Wir haben heute Abend eine wunderschöne Zeit im Restaurant Sparta verbracht. Wir waren im Rahmen einer Familien Feier eingeladen. Wir wurden alle SEHR gut versorgt. Für die Mitarbeiter in der Küche: DANKESCHÖN 🌹 Für die lieben Service Kräfte: Ihr habt eine sehr schöne und charmante Art auf der man Euch Begegnen kann. 🥰 Das ist ein Wohlfühl Faktor 😘 Weiterhin viel Erfolg 🌸🍀🌸

Bei bestem Wetter lecker auf der Terrasse gegessen: - Reservierung ohne Probleme - Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt - Service war gut - Essen sehr lecker und die Portionen ausreichend die Speisen (kalte Vorspeisenplatte, gefülltes Bifteki und überbackenes Gyros mit Metaxasauce) hätten auch gut für drei Personen gereicht; Salat vom Büfett darf nicht vergessen werden Fazit: gerne wieder

Ich habe am Abend ein Restaurant gesucht, um nicht im Zelt kochen zu müssen 🙂 Dieses Restaurant war um die Ecke zu Fuß erreichbar. Es war sehr schön da. Das Essen war lecker und der Service erstklassig und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit 10 Personen. Alle haben zur gleichen Zeit ihren Teller bekommen. Es hat allen geschmeckt und es war reichlich. 👍 Toll wäre es, wenn das Restaurant auch sogenannte Seniorenteller anbieten würden. Aber man es sich ja auch einpacken lassen. 😉

Hähnchenbrustfilet vom Grill und Nudelpfanne waren sehr lecker. Das Fleisch war saftig, gut gegart. Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 4 per Mail reserviert und konnten auch schon 10 Minuten verfrüht sofort Platz nehmen. Der Service war sehr gut, sowohl zügig als auch freundlich. Das Essen war unserer Meinung nach wirklich gut, vor allem das Salatbuffet zur Selbstbedienung war für unseren Geschmack toll, mit Bohnensalat, rotem und weißem Kraut, roter Beete, Brokkoli und mehr. Wir werden sicher wieder im Sparta einkehren.

Gute griechische Küche! Da ich beruflich sehr viel unterwegs bin, dadurch kennt man den Unterschied zwischen gut und geht Danke für den netten und freundlichen empfangen

Eine Übernachtung mit Frühstücksbuffet . Sauber und mit Griechischen Style eingerichtet. Genug Platz für zwei . Ruhig . Dusche ist schön und geräumig genug. Terrasse im Sommer bestimmt gut zu nutzen. Durch Sichtschutzwände abgetrennt von den anderen Terrassen. Frühstück Buffet , preislich sehr gut. Gute Auswahl und immer wurde ausreichend nachgefüllt sauber und ansprechend. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Eine volle Empfehlung. Das Essen war von hoher Qualität, sehr lecker zubereitet und mengenmäßig genau richtig. Nicht zuviel un nicht zu wenig. Immer wieder gerne. Preislich auch echt Top.

I recently ate at Sparta Essen and was unfortunately a bit disappointed. The food wasn't particularly tasty, and I didn't think it was good value for money. The quality of the ingredients didn't seem very high, and the dishes weren't particularly well prepared. Given the price, I would have expected more. Overall, it wasn't a very satisfying dining experience. It was my first and last time here.

Super lecker, sehr nette Bedienung und ein tolles Ambiente. Das Fleisch ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig und mit Verstand zubereitet. Wie eigentlich alles andere auch. Ausnahmslos zu empfehlen.

We picked up food today, and after a rather unfriendly phone call, the man in the restaurant was very friendly... Unfortunately, the food wasn't edible – the meat was very dry and the coleslaw tasted like cleaning product. The tomato rice was actually good – but that doesn't make it any better. We've picked up food many times, but I've never experienced anything like this. It's a shame.

The service and atmosphere were great. The gyro could have been crispier for my taste; it was more like boiled meat. It tasted good.

Lovely Greek restaurant We had dinner here...a Sparta platter for two was a real challenge in terms of quantity...it tasted delicious and was super freshly prepared...there was also a salad buffet where you could create your own, which was also super fresh and delicious...well located, with plenty of parking...sitting outside was no problem...the price/performance ratio is still good here...so definitely highly recommended...

Great Greek restaurant. The food is truly delicious. The service is always friendly and good! A lovely atmosphere, especially outside in the summer. The extensive salad bar offers a constantly changing selection of starters. For me, this is my absolute favorite Greek restaurant!

We recently went to the Sparta restaurant with several people, and the experience was absolutely disappointing. Two members of our group received burnt food, which we were only able to replace after a long discussion with the waitress. My own burnt food was ignored. The portions were tiny and the prices were unreasonably high. The salad buffet was a farce—barely varied and poorly presented. We definitely won't be returning. The restaurant urgently needs to rethink its food and service. *Stars*. 1/5

Super friendly family who put their heart and joy into their work! Food always tastes great, special requests are never a problem and the atmosphere is great! We come by regularly and have never been disappointed!

Went to Sparta again yesterday after 1.5 years. My food was served warm to cold, when I complained about it he asked me if he could warm it up in the microwave, I said no, 2 minutes later he brought the same food which had probably been warmed up in the microwave. The lamb chops were full of fat and therefore didn't taste good. The gyros tasted like it was made from roast pork. Our friends had gyros that never came off the spit. It was very thick and still raw. Just disgusting. Never again ☹️

Was there for the second time because it was really good the first time. Unfortunately, the impression could not be confirmed. The young waiter was more annoyed than friendly, the gyros had thick pieces of fat and the "salad buffet" didn't deserve the name, because you can't speak of a real selection here.

We went shopping in the wholesale market in the evening and on the way back Sparta laughed at us and we decided to stop at the spur of the moment. We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful ambience hidden inside.💡 The food was of excellent quality, hot, quick and appetizingly prepared. Vegetables and meat prepared to perfection.👌 Very nice and attentive staff. Small, attractive salad buffet to choose from yourself. Hotel, parking spaces and even a covered outdoor terrace. Sorry, but the food wasn't commensurate with the price. Somehow it just tasted plain and simple. It was our first time there and probably the last time for a long time. No soap and no towels in the toilet, which also looked very unkempt. There was also no disinfectant available.

Parking situation is good, ambience is pleasant and smoking area is separated, so nice in itself. The food was “okay”, a meal was served cold and warmed up again upon request. The rice in tomato sauce tastes very flat, suflaki had to be worked on to avoid burnt spots. Prices are high, I wanted to replace the liver on the Sparta plate with a piece of lamb fillet, this 30g piece of fillet ended up costing €8, the drinks are also more expensive in comparison, just like the starters. In conclusion for the price I wouldn't go there again.

We spontaneously decided to visit Sparta and got a table without a reservation. At the beginning the staff was very friendly, we were given the menu straight away and our order was taken shortly afterwards. The drinks came quickly, but unfortunately no one told us about the salad bar, so we just stayed seated and waited for the food. As you probably know from Greek cuisine, there is always tzatziki, but not here, they charge extra for it, which surprised us a lot. When we finished eating and wanted to pay, it took us 45 minutes!!!!!! have to wait for the bill! We spoke to several waiters and everyone told us that only the boss took the money. The other guests around us also wanted to pay, some of them did so straight away, others had to wait a long time and we had to be patient for a moment. I don't know we were just unlucky or if this is normal. Just FYI…… After waiting for at least 30 minutes, you can leave the restaurant without paying immediately. Under one condition: you must have unsuccessfully asked the waiter to bring the bill three times beforehand, under witnesses. “It’s probably not reasonable to wait any longer here,” says Steimle.

We were hotel guests in transit. The hotel room gets 5 stars. Unfortunately not the restaurant. Gyros was very dry and hard. The fries tasted a bit rancid. Saganaki was ok. Grilled salmon with vegetables floated in oil to a depth of 2 cm. The butter rice tasted like nothing. The salad from the buffet consisted of red and white cabbage, iceberg lettuce, pasta with mayonnaise and potatoes with mayo, rice. It all looked like leftovers with salad mayonnaise. It's sustainable, but it doesn't really have anything to do with a salad buffet. There would be a lot of room for improvement with a few fresh ingredients. The service was friendly. I wouldn't want to eat there again...

Cozy, familiar. Delicious food, good service and good value for money. A highlight for me is that, in addition to a coffee machine, there is also filter coffee for breakfast.

I thought I'd rate it even though I'm still sitting in the restaurant. Guys, I've never eaten such an amazing gyro! Top seasoned and super juicy. It's the same with the Bifteki. This calls for repetition.

Affordable, friendly staff and reasonable rooms for the price including a small garden. We were even allowed to charge our car for free. The breakfast for 9.50 EU was also nicely decorated. All in all we had a great stay. Recommended as a stopover! The only point of criticism is quite a few dust piles and spiders/cobwebs in the room.

I'm not an enthusiastic meat eater, I liked it: even when the skewer got colder, the meat was still tender, the bifteki were super tasty, the tzatziki were really tasty, but in my opinion they cost €7.50 (or €6.50? ) quite expensive (yoghurt and cucumber)... Ouzo on the house, no awkward fiddling around with changes, prefer liver instead of chicken - overall good!

Service, food and ambience... perfect!

We came here looking for a Greek restaurant based on the reviews. Anticipating we were not disappointed. The menu is balanced and offers everything you would expect from a “Greek”. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable for today's prices. Basically, the location on the main street may not be perfect for some people. For us, sitting outside in the front row, it wasn't a problem. We will definitely come back because of the good overall package.

Well-attended Greek restaurant in the Wiefelsteder district of Metjendorf, near the city limits of Oldenburg. The food tastes good and the atmosphere is nice too. Tables a little close together. On Sundays you can indulge in a breakfast brunch with Greek dishes; there is now even a hotel in the neighboring building. There are enough parking spaces available.

Nice restaurant with delicious food. We wanted to use the barometer. Unfortunately the menu is very misleading. The barometer can only be used for the recommendations in the menu. The recommended dishes are grossly overpriced, so you end up saving nothing. We paid a lot of money for the barometer, so it should be possible to save money when using the barometer.

The restaurant is located a little outside but is still very easy to reach by car or public transport. The staff is friendly and very helpful. As the name suggests, it is reminiscent of Greece. The food, especially the meat, was very tasty.

The Sparta is our regular restaurant. Celebrated my 60th today. The dishes are great. The staff is also very friendly.

Naja heute mal bestellt, sei es verziehen, ungesalzene Pommes und ein geschmackloses essen,dazu habe ich zum ersten Mal soviel Speck beim Gyros gehabt der nicht zu genießen war. Leider auch sehr teuer geworden. Das Essen war sein Geld nicht wert. Sorry aber jetzt einen Stammkunden weniger.

Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen. Wir konnten sogar unseren Hund mitnehmen. Vor dem Hauptgericht kann man sich selber einen Salat zusammen stellen. Wir hatten die Rhodosplatte für zwei Personen. Super lecker, mit unterschiedlichen Fleischsorten. Aufmerksames Personal, welches dezent guckt ob noch etwas gewünscht wird. Unser neues Lieblingsrestaurant auch wenn wir dafür weiter fahren müssen. Es lohnt sich.

Essen ist ok, Atmosphäre auch. Trotzdem fühlt sich ein Besuch hier nicht so herzlich an wie bei anderen Griechen in der Umgebung. Vor dem Umbau war die nette Terrasse im Sommer sehr entspannend, mit der merkwürdigen klotzigen Überdachung ist die Terrasse für uns ungemütlich geworden und auch Essen und Atmosphäre schaffen es nicht mehr, uns zum Besuch zu überreden. PS wer mit Barometer kommt, fühlt sich wie nicht erwünscht und das, obwohl die Preise dem Barometer angepasst sind.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne ins Sparta. Es schmeckt uns. Egal was wir bisher an Speisen ausgewählt hatten.

Hübsch eingerichtetes Restaurant, reichhaltige Portionen. Essen schmackhaft und vielfältig. Bedienung aufmerksam und zügig. Salatbar etwas langweilig. Werde wieder kommen.

Ben hier nu zeker 5 keer geweest. Ik heb hier zowel 5x gegeten en geslapen! En ik moet u eerlijk bekennen dat het het enige hotel in Oldenburg is met een kwaliteit boven de prijs! Restaurant zit in het midden kwa prijs. Het eten is goed! En altijd gelijk. Uitgebreide kaart maar het smaakt altijd vers! Bel ze op voor een boeking!

Sehr gutes Essen, große Portionen, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, dass Ambiente wirkt etwas überladen. Leider wurde an dem Abend etwas unkonzentriert gearbeitet. Hat dem Genuss aber nicht geschadet.

Kurz entschlossener Besuch im SPARTA mit dem Ziel unser „Barometer“ einzusetzen. Freundliche, schnelle Bedienung – gutes, reichhaltiges Essen. Typisches Ambiente mit Platzzuweisung in einer Nebenräumlichkeit, die mit zum Teil noch vorhandenem Büffet offensichtlich auch für Frühstückszwecke genutzt wird. In unmittelbarer Nähe einer größeren Männergruppe, was sich im Verlauf unseres Aufenthaltes als sehr laustarke und unangenehme Beeinträchtigung erwiesen hat. Das man sich zu jedem Hauptgericht einen Salat an der Salat-Theke kostenlos zusammenstellen kann haben wir lediglich einer Fußnote der Speisekarte entnehmen dürfen. Erst bei der Bezahlung wurden wir darüber aufgeklärt, dass unser - offen auf dem Tisch liegendes Barometer - mit dem Gutschein „13 € auf 2 Hauptgerichte“ für die von uns verzehrten Hauptgerichte nicht eingesetzt werden kann, da es sich nicht um eine Auswahl der besonderen Empfehlungen – also MENÜS mit Vor- und Nachspeise gehandelt hat … steht zwar so ähnlich auch im „KLEINGEDRUCKTEN“ … aber die Bedeutung muss man sich damit erst teurer erkaufen / bezahlen. Auch den Gutschein „12,50 € auf Gesamtrechnung ab 60 €“ konnten wir nicht einlösen , da sich unsere Gesamtrechnung nur auf 45,90 € summierte … wir jedoch für einen Aufpreis von 1,60 € hätten noch für die Gutscheinsumme 12,50 € verzehren können … Mit bitterem Beigeschmack fühlen wir uns hier nach Art der Bauernfängerei über den Tisch gezogen.

Typisch griechisches Ambiente und lecker 😋. Auch Vegetarier finden etwas.

Beim Essen hätte es fünf Sterne gegeben wenn der überbacken Schafskäse auch das gewesen wäre was auf der Karte steht und nicht überbacken Zwiebeln
