Very tasty and good value for money!

I found the food to be completely authentic. The appetizer salad was very oily, the rice was completely overcooked, and the sauces tasted like packet sauces. The waitress (a woman from the Czech Republic) was very nice and friendly.

Top Greek restaurant with great prices! You're always welcome, and there's plenty of ouzo.

We were there on a Friday evening. I recommend making a reservation, as there were quite a few people there. That's not surprising, as the food here is excellent. I had a warm appetizer plate, which was simply delicious, and then the gyro salad. It was a very well-dressed iceberg lettuce with tender gyros. Absolutely delicious and surprisingly affordable. Thumbs up and a definite recommendation.

We were there last night. We sat outside under the large umbrella. It was lovely again. The service was friendly, and Theo, as always, was up for a chat.

Landed here by chance, was briefly warned because there would be a long wait, but that didn't matter, super tasty, super friendly, always happy

We have been guests for many years and have been consistently satisfied since our first visit! The food is great, the service is great and the ambience is more than satisfactory. We maintain a friendly relationship with the service staff and the boss.

Congratulations! The worst service we have experienced so far. We had reserved for 2 people with a dog. The greeting was frosty, the only thing that mattered was whether we specified the dog when making the reservation. Of course we did. A waiter slapped the menus on the table and appeared shortly afterwards to take drinks and food requests. After the drinks and food were served, no one ever came to see us again. We were obviously ignored. Maybe our small, friendly dog ​​was the reason he wasn't welcome. In contrast to the waiters with their somewhat greasy outfits, our dog is very clean. After 30 minutes of looking longingly for a waiter in front of our dirty plates, we asked for our bill at the counter and paid. The service staff's behavior towards us was absolutely unfriendly and their appearance was unkempt. But if there are few offerings on site, you can treat your guests that way and the store will still be full.

Fish was still raw and not eaten!! Told the waiter. He took the plate with him but there was no fish that was well done... ended up paying full price. Service unfriendly. We weren't asked if we wanted something more to drink or if we liked it. Totally uninterested in everything.

Balanced all around. Food, ambience, service is fine. Unfortunately, the heaters weren't on when we visited, so it was a cooler experience. Of course not all of the food was prepared in-house, but it still tasted good. Reasonably priced. Solid 4 stars ;-)

Portions are good and everything tasted delicious. But being woken up in the middle of the night by food poisoning…absolutely no go. After consulting with friends, it turned out that the number 99 had already caused problems there too. It's a shame, but we don't eat here anymore.

The Athens restaurant in Oelsnitz has a good range of dishes. The dishes are rich. Greek cuisine is catching on. In terms of taste, everything is prepared well and there are no complaints. It was an unpleasant situation for my guests and me. We sat right at the front door and it was uncomfortably cold there. Es war ein wundervoller Abend mit Freunden.Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker.Wenn es einen Lieferdienst gäbe,würde ich jeden Tag was bestellen.Der Service war Erstklassig.Der Beste Grieche bei dem ich jemals gegessen habe.Weiter so,ich komme auf jedenfall wieder!

Das Gyros war sehr gut 👍 der Schweinespieß war dagegen sehr trocken. Bedienung war freundlich und nett.

Es ist gut zu finden und es ist auch eine Park Möglichkeit gegeben. Ist in einem bezaubernden Ort 08606 Oelsnitz. Auch Sehenswürdigkeiten sind da zu finden.

Waren heut ( 10.10.20) im Restaurant Athen zum essen. Sehr nett eingerichtet und wir wurden auch schnell bedient. Hatten als Vorspeise Zaziki und gebratene Peperoni sehr lecker. Aber mein Hauptgericht der Dorfteller der war nicht so gut. Der Gyros war teilweise verbrannt und das habe ich dem Kellner nach dem Essen auch gesagt, er meinte nur wir braten es immer knusprig, also für mich war es verbrannt. Man(n) kann drüber diskutieren aber die Reaktion fand ich eher schlecht. Auch die Hektik die die Kellner verbreiteten weil das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war fand ich nicht so gut. Alles in allem gebe ich 4 Sterne maximal. 5 Sterne wäre echt übertrieben, da gibts schon bessere Restaurants auch in der Umgebung. Viele Grüße aus Plauen. Bitte beachtet es geht nur Barzahlung!!!

During our trip from Italy to Lithuania we stop by in Athen restaurant so have quick meal. With our meals we get excelent service and exceptional attitude towards client! Children says DANKE for the sweets and the small bottle will be used as intented :) Very reccommended! Good luck!

Völlig überfordert wenn das Restaurant voll ist es werden Bestellungen vergessen man wird teilweise übersehen als Gast Getränke kommen nach dem Essen wenn man denn danach nochmal fragt es kommt nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung nix bin echt sehr enttäuscht

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Essen und Service. Durch die Größe des Lokals wird es manchmal etwas laut .

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Trinken und Essen war schnell am Tisch. Es war alles sehr gut und lecker. Es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Leider kann man nicht mit Bankkarte bezahlen, bitte Bargeld mitnehmen. Ansonsten alles super. Wir werden bestimmt wieder hingehen.👍
