I was there for a wedding reception and I can only say good things. The food was very good, the service was very attentive, and we were well looked after. I also really liked the atmosphere, but that's a matter of taste.

We went there because of Giovanni, but he's absolutely terrible at it, not recommended at all. If you don't want to get food poisoning, go somewhere else. Giovanni cooks like a beginner; he should change careers from shoemaker to shoemaker.

A truly perfect restaurant! ✨ The truffle pasta was incredibly delicious, the sweet potato fries perfectly crispy, and the salmon was also superbly prepared. The absolute highlight, however, was the Kaiserschmarrn – truly the best I've ever eaten! 🙌🏽🤤 The non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails were also surprisingly original and tasted fantastic. The service was extremely courteous and attentive. The ambiance was stylish, spacious, and already lovingly decorated for Christmas, which made the evening even more special. All in all, a wonderful evening – highly recommended! Come visit Bahnhöfchen in Bonn! 😍

Whether it's a romantic evening for two, a group outing, or a birthday celebration, a wonderful dining experience both outdoors in the summer and indoors in the winter.

The food was unfortunately not good; it felt like it was all convenience food. We had to wait ages for our meals. We were misled by the positive reviews. I can't recommend this place.

The five of us spontaneously decided to dine at Bahnhöfchen and had asked for a nice table since we were celebrating a birthday. The team was incredibly friendly from the start – from the greeting at the door to our server (I think her name was Limoni). She was incredibly kind and attentive, and she looked after us warmly throughout the evening. My first dish wasn't quite to my liking, but she immediately understood and offered to either remake it or choose a different one – truly very accommodating! Both dishes arrived a little late, presumably due to a larger group, but otherwise everything was excellent. It's a bit pricey, but the service, friendliness, and ambiance absolutely justify it. Definitely a top recommendation for special occasions like birthdays!

The venue is beautiful and offers a unique, stylish, and cozy atmosphere with lots of charm; the ideal setting for special occasions! The entire team was incredibly attentive, friendly, considerate, and always present without being intrusive. The service staff was hardworking, well-organized, and polite. The food was a real highlight – freshly prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. All the guests were delighted and thoroughly enjoyed the culinary experience. Overall, it was an unforgettable evening at Bahnhöfchen in an extraordinary atmosphere! CONCLUSION: Highly recommended – Bahnhöfchen Beuel is the perfect place for special occasions, excellent food, and first-class service. We will definitely be back!

Located directly on the Rhine in a very beautiful setting. An old half-timbered building with a terrace. The dining room is actually a terrace, covered with tarpaulins to keep out the wind and heated. The seating is very pleasant, with a view of the Rhine. The service is fast and unobtrusive. The food was excellent and the wine was great. I highly recommend this place.

It was my first time there since the renovation. It's become really nice and cozy. The service was very good. I was there at 12:00, so they only had the lunch menu. The dishes are very reasonably priced and of good quality, but they're also quite limited. I didn't really get full.

Excellent dining in a top-notch setting. Great dishes, superbly prepared and served as a composition on a decorative plate. The chef really knows how to showcase his work. Aside from the visual appeal, it also tasted excellent. Our waitress, unfortunately only referred to as "Waiter 2" on the bill, rounded everything off. She truly made us feel very special and there just for us. She really contributed to our enthusiasm. Overall, a top-notch performance from the entire team. Thank you.

Picturesque dining on the Rhine! ​ The location directly on the Rhine offers a stunning backdrop, especially as the sun sets. The food was truly delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. The prices for these dishes were absolutely fair.

This is our second time at the Bahnhöfchen, and we've always been completely satisfied. The grilled chicken breast fillet was super tender both times. The potato kippers are a great (even better) alternative to classic fries if you like thin, crispy fries. Our server was incredibly nice and friendly, but I don't remember her name. I wouldn't recommend the extra charge for the truffled fries alone – there was shaved fresh truffle on the fries, but only a very small amount on individual fries, and you could hardly taste any of it. So, you won't get classic truffle fries with that full flavor there, so you can stick with the classic ones for a euro less. However, since this is the only shortcoming I would point out during our two visits, they still get 5 stars.

The restaurant is beautifully situated directly on the Rhine, with a large terrace directly on the bike path, which is always busy in sunny weather thanks to its heaters. The restaurant is usually busy and, thanks to its creative lighting, creates a lovely, romantic atmosphere in the evenings. The food is good. The wines are good, too.

Spent the evening at the train station today. Even as a wheelchair user, I was treated wonderfully. Great food, lovely ambiance, and our waiter, Jean, was super nice, accommodating, and extremely kind. I've NEVER experienced anything like this in Bonn before. Thanks to the staff for allowing my partner and I to spend such a wonderful evening with you.

We spontaneously booked a table for a team lunch yesterday—no problem at all. Unfortunately, after a few minutes—drinks had been ordered—an extremely unpleasant toilet odor permeated the table. Even though our table was far enough away from the restroom door, the stench wafted in strong, regular waves. It's enough to ruin your appetite. We promptly moved the team lunch to another restaurant.

We were at the Bahnhöfchen today and were absolutely thrilled! The food was excellent, truly delicious, and of high quality. The ambiance is also fantastic (including a view of the Rhine) – a very nice and cozy atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. We highly recommend the Bahnhöfchen and will be back soon! And not to forget: Jasmin's excellent service! She was exceptionally friendly and attentive (a true professional...!). We felt completely at home and can only recommend Jasmin (...with J.).

We received a voucher from the children and that's how we discovered this little train station. We're absolutely thrilled with the ambiance, the service, and the food. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside with a view of the Rhine, but it's also really nice inside. Highly recommended!

The only thing missing was a little salt and a special touch. Service was a bit inflexible, but as the evening progressed, it became attentive and competent. Prices are absolutely reasonable, and the portions are hearty. We would go back and can give it an almost unconditional recommendation; the view of the Rhine alone is phenomenal.

I ate at the Bahnhöfchen with my girlfriend today, and both the ambiance and the food were phenomenal. There are definitely some delicious options on the menu for vegetarians. The server who served us was super friendly and accommodating. Thanks to you, Cetric, the evening was even more enjoyable.

A very nice restaurant right on the banks of the Rhine. Located below the bridge that leads from Beuel to Bonn. Very modern decor. Friendly staff. Great menu. From bowls to noodles, burgers, and veal schnitzel, everything was delicious.

We spent an evening with friends, and despite being a bit older, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff. The young waitress, in particular, treated us excellently and courteously – something we rarely experience these days. As for the food, the selection was very varied, as each of us ordered something different. Overall, we were satisfied with the dishes; we enjoyed them. One minor drawback was the noise level at the beginning of our visit; it wasn't so much the music, but rather the lively atmosphere, as the restaurant was quite busy that evening. Despite this minor comment, it was all in all a lovely evening. We received friendly and competent service and would definitely return.

Very nicely located on the Rhine

The restaurant is elegantly and aesthetically designed, with special mention for the seats directly on the Rhine, which offer a beautiful view. The service was attentive and warm. Our order was taken promptly, and the food was served within 10 to 15 minutes. Cutlery, salt, and pepper were brought to the table immediately after ordering, underscoring the positive impression of the service. I chose the salmon tagliarini, which tasted amazing and was served in a perfectly sized portion. Neither too big nor too small, just right to fill you up without wasting anything. For dessert, there was a tiramisu, which, although a bit smaller, tasted good, and I appreciate the work and artistry that went into it.

I don't want to get bogged down in endless text here. There were four of us. Sunday lunch. The restaurant was very busy. We were very satisfied, even though one dish didn't meet our personal expectations. Meaning, the quality was perfectly acceptable (except for the very tough beef 😉). We decided not to eat it without complaint. However, despite the staff's real stress, they very attentively asked if something was wrong. The answer was, with the exception of the beef, quite appealing, but not to our individual tastes, and the very attentive service employee went on his way. As I said, we didn't complain. Let's not get carried away!!! What can we say? Even after discussion, we were told, "We'll pay for it, not your problem!" We weren't charged. I've never experienced anything like that before. And I dine in restaurants very, very often (3-4 times a week) because I travel a lot for work.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we had a very pleasant experience. We only ordered coffee and cake, but both were delicious and freshly prepared. I particularly want to highlight the beautiful view, which made our stay even more relaxing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making us feel immediately at home. A place I would gladly visit again. Next time, I'll also have dinner!

Old train station vintage look with spacious terrace next to the Rhein River, looking like you are somewhere at the Mediterranean 🌊 High ceiling, some tables with confortable sofas. Small private parking at the entrance makes you feel like ViP :) All in all, this became my favorite place in Bonn. And last but not least,... pleasant staff and relaxed atmosphere is what make me very happy person while dining here ❤️ Special thanks to management,.. in fully occupied restaurant today (1.5.2024) we were served with pleasent smiles and food being 10 out of 10 👌🙂 Well deserved 5☆

We had a truly lovely evening at the Bahnhöfchen! The food was delicious, the service friendly, and I was especially pleasantly surprised that they actually took my note when making the reservation – something you don't see very often! The ambiance was also perfect; even the restroom was stylish and well-maintained 😄. The price might be a bit on the high side, but that's easy to check beforehand – but it's definitely worth it for the quality and service. We'll be back!

The restroom is a disgrace, like at an outdoor pool. The service staff is very unfriendly, especially the "manager." The food hasn't tasted good since the new owner took over.

Chic restaurant with delicious food. I think some parts of the concept aren't fully thought through. For example, I find the area at the front a bit improvised, as is the entire route to the restrooms. When we once had a company party there, the organization wasn't great either, and we couldn't really celebrate because of the neighbors.

Red flag if this is a reaction to factual criticism. Original review: Too bad – I used the location for a business lunch. The view and ambiance are great, and that's mainly what you pay for. The food is good, but also expensive compared to the quality. Example: My avocado halloumi bowl had exactly three thin slices of avocado. Service was nice, but not very attentive: One meal was forgotten and only served upon request. The waitress said they wanted to give us a drink for free. However, this wasn't reflected on the bill. Considering the total bill was €130, it's a shame. I will choose a different location for business lunches in the future.

First of all, I should state that I was only there once, so this is a snapshot. Since I was visiting the nearby beach and couldn't find any other alternative, I used the restroom there (I was visiting from the Ruhr area and therefore unfamiliar with the area). After waiting for my server, I asked a waitress if it was possible to use the restroom for a fee. Unfortunately, the interaction was more defamatory than satisfactory for me: My money was refused with a roll of the eyes, and the restaurant showed me the direction of the restrooms without further explanation. I can imagine that in such upscale restaurants, preference is given to guests who also eat there, and patience certainly runs out when many others visit the restaurant throughout the day to use the restroom. However, the interaction could certainly have been more pleasant in my case. Apart from that, the restaurant was very busy during my visit, and entry was regulated. I can only visually assess the food itself, or describe the satisfaction of the visitors – the food looked and smelled delicious, and the audience seemed to enjoy it as well. Since some people will certainly be feeling the same way as I did, perhaps it would be in their best interest to find a solution. Perhaps the city of Bonn can help; law enforcement officers were on site, in any case.

We had reserved a sun-protected spot outside online, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. The ambiance inside was very appealing – great furniture, chic color scheme! The restroom was stylishly designed, but unfortunately not particularly clean, and there was no paper towels. The bowl was deliciously presented and tasted good. The burgers were tasty but not particularly well presented. Overall, my expectations were higher.

The food was good and the location was great—but the service was, unfortunately, a complete disaster. I went there for brunch with my best friend on her wedding anniversary. She had already made a reservation last October for a patio table. There were 40 of us. When we arrived, the seats were prepared for us inside, not at two long tables, but at several blocks of tables, so that the bride and groom had the guests at their backs. The manager was completely unprofessional and not at all understanding, very annoyed and irritable. After an hour and a half to two hours, we were asked to go out onto the patio, at a time when the sun had already reached its zenith and the heat was obviously blazing. Some of the guests understandably wanted to stay inside (including an older lady), which led to an argument with the manager. After we repeatedly emphasized that the planning had already taken place last fall, the manager told us, "I don't want to have the same discussion five times in a row." Then just do everything as discussed, how about that? If you have additional reservations, that's not our fault, but rather the fault of the restaurant's organization. So, as I said, unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. Especially to treat the bride and groom like that on their wedding day is truly unacceptable. It's a shame!
