Yesterday, Saturday, we visited this very hospitable place for the first time. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. We were bid farewell with "see you next week." I could only reply with "for as long as." The laughs were on my side, and we'll definitely be back. See you soon. 👍😉

The atmosphere was like a kitchen cafeteria. Too much noise outside. We waited 30 minutes for drinks, then another 30 minutes for food (a total of 60 minutes). Then another 45 minutes for food → we only got our food 1 hour and 45 minutes after it arrived. Additionally, the food was burnt but still cold. We had to wait another 20 minutes for the bill, which only came upon request. Ouzo was offered, but without glasses. The staff also barely understood German. One star for the cheap, good cocktails and the birds. Otherwise, a disaster. We'll never be back.

We waited 45 minutes to order drinks and appetizers. Then another 45 minutes for the food. The cafeteria-like room was very loud and lacked that typical Greek flair (both in the decor and the lack of music). Some of the salmon was still raw, and the bifteki was oversalted. Initially, they served just any wine, not the one we ordered. We are very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back.

The place is okay, the adult portions are quite large, and the prices are lower than in other Greek restaurants. The food tastes okay, but it wasn't particularly impressive. The children's portions (the pasta with tomato sauce was average in flavor and a tiny portion! And the pork chop is miniature, as seen in the photo, but it's full of fries). We didn't like the salad bar. A free 0.2 liter of Ouzo is included. There are pros and cons to this place. One generally large room with no atmosphere. Beer is only €4. Dishes are served separately, and the wait is quite long when there are only a few customers.

The food was consistently delicious 😋 and plentiful. When the weather's nice, the conservatory is a lovely place to sit ☀️😊 Unfortunately, we lose one star for the service, which still needs improvement. All in all, though, highly recommended 👍 We'd be happy to come back.

We have been to the Elysion restaurant in Pleißa several times, but also at the old location in Limbach. The food is very tasty for our taste, the portions are very generous and the price is absolutely fair. We always enjoy coming here.

Wow what a nice spacious but also cozy restaurant. The waiters were very friendly. We had lunch on Sunday without ordering and got a seat. There are parking spaces in front of the front door. Very tasty with lots of garlic and decent portions. There is a salad bar where everyone can put together their own salad for the main course. There is a pot of ouzo for every table. Great, we'll be back.

Both the food and the staff left nothing to be desired. Fast and tasty and friendly. Only the room could be made a little more comfortable. A large dance hall as a guest room. It lacked the cozy compartmentalization of other Greek restaurants.

We were there about 2 weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised. We knew him from the time when he was still in downtown Limbach, but we didn't think that so many positive things would have been retained after the move. The prices are around 20% lower than those in the Mykonos market and there was around 20% more on the plate. You can get the salad at the salad bar if you like and instead of an ouzo you get a small carafe. He really touched us and will certainly be our future regular Greek player.

We had reservations and there were 5 of us. Good and fast service, the food and the quantity was perfect. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was a bit like a cafeteria or canteen. It's a real shame, really! Possibly a few fewer tables in the main hall to make room for a few partitions. But it was still a very nice evening with good food! Thanks for that! :)

“I don't even know how to describe the whole thing without repeating myself - it was all just terrible! Not only was the wine disgusting, it tasted like old, fermented water. I returned it but the waiter just looked at me like I had insulted him and just brought me a new bottle which was just as bad. The dishes on the menu? A joke! I wanted to order a specific dish, but was told it was no longer available - even though it was still on the menu! Then I was forced into something else that tasted like frozen convenience food and was served cold. The room was so freezing that my teeth almost rattled as I chewed, and I'm not one to get cold easily. The service was the icing on the cake - the staff was rude, seemed overwhelmed and had absolutely no idea what they were doing. It was as if they all didn't want their jobs. Absolutely no apology, no gesture of politeness - just a miserable atmosphere! And the prices? A pure impudence! For what you get, you might as well eat in a canteen - but at least it would have warm air and not such bad wine! NEVER AGAIN!"

Not a feel-good restaurant, large dining room (canteen-style cafeteria), it was very cold and loud in the room. The ambience still leaves a lot of room for improvement. Although there is a cloakroom, the guests hang their winter jackets over the backs of the chairs, which doesn't necessarily make things better Atmosphere. We have been to many Greek restaurants. Maybe we always hit the top restaurants. In any case, we realized that this one can't keep up with the others. The atmosphere is more reminiscent of a cafeteria with a little “beach decoration”. The staff was friendly but very tense. Saw waiters running for the first time. This doesn't exactly contribute to a relaxed atmosphere. Finally, a word about food. The salad was bland and tasteless. The garlic potatoes were potatoes with garlic (which was also quite bitter). The fish wasn't anything special either. The starters didn't convince us either. The iced tea wasn't worth the money in terms of taste either. Of course you can argue about taste. But a lot of factors came together here that don't allow for a good assessment. All in all, we just wanted to get out quickly.

This Greek restaurant is simply wonderful! The food is not only incredibly tasty, but also surprisingly cheap. But what really makes this place special is the staff. Absolutely great – so loving, kind and accommodating. They always make me feel at home. I just love this place and can't wait to come back. A piece of Greece in Limbach-Oberfrohna that touches my heart.

A typical village Greek in Germany😉 That means almost only meat, a lot of garlic and fries but not untasty. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in this actually beautiful former dance hall is very strange, the stage is covered by plastic film, there was a hole in the ceiling and the inner courtyard directly on the main street was completely paved over

Today we ate at the restaurant's new location for the first time, overall it tasted good, the meat was well done, only the garlic potatoes were far too fatty and therefore not a bit crispy, unfortunately. And as far as the Greek ambience is concerned, that still needs work.

At the weekend there is a busy restaurant with good cuisine, price-performance ratio suits me. The waiting times for service on Saturday, for example, show clear potential. A reservation is always recommended. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the restaurant or in the immediate vicinity. The outdoor area is new and attractively designed. I would like to recommend some sound-absorbing elements inside; some of the furnishings also thrive on the open flair. We enjoyed our visit and would like to come back.

We used to love visiting, the quality of the food was good. Unfortunately we cannot confirm this in the new building on Hohensteiner Straße. The food is served carelessly, is only lukewarm and unfortunately doesn't taste particularly good anymore. The ambience inside and outside doesn't attract anyone...it's a shame.

Ate in the new outdoor area for the first time and we were very, very excited, a lovingly furnished beer garden where you can spend cozy hours in the best weather. There is even a bird aviary with lots of colorful birds where you can get a bit of a holiday feeling. :) The food and price/performance ratio are still unbeatably good, as is the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. We are already looking forward to our next visit with you...keep it up!!!

In the large dining room, a former event hall, there is an atmosphere like a canteen. Lots of tables, lots of people, relatively loud noise, it doesn't feel comfortable. It's a shame because the food is really tasty.

As often mentioned, the price-performance ratio is really good here. Really lots of food and delicious. Of course the idea of ​​an extra salad bar is really cool. Ouzo is the first thing that lands on the table (For 4 people 25cl, slightly stretched to my taste, but I could be wrong) The ambience in the small room is really good, the large hall is more suitable for celebrations (but there is a cool Bullerjan oven there) Service also without problems and nice!

It's a shame I would have liked to eat something, but when I, as a disabled person, have to walk for miles just because some people park for two and they turn you away on supposedly public land, I'm no longer hungry

Large menu and drinks menu so everyone will find something tasty. We were disappointed with the Saganaki Special appetizer as we have eaten much better ones. The portions are generous. A little less would also have been ok, then there would have been room for dessert. We will come back, at the latest when the new beer garden is finished.

Unfortunately we were very very disappointed. The hall was absolutely loud and without any Greek flair. The service lacked the warmth you would otherwise find in Greek restaurants. You didn't get the feeling that the staff were happy about guests; it was almost like a clearance. Unfortunately, the dishes were presented very carelessly and were completely oversalted. The meat on the chicken skewer was somehow inferior, skewered in a completely tangled mess, greasy and, on top of that, not cooked through! When we wanted to take the rest with us, we were allowed to fill the containers ourselves. We're really a bit speechless, we didn't expect something like that. A real shame. Stop! I would like to mention something positive: The salad bar was tasty, fresh and nicely presented.

Once and never again. I don't even know where to start, the atmosphere is like a train station square. A crowded, loud hall where conversation at the table is not possible. Apart from the fact that I didn't get what I ordered, the food was completely over-seasoned and soggy and had nothing to do with Greek cuisine. The waiting time for the food was over an hour, so you can't be hungry. It's a shame, I can't recommend it.

Unfortunately, the new location lacks coziness...if you're unlucky and sit at the back of the old hall, maybe even up on the former stage, you'll feel like you're in a train station...there's definitely still a need for action here ....

Since I've only read positive reviews about this new restaurant, I and my family had to try it out. Unfortunately, we were accommodated in a kind of hall where, firstly, it was very cold and the arrangement of the huge groups of tables gave the impression of being similar to a cafeteria. Due to the large number of people accommodated, it was so loud that normal conversation with my family members was almost impossible. The food we ordered (dish with garlic fried potatoes) was prepared with so much garlic that it burned our tongues. In addition, the food was only moderately warm. Since we were not able to order drinks again due to the ignorance of the staff, or perhaps because they were overwhelmed, we made our way home very disappointed. I also can't agree that there was supposedly always ouzo, since we were only given one as a greeting. (Which of course shouldn't be the reason for visiting a restaurant) We've already visited many very good Greek restaurants, but here I can really only give it 3 stars. In my opinion, there is still a lot of potential here that needs to be changed.

Unfortunately, our favorite Greek... has taken a turn for the worse. The gentlemen have never had beautiful entrance areas, but more would certainly have been possible in their own house. The food was tasty. But it doesn't blow your mind either. Unfortunately the presentation is very functional. The side dish comes on a large, run-of-the-mill plate (see photo) and the table for four is too small even if two people don't have a side dish and we had an hour to plan the table layout before the food arrived. In most Greek restaurants it looks pretty much the same. Not here, unfortunately. Turning a rifle house into a Greek tavern is really not easy. But without any table decorations and with small pictures on huge walls and a few scattered accessories, the large room unfortunately just looks like a canteen with a tendency to disorder. Not to mention the acoustic situation. Please don't misunderstand, this isn't a put-down, it's an assessment of a move that was too early or, viewed from the outside, not thought through. With a bleeding heart we decided to spend our money in a more suitable atmosphere after 7 years. A pity

Nettes Personal. Das Essen ist ok. Das Ambiente könnte man etwas modernisieren, aber uns hat das weniger gestört. Es gibt auch einen Biergarten .

Schon vor dem Umzug des Lokals waren wir sehr gern im Elysion. Das Essen und die Bedienung waren wie gewohnt super, aber das Ambiente im neuen Lokal ist furchtbar. Man wollte uns einen Tisch in der „Bahnhofshalle“ geben, wir haben dies dankend abgelehnt. Absolut ungemütlich und unzumutbar laut. Zum Glück war im vorderen Gastraum noch Platz. Ich kann all den anderen Bewertungen bezüglich der Lautstärke im hinteren Gastraum nur zustimmen.

Sind hier schon seit ein paar Jahren Gast (auch vor dem Umzug des Restaurants) und gehen immer wieder gerne hin. Der neue Standort ist ziemlich gemütlich, mit einem Kamin (toll in der kalten Jahreszeit 😘) und immer noch sehr lecker. Sogar unsere Familien kommen gern hierher von auswärts. 😉 Preise sind moderat, die Bedienung freundlich und man bekommt auch sehr zügig seine Bestellungen (in Stoßzeiten etwas Wartezeit) sowie den obligatorischen eiskalten Ouzo. Wir können das Elysion guten Gewissens empfehlen. Update: Natürlich ist im Weihnachtsstress einiges mehr los als an anderen Tagen, verständlich. Doch auch bei einer kleinen Weihnachtsfeier (mit ausreichend Vorlaufzeit) hofft man dennoch Essen innerhalb unter 90 Minuten (unser Diabetiker ist fast unterzuckert) und auch auf die entsprechend gebuchte Anzahl Stühle (und das nicht mitten im Gang). In 2 der 10 Speisen fanden sich auch Abfälle (Plastikfolie unter dem Hähnchenfilet) und Zahnstocher-Teile bei einem Lammgericht. Einem der Kellner haben wir dies mitgeteilt, aber ob er es weitergegeben hat, ist unklar. An diesem Tag hatten sich die Guten eindeutig übernommen... Dennoch: Ältere Leute könnten diese Dinge übersehen und verschlucken, das darf nicht passieren!

Wir waren das erste Mal wieder bei diesem Grieche seit dem Umzug. Auf die Getränke haben wir 1 Stunde gewartet und es kamen auch noch falsche. Das Essen dauerte 2,5h. Das Ambiente ist nicht gemütlich, sehr kalt und laut. Keine griechische Musik. Das Essen aber war sehr gut und reichlich. Ich hoffe sie bekommen das hin mit der Gemütlichkeit und den Wartezeiten. Höre auch von anderen immer das gleiche. Klar ist das nicht einfach bei vollem Haus, es war eine Hektig und der Stress zu spüren aber für die Gäste ist das keine Entspannung. Evtl ein paar Raumteiler in griechischen Stil und etwas Deko und die Musik und vor allem für Wärme sorgen. Der Kamin reicht nicht aus auf der Toilette friert man fest. Ich hoffe sehr dass es besser wird und werde dem ganzen noch eine Chance geben, da es sehr lecker ist und sich alles erst einspielen muss

Speisen sind sehr lecker. Service ist freundlich, aber man wartet grundsätzlich zu lange auf die Getränke. Das Ambiente sollte man noch ausbauen, aber man muss dazu sagen , dass der Grieche wohl noch recht neu in dem Haus ist. Aktuell hat es noch etwas mehr von einer Bahnhofshalle und weniger von einer griechischen Taverne. Preise sind jedoch wirklich top.

Gutes Essen, preiswert, schönes Ambiente, Salat Selbstbedienung, leider zu viel Salz. Update: Wir (zwei Personen) waren nach dem Umzug nach Pleissa dort essen. Die Gerichte sind groß und lecker. Die Angestellten freundlich und bemüht. Aber: der Saal ist so laut und ungemütlich. Wir überlegen schon wieder zu gehen. Ich wies darauf hin und bekam zur Antwort, dass so eine laute Atmosphäre normal in Griechenland wäre. Sehr schade. Mit dem Umzug haben sich die Betreiber keinen Gefallen getan.
