Restaurant & Café Am Kleistpark in Frankfurt (Oder)

I was in Frankfurt (Oder) for an exam and spontaneously decided to celebrate my birthday with my father at the Café am Kleistpark – and it was the best decision ever! The team was incredibly warm, attentive, and caring – especially our waiter Olli, who made the evening truly special with his warm, friendly manner. When they found out it was my birthday, they surprised me with so many thoughtful gestures – I was completely touched. The food? Simply fantastic. Every dish was lovingly prepared, perfectly flavored, and beautifully presented. I was also thrilled with the wine list – some of my favorite white wines were actually on the menu. What luck! The atmosphere was exactly what you'd want for a balmy summer evening: a quiet, stylishly designed terrace, ideal for families, conversation, and enjoyment. A little green oasis in the middle of the city. I can only say thank you from the bottom of my heart – to Olli and the entire team! You made my day unforgettable. I will definitely be back.

A solid address in Frankfurt for years. I'd even say that the Kleistcafé is, overall, the best restaurant in Frankfurt. Because: The food is always high-quality and, of course, freshly prepared, the service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is always cozy. And that's been the case for several years, mind you. Lunch is always worth it, too. What could you do better?: Not much. Perhaps you could expand the selection of non-alcoholic beverages for adults (i.e., for people who really don't drink alcohol at all). For example, de-alcoholized wines, botanicals, etc. Because just water, all that sweet stuff, or a warm tea in the evening isn't always a perfect match for a meal.

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Karte ist nicht zu überladen und es findet sich für jeden etwas Leckeres. Die Portionen sind riesig,so gern man möchte, ein Dessert passt leider nicht mehr. Auch ein Besuch zur Kaffeezeit ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Kuchen sind hausgemacht, besonders zu empfehlen, der Windbeutel mit Kirschen und Eis.

Today I visited the café and restaurant at Kleistpark in Frankfurt (Oder) and was completely thrilled! The ambience in the restaurant is inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The menu offers a great selection of dishes that are freshly prepared and very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I felt very comfortable and can only recommend the café and restaurant at Kleistpark. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Böhmische Knödel waren nur gebratene Weißbrotstücken- nun ja. Hatte anderes erwartet. Jedoch ist das Ambiente und die Bedienung top. Tolle Speisen! Eine Hauptspeise kostet ca. 25€

Cozy little restaurant, friendly staff. The menu has something for everyone. We had spontaneously planned coffee and cake, but then we ate something small and a dessert because the menu was inviting. Price performance completely ok. It was very full, but we still got a table. It probably makes sense to reserve on Sundays.

Very good restaurant. We stopped there for late lunch with family. We had great asparagus soup and calf schnitzel with asparagus as it was a beginning of the asparagus season. It is also a great place to improve your german as the waitress was speaking only in german which was funny.

It has a very old-fashioned character and unfortunately the food only looks good, but unfortunately it wasn't a good experience in terms of taste.

We went out to eat with a large family of 14 people on Whitsunday 2024, and not for the first time here. Accordingly, we started the evening positively. The reception and the ordering of drinks and appetizers were also to our complete satisfaction. From ordering the main courses to “delivery” it took a full 1.5 hours. There was no delay in communicating with us and only 4 other guests were there at the same time. Requests for drinks were only accepted upon request to the bar staff. The waitress must have had a bad day. There's no other way I can explain the unfriendly behavior when we took our drink orders - we were looked at grumpily and our heads were shaken when we left. Such behavior is a no go in the service industry. I hope the next time we're there it'll be the same again.

I was there for the first time last Wednesday. I liked everything about this restaurant: the friendliness of the hosts, the first-class food (fillet pan) and the whole ambience of the place. Without the previously very good reviews on the internet, I probably wouldn't have gone there, as the external surroundings of the place seem rather staid.

It's a special place for a cozy meal or get-together, great atmosphere.

We were a large group and were greeted very friendly and warmly upon arrival. The service is outstanding and great importance is placed on ensuring that every guest is satisfied. The ambience is fantastic, you just feel comfortable. The food is excellent, I already know some of the dishes on the menu and am impressed every time. We really enjoy going to the Kleist Café and are already looking forward to the next time :) A visit is absolutely recommended.

Noch nie enttäuscht worden.Herliches Restaurant

Man kann hier entspannt Kaffe trinken und leckeren Kuchen & Torten genießen, drinnen wie draußen. Auch mit etwas "Kräftigem" kann man sich hier stärken und alle Gerichte sehen verdammt lecker auch. Das was wir verspeist haben schmeckte und vorzüglich. Bedienung ist sehr nett und umsichtig. Wenn man sichergehen möchte dass man einen Platz bekommt, sollte man reservieren, da die Lakation sehr beliebt ist.

Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren wirklich unglaublich freundlich und professionell. Das Essen hat uns tarsächlich glpcklich gemacht. Es war für alle das Passende dabei, schön präsentiert und sehr lecker. Wir waren gleich zwei Mal hintereinander dort. Lohnt sich unbedingt!

Waren zum Kaffee dort. Ambiente toll, das Personal war ab 16:00 mit den Vorbereitungen für den Abend beschäftigt. Verständlich, denn dann soll es ausgebucht gewesen sein. Hätte mir mehr Kuchenauswahl in einem Café gewünscht. (Das ist keine Kritik an dem Vorhandenen. )

An unserem letzten Urlaubstag haben wir noch hier mit hausgemachten Apfelstrudel und Windbeutel unseren Urlaubsabschluss gefeiert. Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht!

Es war (fast) alles perfekt. Aber für meinen Geschmack waren in den Mixgetränken viel zu viel Eiswürfel enthalten. (1-2 sind ok, aber 4 naja)

Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen! Essen und Service sehr gut. Aktuell kann ich Kalbsschnitzel, Bratkartoffeln und Pfifferlinge mit einem leckeren Radeberger empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen, schnell zubereitet und draußen lässt es sich gut sitzen. Das Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall einen Abstecher wert.

Ich war gestern Abend das erste Mal in diesem Restaurant und wie immer ohne große Erwartungen. Kurz zusammengefasst kann ich sagen, das Essen war sehr lecker, das Ambiente hat mich sehr angesprochen, der Service top und was ich noch wichtig finde auch die sanitären Einrichtungen waren wirklich top ( sehr geschmackvoll & modern) eingerichtet. Alles in allem spreche ich für dieses Restaurant eine klare, ach was eine glasklare Empfehlung aus. Ich werde bestimmt wieder in diesem Restaurant einkehren. Diese Lokalität hat mich richtig abgeholt.

Unsere Gaumen wurden mit den feinsten Aromen und einer perfekten Balance von Gewürzen verwöhnt. Die Zutaten waren frisch und von höchster Qualität, was sich deutlich im Geschmack widerspiegelte. Wir waren begeistert von der Kreativität und Leidenschaft, die in jedem Gericht steckte.

Sehr großer Außenbereich. Das Restaurant ist hochwertig eingerichtet. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Karte ist regional und die Gerichte sind sehr hoher Qualität. Wir haben kurzentschlossen einen Tisch bekommen und wurden bestens bedient. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Es gab leider nur drei Sorten Eis zu 16 Uhr. Die Servicekraft war zwar nett, aber man hat ihr die Unlust richtig angesehen, nicht schön.

Høflig og venlig betjening og simpelthen fremragende mad. Deres tagliatelle med urter, asparges og store rejer var en nydelse. Min kone var også henrykt over sin laks med sauce af ramsløg og asparges.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre mit freundlicher Bedienung (auch gegen Feierabend hat niemand gedrängelt). Essen bei allen dreien sehr lecker. Portionsgröße auch für gute Esser ausreichend. Reservierung dringend empfohlen.

Neu in Frankfurt Oder bin ich von anderen Restaurants in derselben Preisklasse leider schwer enttäuscht worden…. Das Kleist-Café und Restaurant hat sich mir als einziges Qualitäts-Restaurant gezeigt. Ich hatte Hirschbraten mit einem Apfel-Rotkohl und Kartoffelklössen…. Das Fleisch war zart und wurde mit einer sehr gut schmeckenden, mit Liebe eingekochten Rotwein-Soße gereicht. Die Klöße waren fluffig und der Rotkohl würzig-fruchtig, so, wie man ihn gern isst. Dasselbe Gericht hatte ich zum selben Preis von 23,50 Euro vor drei Wochen in einem Lokal auf der Magistrale als ungenießbar zurück geben müssen, deshalb kann ich hier als Vergleich nur mein höchstes Lob aussprechen…., (obwohl, eine solche Qualität bei dem Preis eigentlich selbstverständlich sein müsste…) Ich bin dankbar mit dem Kleist ein gutes Lokal mit freundlichem Service und gemütlichem Ambiente gefunden habe, wo man gerne wiederkommen wird….

Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren zu viert dort und alle waren zufrieden. Gerne wieder.

Wir sind zu Fuß von der Oder kommend hingelaufen und waren überrascht, denn von außen erwartet man nicht so ein gutes Restaurant. Sehr schön eingerichtet, freundlicher Service und das Essen ist sehr gut. Eine gutbürgerliche Küche vom Feinsten, ich kann das Restaurant absolut empfehlen.

Nach dem ich FFO bis jetzt nicht als kulinarische Oase kennen gelernt habe, wurde ich heute eines Besseren belehrt.Es hat alles gepasst, Service sehr aufmerksam, Getränke (Wein) sehr gute Auswahl und das Essen vorzüglich und mit Liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Das rechtfertigt auch den Preis. Ambiente ist auch sehr angenehm. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung. Super macht weiter so 👏👏👏👍👍
