Beautiful, stylish restaurant with a beer garden. Very tasty Mediterranean cuisine. The vegetables are freshly prepared, the meat is cooked to perfection. Menu very varied. The dishes are very expensive but match the ambience and quality Food.

A piece of Greece on the banks of the Neckar – CAVOS is a pleasure! Cavos is Greek cuisine at its best! This restaurant transports me to the wonderful aromas and flavors of Greece every time. The dishes are authentic and full of Mediterranean freshness - from spicy souvlaki to creamy tzatziki to perfectly grilled fish. The ingredients taste fresh, the spices harmonize and invite you to immerse yourself in the different worlds of taste again and again. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, just as you would expect from a Greek taverna, and the service is always attentive and warm. Particularly nice: As befits a southern restaurant, children are more than welcome here and are served extremely friendly and quickly. The team ensures that the whole family feels comfortable. Eating at Cavos feels like a Mediterranean getaway. It's not just a simple meal - it's a little time out, an experience for the senses. Simply wonderful and absolutely recommended for anyone who loves Greek cuisine!

I've been to Cavos three times now, and on each visit there was an extreme shortage of staff (on weekends). The employees are friendly but always overwhelmed and hectic, which also makes a guest nervous. Secondly, there were always very long waiting times, 1 hour for the starters, for example. So I wouldn't recommend going there on busy days because that might spoil your mood a bit. Atmosphere and location top, chic, modern, stylish. The food isn't bad, but it's not an experience or anything special. The fish platter, for example, is described much more generously than it is. I wouldn't go there just to eat anymore, but for the nice atmosphere or to celebrate something special, the location is definitely one of the most beautiful in the region. It's a shame that this personnel problem still hasn't been resolved.

I haven't experienced such an extraordinary dish for a long time. Although I enjoy traveling to Greece or visiting Greek restaurants and am always satisfied, your restaurant far exceeded my expectations. I was particularly impressed by the combination of creative presentation, intense flavor explosions and the luxurious ambience. Their cuisine is characterized by a unique quality that, in my opinion, even deserves a Michelin star. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the unforgettable evening!

Ambiente: Ein sehr tolles Ambiente das fühlt sich richtig nach GR an. Dafür würde ich volle Punktzahl geben. Service: Sehr schlechter Service, macht einen gelangweilten, uninspirierten, überforderten und unfreundlichen Eindruck. Vom hinsetzen bis hin zu den Getränken erhalten sage und schreibe 40 Minuten gedauert. Restaurant nurbzu 1/3 belegt. Komme selbst aus einer Gastrofamilie und kann sehr gut einschätzen ob es gerechtfertigt ist oder nicht so eine lange Wartezeit! Schlechte Koordination. Essen: Für mich als Grieche sind die Vorspeisen unverschämt teuer. Vorallem wenn 80% der Vorspeisen fertiggerichte sind, wie man sie in jedem griechischen Supermarkt im Kühlregal findet! Nicht mal das Zaziki war selbst gemacht! Von Schsfskäse- oder Auberginencreme ganz zu schweigen. Und für ein paar fritierte Scheiben Zuchinni oder Auberginen soviel Geld zu verlangen ist fast kriminell. An den Hauptgerichte n gibt es nichts auszusetzen, Rumpsteak Medium und Lendendpieß sehr gut gegrillt und auch lecker geschmeckt. Nachspeise hatten wir keine deswegen keine Rezesion darüber. Rechnung: Nach verlangen der Rechnung, musste ich die Servicekräfte 4x daufhinweisen das ich bezahlen möchte. Wie schon sehr viele bemängelt haben, nur Bargeld. In der heutigen Zeit ein nogo. Fazit! : Ein Besuch ist allemal wert, beim Essen dss Preis- Leistungverhältnis ist zu korrigieren, vorallem bei den Vorspeisen.

The food is really the finest. We got there early and were lucky enough to get our food relatively quickly. Meat and fish in first class quality and really recommended. However, at an advanced hour and a full house, there was no longer any service. No espresso, no dessert, just annoyed waiters. The highlight, as always, is paying. Cash terminal has been broken for three days and the bill doesn't work because the printer is broken. And that sweet grin all over his face. That's pretty bold. I was insulted in Greek by the employee and was scummed

Manchmal ist man wirklich fassungslos, wenn man heutzutage auf eine Speise/Getränkekarte schaut ! Für einen „stinknormalen“ Hähnchenspieß mit einem Klecks Tzatziki, einem Beilagensalat der von einer pampigen Fertigdressing bedeckt ist + ein paar Fritteusen - Kartoffeln , € 24,- zu verlangen, finde ich ehrlich gesagt dreist!!! Eine Rieslingschorle 0,4 l für € 7,- ist auch mehr als „daneben“. Für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, dass dieses Restaurant läuft … Wenn, dann gibt es nur eine Erklärung dafür - die Lage und das Ambiente ist Top 👍🏻 Ich werde allerdings definitiv nicht mehr dort hingehen!!!

Das Ambiente und die Terrasse am Neckar sind toll. Das Essen ist etwas teurer, aber sehr gut. Nur der Service ist bescheiden. 40min. bis die erste Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Brotnachbestellung kam nie. Insgesamt dauerte das Essen 3 Stunden für 2 Gänge, obwohl am späteren Abend nicht mehr so viele Gäste da waren, es wurde weder flotter noch aufmerksamer.

Good food, prices are high, the tzatziki is a must. The music is not my taste, it doesn't suit this type of restaurant at all. Wonderful view of the Neckar and Odenwald. Be sure to reserve.

Everything went very well, it was very cozy and tasty.

We stayed at Cavos with 2 families after a trip. The food was actually excellent, no matter which one, but the service was really bad. That day the restaurant wasn't full either inside or outside. We waited 15 minutes for the drinks, then the food order was only taken 20 minutes after the drinks and we waited a full 40 minutes for our food after ordering. As soon as we were eating we wanted the bill and waited for 40 minutes, then we got up and went into the restaurant to pay. Since we were on the trip I didn't have enough cash with me and wanted to pay by card. However, I was refused because the device was supposedly defective and they told us so. That's not true, it was clearly a lie. After this experience, I told friends about it and was told that card payments had never been possible there. The waiting times and being lied to are not possible at all. That's why this review!!!

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. The service could be a little more attentive, we were sometimes forgotten. There is a lot of smoking outside, which is quite unpleasant for non-smokers.

We had dinner here again today in wonderful summer weather. It was very good. The service is good, the price-performance ratio is very good. The meal was a delight. Starters: Mixed starter plate and shrimp skewers. Main course: fish variations. Everything is freshly seasoned and seasoned and beautifully presented. Absolutely recommended.

We've been to Cavos Restaurant a few times now. Food and service are always good and there is a very nice terrace to sit on. After our last visit, now over a year later, I would like to see a little more variety in the menu. More vegetarian dishes and maybe a few not so oily dishes.

Die Terrasse ist ganz ok, der Blick auf den Neckar und die Berge ist schön anzusehen. Das Essen ist qualitativ gut, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants in dieser Klasse überteuert. Der Service ist freundlich aber unstrukturiert. Auf ein Bier über 30 Minuten zu warten, ist schon heftig. Kinderportionen für Erwachsene sind nicht möglich. Ergo, kein Umsatz. Kartenzahlung ist wohl gar nicht möglich, was nicht zeitgemäß ist. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es kostenlos, jedoch sehr schnell voll. Für uns bleibt es eine einmalige Angelegenheit.

Very nicely furnished restaurant, especially if you can take a look at the Bergstrasse and the Neckar in the garden or in the restaurant. The dishes on offer are all very tasty. I recommend eating your fill of the small mezes. Everyone orders 2-3 of these dishes and shares them with their companions. It couldn't be more authentic. And in terms of price, everything remains in an excellent price/performance ratio. You have to bring some time. The service is very attentive, but the distances from the kitchen to the outdoor seating are long. It's better to order drinks a little earlier. We will be back.

The taste of the food was good but not outstanding and therefore the prices are not appropriate in our opinion. Since there is unfortunately no menu online, we were very surprised by the high prices (main courses from 19 euros, more like mid to late 20 euros). Nice atmosphere, but very loud inside. Service was nice, the busier it got, the worse the attention and questions about drink requests, etc. became. When paying we were informed that the card machine had just stopped working. Of course difficult with a total bill of 325 euros. At least it was a nice gesture: there was a digestive on the house. Overall we wouldn't come again.

Das Essen war gut, aber überteuert. Die Bezahlung kann nur bar erfolgen, da das Kartenlesegerät angeblich nicht funktioniert. Das kann vorkommen, ist im Cavos aber anscheinend eine Masche. Wir haben im Bekanntenkreis gehört, dass das Kartenlesegerät nie funktioniert, man sich immer herausredet. Das wird wohl seine tieferen Gründe haben, über die ich nicht spekulieren möchte. Im schlimmsten Fall wird man - so geschehen - zur nächsten Bank geschickt, falls man nicht genügend Bargeld hat. Man sollte bei der Reservierung nachfragen, obe Kartenzahlung möglich ist und dann aber auch darauf bestehen.

If you do not mind waiting 1 hour 30 minutes for your food it is fine. At least view is nice and food eventually was delivered , therefore 3 starts for now. Maybe was just unlucky. Will try to check them again. Update 2 stars now because they tried to cheat us so we pay more then it costs , also not sure they pay taxes

Very nice atmosphere directly on the Neckar. The terrace is really cozy and inviting in summer. The food tastes very good, but the prices are a bit too high, especially for the main courses. The service has deteriorated somewhat compared to before. For several years now there has been no option to pay by card and only cash payments are accepted. The explanation for this is that the device is just defective. Very strange since this has been the case for probably 6-7 years now Being able to only pay in cash these days is a complete mystery to me.

Als erstes, eine superschöne Terrasse!!!! Man sitzt am Neckar, traumhaft. Essensqualität ist gut, leider mittlerweile auch höhere Preise.Dafür erwarte ich aber mehr. Sehr enttäuschend ist der Service, egal ob es voll ist oder nicht. Man sitzt lange bis man überhaupt wahrgenommen wird und eine Karte bekommt, habe schön öfters gesehen, dass Gäste deswegen wieder gegangen sind. Keine Nachfrage ob noch ein Dessert gewünscht wird, oder Espresso, einfach kaum Kontakt zum Kellner und wenn man bezahlen möchte, sitzt man wieder und wartet. Der Ouzo, wenn man mit Vorspeise isst, gehört für mich mit dazu. Das ist uns leider schon mehrmals passiert. Wir kommen nicht wieder.Sehr schade. LG

Good food, beautiful location, BUT substandard service that is sometimes unfriendly and almost always absolutely inattentive. I tried to establish contact for 20 minutes and ordered a drink. Everything takes forever here and everyone is overwhelmed. Pay, order, ask, dessert... Come back again and again and so far every time. A card terminal would also be a sensible purchase...

It was very tasty and we found the portions to be quite large. It is very modernly furnished. I was prepared for a wait based on the other reviews, but the food came super quickly and the employees were all very friendly.

Wir waren hier zum 2. Mal, da wir die Location und auch Essen sehr lecker finden. Das ist auch immer noch so. Allerdings als wir kamen, hing ein Schild mit „keine Kartenzahlung“. Ok, dachten wir uns. Gehen wir nach dem Essen eine Runde spazieren zum Geldautomaten. Sowas kann ja passieren. Leider war der Automat außer Betrieb. Also sind wir zum nächsten, der auch wieder außer Betrieb war. Wir sprachen dann den Kellner an, ob wir mit Paypal oder Überweisung bezahlen können. Alles nicht möglich nur bar. Als ich Kritik äußerten, dass es doch für so Fälle einen Plan B geben muss, wurde ich darauf hingewiesen doch bitte ihn zu siezen. Sorry, alles und jeder hat uns von Anfang an geduzt und wenn Kritik geübt wird, sind wir beim Sie??? Das nennt man mal kritikfähig. Eine andere Bedienung sagte uns, dass das Gerät öfter außer Betrieb ist. Dann wäre erst Recht Plan B angebracht, oder? Das ist nicht gastfreundlich. Wir haben dann Geld bei einer Fremdbank abheben müssen. Leider waren wir bei unserem eigentlich gemütlich geplanten Familienabend immer wieder jemand weg, wegen des Geldes. Das war nicht schön. Als kleinen Trost bekamen wir dann einen Nachtisch. Wie gesagt, das Essen ist lecker, nicht so ein typischer Grieche, was wir toll finden… aber der fehlende Plan B und das Hinweisen auf siezen war ein absolutes Nogo! Es wäre schön, wenn wieder einmal das ec-Gerät nicht geht, ihr eine Alternative anbieten könntet. So bleibt der Abend auch gemütlich.

The ambience in Cavos was very nice and the food was delicious. However, I thought it was a shame that I wasn't full despite the starter and dessert. The main course was a very tasty typical Greek grill plate for around 30-35 euros. Unfortunately the portion was too small for me. I would describe myself as an average man (<100 kg) without a physically demanding job or strenuous hobbies (e.g. bodybuilding). A pity! Unfortunately, the service also decreased over the evening. In the beginning, we were regularly asked when our mouths were full whether we needed anything else or whether everything was okay. Towards the end the restaurant was full and it was difficult to order dessert and other drinks. I expect more in this price range. Overall I don't want to badmouth the restaurant, it was really good, but I'd rather try another Greek restaurant next time.

The food was good, but in my opinion it has nothing to do with fine dining. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Although there were plenty of waiters there, you had to ask for the menu dozens of times, and the espresso only came after you asked again. Mittlerweile ist es sehr groß geworden und entsprechend viel Kundenumsatz. Die Qualität der Speisen hat nachgelassen, im Innenraum ist es einfach nur sehr laut, ordentlich Wartezeit, im Sommer ist die Bedienung teils überfordert und mäßig freundlich. Seltsam war, die letzten beiden Male im letzten Jahr haben wir jeweils zu unseren Ungunsten nicht korrekte Rechnungen bekommen. Empfehle den Rechnungsbetrag nachzurechnen, Stoßzeiten meiden.

Would have been excellent... Forgot 2 of 4 drinks on first order. Came only after the food was almost ready. Then the wheat comes with alcohol instead of without. Second drink order the wheat comes again with alcohol. When I complained again I was asked how I could know that it was alcoholic??? We had tried it. In addition, we couldn't take the drink straight away from the bar, but had to wait another 5 minutes until the waiter had time to bring it. He was very nice and apparently it wasn't his fault. The store was fully booked and the staff were running wild.

A really nice, modern restaurant. The service was friendly and quick. The restaurant was very busy and therefore the noise level was a bit high. The food was excellent. As a little surprise at the end there was an ouzo and a small dessert on the house. We We'll definitely be back and would like to enjoy the beautiful terrace and be pampered with culinary delights. Delicious, price/performance ratio is right

The restaurant is large and has a modern look. There are either small dishes (mezze) or plate meals. I had Fritto Misto. I don't think the fries were good, there was also (pasta?) rice with tomato sauce similar to Djuvec rice, but unfortunately it was nothing. Baby calamari was good, shrimp too. Garlic sauce is ok too. Service was somewhat overwhelmed, but always friendly. Interesting selection of drinks, including cocktails.

Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal und schöne Location direkt am Neckar. Ich hatte das "Pfännchen1987", kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Preise gehen in Ordnung. Großer Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Fazit: gerne wieder, auf jeden Fall mal im Sommer draußen.

Außergewöhnlich leckeres Essen in sehr schöner Atmosphäre. Die gegrillten Calamares waren einfach super. Tolle Terrasse mit Blick auf den Neckar.

Die Beleuchtung im Wintergarten war so dürftig, daß man nur schwer die Speisekarte lesen konnte. Auch sollte das Restaurant was in Sachen akustik machen, denn es war sehr laut im Lokal und Pflanzen fehlten.

Eigentlich 4,5 Sterne, aber die kann man ja leider nicht geben. Der Service ist nett, schnell, freundlich, höflich und sehr aufmerksam. 5 Punkte. Das Ambiente top, die Atmosphäre toll. 5 Punkte. Aperitif, Vor- und Hauptspeisen mit den passenden Weinen richtig, richtig gut... sagen wir klasse. Wieder 5 Punkte. Warum dann keine volle Punktzahl? Ganz einfach, in der heutigen Zeit erwarte ich das man auch mit Karte, mindesten mit der EC Karte zahlen kann. Hier möchte ich einfach einen halben Stern abziehen. UPDATE vom 30.10.23 Alles noch wie oben beschrieben. Ich möchte noch dem tollen Aussenbereich erwähnen. Wir saßen zwar drin, aber es sah sehr schön aus.
