The food is top. Something different than the typical Greek, there are some really great dishes. In some cases the service could be a little more attentive. It's too loud for me in the restaurant due to the size of the room. All in all, highly recommended.

We've eaten here several times. The various dishes were all very tasty and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

It's not for nothing that the tip in Neheim Grichisch has everything there. Higher quality and you can taste it. Time policy is due to the number of guests. Justified. Not suitable for in between, but rather for something more exclusive. My feeling, but still full recommendation. Anyone who wants to invite you to something special has come to the right place.

I was there for the first time, without a reservation on a Sunday evening, not smart. We were greeted warmly and even got a table. Efforts were made to make this possible. Lucky you! Excellent food, large portions, super friendly staff. I'd love to come back, but with reservation ;)

The best Greek in Sauerland 😍 Perfect service all around, the waiters are always super nice, attentive and accommodating. Even when the hut is full, the waiters are in a great mood and the service is unique. The many starters and the authentic Greek food is simply delicious. The ambience is really nice, you sit comfortably and it is stylishly furnished. You always get bread with dip and (if you want) ice-cold ouzo in advance. Simply perfect! Absolute recommendation 😊

I have to say, I have never had such good Greek food in my life. We had a wellness weekend and were looking for a restaurant. Since this was only 500m away from the hotel, we decided to go for it. The reservation was very easy. We were welcomed very nicely. The ambience is beautiful. We sat inside. We could have sat outside. The outdoor area is incredibly beautiful. The trees are illuminated. The food was sumptuous and very, very tasty. Never had Greek food so good. We would travel 45km just for this restaurant.

The restaurant itself is very nice and modern, with a great ambience and a beautiful location. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We wanted advice on wine, but were treated condescendingly, as if we had no idea what wine we wanted to drink. When we were told that the menu said that you should contact the service for a detailed wine list, we still didn't receive it. The advice was therefore disappointing. The food was served quickly, but unfortunately the starters had no taste. Given the high prices, the food was in no way justified. We all ordered gyros in different variations, but the gyro was rubbery and barely edible. None of us were able to finish our meal and the plates were returned almost untouched. We found it particularly strange that six out of six people at the table felt this way. It can't be just one person's fault if all six couldn't finish the food. When we openly expressed our opinion when asked why we were returning the food, everyone laughed and downplayed the situation. Overall, we were very disappointed because we had hoped for much more after the good reviews and the nice Instagram presence. Unfortunately, both the food and the service were far below our expectations.

Always a relief to eat here. Not only is the food very good, the service is also quick and attentive. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.

Nice restaurant, service friendly and everything went pretty quickly, even though it was busy. Unfortunately, the gyro meat was so fatty that you could see at least as much white fat on almost every piece of meat, despite the sauce. For this reason, we will no longer visit the restaurant. If you spend so much money on a nice meal, it should taste good too.

Let's start on a positive note: the food was - as always - good and the price was also completely reasonable. The drinks were also mostly good, so if you don't have anything made yourself, "Crodino Spritz" is Crodino with mineral water, well. Let's move on to customer friendliness. We wanted to sit outside with a group of 10 people, but were not allowed to push two tables that were 50 cm apart next to each other towards each other. We then had to go into the even warmer indoor area when the outside temperature was 26 degrees. The heat probably also had an impact on the friendliness of the staff and their ability to use the equipment for orders; good staff is probably rare. And consequently the highlight is the service. After a while, individual dishes were served. Shortly afterwards the food was taken away from us and these plates were served to other customers at another table.

Very tasty food for an affordable price. Highly recommended. We were offered a glass of ouzo both before and after the meal. If we are in the area we will definitely come again.

Rather inconspicuous from the outside; Actually a very nice beer garden, with food and service at a high level. Fortunately, Eleo also sees itself as 'the classic Greek', who gives the guest the ouzo they are thirsty for. That's how it works! The prices are reasonable and the interior is of a modern standard. As is well known, the eye also eats. A romantic place and definitely recommended.

A lot of dishes were unavailable but they were bad at communicating what was available. We also had to wait over an hour and 30 mins for our food, and got some of our order wrong. The food itself was amazing tho.

Great restaurant but if you want to sit outside you have to order big drinks 😂 You can't order small ones for whatever reason 🤡 So greed is the main focus in this restaurant and not the guest!!!

Unfortunately, things have deteriorated a lot since opening. In Greece you can taste the love with which the food is prepared. Unfortunately that is not the case here. The food is ok, but I expect more for the price!

Hello everyone, This is my second review for the Eleo. The first one was euphorically good! Then shortly afterwards we were there again with a daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Our daughter and we know original Greek cuisine. According to old Greek custom, we ordered dozens of different mezedes and placed them in the middle. Unfortunately, the great impression from the first time could not be confirmed. There were some meze that we had never seen, let alone eaten, in Greece (e.g. Spetzofai) or that were not of good quality (e.g. Gavros). We were particularly disappointed that some of the standard starters were obviously “out of the bucket” (see allergens/additives). Service and ambience are and will remain top! We deducted a point for the food (especially after a direct comparison: we were in Crete for 5 days the week before last...)

The "other" Greek stands out because here it is really important that guests can enjoy an all-round successful evening. There are no clichéd huge portions of “meat with meat” here, but rather excellent quality food that is portioned “just right”.

Ich wollte einen Tisch reservieren für zwei Personen (Senioren). Wenn möglich am Fenster und nicht in der Mitte wegen hoher Geräuschkulisse. Wurde abgelehnt, des weiteren werden Tische nur für 2 Stunden abgegeben. Heißt ein Abend bei gemütlichem Essen und Wein ist damit ausgeschlossen. Diese Geschäftsidee ist für den Inhaber gut jedoch für die Gäste unzumutbar. Fand das Restaurant vom Essen her immer gut. Auf Massenabfertigung kann ich aber gut verzichten.

For the third time here, by far the best Greek restaurant I know. Far away from 0815 as we know it. Everything was super tasty, high-quality dishes deliciously prepared. Nice atmosphere and great service!

Wir hatten im Aussenbereich einen schönen Abend. Die Getränke wurden sehr schnell gebracht und das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte hat nicht nur das typische Gyros sondern auch typische griechische Gerichte. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft und die Portionen angemessen.

This was our first time at Eleo. Thanks to the large parking lot, there was enough parking space despite the great weather and many guests. We used the very spacious and beautiful outdoor area. The staff and the owner of the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. We decided on lots of small appetizers. The food and drinks came quickly and were very tasty. The interior is also very open, modern and cozy. The location directly on the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path is also particularly good as a digestive walk after a meal. We will be back definitely.

Food, service and ambience were top. Portion sizes are more than sufficient. We had the starter plate, beetroot carpaccio and fried mushrooms and as the main course, saddle of veal and the stuffed fillet skewer (very large portion), both highly recommended. Service was attentive, nice and fast!

We were on the way back and stopped at Eleo 1220 on Sunday evening. It was a very nice evening, with outstanding service. They were kindly escorted to the reserved table. We were given the menu and the daily recommendation to choose from. A short time later the drinks were picked up and served promptly. It is possible to combine the selection so that the food order goes perfectly. We really enjoyed the delicious appetizer with cult status, 3 house dips, and were excellently prepared. The main course was served at an appropriate distance and we were once again very positively surprised in terms of appearance, portion and taste. It was super tasty and we strolled to the motorhome full and happy. Conclusion: Outstanding cuisine and perfect attentive service, despite high capacity utilization we were always served promptly and satisfactorily. We would love to come back. This house is an absolute recommendation.

It's been a long time since I've had such good Greek food, thanks for the lovely evening. I had tender, perfectly fried, pink lamb fillets, grilled vegetables, potato gratin. The rest of the group was also enthusiastic. The friendly service rounded it off perfectly. We will be happy to come back!

Visit on February 18, 2024: Large parking lot. Very large selection of food and drinks. Food and service great. Prices are also appropriate. Not so nice: our clothes smelled very much like a restaurant after the visit.

I was a guest here on a business trip. To put it briefly, the restaurant is awesome. Some of the best Greek food I've eaten so far. The staff was very accommodating, polite and friendly. In my opinion, the ambience is perfect.

Regarding the ambience, since we had booked our table shortly after opening time, it was still pleasantly quiet at first. However, after the room (hall?) had gradually filled up, we found the atmosphere disturbingly loud. As for the meal, there was a bread basket with a yoghurt-garlic dip, but for my taste the bread would have liked to have been crispy (fresh!?). I found the presentation of my dishes a little careless, my breaded sheep's cheese came with only two small fried cherry tomatoes, as did my fried sardinia, with both of them I would have liked an attractive presentation, perhaps one or two olives or pepperoni with toasted bread and a touch Garlic desired.

Very nice restaurant, nice service and a great selection of food. Unfortunately, too much oil for me. The waitress explained to us that Greek cuisine uses a lot of oil, but if you tell us before ordering, it will be reduced. We'll be happy to come back!!!

Located just outside of Neheim on a bicycle street. There are enough parking spaces available. Food and service top. The only thing we didn't like was the acoustics. Since we were sitting in the large room, it was a bit noisy overall. But I would eat there again at any time. Reservation is recommended.

Service is unfriendly, impatient and as a guest you almost feel thrown out. It used to be better, it was the last visit for us and I can't recommend it anymore. My food was okay, but not great either. A pity.
