I'd say it was mediocre. The buffet is plentiful, but everything tastes pretty much the same.

I really enjoy eating here. It's very noisy in the main room and the conservatory, but there are also quiet corners.

We were there with a group, and although drinks were included in the price, the server was immediately on hand whenever a glass was empty and brought new ones. Which isn't always the case elsewhere. The food was always plentiful and delicious. It was constantly replenished. The value for money was satisfactory. The service was simply excellent and incredibly friendly despite the pre-Christmas rush and a full house.

Update: Our favorite Chinese restaurant has declined in quality and customer service. On top of that, the prices have increased. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. We last visited during the week in the evening. For two people, the buffet including soft drinks cost €56. The freshly prepared fish unfortunately seemed stringy and no longer fresh. The fries were awful. The coffee machine wasn't working, and unfortunately, our table wasn't cleared. They no longer have Coca-Cola. The slushie machine was out of order. And sadly, they no longer offer cakes or donuts. The noise level took some getting used to. It was busy, but sadly, it's not what we're used to. The whole family agrees. All the best!

The undisputed number 1 in the area for many years. A large, delicious selection, top-notch service. With the drinks package, you can fill up here for under €30 and have a lovely evening. We're now even allowed to bring our dog (in the small conservatory), which I think is really great! I've seen it differently at many other Chinese restaurants.

The China Garden has been around for about 40 years. The food selection has always been excellent, so it makes sense to make reservations on weekends. I celebrated my 50th and 60th birthdays there and recently attended my best friend's 60th. We have never been disappointed, so we'd go back anytime.

We had lunch with 15 people on July 26, 2025. The food was good and everyone enjoyed it. However, a price increase of more than 10% is unacceptable!

The fish, which could have been grilled, was anything but fresh. I sent the food back. The smell made my stomach turn. Otherwise, the buffet is very limited and the taste isn't impressive. It used to be much better.

Disappointing visit – culinary and atmospheric far below average Unfortunately, our visit to this Chinese restaurant was disappointing in several respects. The dishes seemed carelessly prepared, and the flavor was extremely monotonous – much of it tasted almost identical, regardless of the actual ingredient or sauce. Spices and culinary refinement are nowhere to be found here. The guests next to us, even though we were sitting outside, were smoking while we were eating. At €28 per person including a drink, the buffet is priced at a level that is in no way justified by the quality. The concept is clearly aimed primarily at guests who overfill their plates, rather than those who value taste or culinary culture. This is unfortunately also reflected in the clientele, who – it seems – value quantity over quality. The friendly staff and the overall cleanliness of the dining area are positive aspects. However, these aspects cannot disguise the disappointing culinary experience. Given the many positive reviews, I find it hard to understand the enthusiasm. Unfortunately, this restaurant isn't for lovers of Chinese cuisine who expect more than just a satisfying meal.

We'd heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and finally decided to eat there. To cut a long story short: All-you-can-eat buffet The service and ambiance were impeccable. Great tables and very high-quality restrooms. I quickly became bored and disappointed with the food itself. I found the meat dishes and sauces to be all similar to the same. There was hardly any difference to taste. The supposedly spicy sauces were disappointing and, like almost all the other sauces, extremely sweet. I found the price level to be significantly inflated. I've had significantly better food for significantly less in similar restaurants with the same system. You can go once, but you don't have to, and you won't miss anything.

We've been going there forever. Well, so far only for the Saturday buffet. If you want delicious Asian food, we absolutely love going there.

You used to be able to eat really well here, but That has declined. The waitress is rude and unpleasant. Lunch has become much more expensive, €18 per person. The food is no longer tasty and some of it looks unintelligible. The food is no longer worth €5.

So I don't advise anyone to eat a hole like that. No choice, the main thing is that the customers sit down and then the cash is collected and you don't even see the end of the song. Update: as regular customers we are mostly satisfied with the service. Only the slightly older waitress with short hair (wig) and glasses was always very unfriendly and she always treated the guests rudely. Really great value for money, the Mongolian grill is the best in the region so far. The ingredients tasted fresh and there were some very authentic dishes that you don't get in every standard buffet.

Lunch buffet with flat drinks chosen. €16.50 per person is a great price if you like quantity instead of class. The Peking soup was excellent. But it was also the only food that was warm. The rest is almost all cold. The rice pot was disgusting because the rubber seal was black all around. The dessert corner was not visually appealing at all. Pudding, jelly in metal containers, a no-go. The ice cream machine only dispensed semi-solid vanilla ice cream, without the promised topping sauce. The service was very friendly, the toilet was clean. The guest room itself hadn't been dusted for a long time. There is a lot of room for improvement in many areas. We won't be coming back.

After calling, we went to the restaurant for the buffet shortly after 8 p.m. today - the selection seemed as usual, but had already been cleared away - they assured us that everything could be recooked. The dishes themselves didn't taste bad, but the sauces were very thick and oily. The soft ice cream machine recommended to us didn't work, slush ice cream was refilled from 8:30 p.m. and was therefore not available. At 8:45 p.m. we were asked to say whether we would like a Mongolian buffet and if so, directly. A little later the same question for the normal buffet and all the cutlery and plates were put away - there were employees tidying up and cleaning the whole time so it became really uncomfortable overall. When I asked when paying, they said they wouldn't clean up until 10 o'clock... yeah, yeah, and the technician for the soft ice cream had also been appointed. So full price - unfortunately 2 out of 6 still had diarrhea from the food... that was nothing!!

On March 1st, 2025, I and my companion reserved a table for 6:00 p.m. It was already very crowded when we arrived, which spoiled the first impression. We were assigned a table in the winter garden, which was right at the entrance. Unfortunately it was very cold and uncomfortable there. The garden chairs without cushions added to the uncomfortable atmosphere and the overall ambience was uninviting. The buffet was overcrowded, so we had to wait in line for almost 10 minutes to be able to eat anything. It seemed like it was more about quantity than quality. When we finally had our food on the plate, we discovered that the spring rolls were cold, the sushi rice was hard and the meat was no longer warm. The entire meal was simply not tasty. We thought we'd give it another chance and go get another plate. But the line was so long that we probably would have stood there for another 10-15 minutes. After about 30 minutes we decided to leave the restaurant. We paid €52, but the employee who initially greeted us showed no interest in our experience and didn't even ask why we were leaving after such a short time or whether we enjoyed the food. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the positive reviews and will not visit this restaurant again. We were very disappointed by the quality of the food and the unpleasant atmosphere.

After 15 years my husband wanted to eat at your place, he often went there as a child and teenager and it is still as good as it was 15 years ago. We were there on Saturday around 6:30 p.m., my husband and I, and we didn't make a reservation. Nevertheless, we were lucky and got a table. Service and food is great. We chose the buffet with the drinks flat rate and I can only recommend it. Buffet and drinks are refilled all the time. It was full but you could go anywhere. Employees are super friendly and helpful. We will come again and we will recommend it to others. Thanks for the great evening 👍

Always good and has been for years

It's unbelievable how full the restaurant is around 7 p.m. Apparently there was no free space and yet there was no queue for the ready meals, the raw food, the drinks or the soft ice cream machine. It tastes great and there is something for all tastes. The kangaroo meat and shrimp are my favorites.

Unfortunately I have to revise my rating from last year. We have always enjoyed being here often and very much. We had noticed for a while that the nice, cozy atmosphere was partially lost due to the buffet, but it hadn't bothered us until now. Now we were there again on a Sunday afternoon. You now have to book a buffet with drinks. We were there in the middle of "happy hour" but were not allowed to book it because "you can't do it in that time anyway." OK. I actually only wanted a glass of wine with my meal, so I had to book WITH alcoholic drinks. OK. Then got a very small wine glass with a sip of wine. I only managed to reorder once because the waitress was barely visible. In the meantime, canteen flair. A single jostling and jostling at the buffet and it was very, very loud. Totally uncomfortable. The food was lukewarm and often looked like finished products. Too bad. At the Mongolian buffet I made a mistake and put a spoonful of sauce on the meat, fish and vegetables that were being fried. The lady at the grill was impatient and washed the raw food under the tap. I found that quite unhygienic. Conclusion: Far too expensive, uncomfortable atmosphere, greatly reduced quality and no good service. It's a shame but we won't be coming back and can't recommend it anymore, on the contrary. Great selection, dishes at the buffet are always hot and well stocked despite the high number of visitors. Quality and taste are top. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Everything is very clean. Clear recommendation!
