Despite the festival, always friendly and smiling service staff. It just takes longer if 100 hungry stomachs want to be fed. Anyone who doesn't understand this is simply unlucky. The ice cream sundae for dessert was also delicious. I say thank you and see you next year.

Excellent restaurant with very good food and very courteous and attentive staff. Big praise to the kitchen for the delicious dishes. You don't have to wait long to be served or to have your food served. The atmosphere is unique in this area. We felt very comfortable. Absolutely recommended if you are in the area. You can't get better food in the area.

Thank you for this incredibly pleasant & incredibly delicious lunch. Grandma, grandpa, 2 children, my husband & I spent the morning on the playground and toboggan run. Afterwards we wanted to have something cool to drink before we started our journey home. The children were immediately given a sheet (the children's map) to color with pens. The service was incredibly nice, helpful and very service-oriented. However, the small but fine menu appealed to us so much that we decided to eat a little something even though the provisions box was still well filled. For the children there was chicken and fries, but not these pressed nuggets but rather really tasty pieces of chicken. My husband and I shared the fish dish - stupidest idea of ​​the day because the appetite really came during the meal. The two meat dishes were also absolutely delicious. Highlight - the dumpling fries! So we're very, very happy to come back. Big compliment!

Very good food paired with a fantastic view of the remaining Thuringian Forest. Right next to the restaurant there is a large, extensive adventure playground for young and old. Just as nice to look at... the witch's houses and the earth houses... ideal for a beautiful to spend a vacation. Well, you can also celebrate here, even on a very grand scale... in an extra large "celebration barn" (beautifully prepared). So... highly recommended all around.👍

During our stay in the holiday village belonging to the complex, we had breakfast three times and dinner twice. The service is outstanding. The service staff were all very courteous, humorous (without being forced to be funny) and attentive. We (7) ate fire meat, schnitzel, pike, coconut-vegetable rice, a salad with turkey strips and the schnitzel with asparagus. Everything exceptionally good. Rounded off with delicious homemade lemonades. We really liked it and we ate well.

The miningde restaurant impresses with a very pleasant atmosphere. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food and drinks speaks for itself. The restaurant is a real recommendation!

With eight adults and three children, we had a pleasant family meal here in the restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Very friendly service, good, rich, very tasty dishes. Also pleasantly child-friendly, with a children's card designed as a coloring sheet, pens were provided. We all felt very comfortable. On a day with good weather, which we were unfortunately not granted that day, you can still experience a wide view over the heights of the Thuringian Forest. Thank you very much!!

The restaurant is cozy, the service staff was very personable, friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty, even if it was relatively simple. Parking spaces are free and there are enough available. Unfortunately the weather was so foggy that we couldn't take in the great views. We'd love to come back :).

We were there for the theater dinner. There were around 100 guests in the festival barn. The program was good, the food was good, serving and paying took a while

A really beautiful piece of earth. An incredible view of the Thuringian Forest. Extremely good food, reasonably priced, ice cream, cake something for everyone. Service quick and very friendly. Here you can notice the closeness to nature throughout the entire restaurant. Easily accessible for hikers. Free parking spaces, the earth houses and witch houses are an absolute eye-catcher. There is a playground for the kids and, as a highlight, a summer toboggan run. Always worth a trip for me and my family. Thumbs up 👍👍👍

We ate there on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised, very nice staff and really great cuisine.

We were guests in the Shire for a week and ended our evening in the mining lodge. The food was always perfect, we tried different dishes and everything was delicious. Great food. There are children's meals and vegan dishes. Delicious raspberry spritz, ice cream, cake - and very friendly service. And a beautiful view from the terrace. Just perfect.

When we visited the holiday village, we were not only able to go for a nice walk, but also admire the earth hole apartments and witches' houses. These enable holidaymakers to relax from everyday life while being close to nature. It is also a real holiday paradise for the children. But the highlight of our visit was the restaurant Not only did the ambience create a cozy atmosphere, but also the hard-working staff and the delicious food made the day perfect. I have never eaten such delicious food anywhere. On the way back from our trip we raved about it and were happy about it Looking forward to the next visit. I can recommend this restaurant at any time and hope that you all stay healthy and get through the difficult times in this industry well. Ambiente - toll! Das Essen war weitestgehend okay - Geschmacksintensiv ist anders. Jedoch lässt der Service massiv zu wünschen übrig! 5 Essen bestellt, kamen in 3 Anläufen mit mindestens 10 Minuten Abstand. Das hält unnötig auf, denn man möchte eigentlich gemeinsam essen! Bestellte Mayonnaise auch auf mehrmaliges Bitten vergessen, dass man sie am Ende selbst im Lokal geholt hat. Kalbstagiatelle bestellen, mit Hähnchen bekommen, da Kalb aus ist... den vollen Preis von Kalb zahlen müssen. Das ist frech! Gleich zu Beginn wurde an unserem Tisch offensichtlich geraucht aber einen Aschenbecher gab es bis zum Verlass des Tisches nicht. Und auf die Rechnung wartet man am Ende auch ewig! Heute war normaler Betrieb im Außenbereich. Unverständlich wo das Problem lag! Kundenorientiert ist anders...

Also zu allererst, die Bedinung war der Hammer. Wirklich wirklich wirklich super freundlich und lieb. Ich persönlich fand das Essen nicht überragend. Mein mit Rucolacreme gefüllter Crepe war nur hauchdünn bestrichen. Der Salat nicht angemacht und das nachbestellte Dressing wurde mit 3,50 Euro (!!!!) berechnet (ebenso das Schälchen Ketchup). Das Wiener Schnitzel war zäh und hat ein bisschen seltsam geschmeckt. Ich würde es meinen Freunden nicht empfehlen außer zum Dessert essen, denn das war sehr lecker. Der Ausblick war echt toll aber das gesamte Areal war ziemlich ungepflegt.

Sind hier spontan nach langer Wanderung gegen 14.00 eingekehrt. Trotz Küchenschluß wurden wir nach kurzer Rücksprache mit dem Koch noch bedient und a la carte versorgt Danke dafür, wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder

Wir hatten wegen den Bewertungen gemischte Gefühle, dorthin essen zu gehen, aber es hat alles super geklappt: nette Bedienung, gutes Essen, große Portionen, überall sehr sauber und wir dürfen spontan auch mit einem Hund rein, einfach ein wunderbarer Abschluß unseres Herbsturlaubs, vielen Dank!

Essen hat Imbissqualität aber Restaurantpreise. Pommes billigste TK Ware schlecht frittiert. Eine einzige Enttäuschung. Schade!

Wir kamen kurz vor 14:00 auf unserer Wanderung in der Gaststätte vorbei und haben uns gefreut, dass laut Anschreibtafel durchgehend geöffnet sei. Leider konnte man uns weder eine Kleinigkeit (wir wären mit einer Bockwurst oder einem Stück Kuchen absolut zufrieden gewesen) zu essen (Küchenschluss ab 14:00) noch einen Platz anbieten, da gerade für einen Bus eingedeckt wurde. Die Bedienung war zwar sehr freundlich und hat sich entschuldigt, trotzdem fanden wir es sehr schade, da im näheren Umkreis so gut wie keine anderen gastronomischen Einrichtungen geöffnet oder gar vorhanden waren.

Super Gutes Essen! Preis Leistung Top!

Dafür , dass nahezu jede Familie mit Kind/ern kommt, ist das Restaurant erstaunlich schlecht für Kinder aufgestellt! Es gibt kein Kinderbesteck und auch nichts zum malen für die Kleinen um die Wartezeit zu überbrücken! Wir haben uns mit kleinen Fingerspielen, der Nachbartisch mit „ich sehe was, was du nicht siehst“ die Zeit vertrieben. Die Kinderkarte mit 3 Gerichten spärlich und einfallslos. Das Personal wirkte gestresst und kleine Wünsche bzgl. Sättigungsbeige konnten nicht erfüllt werden! Der Kleine bekam nach etwa 40min sein Essen, während wir noch 15min länger warten mussten! Ich denke unser Besuch war „einmalig“!

Super Essen, Preis - Leistung optimal. Selbstgemachte Thüringer Klöße und verschiedene Braten oder Rouladen. Außerdem eine sehr nette Bedienung. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir haben uns nach der Rodelbahn ein Eis hier gegönnt. Leider war das Spaghetti-Eis nicht selbst gemacht. Auch die restlichen Eisbecher waren etwas lieblos aufgemacht. Wir hatten kein Mittagsgericht, aber die haben sehr lecker ausgesehen.

Hallo, Wir waren 3 Tage im Auenland, u es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles sehr sauber u geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Essen in der naheliegenden Bergbaude war auch sehr lecker u preislich völlig ok. Hervorzuheben ist vor allem das kinderfreundliche Personal u die Einrichtung an sich. Auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne von uns, u ein dickes Dankeschön.

Wir waren schon 3 mal hier zum Essen. Immer mit Kind und Gästen oder Familie. Das Essen war immer gut bürgerlich, lecker und ausreichend. Ich komme gerne hierher.

toller Service, mega leckeres Essen rundum ein tolles Erlebnis

Entäuschung pur. Schlechtes essen. 1mm dickes schnitzel mit mehr panade als fleisch, welche einfach nur fett getränkt war und die soße dazu war ein fertigprodukt. Preise hierfür mega überteuert. Jeder imbiss im umkreis ist besser.

Der Tisch war für Sonntag abend 18 Uhr bestellt . Innerhalb von 10 Minuten, nachdem wir unser Essen bestellt hatten, kam die Bedienung und teilte uns mit das Zirka 80% der Speisekarte ausverkauft ist. Nachdem alle etwas bestellt haben mussten wir 4 essen auf 5 essen aufteilen da es sonst nicht gereicht hätte. Nach ca. 1 1/2 Stunden warten kam dann endlich das essen. Die Schweinelende war innen noch roh und der Servierttenklos war ein gebratener Hefeklos. Die Pfiifferling-Rahm Soße war viel zu salzig, kalt und die Pfifferlinge ungenießbar. Andere Gäste die später kamen verließen vorzeitig das Restaurant weil es keine Speisen mehr gab. Einziger Trost war 20% Nachlass auf der Rechnung.
