Essen war lecker, leider war das Souvlaki etwas trocken

Essen kam zügig und war sehr lecker und reichlich.Gyros schön kross , Suflaki zart und saftig,Bifteki lecker gewürzt.

Bedienung sehr freundlich. Essen war sehr lecker.

Wir können uns über NICHTS beschweren und kommen sehr sehr gern wieder .

Es war einmal gemütlich in kleinen Nischen, heut erweckt dieser Raum den Eindruck einer Kantine, ein großer Raum in dem Tische U Stühle stehen. Privatsphäre ist hier Fehr am Platz. Die Stühle sind bequem und der Tisch für vier groß genug. Meine Bestellung war für mich völlig okay, die Menge passte , der Preis etwas höher im Vergleich. Das Essen meiner Frau schmeckte leicht angebrannt, da konnte nicht mal die Metaxasoße darüber hinweg trösten. Wir haben für drei Gerichte jeweils knapp 20€ hingelegt, dazu die Getränke ist man schnell mal bei 80€ - Salat vorweg war okay, uzo gab es vor und nach dem Essen. So ganz überzeugt hat uns dieser Besuch nicht.

Wir gehen immer gerne mit den Schwiegereltern hier essen, wenn wir in Salzgitter sind. Frische und leckere Speisenauswahl. Tarama ist mein persönliches Highlight (Danke an die Küche 😊). Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Man kann dort gut 👍 auf der Terrasse sitzen und Essen

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Personal ist wirklich freundlich, aufmerksam und man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Das Lokal ist sauber und gepflegt, man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Ordnung gelegt wird. Die Portionen sind absolut ausreichend und machen gut satt. Und das Wichtigste: Das Essen schmeckt richtig lecker. Frisch, gut gewürzt und mit Liebe zubereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gyrosfleisch war sehr trocken knusprig/hart das Fleisch sowie die Pommes noch nicht richtig durch innen. Das Schnitzler war ebenfalls ziemlich dunkel braun trocken und hart. Bedienung und Optik vom Laden war super. Wer lecker essen möchte dem würde ich es wirklich nicht empfehlen.

Nach dem Umbau leider sehr ungemütlich. Wir werden im Sommer wieder kommen wenn man draußen sitzen kann. Essen, wie immer sehr gut .

Top Service, super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch das Ambiente ist sehr schön und sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

It was our first time there, spontaneously and without a reservation. We received a friendly welcome and were offered an ouzo as a greeting – yum! For starters, we had grilled pepperoni, garlic bread, and mushrooms, among other things. Considering the size of the main courses, it was definitely too much. That's what happens when you go out hungry. But everything was very tasty. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the food, but no matter. It was a wonderful evening, and we'd love to come back again! 👍🏼

We were satisfied: friendly staff, comfortable chairs, wide selection on the menu, delicious food, large portions, ouzo before and after the meal 👍.

I come here regularly every few weeks and am always 100% satisfied. Everything is delicious, portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. It's always busy, so reserving a table is recommended.

We were there with a medium-sized group (7 people)....of course it took a while until we had food (because they first needed normal-sized tables of 2-4 people to eat)...but our wait was reasonable...and we all got our food at the same time 👍..(plus point)...the taste was good apart from the side dishes...side dishes (that we had) were very bland...(rice, salad and also the metaxa sauce)...but a complete minus point....if you have special requests they are completely overwhelmed...be it half fries and half rice...chicken instead of pork...extra sauce...tzatziki on a separate bowl for the main course....logistically they shouldn't have been so complicated to cater to guests' wishes.

Best Greek restaurant in the area! Always delicious. Always friendly, and we've never had to wait long for food or drinks! We'll be back.😊

Great service and fast service. Liver is tender, gyros are top-notch, gratinated meats are top-notch, fries are the same. Prices are reasonable, portions are large, and as always...delicious. All in all, I'd be happy to come back...see you soon...

hmmmm... we always enjoy being here. Unfortunately the gyros weren't so good this time (a lot of fat) but the beef liver was very tasty Price performance is right.

We tried the DEJA in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt and were completely impressed. The food was good, there is an attractive selection of Greek dishes and the portions were large. Especially when it came to the starters, we were surprised by the quantity but also the class. The service was friendly and attentive and the obligatory ouzo is also served here. Even more than one! Top recommendation, we would love to come back.

Unfortunately it didn't taste very tasty. We didn't like both the gyros and the bifteki. Too bad. Portions were quite large, very fair for the price.

We've been there twice now and thought the first time was a slip-up, but that wasn't the case. The food takes a long time to reach the table, 45 minutes. It's best to order enough to drink right away because no one comes to ask if you want anything else. Eating gyros with lamb chops was very oily and had hardly any taste. Won't go there again.

Were here for the second time today and are thrilled. Food came quickly, tasted good and the staff were super nice. The meat is nice and juicy.

Large portions, nothing special in terms of taste but ok. All the waitresses were very friendly except for one lady. Don't know if it's the boss there. Maybe you should think about how you treat your guests. You can't roll your eyes at all! Even if something doesn't suit you. Guess they did a good deal at Christmas, even though two people got sick beforehand and only told us about it shortly before!

I had dinner there with my family. We chose 5 courses and were not disappointed. Great quality of the food. Good combinations. The service staff was extremely friendly and very competent. Special requests were taken into account. The ambience was also very harmonious. All in all, it was a success and I can highly recommend it. Price performance very reasonable!

Forgot to bring one person the food. Then they bring the wrong thing and come to the table with three waiters when they complain. Then there is a loud discussion about whether this is the right thing to do... That's the first and last time in the store.

I was there with my father, who uses a wheelchair. Unfortunately there is no barrier-free access. A normal height and a flatter staircase lead to the entrance. From there it continues barrier-free. At my request, a young service worker came and helped my father, on my instructions, to take the two steps up (and later down again) while my cousin pushed the wheelchair up and down. The service in the restaurant was quick and courteous. The obligatory ouzo was plentiful. The food tasted good and it was easy to fill up. There's even an ice cream menu! The toilets, which my father fortunately didn't have to use, lead down a small step and are otherwise neither wheelchair nor walker accessible. The helpfulness of the staff makes up for a lot, but the rooms are not handicapped accessible.

We've been there for the second time now and it was really delicious again. Beforehand there is a delicious salad and an ouzo, and for children a children's schnapps. I find it really sweet. Our food arrived hot and everything was very tasty. The waiter was very attentive and kept checking on his guests. Prices are OK. Toilet is also clean. The only thing that bothered me a little was that I found it a bit cold in the restaurant, you could turn the heating up very slowly ;) We really enjoy going there and are very satisfied, thank you for a delicious evening.

Bright, friendly, inviting restaurant. Very well attended, satisfied guests, great atmosphere. Table reserved for the next day. Not as many guests as in the evening, staff very organized, not intrusive.

Unfortunately the food was terrible. There were several bone splinters in the Bifteki, you couldn't eat them! Gyros were very sinewy and unfortunately not edible. This time the service left a lot to be desired, we waited 35 minutes for the bill before we paid at the counter. When we mentioned that we were unfortunately not at all satisfied with the food, for the reasons mentioned above, this was politely ignored... We also decided not to have any leftover food packed. (The question could have been saved, because if it wasn't edible there, the home won't change...) It was our last visit there.

Addendum from August 31, 2024!!!!! Our experience... We spontaneously drove to the Deja restaurant on August 31, 2024 to pick up food. Unfortunately, we didn't order in advance because we thought that the restaurant had the situation under control in all situations and were very flexible. No sooner said than done, we can see that the restaurant was very full, which is completely fine, but then you have to wait longer for your food, which wasn't a problem for us with so many guests! We went to the counter and wanted to order, when someone called out to us, "Have you made a reservation?" We said no, then we said we would like to have food to take away, and they said straight away, without any sensitivity, "The kitchen has no reservations due to the whole thing Guests no longer have capacity and they are no longer taking orders, we're sorry, they have to leave or come back later" We said what time approximately.....?? The answer: "I can't say, maybe from 8:30 p.m."! We left the restaurant and thought about what to do... A short time later my wife returned to the restaurant and wanted to take advantage of the time for 8:30 p.m. The nice other waiter took the order and went into the kitchen, the boss came out again and said in a not so great tone and stressed, "There's nothing left to take away today" my wife thought to herself, what now? ? Well, my wife was promptly left behind (as a regular guest)! !!The whole thing isn't a problem for us at all with the full restaurant and the longer waiting times, that's just how it is when you want to eat out or bring food home!! What bothered us as regular guests in this restaurant was the interaction and the sensitivity for regular guests was completely missing. Of course, you can also scare away your regular customers! We personally find the entire behavior unusual for this restaurant and have gotten to know a new side, which is a shame. We would have liked to come back at a later date, no question about it and our understanding of the situation that day was very great, but the way we dealt with it is still very sad 😢!!!!!! Service and food were all great! Portions great! We'll be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Positive addendum on March 8, 2024 Called and pre-ordered for pickup at a specific time. Everything went very well and all special requests were implemented very well. The food was ready at the specified time and we were able to go straight home. Arrived home, unpacked quickly and there is nothing nicer when the food is still steaming when unpacked 🙂. Everything is packaged great 👍. We always like to come to the restaurant to eat or now also to take away... What sets DEJA apart is that the portions are very large and the price is right. Stay as you are and don't do it like the others, make more money and spend less. I think that I speak in a positive way for many visitors 🙂. Thanks also go to the kitchen staff who manage to conjure up such good food and decorate it beautifully on the plate. Top performance 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
