We had very nice service, the atmosphere is nice and modern. There were vegan options, even oat milk for the coffee. The food tasted very good. Totally recommended. We didn't know beforehand that the restaurant was in a retirement home, but that wasn't a problem.

We went to Franz for Sunday brunch, nothing was missing. The service staff and the boss were very nice and always present. A successful start and highly recommended.

We had reserved several holiday breakfasts. Service: I am very disappointed with the service. Unfortunately a glass broke. Unfortunately I was given two rags to wipe it off myself. Unfortunately, shards were scattered everywhere. After several requests, I was also given napkins to dry the floor and table, as the rags were dripping with juice... Unfortunately they didn't ask about cuts either... Unfortunately, during the course of the visit we were not asked whether we would like any more drinks... Last but not least, after asking several times, we had to wait 20 minutes for service to pay. I had to ask twice if someone could come and collect. Unfortunately we discovered that the service had added the small sausage plate and the drink, which was covered in shards and juice, to the bill. Eat: We had booked the big holiday dinner. There was plenty of sausage, cheese, fruit and confiture, Nutella. Unfortunately, the amount of the small baked rolls was very small, so there was a lot left over. It was described on the menu that there was a glass of sparkling wine and a glass of orange juice. Unfortunately the glasses were filled differently. Some champagne glasses were filled 1/4 full with orange juice or champagne, some were actually filled even less... The yoghurts specified were not made available to every guest, which I found very unfortunate. Unfortunately, I will not visit Restaurant Franz again after this incident and unfortunately I cannot recommend it to anyone else.

I'm very disappointed! During our visit today we had booked a small celebration with breakfast. Right at the beginning a glass broke and broke into small pieces. The shards were then placed on a small sausage platter and the orange juice ran down the table. When we told the waitress, she simply gave us a cloth to clean with. We then had to put away the orange juice and the shards ourselves. Where is the service??? We then got a new glass and a new small sausage platter. In between, no one asked us if we wanted something to drink. When we wanted to pay, the waitress charged us for the new sausage plate and the new glass. When we asked why we had to pay for it, the waitress said that the old sausage platter with broken pieces could no longer be used and had to be thrown away. We couldn't use it anymore because it was full of broken pieces. I thought it was pretty cheeky of the waitress to charge for the new glass and plate. In general, the service didn't seem likeable. Because of today's experience I will definitely not be coming back!!!!

Very BAD service!!!! There wasn't even a proper hello said. When a champagne glass accidentally tipped over and broke. We didn't even look or ask if anyone had hurt themselves, they only gave us wet rags and we had to wipe everything up ourselves. (We also had to ask for dry towels ourselves). Since shards fell into a plate of sausage, we asked if we wanted another one. The overturned glass was replaced without any questions. In the end they wanted to PAY ADDITIONALLY for the overturned glass (even though we didn't say we wanted a new one) and the mini plate of selection (4 slices of sausage), none of which was eaten. During our stay no one came to ask if we wanted anything else. The rolls were too few for the number of people, they were soon empty and no offer was made to bring new ones. (We had to ask ourselves again. To be fair the ambience is nice. The food was okay, but it didn't look fresh (fruit was a bit dry) (salmon was lukewarm and had apparently been on the plate for a long time and had already given off pink water). Very minimalistic for expensive breakfasts.

I am very disappointed!!!!! 7 of us were there for breakfast. We stupidly dropped a glass of orange juice at the beginning. Everything was full, including a small sausage plate (with broken pieces and orange juice). The waitress said in an annoyed tone whether we wanted a new sausage plate (should we eat broken pieces?!?!) What a question.. Well...not only that we had to pay extra for this sausage plate and the ojuice in addition to the breakfast . The waitress gave us a rag to clean ourselves. Then napkins. Impossible!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS FULL!!! WE ALSO HAD TO TAKE THE NAPKINS TO THE TRASH OURSELVES! At such a price you can expect the service to make up for it and, above all, to be more polite! Never again!!!!!! We weren't asked once if we wanted something more to drink. The store is impossible! The food was OK. The salmon was just pretty warm already!

I can only agree with the numerous positive reviews. We like to visit FRANZ during our stays in Achern. The ambience and the food always exceed expectations. Last visit: Salad with rump steak was ideal. Keep it up!!

We decided at short notice to finally go to Franz and didn't regret it. There are noticeably professionals at work here. The restaurant was very well attended. My praise to the service staff, friendly, calm and apparently with a well-organized kitchen team, good craftsmanship was brought to the guests here.👍😋😊🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ We would be happy to come back.

We've been here for brunch several times and we're thrilled every time. The offering and quality are great, the team is very friendly and the atmosphere is modern and pleasant. You don't sit so close to each other. The buffet is always appetizing and there is something for everyone. Only recommended.

Celebrated our birthday with 21 people at Restaurant Franz. Went for breakfast brunch and everyone was really excited about the large selection, the delicious food and the friendly and courteous service staff. Beautiful ambience in which you like to linger. Great value for money. We'd love to come back

We went for brunch. Food was very tasty and plentiful. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The boss personally inquired at every table whether everything was correct. We would be happy to come back.

Superlatives are always difficult to convey. But here they are really appropriate. FOOD was really plentiful and tasty and the quality was worth the money. We each ordered the salad plates individually, in particular the one with rump steak, which was served absolutely perfectly. Therefore all 6 thumbs up because there were three of us today. And we will definitely be happy to come back. The service was also first class in every way. Thank you very much for the evening.

The restaurant is part of the concept of a seniors' residence. Spacious seating areas with bright lighting. Service is friendly and attentive. Food different. The starter soup was very tasty. Unfortunately, the main course had errors: the schnitzel was finished and the spaetzle was left in the water for too long.

We went here for brunch on Easter Monday! There were lots of delicious things, the space was very spacious, the staff was attentive and friendly! I can only recommend it! Likewise the lunch table (I was there at another time), so all in all a great location🍀✌️

The restaurant is located in the middle of the retirement community in Achern! Too embedded for me because I just drove past it😅. We were there for breakfast on Saturday morning (table reservations are always recommended). The selection of different breakfasts is sufficient - sometimes less is more! The Glashütten breakfast is plentiful; the scrambled eggs were delicious and the selection of different rolls was ok! The price is rather in the upper range (17.80 euros) - but this is probably due to inflation, as everything has become more expensive! The ambience is modern and appealing; For me personally the dining room was too big/open! Gladly worth recommending😊

Modern restaurant that is also the canteen of a senior citizens' home. Food quite decent, quite large portions. Salad was very good. The tagliatelle with salmon didn't convince me. Neither does the Black Forest cake. Price level is definitely too high.

Anything that has to do with meat or salad is edible. Unfortunately, the chef has shortcomings when it comes to everything that is fried: French fries are too salty, fried potatoes taste too hot or old fat, and it's better not to bite into the cute fried dough baskets in which the vegetables are served.

German cuisine in the restaurant, only with connection to assisted living. Also open to guests, family and groups. The items were very good and generously served. I'll probably be here from time to time.

The chocolate that was served to me was in a large cocktail glass. It was completely overflowing so full of cream that you couldn't even lift the glass to drink it. As far as I know, you drink chocolate from a cup!

Nice modern restaurant. What is special is that it is located directly in a nursing home. Nevertheless, the interior is very modern, almost youthful. A really great place to eat, but I find the portions too small for my taste for the price.

Wir fühlen uns mittlerweile fast wie zu Haus im Restaurant Franz . Heute waren wir zum Weihnachtsbuffet und ich muss sagen das Buffet hat einen umgehauen . Es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt und super schön war alles arrangiert . Die Küche hat sich selbst übertroffen . Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team . Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sehr schönes Restaurant mit modernem, aber gemütlichem Ambiente. Das Ambiente veführt zum lange verweilen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich, aber nicht übertrieben . Die Preise sind fair für die Qualität und man bekommt ziemlich viel für Geld.

War schon öfters im Franz, es war immer sehr lecker und auch das Ambiente ist toll. Das Lokal ist immer sehr gut besucht, und der Service hat gut zu tun. Was ich jetzt schreibe, ist nur in der Hoffnung, dass es der Eigentümer/Pächter beherzigt…. Wir wollten am Dienstag Mittag zum Essen kommen, habe für 3 Personen reserviert. Da es unsere Mittagspause war, hatten wir nur begrenzt Zeit. Getränkte wurden aufgenommen und gebracht… und dann kann niemand mehr um uns wegen Essen zu fragen, selbst als wir es aktiv angesprochen haben ( nach 30 Minuten) passierte nichts… wir mussten dann ohne essen gehen. Sowas darf einfach nicht passieren. Wenn nur 3 Personen den kompletten Service incl Theke machen, dann dürft ihr nicht soviele Leute annehmen. Das funktioniert nicht und spricht sich rum. Einfach den hinteren Bereich zu lassen… lieber gleich den Gästen sagen, dass es nicht geht als sowas… wirklich schade. Dennoch werde ich natürlich trotzdem gerne wieder ins Franz kommen.

Wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier mit Brunch hier im Franz. Alle waren zu frieden und begeistert. Wir werden öfters hier her kommen.

Montags morgen 9.00 Uhr dort gewesen! Es war soweit ok aber wir hier schon viele geschrieben haben der Service ist nicht besonders! In über 2 Stunden war der Service nur 1 mal Tisch um zu fragen ob wir noch was wollen! Auch abräumen hat ewig gedauert! Ich hatte das Wattfrühstück und das war gar nix! Es heißt Rührei mit Nordseekraben und Lachs! Das habe ich auch bekommen aber alles extra! Ich hatte erwartet das alles zusammen im Rührei ist was ich persönlich besser fände! Und für 15.90 Euro höchstens 2 Rühreier ist schon sehr wenig! Das Glashüttenfrühstück war dafür in Ordnung!

Ambiente schön, alles neu und moderne Einrichtung, Durchgang zur Pflegeeinrichtung, Toiletten groß und behindertengerecht. Auch der Außenbereich hinten raus ist gemütlich. Bedienung war freundlich. Der Salat war nicht lecker und frisch, wie es in der Speisekarte angepriesen wird. Welke Blätter, die man nicht essen möchte und die man auch sah. Darauf müsste mehr geachtet werden. Die Bedienung nahm die Anmerkung hin und sagte, sie gibt es an die Küche weiter. Eine Entschuldigung kam nicht. Das Trinken war in Ordnung.

An einem Tag hatten wir dort ein leckeres Mittagessen, an einem anderen ein ebenso gutes Frühstück. Beide Male serviert von einem freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service.

Sehr nette zuvorkommende Damen im Service. Es wird immer geschaut ob alles recht ist und ob noch jemand Wünsche hat. Das Ambiente ist modern und sehr auffallend, es gibt viel Platz. Der Nebentisch steht weit genug weg um nicht alle Gespräche mitzubekommen. Das Essen, also in unserem Fall Frühstück, völlig ausreichend mit genügend Auswahl. Es hat alles gepasst. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder 😊👍😎👌

Wir waren heute zum brunchen dort. Der Brunch findet dort jeden ersten Sonntag im Monat statt. Man sollte allerdings früh genug reservieren. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen. Alles war sehr frisch und appetitlich angerichtet und zubereitet. Man kann wählen wie man sein Rührei haben möchte usw. Vegetarisch gab es eine gute Auswahl, vegan gab es nichts offensichtlich, vielleicht auf Nachfrage.Die Bedienungen waren aufmerksam und schnell. Wir werden da definitiv wieder hingehen. Einen Stern Abzug gab es für die Schweinemedaillons, die waren etwas trocken und die Pfifferlinge bitter

Ich hatte leider ein Krabbeltier im Salat, kann immer mal passieren. Aber man hätte als Wiedergutmachung zumindest den Kaffee, den ich noch hatte , gratis geben können. Der Service war sehr nett, das Ambiente ist Geschmackssache, mir persönlich hat es nicht gefallen.

Essen war ok. Doch wenn ich Frühstück gehe erwarte ich frische Backware und keine auf gebackenen Brötchen von Discounter. Service war extrem schlecht und langsam. Wir haben nur auf das Frühstück 50Minuten gewartet. In der Zeit hätte ich meinen O-Saft und Latte leer. Es würde auch nicht gefragt ob wir noch etwas wollen. Später müssten wir sogar an die Kasse bezahlen gehen, da niemand kam. Die Location ist innen schön. Wir waren draußen Anfang schön ruhig doch dann ging der Baulärm los. Der Preis ist OK wenn die Backware eine bessere Qualität hätte. Bessert euch in den Angesprochenen Punkten und ihr könnt die 5Sterne erreichen.

Tolles Restaurant, was man beim ersten Eindruck nicht vermutet, da es in einer Seniorenresidenz angesiedelt ist. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und auf der Speisekarte ist auch genügend Auswahl vorhanden. Aber auch der Service war sehr gut und zudem sehr aufmerksam. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Vorspeise Salat war sehr trocken und Geschmacksneutral (wegen fehlendem Dressing) Die Getränke wurden auch erst nach der Vorspeise gebracht. Mein Rinderbraten war trocken /hart und faserig (ungenießbar) Die Beilagen auch Geschmacksneutral. Das Dessert war gut und der Wein auch . Es kam mir vor als käme das Menu von einer Fernküche. Für ein Kantinenessen 82 € zu bezahlen finde ich übertrieben.

Waren heute zum ersten mal hier, aber das wird nicht der letzte Besuch werden. Ich bin sehr begeistert vom Service und der Qualität des Essen. Gutes Frühstück und Mittagessen zu fairen Preisen, schönes Ambiente und auch schöne schattige und ruhige Plätze draußen hinter dem Haus.
