Meine Partnerin und Ich waren gestern das erste mal da. Wir haben einen Tisch vorbestellt und schon am Telefon war die Dame super nett. Als wir ankamen war es einfach traumhaft. Alle super lieb und super nett. Man wurde rundum versorgt und nett behandelt und das Essen war auch super lecker. PS. Wir kommen wieder und dann genieße ich wieder das mega Rumpsteak

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 16 Personen zum Essen, und waren sehr zufrieden.

Unscheinbares griechisches Restaurant. Drinnen ist es leiser und schöner . Griechische Musik wird abgespielt . Es gibt sogar Gyros mit Kalamares . Sehr lecker und zart . Dazu gibt es grosse Portion Salat .

Sehr gut gegessen. Nur beim nächsten Mal werde ich wieder drinnen sitzen - ruhiger (Autos, E Roller, Fahrräder....) und keine Raucher. 🤔 Das Essen ist auf den Punkt gegart.

Habe einfach nur einen Gyrosteller bestellt und der war mega. Jever von Fass war auch hervorragend. Ich komme wieder wenn ich in Jever bin...

Spontan im Athen‘s eingekehrt und was für ein tolles, leckeres Essen hat uns hier erwartet. Saftiges Gyros, schmackhafte Calamares-Tuben und knalliger Tsatsiki. Vom freundlichen Service, bis zu dem angenehmen Ambiente stimmt hier alles. Und Ouzo gibt es zur Begrüßung. Wir haben uns Willkommen gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes Essen. Nettes Team. Die Jungs sind auf Zack. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal!

Dieser Grieche gehört zu den besten, die ich je besucht habe! Der Reis ist unglaublich lecker, das Tzatziki hat genau die richtige Knoblauchnote und das Gyros ist sehr zart. Die entspannte Atmosphäre wird durch den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service noch verstärkt, der einen bei der Ankunft mit einem Ouzo und der Speisekarte begrüßt.

Ich muss weiter aus holen. Ich muss nach Jever fahren um das mit ABSTAND beste griechische Essen aussehalb von Griechenland zu bekommen. Sensation. Gemächlich ne 1. Kein 0815 Essen. Super authentisch. Vorspeise Knoblauch Brot haut einem alles weg aber is halt auch sehr geil. Nur die Balsamico Creme wir dem Salat braucht niemand. Vorspeisen Salat mit super Bohnen und Krautsalat optimal abgestimmt. Das Hauptgericht perfekt. Fleisch saftig, toller Geschmack, super gegrillt ohne trocken zu sein. Der Reis nicht wie man das kennt diese rote Pampe sondern cremig mit Metaxa abgestimmt. Mega geil. Also wer in der Nähe von Jever ist muss da einmal gewesen sein. Ich würde zur Sicherheit reservieren. Macht ihr top. Weiter so... Richtig gut! Sehen uns nochmal!

Ein sehr tolles Restaurant, welches ich gerne jedes Jahr in Jever aufsuche, wenn ich dort Urlaub machen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Einen Ouzo gab es schon Mal vorab, was auch immer seltener wird. Man hat Zeit seine Vorspeise in Ruhe zu essen bis der Hauptgang kommt. Eine gut sortierte Wein-Ecke mit griechischen Weinen gibt ein gutes Tavernen-Feeling her. Es wird dort auch Tarama mit Brot angeboten, was auch selten ist. Das Essen hat an Qualität über die Jahren nie abgenommen. Wenn man lecker griechisch essen möchte, ist man hier echt gut aufgehoben. Bin nie enttäuscht worden! Bitte so bleiben 🙏🏻

Guter Mainstream- in äußerst freundlicher Atmosphäre. Das Lokal ist gemütlich, aber teilweise bei hohem Publikumsverkehr mannig eng. Das empfindet ein jeder anders und schön. Deshalb, wenn man weniger Gewusel wünscht, sollte man dies im Vorfeld bei der Reservierung anmerken. Unter diesen Aspekten kommen wir gerne wieder. P.s. Der Herr mit der Ouzo Gießkanne hat Humor! 🤠

In der Gruppe dort gewesen, etwas verwöhnt von anderen Restaurants, haben wir für das nächste Treffen woanders reserviert. Ein Highlight waren die Lammkoteletts und der Salat, das sei fairerweise gesagt.

Gutes Essen. Der Laden war voll.

Ein typisches griechisches Restaurant mit den gewohnten Speisen. Diese wurden wunderbar zubereitet und schmeckten hervorragend. Das überaus freundliche und aufmerksame Personal ließ uns zu dritt den Abend genießen. Etwas laut war es, was jedoch normal ist, wenn man die Weihnachtsfeiern der anderen Gäste berücksichtigt. Nichts desto trotz war das Arrangements der Tische und Stühle und Pflanzen zum Raum nicht ganz passend. (Für mich persönlich fühlte sich das Ambiente etwas eingepfercht.) Preis und Leistungsverhältnis war super. Das Personal wie gesagt war sehr Aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Immer ein Restaurantbesuch, der sich lohnt.

Ein wirklich gelungener Neustart unter den neuen Besitzern! Das Restaurant hat sich spürbar zum Positiven verändert – von der herzlichen Begrüßung bis zum letzten Bissen. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Detail hier einfließt. Das Essen ist frisch, kreativ und hervorragend abgeschmeckt. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich Gyros Calamares das nicht nur fantastisch geschmeckt hat, sondern auch wunderschön angerichtet war. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und authentisch – man fühlt sich einfach willkommen. Auch das Ambiente wirkt nun viel einladender und passt perfekt zur neuen Ausrichtung des Hauses. Ein tolles Konzept, das Lust auf mehr macht! Ich freue mich sehr über die Veränderung und werde definitiv wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung – weiter so

We were here for the first time on October 2nd. I reserved a table online. It worked out great. When we walked in, we received a very warm welcome. Upon arriving at our table, we were served a welcome glass of ouzo. The menu is very clear and not overloaded with dishes. The food is, quite simply, "brilliant." Especially the garlic cream sauce, which you can also order as an extra. The service team is also excellent and unobtrusive. We will definitely be back.

We've been to the restaurant several times and were really satisfied; the quality and quantity were great! Today we only wanted the Athens salad twice, which I've had in the restaurant before! A total disappointment: there were so many onions and so little meat! I picked out a photo from 2024, and today there was only a third of the meat in comparison! Much less of everything, except the onions! The value for money was really very poor!

We went to Athen's with our son today. It was everything it should be for a successful evening. Ouzo before, and something for our son to toast with. The food was truly delicious. Ouzo again to finish. Service from start to finish was attentive and friendly, simply perfect for our vacation. We'll definitely be back.

Today was our first visit to Athen's Restaurant, and it certainly won't be our last. I ate there with my father, and we both loved it. The ambiance is very inviting, stylish, and cozy. You immediately feel at home. The service was attentive, friendly, yet pleasantly unobtrusive—just the right balance. The food was absolutely top-notch: freshly prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. The grilled vegetables and tzatziki were particularly special, but the meat dishes were also spot on. High praise to the entire team. This is what you imagine a successful restaurant visit to be. Unreservedly recommended!

We arrived late and the place was closed, but the owner opened it again for us and served us very warmly. Everything we ordered was simply delicious, especially the gyro with broad beans. If we're in Jever, we'll definitely eat here again.

When we are in Jever, there is actually only one culinary address for us: the *Restaurant Athen’s*. We've been there four times now - and each time it was like a little Greek vacation in the middle of Friesland. You could say that we are regular guests out of conviction - or as the Greeks would probably say: "phíloi tou spítiou" - friends of the house. What makes this restaurant so special is not just the excellent food, but above all the warm atmosphere. The service is consistently attentive, incredibly friendly and always in a good mood - you feel welcome before you even sit down. Families with children in particular are welcomed here with open arms. Child-friendliness is very important at Athens, and you can tell that every time you visit. The menu offers what the Greek heart desires: juicy grilled plates, tender-crispy calamari and a large selection of traditional starters that make the start of the evening an experience. And yes – there is no saving on garlic. Anyone who dines here may need a bit of distance from colleagues the next day, but that will give them an extra point on their taste bank! Garlic is not seen here as a spice, but as a declaration of love. Particularly noteworthy is the unbeatable price-performance ratio. The quality of the food is consistently high, the portions are generous and the taste is simply fantastic. No matter which dish we have tried so far, we have never been disappointed. As a little extra, there is always an ouzo on the house after the meal - a loving gesture that ends every meal well and satisfied. Conclusion: The *Restaurant Athen’s* is much more than a Greek restaurant – it is a place to feel good, enjoy and come back.

Hello, we were on a short vacation and ate there on the first evening. Excellent service, excellent food, and fresh Jever wine. Very cozy and great atmosphere. They also served house ouzo. At the end of our vacation, we went there for the second time and were equally impressed. Great owner and staff. This makes eating on vacation simply enjoyable. Thank you so much 👍👍👍

It was a Friday evening and the restaurant wasn't even half full, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. On the menu are the usual dishes that Germans expect in a Greek restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful, although a drink was forgotten (for three people). It's a matter of taste, but I personally find it a bit irritating when the waiters wear private clothing (colorful T-shirts) and not uniform uniforms. The starter came quickly and was okay, although I assume the tzatziki was not fresh and homemade but from a purchased bulk pack. Although there wasn't much going on, we waited quite a long time for three dishes (over 30 minutes). My blackheads were happy with their main course, mine was a disaster. I ordered Greek pasta with lamb "from the oven". I received a dish that was clearly mixed together in a pot. My deep plate was almost overflowing with a somewhat indefinable, almost unseasoned rice-cream-tomato (?) mush, in which a few pieces of meat were floating, and everything was almost cold. The meat was basically okay. I know the dish completely differently, and I expect it to be piping hot straight from the oven in an appropriate casserole dish. I wouldn't go there again.

We felt very comfortable and everything from ordering to payment went very quickly. The hosts are very friendly. The garlic bread is amazing 😋. The main courses were also very good and plentiful. Thanks for the ice-cold ouzo at the end/farewell. We'd love to come back.

My absolute favorite restaurant.

Service good, food really not edible. Gyros plate more fat than meat, pork fillet menu 4 large nuggets as fillet for a good 20 euros with a really disgusting garlic sauce. Rice a ball, really outrageous. The menu says Cola and you get Pepsi. Unfortunately once and never again. Sorry
