Wir haben einen tollen Aufenthalt hier gehabt. Super leckeres Essen, klasse Service und eine sehr schöne Location. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal.

Sehr schöne Terrasse mit Aussicht, Speisen lecker. Tischwar reserviert worden. Auf die Frage, ob es möglich ist eine Soße wegen Unverträglichkeit zu tauschen, wurde abgelehnt. Dafür zieh ich mal einen Stern ab. Ich denke mit einer Notiz für den Koch, hätte man das schon hin bekommen.

Sehr schön essen war warm und sehr lecker das Restaurant muss mehr Sterne und Bewertetungen haben ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder um denn spanischen essen wieder zu kosten Kellner auch sehr zuverlässig und bedient die Sachen auch zügig ohne Stress und häktik

Wir waren seit langem mal wieder auf der Burg beim El Castillo zum Essen. Sonntag Nachmittag bei schönstem Wetter draußen den Biergarten trotz der aktuellen Baustelle sehr genossen. 2 x Paella und 2 Tellergerichte äußerst lecker, Preis-Leistung hat auch gepasst, freundlicher Service und ein tolles dunkles Bier vom Fass. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden. Die Auswahl an Tapas ist gut und das Essen war frisch und schön angerichtet. Besonders die Albóndigas, die Champignons und die Datteln im Speckmantel haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war freundlich und das Essen wurde schnell serviert. Kleiner Kritikpunkt auf hohem Niveau: Die Oliven waren komplett in Öl eingelegt, das ist nicht so unser Geschmack. Außerdem hätten wir uns bei den Gambas al Ajillo deutlich mehr Knoblaucharoma gewünscht – dafür war der Geschmack überraschend mild. Ansonsten hatten wir einen schönen Abend und würden das Restaurant durchaus wieder besuchen.

War super 👍 schade das die Bauarbeiten an der Burg noch liegen wo wir da waren aber da könnt ihr ja nichts für. Seh zu empfehlen

Wir waren am 28.06.2026 spontan zum Essen vor Ort. Die Lage ist spektakulär. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Es handelt sich um ein familär geführtes und sehr ansprechend eingerichtetes Restaurant. Und das Essen war ein absoluter Hochgenuss. Spanische Spezialisten, alles hausgemacht. Hier erlebt man noch echte Handwerkskunst. Die 5 Sterne sind hochverdient!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder.....

Wir waren heute mit Freunden daes hat uns supergefallen,3von uns hatten Paella ,ich hatte Schweinemedallions es war alles sehr 😋 lecker . Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Eine tolle Lokalität schöner Biergarten,was wir heute genießen durften,wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Was für ein toller Ort! Wir haben ihn zufällig entdeckt, und jetzt ist es schon Tradition – wir spazieren zwei bis drei Stunden in der Gegend herum und essen dort zu Abend. Das Essen ist köstlich: Tintenfisch, Garnelen und himmlische Desserts. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, und Haustiere sind willkommen.

Hier kann man wirklich super schön sitzen und sehr sehr lecker essen. Die Preise sind hoch aber man muss sagen es lohnt sich.

Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden, sowohl mit dem Essen (Paella), dem wirklich netten und aufmerksamen Personal und der Location an sich. Es war definitiv nicht das letzte Mal und unsere Anfahrt von ca. 30min hat sich mehr als gelohnt.

Wir haben heute ganz spontan hier gegessen und kommen definitiv wieder. Der Fisch war super zart, die Schweinemedaillons super. Alle Zutaten sehr frisch, die Vinaigrette super cremig und harmonisch abgeschmeckt. Der Service war ebenfalls super und aufmerksam. Wie gesagt, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Eine sehr gute Tapas Bar. Hier gibt es leckeres Essen und nette Bedienung. Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen. So richtig Spanisch. Auch der außenbereich hat uns gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Vergangenen Sonntag waren wir zu viert essen. Mein Mann, meine Schwiegermutter und ich hatten uns für Tapas entschieden: durchweg alles sehr lecker - Aioli, Datteln im Speckmantel, Champignons, patatas, Fleisch in roter Soße. Es war eine aufmerksame und nette Bedienung vor Ort. Auch der Nachtisch hat allen gemundet: 2 x Creme Catalana und 1 x Orangeneis. Einziger "Kritikpunkt": Es hätte innen wärmer sein können. Rundum leckeres Essen, das den Preis lohnt!

Wir haben hier mit unserer Herrenrunde gegessen Vorspeisen Tapas alles sehr gut. Hauptspeise 👌🏼 auf den Punkt und super gewürzt etc. Service sehr nett es wurde auch immer wieder gefragt ob was fehlt etc. Wie sich das für ein gutes Restaurant gehört. Super weiter so ! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant hat eine tolle Lage an einem historischen Ort, auf dem Burgberg von Vlotho. Von dort hat man besonders in der laubfreien Zeit eine tolle Aussicht auf das Wesertal. Das Essen ist mittelmäßig, die Portionen sind für Frauen und Senioren zu groß und haben ein erhöhtes Preisniveau. Für Frauen, Senioren, Familien, Gruppen nicht optimal.

Einfach h schön - die Burg, das Restaurant, die Familiäre liebe Bedienung Essen? Einfach sehr lecker!

After a stressful day, we had a truly wonderful meal! Fish soup with more fish than I've had in a long time. A generous portion of paella for both of us. I would have preferred the Veterano at the end, given the prices! Unfortunately, eating out for two is extremely expensive, but that's probably due to the time.

El Castillo Burg Vlotho - A snapshot of a restaurant in Vlotho. The ambiance is very nice and clean. In summer, you can relax in the outdoor areas. The menu is clear and well-structured, offering home-style Spanish cuisine. The dishes are plentiful, tasty, and beautifully presented. The value for money is generally acceptable. And now comes the high-level groaning. Despite great effort, the service still has plenty of room for improvement. A very impersonal and cold greeting. Changes to orders were ignored, a real shame!?!? Clumsy behavior when clearing the dishes; there was no request for drinks, which is really a shame. One might get the impression that the trend is moving toward mass processing, which would be a shame for such a nice restaurant. The good rating is due to the good menu and the successful presentation of the dishes. Overall, recommended.

We had the mixed platter there, which unfortunately was so meat-heavy that we could only eat half of it; we had been looking forward to more vegetarian options. The real rude awakening came when we paid: the mixed platter doubles in price for each additional person at the table. So we paid double the price. We've never experienced this kind of appetizer platter before. Older reviews show that people have complained about it many times. The information on the menu is very misleading! The fact that the owner leaves the menu as it is, even though it repeatedly causes annoyance, suggests some kind of system behind it. When we asked why the dish suddenly cost twice as much, the waitress (an older lady) immediately became very snippy. It seems that this regularly irritates guests. Very disappointing; we won't be coming back.

The menu for two people costs 18.90 euros, and they charged double because there are two of us!!! Even though the plate for two people has a set price of 18.90. Great Spanish restaurant. Especially in summer you have a wonderful view over Vlotho from the terrace. The food is also very good and the service is also quite good.

We've been eating outside for over 20 years and I have to say I've never experienced such outrageousness. The very rude boss of the shop put down her very young waitress in front of all the customers because the two poor girls tried to get us a table for four. She came around the corner and screamed loudly What is that supposed to mean? Afterwards she was very rude to us as customers and sent us home. As luck would have it, we then found out more from friends who had already experienced something similar. We also know from reliable sources that all negative reviews will be deleted. Otherwise this store would only have one star. We also learned that they are not Spanish and that the food is terrible.

We came here especially from Hanover to eat and were simply thrilled. The food was great, very tasty and good portions. The staff was very concerned about the well-being of the guests and was often asked whether everything was okay. We will definitely come back here from Hanover. Update: here for the second time today. And again just great, great and delicious!!! Great location. Really great, especially with a dog in the beer garden. Really really good food!!! Top quality. Large quantities and therefore absolutely reasonable prices. So really very tasty. Absolutely loved it! We only had to wait a short time for our food. Everything is great. We'd love to come back! Price performance and quality fit perfectly here!

A very nice quiet place. Here you can enjoy your meal in peace and quiet. There is a good selection and the drinks are good too. The service was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful. We will come again.
