Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe (ca. 35 Personen) hier. Neben köstlichen Brot mit 2 Dips, Vorspeisentellern sowie Salattellern gab es zeitgleich die Hauptspeisen (wir hatten im Vorfeld unter 5 Gerichten ausgewählt) Und alles war richtig gut 👍🏻 Nachdem es dann noch Nachspeisenteller gab, sind wir glücklich und zufrieden nach Hause gejubelt 😉

Schönes Ambiente, sehr gutes Essen, wir sind Stammgäste.

Seid der Eröffnung bin ich Stammkunde und jeder Besuch ist ein Genuss. Das Personal, der Chef sind immer höflich und haben alle Wünsche erfüllt. Das Elia ist zu 100% weiter zu empfehlen.

Wir waren am 1.Weihnachtsfeiertag mit der gesamten Familie mit 11 Personen dort essen und sind leider sehr enttäuscht nach Hause gefahren. Frühere Erfahrungen in dem Lokal haben uns dazu bewegt hier zu reservieren und bisher war es auch immer in Ordnung. Das Essen war wieder sehr lecker. Preislich okay. Der Sonderwunsch nach einem Sitzplatz im Innenbereich nahe den Sanitären Anlagen wurde drei Wochen vorher aufgegeben und zugesagt. Wir hatten eine sehr mobilitätseingeschränkte Person mit Rollator dabei. Wir saßen dann, entgegen unserem Wunsch, außen mit der weitesten Entfernung zu den Toiletten. Leider hatten alle Familienmitglieder das Gefühl irgendwie abgefertigt zu werden, es war voll es war sehr laut. In dem Wintergarten war es sehr kalt. Keiner der Serviceleute hat uns schöne Weihnachten gewünscht und auch beim Nachbestellen von Getränken waren alle sehr unaufmerksam. Die Minze im Hugo war schon fast schwarz und sehr unappetitlich. Das sollte nicht serviert werden. Wir haben uns alle irgendwie unwohl gefühlt und werden aufgrund dieser Erfahrung auch nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Anfang der Woche habe ich einen Freund zum Abendessen im Restaurant Elià in Mönchengladbach getroffen. Insgesamt war es mein vierter Besuch dieses Restaurants in den vergangenen 5 Jahren. Das Restaurant Elià, in der Korschenbroicher Straße 170 in Mönchengladbach gelegen, ist ein gehobenes griechisches Restaurant. Neben griechischer Küche werden auch Speisen angeboten, die von italienischen, spanischen und türkischen Einflüssen geprägt sind. Das Restaurant wird von der Familie Ntoras geführt, die auch - bereits in zweiter Generation - das Restaurant Lukullus in Krefeld betreibt. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants ist geschmackvoll und fast schon gediegen zu nennen. Sowohl im Innenbereich des Restaurants lässt es sich wunderbar dinieren, als auch im Außenbereich, der insbesondere im Sommer eine luftige Abwechslung bietet. Die angebotenen Gerichte sind in ihrer Auswahl sehr vielfältig und auch immer schön auf dem Teller angerichtet. Bei meinen 4 Besuchen habe ich dreimal sehr leckere Gerichte gegessen, meine Auswahl beim letzten Besuch hat mich aber nicht überzeugt. Dies ist aber kein Manko an sich, da nicht jedes Gericht immer den eigenen Geschmackserwartungen entsprechen kann. Die Servicekräfte sind überaus freundlich und sehr aufmerksam, manches Mal vielleicht aber auch ein wenig übermotiviert. Beim letzten Besuch sind wir innerhalb von 10 Minuten von 3 verschiedenen Servicekräften angesprochen worden, was wir bestellen wollen. Ich hatte den Freund von mir ein Jahr nicht gesehen, so dass wir zunächst ein bisschen Smalltalk gehalten haben, ehe wir uns der Bestellung widmen wollten. Hier wäre es aufmerksamer gewesen die Gäste erstmal ankommen und "setteln" zu lassen, und die Verantwortung für den Tisch auch nur einer Servicekraft zuzuweisen. Die Preise des Restaurants sind nach meiner Auffassung sehr moderat. Man kann hier sowohl preiswert als auch etwas teurer essen, je nachdem für welches Gericht und Getränk, bzw. für wieviele Gänge man sich entscheidet. Kostenfreie Parkplätze gibt es vor dem Restaurant genügend und der Zugang zur Außenterasse als auch zum Innenbereich des Restaurants ist rollstuhl- und rollatorgerecht für all diejenigen, die auf eine Bewegungshilfe angewiesen sind.

Großartig! Das essen ist sehr gut und von der Qualität frisch und geschmackreich. Nur schade das es keine vegetarische/vegane Hauptspeise gibt.

Wir hatten hier einen fantastischen Abend und können das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Das Elia besticht durch ein wunderschönes, stilvolles Ambiente, in dem man sich vom ersten Moment an richtig wohlfühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist einladend und gemütlich – perfekt, um den Alltag für ein paar Stunden entspannt hinter sich zu lassen. ​Auch kulinarisch wurden wir auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Das Essen war durchweg super lecker, optisch sehr ansprechend angerichtet und von hervorragender Qualität. Man schmeckt sofort, dass hier mit hochwertigen, frischen Zutaten und viel Liebe zum Detail gekocht wird. Dazu bietet die Karte eine tolle Weinauswahl, die unseren Abend perfekt abgerundet hat. ​Ein weiteres großes Lob geht an das fantastische Personal. Der Service war den gesamten Abend über unglaublich gastfreundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Man merkt, dass der Gast hier wirklich willkommen ist. ​Fazit: Ein großartiges Restaurant, bei dem das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut stimmt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder!

Zum wiederholten Male bei Elià essen gewesen. Jedesmal sehr zufrieden gewesen. Und das jetzt schon seit ein paar Jahren. Das Personal ist super freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die warmen Vorspeisen sind ein Genuss. Und bei den Hauptgerichten je nach Stimmung immer etwas leckeres gefunden. Und in dem Ambiente kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Essen war geschmacklich gut. Brot als Vorspeise. Der Platz im Wintergarten direkt an der Heizung war unangenehm: von oben kam warme Luft, von unten kalte Luft aus den Gebläse. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Leider macht der Service eine etwas überforderten Eindruck – lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke, ein Getränk wurde vergessen und Sonderwünsche bei der Bestellung wurden erst nach mehrmaliger Nachfrage berücksichtigt. Gutes Essen, aber beim Service und Sitzkomfort ist noch Luft nach oben. Aber klare Empfehlung.

Ich hab mich sehr gefreut hier mit meiner Mutter zu essen. Als wir ankamen war die erste Frage unsere Nationalität und wurden darauf hin bei minus Graden in eine Ecke gesetzt im Wintergarten mit der Aussage ihr könnt das ab mit eurer Nationalität neben uns war leider keine Heizanlage und der Tisch hat gekippelt bei dem Umgang kann das Essen so lecker sein wie möglich, wir haben es natürlich sofort storniert … schade.

Wir waren gestern mit der Familie hier und auf jeden Fall nicht das letzte Mal. Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal, die Portionen sind ordentlich und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch. Immer wieder gerne!

Our Christmas party at Elia today was fantastic. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was superb. The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a wonderful appetizer platter as a starter. For the main course, we had potatoes, vegetables, potato chips, and a variety of high-quality cuts of beef, pork, and lamb. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It couldn't have been better. To finish, we had a wide selection of desserts. A huge thank you to the entire team!

Unfortunately, the restaurant was so crowded that the noise level was far too high, and the bread served as an appetizer arrived with the main course. This visit only gets one star.

This was our first time at Restaurant Elia – and certainly not our last! Everything was simply fantastic: the food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and prepared with love. The atmosphere was also very pleasant and inviting. We would especially like to highlight the service – the waitresses were extremely friendly, attentive, and always there with a smile. Six of us were there over the weekend. Everyone was very satisfied. The food was great, the staff friendly, and the value for money was okay.

Very tasty large dishes, super crispy bread with herb butter to start with, and a digestif on the house! Very friendly welcome and service. We were given a vegetarian starter platter. Interestingly decorated, it was very busy, even in the conservatory. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return.

My compliments to the chef and waiters. Seven of us came without reservation, were warmly welcomed, and had a very good meal. We even had special requests, which the chef accommodated. Today I visited this Greek restaurant with my husband for the first time. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service impeccable, and the food absolutely delicious. The food was quite okay. The decor is very nice. Unfortunately, the pavilion was very crowded and very noisy. The smoke from the smokers wafting in was annoying.

If you're in a good mood, you shouldn't come here. I've eaten here several times now and... Dry food, very rude staff, long wait times. I don't mind if the place is full and the staff is stressed, but it shouldn't be passed on to the guests; it's not professional. Conclusion: When it's quieter, you can sit outside with friends and it's fine. Unfortunately, I can only recommend this restaurant half-heartedly.

Highly recommended! A truly pleasant atmosphere, everything freshly prepared and incredibly delicious. The location is excellent, with no through traffic. It's a bit hidden, but there's plenty of parking. The service is excellent and very friendly; you feel at home. There are plenty of lovely outdoor seating areas when the weather is nice. I'll definitely be back!

100%. Something for every budget. Free water was served to start. Then came bread with spread. The food was served to 16 people almost simultaneously. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. We/I will be back...Thank you.

We were there yesterday in a larger group. Personally, I was very enthusiastic, starting with the ambience, very pretty and also a little more elegant. Our table was beautifully set. The service was incredibly nice, friendly and attentive. The food was incredibly tasty, from the starter, to the main course, to the dessert. The warm bread that was served beforehand was also great. I have to say, I personally liked it very much and would like to go there again with my husband and friends, despite the 45-minute drive.

Food was ok but way too expensive for the quantity. The drinks were completely overpriced at €3.10 for 0.2l, the decoration was only made to look fancy but looked rancid and you only sat on uncomfortable garden chairs with a black cloth stretched over them. In addition, almost all the plates or glasses were broken somehow and there were actually no vegetarian or vegan alternatives, even though they were on the internet.

The Elia is located on the Königskarree premises in Mönchengladbach. There are also numerous free parking options available there. It includes numerous comfortable outdoor seating options, in the very large and heated winter garden and in the restaurant. The interior is very attractive and cozy. The service is very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The visually dated menu is well sorted and offers numerous delicacies. The inexpensive dishes are served in large portions and are extremely tasty. TIP - I can only recommend it.

I have visited many restaurants, but this restaurant is definitely in the top 3. I don't know of a better restaurant in the area than this one. Super fresh, delicious food with a great price/performance ratio. The service and the boss are super friendly, you are greeted and said goodbye with a handshake. Today there were six of us and my food wasn't there at the same time. In return, I received a free salad in the meantime without asking for it. I've never experienced that anywhere before. Simply world class! Keep it up! 💪🏼

Food and service were top. My meat wasn't fully cooked yet and was corrected without any problem. Unfortunately, the beautiful ambience is marred by “little things”, such as menus stuck with duct tape, completely dead plants or curtains that are only half hanging on the rails.

Great atmosphere in the premises of a former cotton mill. Very nicely equipped and tastefully decorated. That's something. The dishes were served in an appetizing and elegant way: fresh, fragrant bread with butter and olives in advance, here almost a bit too much bread, a starter plate for two, this one without bread and Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts (here, however, I would have preferred halves or at least chopped fresh walnuts instead of a small amount (!) of ground walnuts) to the subtly sweetened Greek mocha. The service was impeccably friendly and attentive. Request: a few vegetable dishes in the main course section or on the weekly menu.

Celebrated my birthday here with friends. The reserved table was beautifully set, the service was impeccable, the food itself was very good, everyone enjoyed it. What is particularly noticeable is the warmth with which you feel welcomed. Gladly again.

A very attractive, chic restaurant with excellent cuisine. The service is very attentive but not intrusive. The menu has something to offer for everyone, even if it tends to be Greek. Since the restaurant is always busy, I would always reserve a table. In summer there is a small outdoor area available, as well as a tent, which is now well heated in winter. There are sufficient parking spaces available.

We can't share the positive reviews!!The boss or owner divides his guests into two classes...completely unprofessional...no owner sits down at one of his guests' tables and drinks his wine...while other guests are completely ignored be treated and wait 30 minutes for the service..Click shop for the friends and acquaintances would like to reach out. Food below average...portions small...price/performance ratio doesn't fit... Ambiance is quite nice but at least the curtains should be adjusted in detail... Lots of show, little goo Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended for guests who want to enjoy a good meal for money 💰!!!! Waited a very long time for drinks and appetizers, probably forgotten. The food was good, the ambience was quite nice, it was packed, so there was a lot of background noise.

We were there as a group of 6 people and unfortunately our order was completely forgotten. No waiter noticed that we were waiting so long. It wasn't until we asked after about half an hour that the error was noticed. This of course depresses the mood, especially since there was a nice apology but no compensation for the long waiting time. When the food came it was delicious. What is definitely missing is a larger vegetarian offering. Four or five dishes should now be standard, and ideally at least one or two vegan dishes.
