Restaurant Elisenhof in Mönchengladbach

We have enjoyed going to the Sunday breakfast buffet for years. There is a selection of rolls, various types of bread, plenty of sausage and cheese, some homemade jams, honey, salmon, Tomatoes/mozzarella, cucumber etc., also scrambled eggs or boiled eggs. There are also various types of coffee, teas, cocoa, different juices and yoghurt, quark and cereals... Actually everything your heart desires and as much as you want! You get a glass of sparkling wine for free! What more could you want? For us it's perfect and that's why it's 5*****

It's all about breakfast. Large selection. Fresh fruit and vegetables. There's scrambled eggs and bacon. Four different types of cheese and sausage. Hot and cold drinks. Top

Had a burger with fries. The fries were apparently cooked in old grease. The ambiance is more 80s-style, similar to the room.

Good fair, tasty and friendly. Surely I'll come back.

We were invited to breakfast. It was disappointing: zero service, totally soggy rolls, so-so cold cuts, and lukewarm coffee. I can't recommend it in good conscience.

Unfortunately, I have never eaten as badly in a restaurant as I did here. I didn't expect to get an overpriced mini schnitzel in a place like this, where the cuisine is fine. On top of that, it came straight from the fryer and was so greasy that the breading was already falling off. The service also left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I can't and won't recommend this restaurant or visit it again, which is a shame because the place is very nice.

The food is okay, but it's been better in years past. I also find it a bit overpriced. The prices here could be lower, just in line with the food.

Very good meals at this restaurant, very attentive waiter. Very varied continental breakfast and dishes appreciated by all the guests. A favorite is the Thai chicken curry, just the right amount of spice!

Location good. Food tasted good. Service poorly organized. Everyone has to make their own judgment about the price-performance ratio.

I can't understand the bad reviews. The food was good and the prices corresponded to the quality and quantity. The service was good and attentive. Maybe you should note that this is not a fast food shop.

Ambience is relatively old It took almost an hour for the food to arrive The food was tasty but not cheap either. Burger and two drinks just under €31. Unfortunately I couldn't find a map online

When we arrived we were helped by the host. We could sit outside. We received an English card when the host noticed that we came from abroad. Great for my friend who can't speak German. We thought there was very little on the menu, mainly starters and dessert. We also thought the prices were on the high side. Ordered food fairly quickly and then waited. We noticed that the host seemed very tense/nervous. We received two dishes in advance, which you do not choose yourself. Then our ordered food (the main course) arrived. Compared to other restaurants, you get little for your money here. We also felt that our food had little taste. We were disappointed and therefore actually finished eating right away. Time had to wait for the host. Host was standing alone and seemed busy (tables not yet cleared, after people had been gone for a long time). Host seemed to do his best. The host asked us if we had enjoyed it when we had already finished. We honestly stated that we were disappointed, because we thought there was hardly any taste to it. Host didn't say anything at first. Then just asked us if it was okay. But indicated that it was okay for now, because we had already eaten a lot of it, so we should have reported it earlier. By the way, I didn't have the chance to report it earlier, because the host didn't come by in between. We paid for what we ordered and left with a half full stomach.

So the breakfast was super delicious. Good selection, everything was fresh and the coffee was great too =).

Sehr gemütlich. Sehr lecker. Große Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr nettes Personal.

Die Bedienung ist freundlich, aber scheinbar nicht vom Fach. Zum Beispiel wurde mein Wunsch nach einem Laktose freien Essen nicht verstanden. Es wurde lediglich die Kräuterbutter durch eine (nach fertig Sauce schmeckende) Pfeffer Sauce ersetzt. Als Vorspeise wurde Brot mit Kräuterbutter gebracht, für mich also nur trocken Brot. Das Essen selbst war ganz gut, aber für den Preis von 30 Euro hätte ich etwas mehr Qualität (vor allem bei den Beilagen) erwartet. Auch die Portionsgrösse war nicht ausreichend um satt zu werden.

Jederzeit wieder gerne. Reichhaltiges Frühstück .

Super miejsce, wnętrze restauracji gustowne, obsługa także. Danie dnia w rozsądnej cenie. Pomimo, iż sałatki nie było w menu to dla mnie zrobili 😍. Polecam. Jeszcze tam wrócę.

Gutes Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen, vor allem die Tagesgerichte kann man empfehlen. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und das Preis Leistung Verhältnis stimmt auch. Der Eingang ist eben Erdig und Behinderten gerecht, vor der Tür befindet sich genügend Parkplätze für PKW und Behinderte Menschen. Auch das dazu gehörige Hotel kann man nur empfehlen, ich habe mich sehr Wohl gefühlt und komme bei meinen nächsten Besuch gerne wieder.
