A very nice restaurant. Despite its open space, it's not too noisy. The ambiance is truly beautiful and modern, with a simple, yet unobtrusive feel. The staff was very attentive and friendly, yet not intrusive. The food arrived promptly and hot. It was very tasty, and the portions were perfectly adequate. The price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable.

Really delicious food, even though the plate of schnitzel and croquettes looked completely empty. We were there with our extended family, and everything went really well. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and the waitresses always came to check on us. We'll definitely be back!!!

We were guests with 14 people. We received a very friendly welcome. We were immediately asked if we wanted a drink. The restaurant is lovingly and attractively decorated. Plenty of space and a beautiful terrace. Most importantly, the food was excellent; it was a 10/10. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back.

Delicious food in a cozy, clean atmosphere – a great outdoor terrace in the back in summer. The service is always very friendly, and the senior chef personally comes out of the kitchen and makes the rounds of the restaurant to check if everything is okay and briefly greet guests. On my last visit, he showed me his vegetable garden in the back and gave me various herbs to pick from... 🤗 The food is plentiful, well-made, and attractively presented. There's a salad bar. Everything is excellent – we love coming back...

Very nice restaurant, good food, nice staff and good prices

We went there for dinner after a swim at the lake and were absolutely thrilled. Firstly, we managed to get a table for two very spontaneously. Without a reservation, of course. The food was truly delicious, and the rather hidden garden area with a fountain in the backyard created a truly outstanding ambiance. The price/performance ratio was also absolutely spot on. Perhaps for the future, I personally found the constant inquiries about whether we would like more drinks a bit annoying. But that doesn't change the fact that all the staff were very accommodating, very friendly, and incredibly polite. Therefore, I give it a full five stars overall.

We were here for the first time and were very excited. But we were also lucky that we got two seats without a reservation. But only because there was a festival in Heinsberg. The food, the ambience and especially the service were so convincing for us that we would like to come here again.

Visited on December 27, 2024. Minced meat stuffed with sheep's cheese. It tasted like the old frying fat had been used. Some baked/burnt traces. I didn't like the meat itself either. The companion had exactly the same dish and he enjoyed it, which was just good manners. In any case, the restaurant won't see us again. I was offered a free drink as compensation. How ironic and the accompanying person would probably have had to pay for one at their own expense. No, really, the meat (minced meat) was not okay, even though the restaurant is generally visited. That wasn't good. Personally, I have to assume that the minced meat was bought too much because of the holidays and not enough was sold. It was a really disgusting taste that came from the meat and grill. I can't explain it because the place always looks busy when you drive past it.

We've eaten there many times...so far it's been good...but unfortunately last time, 4 out of 6 people in our family didn't like it. The food was not very seasoned and some of the meat had a strange taste. Very unfortunate. I hope it will be better on the next visit.

We've been there a few times and the food and service have always been great. The boss personally still comes to make sure everything is okay. UNFORTUNATELY our favorite waiter is stopping working there😢 For us he was always the good soul of this restaurant.

Great Croatian gastronomy with a varied menu...fish and meat...everyone can find something delicious...the quality and taste are convincing...the salad conveniently comes from the buffet...so everyone can help themselves to their liking.. There's even a delicious Croatian Karlovacko as a beer...thus a successful alternative to Bitburger & Co., which is unfortunately present everywhere...the portion size and price are right...the service is very attentive, friendly and professional...the ambience is a nice mix of modernity and stylish flair... if you want to enjoy good cuisine from this country, you've come to the right place...😋👍

I think the atmosphere is pretty simple and cheap, but you can sit there very comfortably. The service is very nice and comes around regularly to see if everyone has something to drink, which I personally think is great. I think the food is really tasty, even if the portions are small for these prices.😩

We were celebrating my daughter's birthday in Croatia today. The food was great as always. The seat under the speakers was inconvenient because you had to talk very loudly. We ate well, despite the unusually inappropriate service from a young woman we hadn't seen there before. I went to pay at the counter. The bill was briefly displayed on the screen and I paid by card and gave the boss a 6 euro tip in cash. When I was at home I was called by the manager of Croatia and said there were still 19.80 euros outstanding which had been booked to another table due to a booking error. As a regular customer, I find something like that outrageous. I always pay my bills properly and don't let myself feel like I haven't paid my bill and then drive all those miles there again, etc If something like this happens to a company or waitress, they have to pay for it out of their own pocket. The whole thing is outrageous. Then I get a huge explanation that the tips will be pooled together and shared, etc. Then she will receive less or less until the damage has been paid. Otherwise you won't learn it. It's a shame, one less regular customer. Something like that really upsets me! I come from a hotel-restaurant myself and the person responsible has to bear the responsibility for such mistakes.

Very nice restaurant, staff friendly 👍. I had a robber plate, there was no sauce, I ordered pepper sauce with it,😃. What I personally don't like is when you go to a restaurant and get mayonnaise in a bag, it takes away from the ambience a bit, it seems to me like you're in the chip shop next door, but that's just my personal opinion. The toilets were clean and didn't have anything Smelled unpleasant, which is not a given. I can definitely recommend “Croatia” 👍.

Very nice service, a real family business where the guest is central. The food was great and portions were large enough, we sat on the back terrace overlooking the garden which was also very well maintained. Very tasty food, but unfortunately a very long waiting time. The guests around us arrived later, but were served their food much earlier. When asked: It's very crowded today! Otherwise a bit old-fashioned with its small niches, but we had a very tasty meal.

The food was ok. Unfortunately, the potatoes were too fatty, the sauce was a bit too salty for our taste and the quantities of all dishes (10) were rather too small. Small schnitzel, few fries or rice, etc. Still a nice restaurant with very good service and nice staff. The dessert (4 different ones) was great and the salad buffet was also great.

Wir waren das erste und das letzte mal dort. Das einzig positive war die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter. Bestellt hatten wir eine Platte für zwei Personen. Die darauf vorhandenen Fleischstücke rechtfertigten den ohnehin schon überhöhten Preis ( von 50 Euro ) nicht ! Dazu kommt noch das alles etwas zu salzlastig war. Bei einer Rechnung von fast 80 Euro fanden wir es auch befremdlich, dass man uns noch 0,30 Cent für eine kleine Styroporbox ( Mitnahme von einem „Löffel Reis“ den wir außerdem nicht mitnehmen wollten ) in Rechnung gestellt hat !

Not a real croatian restaurant. It's more like Greek, but without Giros. Lots of food, but the quality was nothing special.

Always delicious food. It was quite busy and they also indicated that the food took a little longer than normal. It was a Sunday so that's normal on this day.

Was not bad. Default. What didn't work out with the food at the beginning was made up for by the friendly service staff. The salad from the buffet was not well cleaned, bottle of water was served after asking twice. The cooking point of the steaks was wrong. But this was changed without any problems. I can't comment on the kitchen or toilet because I haven't visited them.

Unfortunately, I found my "scampi" to be rather small and 2 spoons of rice with tomato sauce didn't justify the price charged for me. Everyone else was happy with their meat portions. But everyone came to eat at the same time, which is not a given with such a large group, so I applaud that.
