Absolutely cannot recommend this Greek. Ordered something to pick up. Ordering went quite quickly, waiting time was around 20 minutes. When we get home we get a surprise: the dish “Suvlaki” for €15.90 is an absolute joke! They were tiny little pieces of meat! I feel ripped off! Never again the Athens restaurant!

Apparently the reservation via Google doesn't work despite confirmation. The portions are large and filling. The food tastes good. Unfortunately our starter was forgotten. The service leaves a lot to be desired, the service staff are nice, but: they don't ask if everything is OK, the clearing up doesn't work at all, even though service staff walk past the table, there are no reorders for drinks because you don't ask becomes.

We had a very cozy dinner here. There was plenty, changes were taken into account, and the preparation time was totally ok. It was very delicious. The service was very nice and friendly. The restaurant is small but very cozy and clean. Anyone looking for good Greek cuisine is in good hands here.

I've been there several times. Out for dinner with a friend yesterday. Service was very friendly. A dish with Metaxa sauce was put together especially for us. This was particularly delicious. We also really enjoyed the tomato soup beforehand. In terms of portions, we have nothing to complain about. There was also plenty of ouzo. When it got colder I got some black tea. It was a very beautiful evening.

You arrive and feel comfortable. Welcome ouzo is immediately at your place. Service and boss attentive and quick and concerned about the well-being of the guests. Food 1A delicious and more than normal eaters need to fill up. All in all a successful visit. And at the end there is a come-back ouzo. We will be back.

We were there last night. After a few months we finally went to Jever again for a Greek meal. Everything was basically perfect: we were warmly welcomed, taken to the table we had pre-ordered, and the first round of ouzo arrived quickly. The time it took to order drinks and food was also quick. The taste of the food was perfect. However, the portions are not very large. Guests sitting right next to us had similar complaints. I think that for a gyro plate that costs almost 20 euros, you can expect a little more meat and fries!

Side salad only white beans and coleslaw. Suvlaki skewers ok. Flesh quite compact, taste good. Bifteki without filling small and compact. Bifteki with filling the hammer. We will be back.

Thank you for the lovely evening. 😊 We were warmly welcomed by the owner and his family. As a starter we had sheep's cheese in dough and tzatziki (very good). Upon request, we had grilled vegetables for the main course. After the meal, we were able to enjoy our drink outside in the evening sun. We were completely satisfied.

Today we went to our favorite Greek restaurant again. Very good food, good drinks and an always warm welcome round off the visit every time. I absolutely recommend the chtipiti (spicy sheep's cheese cream with fresh bread) and the bean salad with the meat dishes. The gyro is also highly recommended!

Vegetarians also get their money's worth here. Always a recommendation in Jever. By the way, the first ouzo on the house shouldn't be the last

We were passing through and discovered the restaurant early in the evening. We were warmly welcomed even though a table reservation was requested. We were offered a table even without a reservation. A fantastic combination of traditional Greek cuisine and modern influences, topped off with excellent service and extremely thoughtful options for specific dietary requirements. I'm Scottish and eat a plant-based diet, while my wife is German and gluten-intolerant. We both felt very well looked after, particularly me. When my diet was mentioned, the waiter immediately suggested their vegan gyros (brand new dish, not even on the menu yet!) which I absolutely loved. If we visit Jever again, we'll definitely return to this gem of a restaurant.

Great, we know a lot of Greeks nationwide and in our home town of Kiel. Meat, for example, was grilled very well and the spices were great. When it's full it gets a bit tight

The two of us were there on Whitsunday without a reservation. We were lucky to get the last table, it was fully booked. The boss and his employee were very busy, but always gave the impression that they had everything under control. The food was great! Price-performance ratio was great. The tzatziki too. All in all a very nice evening, we would love to come back!

I've rarely eaten so badly at a Greek restaurant... luckily I only ordered gyros with rice and salad... The salad - carelessly slammed onto the plate, beans, a piece of tonata, some cucumber - taste absolutely zero. The rice, not sticky or lumpy, just mushy and no taste. The highlight was the gyros, greasy, overly seasoned and partially burnt. I left more than half on the plate - when the waitress asked if the food was good, I answered truthfully - but she wasn't interested...so, never again...

It is not the first time I visit this wonderful restaurant and as always I leave amazed. it has a perfect atmosphere and a wonderful staff. one thing worth mentioning are the toilets, which are very clean. hey people who come to Jever, visit this restaurant because you will miss something that you can't find in other restaurants😊

This time we visited our dear friends and went to Athens Essen with them on May 11th, 2024. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious 😋. I ate tzatziki with bread and a Poseidon platter. What I found a bit unfortunate was that there was no cheese in the Bifteki. My wife ate sardines fried. She was very enthusiastic about the food and would order it there again and again. Of course I checked the toilets and they are both clean and usable without any problems. Can only be recommended. 👌

Went there for the first time today with the family, great atmosphere, very polite and courteous staff. The starter, main course and dessert were super tasty, and the fish with the fresh vegetables was also highly recommended. The portions are so good that you can definitely make it. Unfortunately a bit disappointing! For the price we would have expected that you would be full! We ordered food to take away and found a more or less children's portion in the packaging! The gyro was poorly seasoned and tasted bland! It could have been much crispier! I liked the salad best which is very sad for a Greek restaurant. What a shame, it was an attempt!!!

Unfortunately my gyros with Metaxa sauce was extremely salty and only tasted like oregano? It was tasty, unfortunately every other taste was lost, I didn't taste any cheese or Metaxa, when asked about it, they listened and offered me something to drink, which then showed up on the bill, it's a shame it doesn't work that way

Das Personal war supernett und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen kamen schnell und haben fantastisch geschmeckt. Der Service war während der gesamten Zeit gleichbleibend freundlich. Trotz der Entfernung zu unserem zu Hause (Aurich) werden wir immer wieder hierher kommen, wenn uns nach griechischem Essen ist.
