Restaurant des Alice-Hospitals in Darmstadt

I had lunch here today after my gastroscopy. I was allowed to fill a very small salad bowl with the mini schnitzel, made from the pitiful leftovers that had just been cleared away. The lady at the counter then gave me a very rude scolding for overfilling the salad bowl. The food was mediocre, and the service was very unfriendly. I won't be eating here again.

The food is really good. The goods come from regional suppliers, which are also written on a blackboard. But the prices, especially of the salad, are completely overpriced. Small bowl (side salad) for 5 euros is really steep. The lady at the checkout is very rude and, well, quite unfriendly. I just want to apologize for buying something.

Very expensive! We had fries with currywurst, two salads, two drinks, and a slice of cake. The price of €28 was quite shocking. Everything tasted great. The service staff was very taciturn and rude. Not a bit friendly.

Never again! The "service" was abysmal. Unfriendly doesn't even begin to describe it. She was so irritated that she almost apologized for being there. The coffee was almost undrinkable because the cups get way too hot. When I asked if I could get a different cup for my aunt (93), she was met with a shrug and a rolling of the eyes. The cake was inedible.

If possible, you should avoid this cafe. Overpriced prices and absolutely terrible service. The waitress refused to give us a fork, saying it was her property. I had brought cake for my wife and also said we would eat upstairs in the room. It wasn't allowed... ridiculous... I can understand it outside, but in the room... the employee also gets verbally loud and has to force her demands. My wife then reprimanded her, telling her to keep her voice down. It's a shame she didn't dare to use such a loud tone on me.

The food is okay, but we never really enjoy it. The service and the people who work there are always very friendly ❣️ The ambiance is very nice; you can sit outside, but it's also very nice inside.

Closes at 2 p.m. and is also closed on weekends, good for patients and their visitors 😀😀😀
