From a culinary point of view it wasn't great... diaper bags, gummy bears and foam kisses for dessert 😅 what's Chinese about that??? In addition, 4 out of 4 people feel like shit all day today in the truest sense of the word! We definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend it! Paid €33.90 per person - totally excessive!

The prices are questionable. Four of us were there for lunch and ordered the lunch buffet. I expressly pointed out that we would like to take the buffet and order the drinks individually. However, 4x €22.90 were charged on the bill, which corresponds to the buffet including drinks. However, we actually only consumed one bottle of water. This results in a difference of €25, which was charged exclusively for drinks (1 bottle of water). We had clearly stated that we would like to order the drinks individually as needed. When we asked, we were simply told that you could drink as much as you wanted.

The restaurant is very nicely decorated and it is cozy. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing you can say. Unfortunately, the boss is very unfriendly, impolite and greedy. The staff is totally understaffed, overwhelmed and barely understands any German, which made us kind of sorry. We were asked to leave the restaurant after 2 hours unless we paid a total of 300 euros extra for our 13-person table. In addition, with the bill of 537 euros, the boss wanted to make us know that the Swiss franc was 1 to 1 with the euro and asked us for 537 Chf, which was a complete impudence. That was our first and last visit to this restaurant!!

Our visit to the restaurant was disappointing. Despite the reservation, the staff didn't know anything about it. The boss looked at us with evil eyes and asked in a condescending tone whether we even had a reservation. Instead of the promised three hours, we only had two hours for the buffet. Drinks: Our order of beer, cocktails and tea was ignored for a long time. Food: The selection of food is far too small for so many guests. The beef was tough and many dishes were out of stock and not refilled. The quality of the food was disappointing. Local: The tight seating resulted in a loud atmosphere. Toilet: Children were playing in the anteroom, which was disturbing. Pay: We had to pay at the entrance, which narrowed the passage. In addition, Swiss francs were accepted one-for-one, which was outrageous. Overall the experience was disappointing. We cannot recommend the restaurant and only give it one star, even that is too much.

The ambience was very nice. But it was very, very busy and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed with the mass processing. This is the only way to explain the low prices. We sat at our place for a long time and no one came to take the drink order. We finally spoke to a waitress who could hardly speak any German. She simply pointed in the direction of a drinks shelf that we were obviously supposed to help ourselves to. I found that a little disgusting when I saw that there were opened Coke and Fanta bottles in there. So we addressed the next operation. Although she spoke German very poorly, she tried very hard. She took our drink order and wiped our table again, which still showed traces of drinks from our predecessors. The food was quite good and there was enough choice. You couldn't pay at the table, but that's not a bad thing. All in all, I can only give our visit three stars because the service left a lot to be desired. Our plates from the buffet were cleared once or twice. We had to pile up piles to even have room on the table. Service doesn't seem to be very important here. Clearly this restaurant simply lacks staff. Very unfortunate. When we walked around the restaurant after leaving it because we wanted to go to the adjacent park, we saw tons of cardboard garbage piled up behind the restaurant. If I had had to sit at the window with the view, I would have really thanked you. The price and the food would make it worth coming back again. But not the staff (except the nice young woman who looked after us). Oh yes, the chocolate sauce for the ice cream had been expired for two months. It should be replaced with a new one.

Smaller selection of dishes than in other restaurants but perfectly prepared. I am a fan of the Tepanyaki grill and was thrilled. Everything was as tender as butter, which unfortunately isn't always the case in other restaurants. The sushi selection was finally something different than the standard maki's or nigiri. It was the first but definitely not the last time there.

Wir hatten zum Mittagessen Hühnerfleisch M11 mit gelber Currysauce und Ente süß sauer mit Ananas M6 inclusive Frühlingsrollen bestellt. Nach ca 20 Minuten kamen die Hauptgänge danach nach Anfrage die kalten Frühlingsrollen ohne Sauce. Nach weiterer Nachfrage erhielten wir einen Teller ohne Besteck und schließlich nach weiterer Frage die Sauce, Reis und Beilagenbesteck. Das Hühnerfleisch war lauwarm aber ok. Die fette Ente kam ohne Ananas, jedoch mit Paprika, Zwiebeln, Karotten und Bambus. Auf Anfrage erhielten wir die Antwort, der Koch macht das nicht mit Ananas. Beim Buffetessen gab es frische Ananas. Wir haben noch nie so schlechte Ente weltweit gegessen. Das wenige Fleisch war hart und fett. Ein Stern ist einer zu viel. Sie wollen nur Buffetesser, bieten aber MIttagsmenus an. Service war auch schlecht. Nie wieder Ginza!!!!! Ich war früher oft dort.

For lunch we ordered chicken M11 with yellow curry sauce and sweet and sour duck with pineapple M6 including spring rolls. After about 20 minutes the main courses arrived, followed by the cold spring rolls without sauce upon request. After further questioning we received a plate without cutlery and finally after further questioning the sauce, rice and side cutlery. The chicken was lukewarm but ok. The fatty duck came without pineapple, but with peppers, onions, carrots and bamboo. When we asked, we were told that the chef doesn't do that with pineapple. There was fresh pineapple at the buffet meal. We have never eaten such bad duck anywhere in the world. What little meat there was was hard and fatty. One star is one too many. They only want buffet eaters, but offer lunch menus. Service was also bad. Never again Ginza!!!!!

I was there for the first time. By recommendation. This type of restaurant is not for me personally. At an all-you-can-eat buffet, I don't want to get the drinks myself. It took forever until a waiter finally got me to the right station for tea and I had to make it myself!!! The price is too high for that. The food was average and the selection was good. It was very bright and had a rather cold interior.

First of all, I would like to say that I have been to this restaurant quite often from time to time, and I wasn't always completely satisfied with everything, but I wasn't dissatisfied either. On the evening of November 30th, 2024, this changed suddenly... Clearly, Saturday evening, there will be a lot going on and there will be a certain level of noise, everyone should understand that and it certainly wasn't a problem for me. The first thing I and my wife noticed negatively was the open door despite +3°C, which was most likely open because the restaurant was in a cloud of smoke. The buffet had no light, which unfortunately we didn't worry about. The next point was the children "playing" in the toilet area which was not too far from the assigned seat. Children are louder, no problem. However, it was far from being a game and the fact that the door didn't give way was a miracle in my opinion. The waiter "boss", owner or whoever was in charge there didn't seem to mind at all after clarifying the situation because it wasn't his problem. I also discovered that the teppanyaki grill (which is widely advertised) doesn't work because there was a problem with the electrical system, which also explained the broken light at the buffet. If you're lucky, the food will still be lukewarm when it arrives at the table. Mistakes or something like that can happen, but not informing a single customer about them is not possible. The guest puts the raw meat for the teppanyaki grill on their own plate and then places it in front of the grill. Since the grill was broken, some plates with raw meat were left in the heat for a good hour, which means I don't have to do that to anyone tell. Since I was tired of waiting forever for my food in an all-you-can-eat buffet, I decided to talk to the person in charge who offered me a price in advance, no problem, I also ate a little , but full price would be extortionate. However, he forgot this suggestion within 10 minutes and decided to charge me almost €70 for 2 people... For a lukewarm buffet and a broken grill. After a lot of back and forth, he relieved my wife of €50 because she gave in and didn't want to have a discussion. To wrap this all up here. Rarely have I seen such an unprofessional bunch of "staff" who can't even inform the guest or accommodate them if they can't get anything done. Kind regards Simon Vetterlin

We were a whole group and it was only possible for everyone to take the buffet with or buffet without drinks. Actually, I and a few others just wanted to eat a little something and have a non-alcoholic drink, but then had to pay for the full program. It was only after almost half an hour that someone came to explain to us that we had to fill our glasses ourselves and the clearing service was also not reliable. I haven't found any information about allergens. I find the prices quite high for self-service, even if you eat plenty. The robot that distributes the separately grilled plates no longer impresses me. I didn't use this service and paid around 33 euros. I also didn't find the atmosphere pleasant, even though the entrance was very nicely designed. Although we would have liked to have a chat, we had to hurry to leave because after 3 hours there would have been a surcharge. The restaurant was almost empty.

All you can eat, very low quality. *Edit* after Google flagged this review to be sent to the German lawyers for "defamation". Full of flies in the display where the food was stored at the buffet. The colour of the sushi appeared dull even if food colouring was certainly used. We were just too hungry to go somewhere else but never ever returned. We focused on cooked options but still had stomach problems upon returning home.

Ginza Restaurant offers an outstanding dining experience! The food was absolutely first class – fresh, quality ingredients, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight. The excellent price-performance ratio is particularly positive. For the quality on offer here, the prices are more than reasonable. The service was also extremely friendly and accommodating, which further enriched the visit. If you're looking for a great restaurant, definitely try Ginza - I'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is completely overrated and incomprehensibly gets a 4.0 overall rating. First of all, the restaurant is very stuffy and there is hardly any ventilation. Afterwards, the tables are still greasy and hardly invite you to have a cozy dinner. There were probably some staff, but they were hard to recognize because they were walking around in trainer pants and leggings. They didn't know German either. We were only able to identify two people who were Asian based on their clothing; all the others came from the Eastern Bloc. Not a problem per se, but they probably felt out of place themselves. The food was actually a little below average. Anyone can deep fry, but the buffet was not very inviting. It didn't look hygienic either. The meat dishes were also hardly labeled, so you didn't know what you were eating. The “grill master” served the food incorrectly twice, so that almost everyone had to hand over their plates again. Instead of saving on staff, you should invest there. So if you want to eat below average at an Asian restaurant where hardly any Asians work, then go ahead.

They recently had 2 cute robots as their serving daughter. 🤗 What I don't like is that when you order there are 2 prices for the buffet, 1x a price without a drink, and 1x a price with a drink, including the drink, you have to get the bottle yourself and then you can't take the bottle with you If you don't finish the liter bottle, the next guest will get it and they will then pay for the drink. 🤔

I assume that there has been a change of ownership, there are only new service staff and I enjoyed coming here for years! But since the change I've been there 4 times, a pure disaster, Chef de Service or whatever he's supposed to be, unfriendly and condescending! On the last visit there was no service at the table, we waited for 15 minutes and then left again even though there was almost nothing going on! Disastrous visit! The cluttered, neglected ashtray at the entrance should have warned us. The drinks were a joke: warm, non-carbonated beer, stale cola and Fanta. It felt like the drinks were leftovers from other guests. The food? Just disgusting. Sushi with gristle and overall poor quality. Our little daughter had to vomit outside the restaurant after eating. An unbearable experience that we cannot recommend to anyone. When we complained about the situation, the waiter offered us a free coffee, but we politely declined. The current positive reviews are a joke - that can't be possible. The employees probably wrote these themselves. We'll definitely never come back - that was the lowest point.

Food OK, nothing special but tasty. Portions could be a bit larger, especially for the pasta dishes. The service could still be improved. During the week there are both lunch menus and an "all you can eat" buffet. There is also an “all you can eat & drink” buffet, which is of course more expensive. The staff seems to be geared towards promoting this "all you can eat & drink" buffet. If, like us, you opt for the cheaper lunch menu from the menu, you no longer seem to be very welcome. At least that's how it seemed to me. Conclusion: If you want a quick, tasty meal at a reasonable price without anything nice around it, it's all fine. You are also treated kindly. However, if you want it to be cozy and warm with a nice atmosphere, it might be better to look for another place.

You come to the location with expectations because the Google reviews are very positive, but for the price on Sunday of €33.90 you will be very disappointed. The food and the quality of the food are anything but good! You have a large selection but unfortunately the taste is very disappointing. The only advantage is that the drinks are included, whether beer, wine or soft drinks as much as you want. For my part, I ate here once and will never come back. Apart from the not-so-tasty food, the staff isn't really friendly, they seem annoyed and clear the plates very slowly. Out of the 5 stars I can only give it two stars.

I recently went to Ginza Restaurant, an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet, and it was a really cool experience! First of all, the selection was huge. Whether you're in the mood for sushi, spring rolls or fried noodles - it's all here. The quality of the food was also top. The crispy duck in particular was a highlight for me. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and quite modern, which I thought was really cool. The staff was also super friendly and cleared the plates quickly so that we always had room for the next course. What I also thought was great was the price-performance ratio. Getting so much and such good food for the price is really amazing. I will definitely go again, especially because it's fun to try everything possible. So if you're looking for a relaxed place to have a delicious meal with friends or family, I can really recommend Ginza!

Prices have risen sharply. Drinks flat rate (€7/p.p.) is only worthwhile for the operator. Drinks mainly from Lidl/Kaufland (own brand). Service was ok. Taste, food selection and ambience has deteriorated significantly. The meat counter felt empty and the dessert counter consisted exclusively of frozen cakes, fruit and ice cream.

Such a shame! Went to Ginza again after a long time and were really looking forward to it. Apparently there has been a change of operator. Unfortunately, the quality and selection of the buffet no longer corresponded to what we were used to from our previous visits. Some of the food was cold or only lukewarm. The taste also didn't match the previous quality. Service was practically non-existent. The atmosphere is very reminiscent of a factory canteen on the lower level. In return, prices have increased significantly. After this experience we will, to our regret, no longer visit the restaurant in the future. Such a shame.

I've been there again for a long time and was very disappointed, it used to be a very good restaurant in the region but now I found it too expensive and very unclean. Especially at the counter. Ok, that can happen, but to be honest, the boss wasn't interested in it. I think it's worse than just 3 tongs for 10 bowls of meat, some of which I'm also supposed to use for fish. Total risk of salmonella. We've really decided to stay away for now and there's still room for improvement. Price performance ratio one minus performance. For 7 adults together, having to pay almost 240 euros for inferior quality is quite severe Plus point, the ambience was really nice, that's why we actually hoped for more because there's actually potential there.

The Ginza restaurant and other Chinese restaurants in Baden-Württemberg are popular with the public because they offer a large selection of dishes and every time I visit the restaurant it is always almost full. Ginza Restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants. Eating there once a day would be enough for the whole day without having to think about eating. The staff are all nice and not pushy, they just get the job done. The Chinese man who works there is very respectful. The food isn't too expensive. On Friday evening we reserved a table for 7 people at 8 p.m. The restaurant was 3/4 empty, which really surprised us. The food was good so far, but unfortunately the buffet wasn't really replenished. The service was a disaster and the plates were never cleared. We saw 1 server for the entire restaurant. 4 out of 7 guests didn't know Ginza and probably won't go there again. I ate my way through the evening buffet once. There is a lunch buffet and an evening buffet. Evenings are richer. New operator who has renovated the entire restaurant and the facilities.
