Restaurant FreCla in Stuttgart

Hab das Restaurant erst vor ca. 1 Monat entdeckt. Bis jetzt war es jedes Mal sehr Lecker. Vor allem der FreCla Teller mein absolutes Highlight. Freuen uns schon auf die anderen Spießen die wir dort Testen werden. Viele Grüße und bis bald.

Leider ist die Qualität nicht gleich bleiben gut. Es war mal richtig gut und das zuverlässig. Seit Kochwechsel kann man sich nicht mehr darauf verlassen. Grenzwertig! Essen war lauwarm, ohne jeglichen Pep und Würze. Kartoffelsalat konnte ich nicht als solchen identifizieren.sehr schade!

„Vorsicht bei Fre Cla. Wir haben dort letztes Jahr die Küchenabluftanlage gereinigt. Die Arbeit wurde vollständig erledigt, die Rechnung jedoch bis heute nicht bezahlt. Zusätzlich war unser Eindruck vom allgemeinen Zustand der Küche alles andere als professionell und hygienisch überzeugend. Auf Nachfragen zur offenen Rechnung reagiert man entweder gar nicht oder nur mit Ausreden. Für Dienstleister absolut keine angenehme Zusammenarbeit.“

Wir waren nun schon öfters im Frecla. Absolut zu empfehlen. Essen immer gut, egal was, Service freundlich, Ambiente auch völlig in Ordnung . Ich kann es definitiv weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Waren heute zur Konformation eingeladen. Mittagessen und Kaffee Kuchen im FreCla. Sehr gutes Essen, freundliches Personal und heute bei vollem Haus eine hervorragende Leistung der Küche mit diesm sehr guten Essen. Nur zum empfehlen.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit guten Freunden. Das bestellte Essen war schnell am Tisch und frisch zubereitet. Geschmacklich war alles sehr lecker. Das Servicepersonal war aufmerksam, kompetent und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt bald wieder

Speisenauswahl überschaubar und nicht so typisch schwäbisch, wie beworben. Die Speisen, Rostbraten, Schnitzel hätten mehr Geschmack, Würze vertragen können. Der Salat war frisch und gut. Die abgerechneten Preise waren für ein Kleingärtnervereinsheim zu hoch.und entsprachen nicht der Qualität der Essen. Seit unserem letzten Besuch wesentlich höher. Der Besuch am Ostersonntag war vielleicht auch deswegen mehr als überschaubar.

Wir sind spontan auf das Restaurant gekommen und konnten zu acht inklusive 3 Kindern dort speisen. Für alle war was dabei. Die Qualität des Essens war hervorragend. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, überragender Service und der Kleinste (3) hat sich in die selbst gemachten Spätzle verliebt und beim Essen immer wieder vergnüglich gesummt. Vielen Dank für den zauberhaften Abend bei Ihnen.

Sehr Leckeres Essen hatte das Kalbsschnitzel kann ich weiterempfehlen. Salat ist Frisch, ist nicht zu viel, passend als eine Wirkliche Vorspeise. Zum Nachtisch hatte ich das Schoko Soufflee leider nicht warm gewesen, aber trotzdem sehr lecker und geschmacklich sehr schokoladig. Summasumarum kann man den Laden weiterempfehlen der Service war auch sehr nett.

Tolle Atmosphäre, mäßig besucht. Das Essen war hervorragend und sehr schmackhaft. Die Bedienung war super, witzig und nahm uns sogar einen Lacher ab, während wir uns mit unseren wenigen Deutschkenntnissen etwas unbeholfen durch die Bestellung quälten.

Wir machten im Hotel Achat eine Pause auf unserer langen Fahrt von Österreich nach Großbritannien. Dabei entdeckten wir dieses entzückende Restaurant, das von Deutschen geführt wird und köstliche, authentische deutsche Küche serviert. Die Schnitzel waren fantastisch, absolut empfehlenswert! Die Atmosphäre war wunderbar und wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen.

Was für ein Glücksgriff! Ein tolles Restaurant in der Nähe des Porsche-Museums in Stuttgart. Nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, und es gibt typisch deutsche Hausmannskost. Das Personal ist freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert! 😃👌

Gestern haben wir hier einen Leichenschmaus gehalten; Dekoration hatten wir teils selber mitgebracht, das Personal des FreClas hat es aber mit Liebe gestaltet und den Raum vorbereitet. Auch das Essen war sehr gut; wir hatten uns für simple Hausmannskost mit Fleischküchle und Maultaschen entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir waren zwar zu einem traurigen Anlass dort, aber haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Kann dieses Restaurant wirklich jedem für Familienfeiern etc ans Herz legen!

Kommen nun seit einigen Jahren immer wieder gerne ins FreCla. Sehr leckere deutsche/schwäbische Küche. Insbesondere die Schnitzel sind hervorragend. Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant bietet eine unkomplizierte, lockere Atmosphäre. Außenbereich ist bei guten Wetter sehr zu empfehlen.

Kleine Gaststube eines Vereinsheims für Gartenfreunde. Mit Liebe eingerichtet und sehr leckerer Flammkuchen mit dünnem Boden. Der Service war top, nicht zu aufdringlich aber sehr zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder!

Super leckeres Essen und sehr toller Service!!!

Wir haben im Junior bei FreCla unsere Hochzeit gefeiert, waren absolut begeistert und wirklich rundum zufrieden! Die Räumlichkeiten sind für maximal 80 Personen ausreichend (besser für 70 Personen) mit einem schönen Außenbereich. Das Team von FreCla und vor allem die Chefin und die Köchin haben alles für uns möglich gemacht und sind auf jeden unserer Wünsche eingegangen! An der Hochzeit selbst war ein super freundliches und fleißiges Servicepersonal für uns da. Alle unsere Gäste haben in den höchsten Tönen vom Personal und der Lokation gesprochen und ein großes Lob ausgesprochen. Das Essen war fantastisch! Bei Elke (der Köchin) schmeckt man, dass ihr das Kochen spaß macht und dass sie viel Liebe in die Arbeit steckt! Wir gehen auch zum Mittag- oder Abendessen ins FreCla und müssen zugeben, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis optimal ist und es nur wenige andere Gaststätten in der Nähe gibt, die da mithalten können. Auch der Preis an unserer Hochzeit war unschlagbar und wir können es mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen, da wir hier nicht für den Begriff 'Hochzeit' drauf zahlen mussten.

Weihnachtsessen nach der Arbeit Essen war sehr gut, leider zu lange gewartet, das kann etwas verbessert werden. Location war gemütlich gut. Service war leider bei der bestellaufnahme sehr unprofessionell , habe ich so noch nie erlebt, gäste bzw Kollegen zu beschuldigen man würde sich über Sie lustig machen. Vielleicht sollte man die Berufswahl in diesem Fall nochmal überdenken. Nur Aufgrund des Essens würde ich es absolut weiterempfehlen.

Leider war unser Besuch beim Weihnachtsdinner alles andere als angenehm. Wir waren sieben Personen und bekamen einen winzigen Tisch, der maximal für vier Leute ausgelegt war – entsprechend eng und unkomfortabel. Die Stimmung im Restaurant war sehr laut, sodass man sich kaum verständigen konnte. Beim Bestellen kam es dann zu einer völlig unverständlichen Situation: Die Kellnerin reagierte äußerst unprofessionell, warf mir plötzlich respektloses Verhalten vor und beschuldigte mich, mich über sie lustig gemacht zu haben – was absolut nicht der Fall war. Alle am Tisch waren fassungslos, da niemand auch nur ansatzweise etwas Derartiges gehört oder bemerkt hatte. Zusätzlich war die Vorspeisensuppe eines Kollegen kalt, und das Hauptgericht ließ fast eine Stunde auf sich warten. Positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass das Essen geschmacklich in Ordnung war und eine zweite Bedienung später deutlich freundlicher auftrat. Insgesamt jedoch ein sehr unangenehmer Abend, den ich in dieser Form nicht weiterempfehlen kann. ⭐☆☆☆☆

Wir waren angesichts einer Familienfeier heute zum 1. Mal da. Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam Essen dagegen eher unspektakulär; Suppe für mich geschmacklich gut, etwas zu dickflüssig, aber mit der Ingwernote gut abgeschmeckt. Soße fehlte Salz und das gewisse Etwas, Spätzle dagegen Top, Zwiebelrostbraten konnte geschmacklich nicht überzeugen. Portionen dafür reichlich. Da hätte man gerade für die Kinder kleinere Portionen anbieten können. Kinderfreundlich, schöne Aussicht Kann ich leider nicht weiter empfehlen bezüglich Essen.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und ein sehr gutes Essen. Die Location war warm und einladend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und höflich.

We had to wait 50 minutes for our food! 50! The food was delicious. It's a big room, and the conversations of other people at other tables are very loud because everyone is so close together.

Very good Swabian cuisine, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The location is lovely, and the service is attentive and friendly.

Modest location with tables inside and outside. Unfortunately, the outside area was full, so they isolated us at a table inside without air conditioning and without the option to open the windows. Friendly staff. But the wait is incredibly long: 30 minutes for water. We sat down at 1:30 PM, and at 2:15 PM, they took our orders. Some people even got up and left because of the long wait. The food was very poor quality and tasteless. Too heavy and spicy.

We were celebrating our birthday. It was a bit difficult to get there by car. Ordering took a while, but rightly so. All the dishes we ordered were freshly prepared. Sausage, schnitzel, and homemade spaetzle, etc. And the schnitzels were pan-fried, not deep-fried. Good value for money. P.S. One more thing: The outdoor area definitely needs an upgrade.

Nice restaurant with good and friendly service. The food was great.

Today it was extremely busy, and even though the waiters were really stressed, everyone was always friendly and accommodating. Without a reservation, we probably wouldn't have gotten a seat inside. But you can also sit outside on the terrace.

I celebrated my milestone birthday there in private. A champagne reception on the beautiful terrace with a fantastic view, followed by dinner inside. The atmosphere was also very pleasant with white tablecloths, excellent Swabian food, and a very friendly restaurant team. Everything went incredibly well; my guests and I were completely happy with the evening. And even if you just go there for dinner, it's always a pleasant break from everyday life in beautiful countryside despite being close to the city, with delicious food, good drinks, and a very friendly and motivated team. Thank you for these wonderful hours.

Nice quiet location on outskirt of city, free cark park. Attentive service, menu is typisch deutsch (schnitzel, maultasche etc), massive portions, well cooked; ~€110 to feed (stuff) and water four people ( had to ask for box to take away about third of the food)

Beautifully located garden restaurant. If the weather is nice, it's worth reserving a table outside. Very attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. Large portions, although the gravy could use a bit more seasoning and flavor, as could the spaetzle. Overall, the food is delicious, with good roast beef; the various schnitzels are highly recommended. The house lemonade is also very good.

If you love Swabian cuisine, this is the place for you. The Maultaschen are a dream: homemade, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. "Maultaschen 4 Life" isn't just a slogan here, it's a motto! The restaurant is clean, as are the restrooms. There's ample parking, which makes the visit relaxing. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I'm from Heidelberg, and the trip was absolutely worth it. FreCla is definitely a must-stop on my next visit to Stuttgart!

14tägig Kegeln von 13-15.00 Uhr. Ich kam um 13.30 Uhr direkt nach meiner Arbeit von 8.30- 13.00 Uhr verspätet zum Kegeln dazu und wollte gerne etwas essen, unten am Tisch der Kegelbahn , da ich sehr hungrig war. Mir wurde gesagt, dass ich dort nicht essen darf, nur oben im Lokal. Auf meine Frage, warum, beim Vorbesitzer war das immer möglich, nur die Aussage, das steht in der Hausregel und da gibt es keine Ausnahme, ich soll mich dran halten. Ende der Diskussion, gab keine. Der Kellner hat dann auf meine Bitte um Verständnis den Chef angerufen und der ließ ausrichten, das ist eine Regel, wenn mir diese nicht passt, könne ich gehen. Als ich um Verständnis bat und ihm sagte, ich hätte bis dato gerne und häufig bei Frecla gegessen, sagte der Kellner nur, er hat keine Zeit und verließ den Raum. Fazit leckeres Essen mit toller Sommerterrasse, Kundenservice lässt mehrmalig zu wünschen übrig. Werde wohl dort nicht mehr zum essen hingehen, meine Konsequenz dazu

A very cozy little café with a delicious breakfast. A fun atmosphere, great decor. There was a bit of a draft, but that was the only thing that bothered me. I'd be happy to come back.

Despite a large group and the warning that the food might take a while, everything came quickly and was excellent. The food was incredibly delicious, and the portions were very generous. We'll definitely be back!!!!!

We have been here several times, in Winter we ordered the food as take away. This place serves really excellent food, fresh and tasty. Mind the portions as they are really large! Good drinks and very good desserts as well. They also serve seasonal food, for instance asparagus. We like the garden better than the inside. I do recommend.

The service was really nice but a bit overwhelmed. The price-performance ratio wasn't right. The food was cold and the starter was completely forgotten and the cooking point was missed.

People like to be gooses in the run-up to Christmas. The goose breast was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The meat on the goose leg fell easily from the bone, which is quite an achievement. The bread and potato dumplings were delicious. The red cabbage was finely tuned. The chestnuts rounded off the dish. The Wienerschnitzel with fries were very tasty. The fries were nice and crispy and well seasoned. The drinks prices are fair for aperitifs, soft drinks, beer and espresso. There is free parking in front of FreCla. Reservations are recommended. We'd love to come back.

The food is excellent, the portions are generous and the atmosphere is quite nice. Unfortunately there is a deduction for the service because we had to wait a really long time for our food and the dishes were brought to the table with a long delay. After a clarifying conversation, the nice ladies from the service apologized and assured that things don't normally work that way. We will be happy to test this in due course, because everything worked fine apart from the very long waiting time.

Food is very good, everything is made fresh, good quality, friendly, but you have to wait a little longer until the food comes because everything is fresh. The price is okay. Service friendly. Nothing to complain about.

Wow! Had to walk about 1.5 miles to get to the restaurant from our hotel. The walk was well worth it. A beautiful trail through an equine center led to a very quaint room with good ambiance and great food. Had the chicken breast and fried veg. Plentiful and delicious! The side salad had a trifecta of flavours. Tossed green, potato and coleslaw all in one delightful dish. My wife had the pan fried perch and veggies and cleaned up her plate, a rarity that speaks to the great taste of the meal. Highly recommended. Now for the walk home to burn some of this goodness off!!

I had the pleasure of dining at the FreCla restaurant and can only report positive things. The food was really outstanding. I was particularly impressed by the side salad – lovingly prepared and extremely varied. The Wienerschnitzel were simply a dream and exceeded all expectations. The portions were generous so it really filled you up and the sauces were also very tasty. The service was another highlight of my visit. Two very nice women looked after us and their kindness made the visit even more enjoyable. In summary, I can say that as soon as I am back in Stuttgart, I will definitely plan another visit to FreCla. Absolutely recommended!

A farm restaurant near Stuttgart. The dishes are not the common German pork knuckles and sausages in tourist areas. The four of us ordered 3 dishes to share, and they all tasted delicious.

Our most recent discovery, probably still an insider tip! Super-friendly service, very good cuisine (mMn the best French fries in Stuttgart, thin, crispy and dusted with a pinch of paprika powder) and a beautiful ambience in the countryside on the edge of an allotment garden colony. Here you can relax perfectly even in the big city.

Very nice places with a magnificent view. Not far from the Porsche museum which we visited afterwards. In this restaurant, only locals eat there, a guarantee of quality and authenticity. The waitress did not speak French, but a little English, there was no difficulty in communicating, she was very nice. Prices are fair and the food is good.

A restaurant that deserves to be known! Not easy to find, but it’s really delicious. The dishes are copious. The staff is pleasant and smiling! If we come back to Germany we will definitely go back!!

Super delicious!!! We were in Stuttgart at the Porsche Museum and were looking for a restaurant nearby. Since I have Swabian roots, we wanted to go to a restaurant with Swabian cuisine. Our expectations were more than exceeded. Price performance top. Great starter salad for 6.50 euros. Homemade potato salad… where else can you get that? The homemade bread dumplings with chanterelle cream were also a poem. Fried potato pan with bacon, onions and fried eggs are also highly recommended. The homemade lemonade was also delicious. Very friendly service :-) If we are in Stuttgart again we will definitely come back. Very idyllic beer garden.

We ended up at FreCla on our short trip through Stuttgart and can only agree with the good reviews! Apart from the idyllic location and the nice service (which wasn't perfect but was very friendly, tried hard and therefore great), the food was really great! Swabian cuisine, everything cooked in-house, a very tasty salad as a starter and a great dessert - if we could we would come back! Thank you for this wonderful visit!

Delicious cheese spaetzle served in a cast iron pan, delicious crust on the bottom and lots of onions. The side salad that came with it was also very tasty. The portions are large and the outdoor area is cozy and beautiful.

We went here on a beautiful Sunday. The location is great with a view of the Greutterwald and surrounded by fields and hiking trails. FreCla doesn't just look like a normal Swabian club restaurant, it is one. The prices are on the higher side, so you can easily spend over 20 euros per person. The staff is friendly and professional. It is also child-friendly here. A children's chair attachment for the chairs is available upon request. The dishes are acceptable, but nothing more. We had lentils with string sausages and spaetzle as well as a Wiener schnitzel with spaetzle and gravy. The lentils were bland, the sausages were ok and the spaetzle was acceptable. The schnitzels were crispy and well fried, only the breading tasted too much like breadcrumbs. The gravy had a strong red wine flavor, but it didn't taste like much else. You can do it if you're nearby. I wouldn't drive here specifically for that.

Thank you for the lovely evening yesterday!!! A super tasty and filling meal with a really great salad! There is also something for vegetarians on the extensive menu! Everyone was really happy!! You can sit on the terrace in the countryside with a wonderful view of the Tachenberg and up to the Schillerhöhe in Gerlingen. Real recommendation to the nice cook and the team!!!

This is a small restaurant in the countryside with a beer garden. The food was very good for a restaurant and the service was friendly and attentive. On one side there is a small playground, around the corner is a riding stable with beautiful horses
