We enjoy going there. The staff is very friendly and focused on customer satisfaction. There's a wide selection of dishes; there's something for everyone. Ample parking is available.

Very friendly, attentive staff, very tasty food

I don't usually like giving bad reviews, but in this case, I unfortunately have to. I ordered food for pickup and was incredibly disappointed. The gyro was streaked with fat and wobbly, the rice tasted sour, as if it were a few days old and had gone bad, and the souvlaki wasn't a real pork fillet, as it's supposed to be, but rather a tough pork steak. I'm giving the one star to the waiter who handed me my order because he was nice. Sorry, no recommendation!

The restaurant is nicely decorated and run by Sikhs. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and quick. The food is good value for money, but the drinks are, as always, too expensive, unfortunately. But we still go there occasionally for a beer.

The food was ordered, and it arrived quite quickly. When I unpacked the food, I wondered why the packaging was so light. Well, there wasn't much in it anyway!!! Anywhere else, this would be a child's portion. Two slices of bread for three people, which tasted awful. When I touched the slices, they fell apart. The salad wasn't good either; the dressing, in our opinion, was just a little smeared on it, not homemade. The gyro and turkey steak tasted of nothing. The crowning glory, however, were the two hairs in one portion. The tzatziki and fries were delicious, the fried potatoes were not. Conclusion: The food went straight into the trash, but we were over €50 poorer.

You can sit outside and relax. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious 😋. We'd love to come back.

Attentive staff, delicious food. A real asset to Appen! The appetizer salad could have used a slice of feta and a kalami tomato salad, and homemade bread would have added the finishing touch. The bifteki were very tasty. The gyro was probably pan-fried, as the cut would have needed to be flatter for a rotisserie. The lamb chops were pink and well-seasoned, and the vegetable side dish was very tasty, albeit a bit overcooked. The menu is a bit too extensive for "my" taste. We'd be happy to come back.

Came to Germany from New York to meet with some cousins and was recommended this restaurant by a lot of the locals. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. I definitely recommend the schnitzel as a first time taster of the native dish.

I went to this restaurant with friends because it looked pretty good from the outside – unfortunately, that impression was quickly shattered once we were inside. The service was unfriendly and seemed annoyed when we politely asked for recommendations. The wait for the food was over 45 minutes, even though the restaurant was half empty. The meal itself was a disaster: My dish was lukewarm, poorly presented, and completely oversalted. The sauce on my friend's pasta was watery and the meat tough. We left most of it. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired – sticky tables, dirty glasses, and a strange smell in the air. Value for money? A disgrace. Conclusion: A visit I'll soon forget. Absolutely not recommended.

I recently visited this restaurant with a colleague, and our experience was unfortunately unsatisfactory. The schnitzel I was looking forward to was not crispy at all, but rather mushy. The fried potatoes were also disappointing—they were barely seasoned and had far too little salt. The overall impression was that the quality of the food did not live up to expectations. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Today, on July 5, 2025, we ate at Estia again, and recently, with a larger group. I had a half duck, the skin was nice and crispy, the gravy was also really delicious, and the red cabbage with bay leaves was absolutely delicious, and the potato dumplings were very fluffy, really good. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was very airy, light, not too sweet, but simply perfect, thank you so much 🤗. Today we ate at Estia again, and what can I say? Everything was absolutely delicious. The homemade juices with raspberries, mint, lemon, and orange were very refreshing and delicious. I highly recommend them. We'll definitely be back and will recommend you to others. The food was truly delicious, with large portions. The meat was juicy and the vegetables were crisp, and the salad was delicious. The service was top-notch, and everyone was so nice and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Went there for the first time today based on a recommendation and it was really good.

Ordered, delivered in 30 minutes and from Appen to Uetersen, really good. Food was very hot and absolutely delicious. We ordered the platter for 3 and there was even a lot left over for 2 adults and 2 children, so I don't have anything to complain about in terms of quantity. I just could have used a little more tzatziki, we just love it. We ordered there for the first time and will definitely do it again.

The messed up duck ended with a police operation and expulsion... From the beginning... there were 11 of us there, two of us had ordered duck. Basically everyone was happy with the food and service - except for the duck. It wasn't crispy, but more reminiscent of rubber eagles and was not edible and was not eaten. Complaining twice didn't change anything. When the duck was finally collected, we asked for a 50% discount. The son of the house couldn't decide, so we had to wait until the boss came back. He raged loudly through the restaurant and was completely unreasonable and called the police. She came, but couldn't do anything and left again. This was followed by an eviction and a ban from the house with the information that the matter would be referred to a lawyer. In the end, we didn't pay the price at all, we can imagine how the lawyer would have a fit of laughter and we definitely won't be coming back.

Beautiful Restaurant with great delicious food! 😋 We visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago and have returned several times since then - we just liked it so much! The ambience is really nice and the atmosphere is very inviting. The food is simply fantastic! Not only does it taste really delicious, but it's also very plentiful - you'll definitely get full here! But the absolute highlight is the dessert: My husband raves about the ice cream with hot raspberries - he says he has never had such a great dessert!🤭 We have already taken friends and family with us and they are also thrilled. We can really recommend this restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We were there for the first time. In some places the atmosphere is already getting old. Chairs are very comfortable so you can stay longer. Service absolutely top, very friendly and attentive. Food was of great quality and cooked to perfection. Portions are sufficient in size. Free parking spaces are available. P.S. Quzo is still available on the house here, which is no longer a given.

Have been here twice. Now a third time. Food wasn't great, duck leg was gray and dry, Victoria bass tasted quite "fishy". It wasn't all that bad. My girlfriend was supposed to pay about €24 and wanted to pay €30 with a tip and put down a fifty. The waiter put it in his pocket and at the same moment my friend added €10 and said "that's right". She said she made a mistake and only put down €20. Without hesitation, the waiter pocketed the €10 and would have received a tip of €36. Before he could leave, I stopped him and pointed out to him that she had made a mistake. He hesitated a bit and then gave her €20 back, whereupon I said the €10 was still missing. Of course it was our mistake, but I was shocked that he pocketed the money without comment. I would have at least expected that he would have asked again whether she actually wanted to give a tip of €36. I didn't think it was that cool somehow.

At first I was very skeptical, a Greek who has such a variety on the menu is rather unusual. We have tested the menu on 5-6 visits now and nothing has disappointed us. The portions are perfect and everything is always fried nice and juicy. I can also highly recommend the fried potatoes. Unfortunately you only ever get one ouzo on the house, with other Greeks you usually get at least 2. The only thing I would like to point out, but doesn't particularly bother me personally, is an orderly who walks through the store every time wearing Nike sweatpants.

I ended up having the liver with onions, champions and fries. The liver was ok. My partner's beef fillet came through easily. In addition, he was not asked in advance. Unfortunately, I cannot tolerate dairy products, so I asked for an alternative for dessert. There was nothing available to me here. Unfortunately, the waiter suggested all things with ice cream and especially cream. Unfortunately he didn't understand it. Conclusion: You can - you don't have to if you are dependent on alternatives. Reply to owner's reply: The soufflé you advertise on your menu is declared as “Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream”. Is the chocolate whole milk or dark? Only dark chocolate would come into question here. The ice would be gone for me. It should also be added that lactose intolerance has absolutely nothing to do with “I can’t eat dairy products”.

I ordered there for the first time yesterday and was more than super surprised. The food came super on time and most importantly - it was hot. The quality is a 1 with * and the delivery was perfect and friendly. There were really good portions too. I will definitely continue to order there. Only the minimum purchase of €30 is perhaps a little high for one person. Go on like this.

Bad service, very unfriendly service, not very tasty food. If you complain, you will be reprimanded and no remedy will be provided. The stir-fry vegetables looked like they had been defrosted in the microwave and were completely unseasoned. After an hour in the ice-cold restaurant, we were called to the checkout one by one to pay. Never again!!

Just came back from dinner, very tasty, everything went great. But the room temperature was very cold, even though all the heaters were turned on fully after we asked. We were freezing and won't be back until it's warmer, which is a shame.

Wir waren schon das zweite Mal hier essen und werden auf jedenfall wieder vorbeischauen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell. Die Spare Ribs sind unglaublich zart und sehr lecker. Ich hatte sie schon im Umkreis bei einigen Restaurants bestellt, aber nirgends sind sie so zart bzw. so rein ohne Knochenspähne (kam bei der Konkurrenz leider zu oft vor) der Nachtisch ist auch sehr lecker.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit einem sehr guten Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Haben dort gestern mit 18 Personen zu Abend gegessen und die Gerichte wurden schnell durch das nette Personal serviert. Geschmacklich und von den Portionen hervorragend. Kann wärmstens die Lammpfanne sowie als Nachtisch das Vanilleeis im Blätterteigmantel empfehlen. Kommen gerne wieder und werde es weiter empfehlen.

Das Restaurant ist gut zu erreichen und bietet eigene kostenlose Parkplätze. Wir wurden sehr offen und freundlich begrüßt. Während des ganzen Abends war das Personal durchgängig sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen kam zügig und sehr heiß. Insbesondere das Fleisch und der Fisch waren von sehr guter Qualität und sehr lecker. Auch Vorspeise und Nachtisch waren prima. Einziges kleines Manko war die Lautstärke. Wir saßen direkt in der Nähe des Tresens und da war es teilweise etwas sehr laut. Aber wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend und kommen gerne wieder.

Leckeres Essen sehr saftiges Fleisch. Das Konzept ist nicht ganz klar. Ein Inder mit Griechischer Küche der aber auch Grünkohl und Ente anbietet.

Rezension bezog sich auf Hamburg, wo das Estia ja geschlossen wurde. Damals habe ich gepostet: # Üppige und leckere Portionen. # Nachtrag nach einiger Zeit: wenn die so weiter machen, ist bald geschlossen. Wenn man Gastronomie als Job nicht mag, soll man es lassen. # Zweiter Nachtrag: war absehbar... haben dicht gemacht. Angeblich wegen der Miete. War für die immer weniger werdenden Besucher zu groß und wirkte am Schluss verlassen.

Sehr feines Abendessen, toller Geschmack, sehr gute Qualität von Fisch & Fleisch! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen sicher bald wieder vorbei.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, aufmerksame - schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen ist sensationell, die Speisekarte breit gefächert, hier findet jeder etwas und zum passenden Preis. Die Tageskarte noch dazu, was will man mehr. Die Portionen reichlich und hervorragend zubereitet. Wir sind einmal im Monat aus Berlin zum Besuch im Pflegeheim in Appen und werden hier sehr gerne einkehren. Meinem alten Vater gefällt es super hier essen zu gehen. Weiter so, bis bald.

Das Restaurant macht einen sehr sauberen Eindruck, auch von der Grünfläche vor dem Lokal. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen zügig, vor allem der Salat war gut gemacht. Auch das Essen war sehr gut, mir fehlte der Knoblauch im Zaziki. Ich habe auf der Karte auch seniorengerechte Speisen vermißt, vielleicht übersehen? Etwas schade ist- ich kaufte einen Essensgutschein, auf dem dann notiert wurde, daß er nur 3 Monate gültig ist. Auf Nachfrage sagte man, auch wenn man danach kommt, kein Problem. Da ich den Gutschein verschenken wollte, ist das jetzt etwas unglücklich; ich kann nicht sagen, ignoriere die Gültigkeitsdauer. Denn meines Wissens beträgt sie 2 Jahre?!

Ein sehr schönes Lokal für Geburtstagsfeier und Events, haben mega viel Spaß gehabt am Geburtstag meiner Freundin mit wunderschöner Dekoration und Interior. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert, wir hatten eine schöne Zeit bis 22 Uhr;) der Geschäftsführer ist auch sehr sympathisch.
