My favorite restaurant since it opened. The portions are perfect, the service unbeatable... wonderful. You feel welcome, there's lots of laughter, and great conversations.

We were a group of four and ate at Athos. We also have good Greek restaurants in Eckernförde and Kappeln, but the meal at Athos in Delitzsch was particularly good. Athos was busy, which is a good sign. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. Our order was taken with a smile and a few jokes. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely eat there again on our next visit to the Delitzsch area. The price was more than reasonable. Thank you!

Always happy to come here. I've rarely experienced such hospitality. The owner always makes a point of having a quick chat, and for my birthday, he even gave me a personal serenade. The food is delicious and not too greasy. Simply the best Greek restaurant in the area.

We visited Atos in Delitzsch for the first time today – and honestly: we absolutely recommend it! All the staff are super friendly, attentive, and helpful. The dishes arrived quickly, were served hot, and absolutely delicious. A very special highlight are the honey balls – an absolute delight, truly the best honey balls in the world! 😍 We'll definitely be back, because Atos will be our regular Greek restaurant from now on.

The quality of the food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the taste is outstanding. The value for money is also positive. However, a slight drawback is the condition of the dishes, which appear somewhat worn and a bit dull.

We love the restaurant; it has a lovely outdoor seating area, which is located on the street, which is quite quiet in the evenings. The service is very attentive and unobtrusive. The menu offers something for every taste, especially meat lovers! Highly recommended is the mixed appetizer platter with eggplant, zucchini, tzatziki, breaded feta, pepperoni, etc. It's enough as a starter for three to four people. The lamb in Metaxa sauce (it should be noted that there's plenty of sauce especially for German tastes) was also very tasty. As an aperitif, we recommend an ouzo from the menu on ice. At 40% ABV, you won't notice it right away, it's a real alternative to the usual free ouzo and absolutely worth the money. In conclusion: we'll be back and will gladly make the 20 km drive from Leipzig!

Very quiet atmosphere. Relaxed and very friendly staff.

The food was truly delicious, and the staff was friendly. We sat outside, which is actually quite pleasant when the weather's nice, but since you're sitting right on the street, the noise level is quite high, and it's sometimes difficult to have a proper conversation. We would still eat there again anytime, but we'd just sit inside to avoid this "problem."

After three and a half years, I was back in Delitzsch and reminded of Athos. The service and food were again top notch, and there was nothing wrong with the ouzo this time either. Only the ouzo didn't meet the quality that I'm used to from such a drink. My shandy also had a strange aftertaste. Nevertheless, full marks for this pleasant stay.

Very nice restaurant with incredibly good service, value for money is great, we were even allowed to take our little puppy with us. Even small changes to the dish were effortlessly accommodated. Toilets were very hygienic, so we were able to have a nice birthday celebration, even at short notice we were able to get a table for 4. A reunion is definitely guaranteed!

We visited this Greek restaurant for the second time in April 2024 with friends. And, like the first time, I really enjoyed it. The service was very attentive, always in a good mood and friendly. The food was to die for. Including all the appetizers we had! This is how I introduce Greek hospitality.

A loyal regular customer for several years. We even drive from Leipzig to Delitzsch to eat at Athos there. The boss and the employees are very nice. A special highlight are the honey balls, which unfortunately are only available as dessert in the restaurant on some days. Unfortunately, the portions have become smaller over time, but they still taste very tasty. I highly recommend it!

Price/performance is good. You just sit close together with the neighboring tables. The food is ok so far. The taste hasn't changed much in the last few years (always the same).

Always so delicious! Went there with friends who treated themselves to the surprise platter for two...that would also have been enough for the four of us. Even though it was relatively full, we didn't wait long for our food. There was a children's menu and there were pens on the table for coloring. There was nothing to complain about, we had everything left packed up!

We were here for the first time today. There was also space at lunchtime. We liked it very much. We received a very friendly welcome and the service was great. I have to mention that it was very positive that there was a Friday day ticket. Since the portions are usually very large at Greek restaurants, these were completely appropriate. And the price/performance ratio was absolutely right. The aperitif Bianco was great. My wife hadn't had such good dry white wine for a long time. The starter and main course were very good. At the end there was an ouzo. All in all, we had a lovely 44th wedding anniversary with you. We would be happy to come back and can recommend you with a clear conscience. Thanks again.

I can't understand what Mr. Hesse writes at all and we eat at Athos very often. Firstly, I can't tell that the dishes have become smaller, secondly, the food is absolutely plentiful and very tasty. Thirdly, in all these years no one has asked us to finish drinking so that new guests can be seated. I think they are better at the buffet Greeks Comparing the buffet Greeks with Athos is like comparing apples with pears. .

We would recommend a visit to this restaurant, if it weren't for one but. The food there was simply great and there was no complaining, only special requests were not possible and many Greek restaurants were not interested in fries as they didn't get any garlic potatoes here. Regarding accessibility, I have to say that wheelchair users have an obstacle here, so there are 16 flights of stairs down and there is no elevator here.

Food and service very good, but it is very narrow, tables are placed very close together so you have to sit very close together and therefore unintentionally overhear the conversations from the neighboring table

After "cheating" twice last year, I returned to Athos last night. Everything went very quickly. Although it is very busy on a Saturday evening and every table is occupied. As always, the food was absolutely delicious. Service 5*****. The only small downer... Unfortunately there are no yeast balls on Friday and Saturday. 🤷‍♀️ Maybe that will change again. Nevertheless, I go home happy, full and satisfied. 😊. The dessert of the day: the Ekmek(Εκμέκ) is absolutely delicious. But I also like sweet. 😋😋😋 And a Tsipouro shouldn't be missing either. 🤭 Thank you and see you next time. Ευχαριστώ και τα λέμε την επόμενη φορά .
