house is reasonably priced but high for the city low standards. We were a large group, and everything was tasty while I would say the steak cuts were of medium to good quality but not quite excellent. Vegetarian options are not existent besides a salad and the order of beilagen. Overall, it was a great experience. Service was lovely. The beer was fresh and crisp beautifully served. Given that the restaurant is where it is, I think it's a one-time experience if you can make it out of the city.

There's a lot of catching up to do...you had to wait a long time to eat despite there being little activity. Ambience is getting old. For such a highly acclaimed restaurant you have to offer more. Sorry...that's just my impression. It is only meant positively. LG

Yesterday we were guests at the Wiemer house. We sat in the beautiful beer garden and felt very comfortable. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating and quite quick, even though the house was very busy. We also really enjoyed the food. I had the Argentinian skewer, which was also a feast for the eyes, very nicely prepared. The meat was just great, very tender and tasty. The side dishes were also delicious. Everything was great all around. Thumbs up!!!

This was our second time there on a public holiday and this time we weren't so happy. It started with the salad for the starter, where there was a hair in the food. We addressed this directly and complained, but it still doesn't work. In addition, there was a very long wait to eat, which wasn't a problem in itself, but you noticed that the service was completely overwhelmed and couldn't keep up because take-away was also being sold. For the main course, the fries were totally over-salted and the schnitzel felt like it was fried to death and was way too dry. All in all we were not satisfied, both with the service and with the food. Definitely in need of improvement.

Spontaneously got a table here. We really wanted to eat asparagus. And the restaurant is also open before 5 p.m. on Sundays. And it was the right decision. Very large, thick asparagus and just the way I like it. I can highly recommend it

We have been eating at this restaurant occasionally for years. The plates are properly filled so that everyone here can go home feeling full. You can also sit outside very well. The food tastes good and even special requests are fulfilled. We always enjoy coming back.
